not me getting irrationally frustrated with this eternal pissing contest between Brotherhood and '03 that somehow still seems to happen even though both shows can legally drink alcohol in Germany by now.
(i wanted to say "can drive a car" but, no, I refuse to use a silly little US-centric comparison for this)
They both have pros and cons. They both have strengths and weaknesses. They are not interchangeable and, to be honest, they are such deeply different stories it feels like an insult to constantly compare them to each other.
OF COURSE you're going to hate Brotherhood, if you expect it to be simply a "remastered" of '03 - '03 is a TRAGEDY and it sets itself up as a tragedy from the very first episode on! I mean, ALPHONSE ELRIC IS OUR NARRATOR! Is there anything more ominous than that? Edward Elric is inherently tragic in '03. Even when he's being silly, everything he does is tinged in grey sadness and a heavy cloud of "doomed" hanging over his head.
If you know this character - if you LOVE this character - of course Brotherhood is gonna disappoint the fuck out of you. Because Brotherhood is the OPPOSITE of a tragedy. It is a story about hope. About if enough people believe in the good of humanity, maybe we can actually change the course of history and create something hopeful.
If the story of '03 is "the path to hell is paved in good intentions" then Brotherhood is all about breaking the cycle of violence.
Neither of these concepts is inherently better or worse than the other. But you cannot compare them. Not really.
You cannot look at a tragedy and go "why is nobody laughing? why are they dying? why are they losing hope?" when all of these things are written into the foundation of the story itself.
AND
just as importantly. You cannot look at a story about hope and go "but why aren't the consequences more dire? why are two opposing forces fighting alongside each other? why are we having a laugh if the world is ending?" - when the answer to that question is: to create a better world you first have to dream of one.
You cannot expect Brotherhood to deal with the Ishvalen genocide to the degree of gruesomeness that '03 does (or with the degree of justified rage by Scar) if Brotherhood is fundamentally a story about breaking the circle of violence even when it fucking sucks. I am not saying Brotherhood couldn't have handled it better in parts (never adapted manga chapters, my beloved) but it just fundamentally isn't a story about a justified Ishvalen survivor trying to enact large scale revenge on the Amestrian military - that's '03.
And if you're looking for a darker look at militarism and imperialism (that doesn't try to offer you a idealistic hopeful ending) there is an entire 51 episode show about that! But don't go and complain when that show dares to end in tragedy. Don't complain if there isn't a happy ending, or if all your heroes end up deeply tragically sad and alone.
You can't compare apple and oranges, and you can't really compare Brotherhood and '03 - so any attempt at calling on better than the other kind of falls short.
"'03 is better!" - yeah, a better tragedy. A more realistic look at Ishval. A darker tale about personal responsibility and consequences. And the homunculi are just a touch more fucked up.
"Brotherhood is better!" - It certainly has more in-depth world building! And a very well-rounded ending. It certainly is a better story about hope. About coming together.
But they're not the same story. So, really, they shouldn't be treated as such.
#fma#fma 2003#fmab#fma brotherhood#fma meta#fandom wank#my stuff#i just....#it is hard to enjoy 03 when people constantly compare it to brotherhood#because they are sooooo different#and i am a brotherhood girlie#but 03 as a standalone is great#(okay that's a lie i am a manga girlie)#everything else still stands tho

also, i told gf about the self harming. it was … awkward? but she’s so nice to me, i almost lost it. i don’t know why she’s so nice to me.
she found out because she asked to reach up my skirt and i said no, and then i couldn’t focus on making out- i wanted to cry or crawl into a hole or something. it didn’t help i Wanted her to reach up my skirt, so i sat far away and wrote a long note, then destroyed the note, and very slowly admitted to what i did while burying my face against her chest. she just kind of gasped and got teary eyed, and it was strange. she tried to make me give all my lighters to my chronic smoker roommate, and i just laughed at her. the effort was admirable and kind but there’s no no no way im stopping doing this.. i don’t see it as a problem.
i did tell her the most recent time was the day before and showed the marks to her. she complimented my star 😭😭LMAO
#i don’t know why i self harm#it bothers me#like im not particularly sad#im frustrated and angry i can’t function without meds#i want to burn but roomie won’t leave#txt#every time i see self harm imagery it makes me want to do it myself so bad… is this what being triggered is?#my thoughts as to reasons are#anger#plus unresolvable childhood trauma#and the sense of goodness being either unfamiliar or undeserved or both#i do a lot of the stereotypical i deserve to feel pain talk to myself when i’m doing it#and it’s something i irrationally believe#and just can’t escape#plus the pain gives you a little rush of euphoria after#which is very drug like#and very epic

fully convinced that doom patrol V2 #34 is all just a fever dream the brain had while listening to the smiths and thinking about how he and mallah got together. that's why it's so one-off, the tone is weird, and the brain's backstory includes him being a little brain in a little tank getting picked on by all the nondisembodied little boys. and also why mallah is drawn with as much thirst and unbridled lust as possible.
the real story is a lot more down to earth and has a lot less juicy gorilla ass. we just never got to see it.
