I think it's worth noting here that although Kazuki got triggered by what happened to the umbrella and what could've happened to Miri, he doesn't lash out at her and yell at her or say mean stuff to her, or give her The Glareᵀᴹ and a cold shoulder.

My ideal vision of Oliver/Vander is something like Oliver being nervous to talk to him at first not because he thinks hes scary but because he thinks that Vander is a better guard than him and that he wouldn't like talking to him because hes nerdy and gets nervous a lot. But as time passes by Oliver starts to realize that Vander isnt how he thought him to be and that hes actually chill. He would maaaybe start to initiate conversations with him just to get to know him better. One day during a conversation Vander references a line from a video game Oliver likes too and his eyes just shine as he asks him if he also knows about it. Vander would be a little hesitant to open up about his interests with him at first but would probably just nod and hum. Oliver then unknowingly starts rambling about how much he likes it too which surprises Vander because its the most he has talked to him, but it feels nice because someone is just as dedicated to something he likes. They become friends over their multiple shared interests and start hanging out in each other's (guard) dorms for horror movie nights. They start talking about things other than bideo games and stuff, like about their lives and childhood, realizing that they both were kinda isolated due to their introverted nature. They spar and train together, Vander realizing that Oliver is wayy more stronger and knowledgable about combat which hes really into. Sometimes Oliver would ramble to him a lot and he realizes that and starts apologizing for talking too much, but Vander reassures him saying how much he likes listening to his voice which just makes the other guy flustered while hes oblivious as to why Oliver started blushing. Also imagine with how sometimes Vander says weird ominous things about how everything rots, Oliver would probably get a little nervous that hes thinking bad thoughts so he would just grab him by the shoulder with shakey hands and say that he would protect him. And Vander would be slightly taken aback because thats not smth ppl say to him but it makes feel all good and warm inside and maybe make him blush a little. You should also imagine Vander maybe getting slightly injured and Oliver worrying about him so much he just princess carries him to his dorm. Does it make sense

Seeing the extras in the manga is making me love dunmeshi's world more and more... Seeing trivias about the monsters introduced so far, the skeletal structure and anatomy of the basilisk, how mandrakes grow underground and the differences between each growth, how slimes and living armour act in the wild. This is so well thought out and amazingly put together I love it... Worldbuilding... OUUOOUUOGHHGHGG I LOVE THIS SO MUCH