#screaming into the void#monsieur mallah#the brain#mallah x brain#mallah and the brain#doom patrol#pop culture gorillas#joking but also. half-joking.#i theorize that the brain has memory problems due to his accident or whatever caused his brainliness#and that's why his backstory is so inconsistent/even his own lover doesn't seem to know his “real” name#(though i also love trans reasons for this)#in the monsters in love special mallah literally says that while he knows the accident occurred even he doesn't know what caused it#merely that the brain believes (perhaps irrationally) it was niles caulder and so that is the story mallah goes with#this issue could be something similar - perhaps the brain remembers this as what happened but irl it was different#but that's another far more serious post

Hey, if Belos thinks magic is evil, and all magic comes from the Titan, and witches and demons worship the Titan as their god, then, logically, Belos would believe that the Titan is the Literal Christian Devil.
This means nothing I just think it's funny

sharing a room with my sister atm and I’ve been very very careful to be quiet going to bed so I don’t wake her (I’m always last to bed) because if there’s one thing worse than a sleeping person breathing audibly, it’s an awake person breathing audibly
and tonight i crept into the room softly, put my book down painstakingly slowly on the bedside unit without sound, lowered myself into bed and pulled the blankets up as silently as I could manage
and then promptly slapped a spider crawling up my arm with all the strength i could muster creating a truly loud cracking noise
it had to be done
#please dont breathe it pisses me off#-something I’d never say but me nevertheless#i Can dance around it but if we’re being honest#i dont like the sound of someone breathing it makes me irrationally angry#asleep it’s like ok well it’s out of their control be chill#awake I’m like I can’t believe you’re breathing audibly near me. stop breathing now#OBVUOUSLY ID MEVER SAY ANY OF THIS#but it does remain true#i express my anger in healthy ways such as keeping it all to myself because I am being ridiculous

red wine | f. odair
masterlist
summary: you and finnick spend the evening together at a party in president snow’s mansion. hidden feelings reveal that things are much more complicated than they seem.
pairing: finnick odair x reader
warnings: alcohol use, mentions of alcoholism, fluff, flirting, mutual pining, minor angst
notes: i'm really proud of how this one turned out. someone better enjoy it.
word count: 1.3k
The entire room was buzzing, a party at Snow’s Mansion in full swing. People were chatting, laughing, and dancing, and yet all Finnick could focus on was you. Your rosy smile. Your sparkling eyes. Your laugh that rang like a perfectly pitched bell. He had never heard anything more harmonic.
Drunk on sweet red wine, your head fell back with every word that left his mouth. His natural wits and humour only seemed to heighten your amusement.
“…such a liar!”
“No, I’m serious,” Finnick urged, grinning. “Go look if you don’t believe me.”
Your cheeks hurt from smiling so much, but you couldn’t stop. After winning the 70th Hunger Games, you thought happiness was something impossible to regain. Many visits to the Capitol resulted in you meeting the famous Finnick Odair, who, over the course of many months, had gained your friendship and showed you that light could still be found in the darkness that was being a Victor.
“Fine, Finnick. I believe you—President Snow has cats dressed in little white suits running around his mansion.”
“Thank you!”
You weren’t sure how you ended up talking about Snow’s cats. You weren’t sure when the wine had seeped into your brain, making the subject so irrationally hilarious. All you knew was that it didn’t matter what Finnick was talking about. What mattered was that he was talking about it with you.
Throughout the night, all types of women had thrown themselves at him. Beautiful women. Old women. Women who were surgically enhanced to resemble animals. But he rejected them all to stay by your side. Another girl came swooping in, asking him for a dance. She was incredibly attractive, her eyes dark and sultry, her hair pin-straight and hanging at her waist.
Her ensemble was entirely made out of fur that clung to her body, complementing the whiskers that were embedded in her face which made her look feline. You thought for certain he would whisk her away.
But once again, he proved you wrong.
His hand fell on your hip, pulling you into his side. “Sorry, honey. I’ve already got a dancing partner tonight.”
That sobered you up a little.
The woman pouted, her whisker implants drooping as she left in the opposite direction.
You glanced nervously at the large hand still cupping your hip before looking back up at Finnick. “I am not dancing in front of these people.”
“Why not? You’re a great dancer.” He smirked. “Remember that time I walked in on you dancing in one of the bathrooms? That thing you were doing with your hips?” He blew out a breath of air.
Warmth flooded your cheeks. That had been the first time you met Finnick. You were a borderline alcoholic back then, having just become a Victor and all. Still, dancing in a bathroom was tough. Having the Capitol’s heartthrob catch you was even tougher.
“You know, your face is almost as red as that gorgeous dress you’re wearing,” he teased.
Everyone at the party was weighed down with extravagant and obnoxious attire which, to Finnick, resembled aliens trying to impersonate human fashion. But not you though. You wore a simple floor-length silk dress that was the colour of blood. There was nothing remarkable about the gown, yet Finnick found it to be the loveliest thing he had ever seen—a breath of fresh air compared to everyone else’s ridiculous artificial outfits. Or maybe it was just the person wearing it that made him feel this way.
You hiccupped. “I’m just trying to achieve the monarchy look.”
He shook his head, still grinning. “You mean the monochromatic look?” Your expression morphed into one of puzzlement as if you were trying to figure out the secrets of the universe. Finnick chuckled, swiping his thumb across your warm cheek. “Don’t hurt yourself, sweetheart. You’re very drunk.”
“Only a little.”
He watched as your eyes closed, swaying on your feet. There was a small smile on your face, seemingly absorbing the lively atmosphere around you. The thumping music; the sound of laughter, and the warmth of alcohol buzzing in your brain. If the entire room weren’t swarming with his customers and the President’s guards, he probably would have kissed you. And if you were in your right mind, he probably would have confessed his feelings too.
Too many variables worked against him. So, instead, he cleared his throat and said, “Maybe you should call it a night. Before you end up in the bathrooms again.”
You laughed, eyes opening again. He laughed with you, but your drunken mind failed to notice the deep affection his gaze suddenly held. A lot of things had slipped past you that night. If only you had seen them; things between the two of you would be so much more different. Less complicated. More true.
Finnick helped you gather your things, shooing away every man who asked to take you home on your way out. Somewhere along the way, his hand had interlocked with yours. This you noticed. The wine only seemed to enhance the butterflies fluttering around your stomach. It sent sparks up your arm, beginning in your fingertips which rested between his knuckles.
Eventually, he had successfully assisted—half-carried—you down the palace steps and into the backseat of your ride home.
“Don’t get into any trouble without me, Finnick Odair,” you said, looking up at him from your seat.
His dimples grew deep with a genuine smile, dishevelled hair blowing in the soft night wind. He rested a hand on the door. You wished he would step into the car with you.
Once more, he gently brushed his thumb against your cheek. “Never without you, sweetheart.”
A subtle confession. And then the door shut.
Finnick watched the taillights fade into the dark as you disappeared down the long driveway. Gone. Until the next party, that is. Or maybe even before then, if he finally gathered up the courage to convince you to flee Panem with him. Only then would he be free to pursue his feelings for you.
Johanna, who had been threatened into coming to the party by the President, found Finnick at the bottom of the palace steps, solemnly staring into the darkness. She stepped beside him. He didn’t seem startled; he barely even noticed her presence.
“You okay?” she asked flatly. When Finnick said nothing, she tried again. “You two looked friendly tonight.”
The muscle in his jaw ticked. Was it that obvious? Who else noticed?
“Johanna,” he finally acknowledged her existence. “If I asked you to put an axe in my head, would you?”
“Not that I wouldn’t be happy to do so, but why, may I ask?”
His hard-set lips quirked at the question. Why? Shades of red flooded his mind like an open floodgate. Crimson of a silk dress. Cherry of painted lips. Pink of blushing cheeks. All of which flowed through his red-blooded veins and straight into his heart.
Laughter in the tune of a perfected melody echoed in his ears, the image of a beaming smile accompanying it. Then there was the voice, “Don’t get into any trouble without me, Finnick Odair.” He hung onto every word that voice spoke. All the philosophical thoughts it had spoken aloud; the nonsensical wine-drunken babbling, and the gentle whispers that longed for a simpler life which he had the honour of being trusted with. Your voice. Your words.
Everything that made you who you were—that was the answer to Johanna’s question. The reasoning behind Finnick’s next words.
“I’m in love with her.”
Surprise briefly flickered across Johanna’s features, then returned to their usual monotony state. “Well… that’s not good.”
“No,” he spoke, his eyes lingering on the ominous white roses that lined either side of the driveway. “It’s not.”

CHILD OF DIVORCE — l. heeseung
PAIRING heeseung × fmr
DESC. yours and heeseungs breakup through the eyes of nishimura riki
GENRE angst, 3rd party perspective
WARNING mutual breakup, mention of parental issues, riki has attachment issues, he’s also irrational but aren’t we all
W. COUNT 0.8k
S. NOTES why did i have so much fun writing this
to say riki considered you and heeseung his parents was an understatement.
he boy genuinely believed you were. so it's safe to say that when his heeseung hyung ( read: dad ) came home to their apartment late to their weekly boys' night and dropped the news, he was devastated.
“me and y/n broke up.“
riki could feel his whole world collapse, suddenly feeling ten again when his parents sat him down to tell him that his mum and dad were getting a divorce and dad was going to be moving back to his old city.
in hindsight, he should’ve consoled his hyung who didn’t look like he had just broken it off with his girlfriend of four years and the woman everyone believed he’d marry one day. he should've gone up to him like a good friend and given him a few words of comfort — maybe even a hug.
but instead, he felt anger. it was selfish, but he couldn’t realise his irrationality over the splitting feeling in his chest, and heeseung's reaction — or lack thereof — didn’t help but wedge a nail in the crack and hammer it down.
he couldn’t make out what the rest of their friends were saying, feeling all his senses suddenly muffle, giving his emotions nowhere to go but out, “what do you mean you broke up.”
the room suddenly felt colder. all their friends stopped talking and froze their gazes on him. seeing sunghoon from his peripheral, sending him a questioning look, but his vision tunnelled on the eldest, who was still standing near the entrance. “you can’t just break up, not now.”
confusion settled on the elder's face, overtly not expecting this reaction from him, “what do you mean i can't? it's my relationship, and we both ended it.”
riki was starting to feel antagonised, seeing faces look back and forth between him and the other, so he stood up in an attempt to size himself up, refusing to see the irrationality of his point. he felt like heeseung was being inconsiderate by breaking up something riki relied on without thinking of the others who'd be affected outside of the relationship.
everyone in their friend group was aware of his abnormal attachments, evident in the shirt he refuses to throw away because it was his father's, even if the fabric had more holes than not, or the two sizes too big shoes his sister gifted him, insisting he would ‘grow into them’ and now yours and heeseung's relationship.
healthy relationships weren't the norm in his life growing up, so by default, riki was hostile and withdrawn towards you the first few times heeseung introduced you as his new girlfriend. reminding himself constantly at the back of his mind that all relationships must come to an end and with every problem heeseung brought home, he was convinced it was near.
however, he must have underestimated you. one year became two, then four, and riki had become accustomed to his life with you. finding himself excited every time you’d come over whenever he was around because you had always seemed to favour him slightly, giving him the best meat cuts whenever you’d eat out together, or saving him the corner of the brownie because you knew it was his favourite part.
maybe it was silly to let you grow a home into the hole in his heart that was carved by his mother, seeking maternal comforts from you and allowing you to become a constant in his life.
but then again, all relationships have an end but riki wasn’t ready to let this one go. “so what? that’s it? you’re just going to end it here after everything?”
“look, it was a mutual breakup. we both just don't feel the same as we did before, so we broke it off like adults. i wish her all the best, just not with me.”
the split started to spread throughout his whole body, feeling his knees start to weaken under the weight of his emotions. when he started to feel his throat clog up and his eyes start to burn, he quickly made his escape, pushing past his hyung making sure to knock their shoulder on his way out to show he wasn't happy with the new change.
he could hear them discussing what happened after slamming his bedroom door, the thin walls leaving no word left unheard, drilling each question into his mind.
maybe then he should’ve left and apologised for his outburst, but grief is a funny feeling.
even though the relationship wasn’t his and never was to begin with, riki had gotten too comfortable living vicariously through you, and now he wanted someone to take responsibility for feelings only he could be blamed for.
but that’s another thing about grief. there’s always someone you want to pin the blame on. someone who caused this emotion to spiral and settle at the pit of his stomach without anywhere else to go leaving it to make itself home in his body.
and it wasn’t going to be him.

On Krypton, vows had meaning. Proclamations were not made lightly, and promises were not given casually. Kara’s peers wouldn’t throw one out as a reassurance, or to settle an argument. They were a logical people. They didn’t deceive, didn’t speak words they didn’t know to be true, and didn’t give opinions that were not informed. Society was ordered and regimented, and everyone put the greater good before themselves. So if you made a promise, no matter how great or how small, you would do it.
Kara learned, later in life, that a lot of her birth culture was, to use an English word that had no equivalent in her language, bullshit. Kryptonians would, she thought, claim that they had no use for such a vulgar term for cavalier prevarication because they did not practice it. That would had been a lie.
Her parents bullshitted her. They bullshitted her about the society she was growing up in. Her world wasn’t a real of perfect logic and order, it was a hidebound, decaying ex-empire that put tradition so irrationally high on a pedestal that they let their world be destroyed and all but a handful of their people wiped out because tradition said that her uncle was wrong about the planetary core going unstable.
Nevertheless, when Kara made a promise, she meant it. When she said she’d vowed to protect her adoptive home with her life, she meant it. Those words all but signed her life away in service to the cause. She was this way in everything, from saving the world down to brining Cat Grant a precisely prepared cup of coffee. Her promises meant something.
That was why she filled herself with dread the instant a promise, given unthinkingly in the heat of the moment, tumbled out of her mouth.
I will always be your friend, and I will always protect you.
She’d dishonored herself with the promise, one broken as it was made. She held Lena tight, speaking with conviction, and promised to be a friend even as she lied, swore to protect even as she deceived. It was a promise that couldn’t be kept no matter what she did.
Kara had become human in so many ways, and it gnawed at her. Another English word that had no exact Kryptonian equivalent was freedom. A proper Kryptonian would be horrified at ideas that boiled down to “I can do what I want”; I can choose my career, my partner, my life. I can put fulfillment ahead of the role chosen for me by those who know better. Yet Kara had embraced it full throated, making choices whenever she could.
The one thing she would never give up was the value of an oath.
She was over the Pacific, thinking. She would come out here from time to time to think and clear her head when the city soundscape became overwhelming, and just let herself drift in the air. There were no texts to agonize over, no emails from Snapper, nothing but herself and the lapping of waves and the distant rumble of storms over the open ocean.
She’d been coming out here more and more of late, not to think but to avoid thinking.
Because Lena knew, and Kara knew something was wrong. She could be dense about human behavior sometimes, but she was no fool… and she had super senses. She could read Lena’s pulse and see infrared flush of her skin and spot micro-movements of her eyes. Kara wanted desperately to believe that nothing was wrong but her instincts said otherwise.
When Kara told her, Lena had gone stock still and stared at her with what Kara thought was hatred, bringing tears. She’d tried to tell her how sorry she was, but Lena had just walked right past her and only later returned to her usual self.
Almost.
Kara had thrown herself into it, going on a campaign of what Alex had called ‘peacocking’ for some reason, all but burying Lena with super-stunts like fetching fresh pastries from French patissiers. Lena had smiled and thanked her but there was something flat and distant in it, and Kara ignored it and insisted that all was well.
Out here, with just the storms and her secrets, she knew it wasn’t.
Kara fingered the crest on her chest, worrying her thumb over the crimson fabric of the El rune. This meant something. It meant both ‘hope’ and ‘stronger together’; the two ideas were inextricably linked but her cousin only understood one of the meanings, because Kryptonian pictographic language was complex, and he was not Kryptonian in any way that mattered.
That was another great failing, a promise that Kara made but didn’t keep. By her people’s standards, there was no shame in that; one did not bear the responsibility of a promise made under duress, or a promise that others demanded knowing that it couldn’t be kept.
The only one she’d kept Kryptonian was herself, deep in a secret corner of her soul that meant it if she said she’d be at your birthday party or bring you a donut. The part that treated promises like promises.
There was only one way to cleanse herself, and remove her shame. She knew what it was, but she was afraid. Kara had battled monsters and gods, faced death more than once, lost more than any person should have to lose in a dozen lifetimes, but there was one thing she feared above all others.
She feared that first honest look on Lena’s shocked face more than she feared an eternity without stars. She could live in the void between realities; a void without Lena would kill her more surely than any green poison.
Now. She had to do it now, before she lost her nerve. She flew back to the city, flew hard, slowing only to land on Lena’s balcony, softly. As she raised her hand to knock on the glass of the door, she hesitated, nearly turned back.
Lena opened it, and Kara let out a slow breath. Lena was wearing only a loose, flowing floral robe, with clearly nothing beneath it. Terror made her listen- if Lena had a guest in that state, Kara might just fling herself into the sun and be done with it.
She was alone. Lena shifted on her feet.
“Why are you all wet?”
Kara’s hair was damp with sea spray and she’d flown through a few clouds on her way back.
“I like to fly over the ocean and think.”
“Well, come in here already. Let me get you a towel. Do you want something to change into?”
Kara swallowed hard. No. She wanted the honor of her family on her chest right now. She needed it to make her brave, like her father said it would when he sent her into the void. She did take the towel.
Lena had been enjoying her tea and sad breakfast -toast with jam- before Kara arrived. She left it on the counter and sat on her couch, leaving Kara to pace.
“I can tell you’re upset,” said Lena. “Tell me what’s wrong.”
“Everything,” said Kara. “I have a lot to say and I don’t know how to say it. I haven’t told you the full truth and I have to. I need to. It’s eating me alive inside.”
Lena swallowed hard, her heart racing.
“Please don’t tell me you’re Batman, too.”
“Lena, this is serious.”
Kara swept across the room and knelt in front of her, and Lena’s eyes shot open wide in surprise. Kara looked at the carpet in front of her, unable to look Lena in the eye.
“A long time ago, I promised you I’d always take care of you, and I didn’t. I was lying to you when I said it and I lied to you for years after.”
“Kara…”
“Please,” desperation choked her voice, “let me finish. I owe you the full truth. I promised, and promises are sacred to Kryptonians. My soul will be stained forever unless I fulfill the oath I made.”
“It wasn’t that big of a deal.”
“Yes it was,” said Kara. “It was to me. It was everything to me. Please.”
Lena cleared her throat. “Okay.”
“I told you I lied to you to protect you. That was another lie. That’s not why I did it. I lied because I was weak and I put my own feelings ahead of doing what was right. I was scared. I was scared that if you knew it would change how you saw me and it would change our relationship. You were the only person I could almost be myself with and I didn’t want that to change. You were a safe person I could go to without having to be Supergirl.”
Lena was studying her, a soft hint of skepticism in her expression.
Kara stood up and paced.
“I don’t know how to do this, Lena. I may act human and look human but I’m not. I grew up on another planet with another culture and so many things about this world are just totally different from how I was raised.”
Kara took a deep breath.
“On Krypton we didn’t have queerness. People didn’t value freedom of choice. You did what society told you to do. You joined the guild you were pledge to at birth and married the person you were told to marry and had the offspring you were told to have and raised them to do the same thing. The same fucking thing.”
Lena sat up at Kara’s sudden, vehement profanity.
“I didn’t know the word freedom until I arrived here. I had no concept of it. I had no idea how fragile and precious it is. Sure, I talked about it and wrote essays about it in school, but I didn’t get it. Not until I met you.”
Kara looked at Lena.
“You are my freedom. You’re the first thing I’ve ever chosen, really chosen, in my life, besides being Supergirl. It was you that made me look Cat Grant and Alex both in the eyes and say ‘no, this is what I want, this is how it’s going to be for me and it’s my choice, not yours.’ Back home I never, ever would have even thought what I’m about to say now.”
Kara swallowed, hard.
“I was afraid to tell you because I was afraid it would change our relationship. I was afraid you’d hate me because I kept the secret too long, but I was also afraid of what has to come after confessing my identity to you, Lena. The next part is even harder.”
“Kara,” Lena began.
“I have feelings for you.”
Lena went still, her eyes wide. “What did you say?”
“I want to be myself with you. My whole self, my real self. Not the person I think I have to be to please someone else. I want to tell you everything you want to know about my home and my people and my life and I want to know everything about you. I want to hear you laugh for me and see the look in your eyes when you’re happy to see me. I want to care for you when you’re sick and hold you when you’re sad and be the person that matters to you like you matter to me.”
Kara sucked in a deep breath.
“I used to think I was happy just being Kara with you. Not being Kara Danvers or Kara Zoe-El, just me… but I’m not me without both of those pieces and being without them isn’t good enough. I want you to know the real me. The girl from Krypton who went to high school in California.”
Lena stood up slowly, clearly forcing her breathing even. She adjusted her robe around herself, and looked at Kara for too long a time, silent.
“I hurt you when I promised I’d protect you and I’ll never forgive myself for that.”
“What do you want from me? To tell you it’s okay?” said Lena. “Is that what you want? Because it’s fucking not.”
Kara flinched. She opened her mouth, then closed it.
Lena had given her this courtesy and she’d give it in return.
“It wasn’t just you, Kara. I built my whole life around you and your friends and they became my friends. You gave me a normal world. I got to be a regular girl when I was with you and the others. Do you have any idea what that means to me? What you did to me when you ripped it away? Do you have any idea how you’ve torn me to shreds?”
Kara choked a little, and tried to hold back the tears, and failed.
“I killed Lex. I killed him and I hid his body, myself. I killed my brother for you. And the worst part is I’d do it again. If it was him or you I’d kill him again.”
Cold dread flooded through her.
“That was my fault. That was exactly the kind of thing that I should have protected you from, and I failed you." Kara's breath hitched as she bit back a sob. "I should go."
Lena moved quickly and grabbed her arm tight. "Don't you fucking dare leave. You can't just say those things to me and leave."
Kara's nostrils flared as she sucked in a big breath.
"Lex told me who you were as he was dying. He showed me."
Kara looked at her. "Oh."
"I started to hate you. I started to believe the things he said about you. And what happened then? You told me! You just blurted it out!"
Lena choked down a sob of her own, and something in Kara shattered. Tentatively, carefully, Kara pulled her into a gentle hug, and Lena let her.
"I don't know what to do anymore," Lena whispered into Kara's chest. "I've lost everything."
Kara held her closer, breathing the soft scent of her shower-damp hair.
"I don't know what to do either," Kara admitted. "I just knew I couldn't bear to lie to you again, even by omission. I'll go if you want."
"You're not leaving," said Lena. "I don't want you to go. Promise you won't leave me."
Kara shivered. "Lena…"
"Promise."
"I promise," Kara whispered.

Orion - #14 “I can’t believe you remembered.” I think Emily would remember the smallest details about the ones she’s closest to but gets surprised when someone does the same for her. Could really go any way! Could I just request some fluff for it though? Happy 200 followers! ❤️
Anon you are so so sososo right, ty for requesting <3 I’m so behind in finishing these but whatever I really loved the way this one turned out :) reader is down so bad (me)
Part of the 200 celebration
Word count: 0.9k
In all honesty, you don’t even know what makes you do it. It could be the crisp air, or the warm scent of just-baked pastries lifting your mood, making your shoulders go loose and light before you head to the BAU.
But really, you think it’s the coffee. Freshly brewed and bitterly dark; it reminds you of a pair of eyes ringed with thick lashes, wide under feathery bangs that dip into the crevice between manicured brows.
Just the thought of your coworker brings a heat to your body. You flush under your coat, hands clammy and warm as you reach the counter and order one coffee for you, one hot chocolate with extra cinnamon for Emily.
“And can I have two of those croissants?” You point to the pain au chocolates, thinking there’s no point in handing her a sweet drink without also getting anything to eat. Emily mentioned it a while back, when the two of you were on a stakeout. On cool fall mornings—any mornings, really, but especially those—she prefers a hot chocolate over a coffee, something sweet to give her that rush when the sun is just barely off the horizon. It wasn’t really surprising to hear—she has a sweet tooth to rival a young child’s. That said, you almost never see her with a cup in her hand; she comes in, almost every day, just a few minutes before what could be technically considered late.
You have a sinking suspicion that even if she did end up crossing the line one day, a pointed heel accidentally slipping over it, she’d be able to slither her way out of a reprimand, charming and sly. After all, it’s easy to fall prey to the entrancing curve of her lips, the half moons of her dimples gently digging their heels in ivory cheeks.
The yell of your name breaks you out of your unwarranted daydreams. You blink and find yourself back in the warm bakery, enveloped in the scent of sugar and coffee beans.
God, you need to stop thinking about her.
Which proves difficult when you’re carrying her an armful of breakfast, a smile tingling at the corners of your lips whenever you catch your name scrawled on her paper cup. Pressing the elevator buttons is a struggle, but it’s one you don’t mind as you rise up to the sixth floor and something far more interesting than paperwork.
It’s only when you approach yours and Emily’s joint desks that you remember the others. Morgan and Reid lounge in their chairs, bickering about something you’re sure is too early to bicker about. JJ seems to be locked in her own office, but your stomach preemptively twists in knots at the thought of them seeing the handoff, your hands empty of treats for them.
You inhale a deep breath and keep your eyes forward, not chancing a glance at anyone but Emily, who looks up with a smile when she sees you approach. Distantly, you think it’s unusual that she’s here so early, but the thought evaporates when her eyes brighten.
“Morning,” she says, and her voice is already smooth honey, warm and inviting as you approach. Her eyes drop to the cup holder in your hand, the paper bag gripped between your fingers. “Got anything for me in there?” She teases.
Oh, only if you knew.
“Actually I do,” you smile, irrationally proud at the way her brows lift in surprise. Finally reaching her desk, you set down the cup holder and loosen your grip on the paper bag. “Got you breakfast.” You say softly, almost hoping to keep the words between you and her.
Emily’s mouth parts. For a moment she stares, almost in shock, before regaining her composure.
“Thank you.” She says sincerely. Her eyes are piercing on yours, then trailing over your jaw and cheeks, in search of a reason, no doubt. “You didn’t have to.”
You hum, dropping your gaze before you confess your love. “Yeah, I know. Here,” you pluck out the heavier paper cup from its holder, “it’s hot chocolate.”
Emily’s smile turns incandescent. “It is?” She gasps softly, her pupils blown wide. Her irises turn to thin rings, her voice dulcet and warm, almost as sweet as the drink in her hand.
Your heart flutters.
“It is. You said you like hot chocolate in the mornings.” You say quietly. Somehow, the words sound like I love you. “Uh, thought it’d go well with the croissants,” you mumble, but Emily is still hung up on the chocolate.
“I can’t believe you remembered.” She whispers, her fingers tightening around the cup like it’s something precious.
You shrug and take the opportunity to shed your coat. Heat simmers under your skin, crawls up your jaw and to your ears. “You remember stuff about me all the time,” you say, taking your load and your coat over to your own desk. Pretending like it’s no big deal. Like you don’t want to get her hot chocolate every day, just to see the shine in her eyes.
Emily looks down. She chews on her lip as she pops open the lid, a flush spreading over her pale cheeks. You blink in surprise, thinking you’d imagined it, but the blush remains firm, staining her skin a soft, rosy pink.
“Oh, c’mon, hey.” A voice breaks through the silence. You distantly identify it as Morgan, but you’re too busy tracing the blush with your eyes. “None for us?” He asks; you’re not sure how serious he is.
Emily looks up. Her eyes meet yours, expectant. You look away and clear your throat, swallowing down butterflies as they rise from your stomach.
“Nope.”

Could I make one where Balwin's wife is pregnant but during childbirth she is surprised and it is not a single baby, if it is not 3 triplets and they are chubby and pink, what will be people's reaction?
♡ Sweet Surprise - King Baldwin x Reader ♡
♡ Fluff ♡
A/N: Hello Anon! Thank you for the request, I think that this was one of the ones that got deleted by the glitch a little while ago so I'm so sorry about that, but I'm glad you sent it back in so I could complete it! As always, this is based on the film Kingdom Of Heaven, not the real historical figures. Enjoy!
TW: Leprosy, Child Birth
It was exactly one month after the union between the king and queen of Jerusalem that y/n fell pregnant.
After many weeks of trying, it had finally happened.
The young couple were overjoyed, having exceeded all doubts about Baldwin’s fertility due to his illness. It was truely a blessing from the lord Himself and needless to say, the entire kingdom was of the same opinion.
As the months went on, the queen fell heavily pregant. More so than what was expected. This worried the physicians greatly, believing that there may be something wrong.
Y/n was confined to the royal chambers to preserve her health until labour.
Baldwin was destraught. Thinking irrationally, he believed that it had something to do with his disease.
His anxiety grew with each passing day, no matter how many times his queen consoled him and assured him that the situation was no fault of his own.
---------------------
And then, the day came.
The king was out overseeing the construction of a new church in the kingdom when a servant on the back of a large stallion sprinted up to the small group of officials.
“MY LORD MY LORD!” he shouted, leaping down from the horse, panting and tripping overhimself.
“Oh my, are you okay? What is going on?” Baldwin replied, his heart quickening at the thought of an emergency.
“My lord, its the queen, she is in labour!”
The king and the rest of the small party waisted no time in mounting their horses and cantering back to the castle as fast as possible.
When they arrived, Baldwin payed no attention to the pain that his body was in. He lept down from the horse, ignoring the surge of agony that shot through his lower body when his feet hit the ground.
He was the first into the castle and ascended the stairs to the royal chambers in no time.
Breathing heavely, he pushed open the doors with the last of his strength before falling to his knees.
Two maids immediately rushed to his side, helping their king to his feet.
“Y/n! Is she okay? Is the baby alright?!” he asked urgently, still panting heavily.
“Baldwin!” y/n called from the bed, “I am alright my love, come see!”.
As the kings vision cleared, the bed that held his wife came into view. As did the baby. And another baby? And another? In the queens arms lay three, healthy, chubby, pink babies who were all sleeping peacefully against their mothers body.
Baldwin gasped, a wide grin quickly spreading across his mask covered face.
The maids helped him to the bed, sitting him down carefully beside his wife.
“They are all healthy sweetheart, thats why my belly was so big! There was nothing wrong, I was just holding triplets!” y/n said, an equally wide smile on her face.
The young king was lost for words and overcome with nothing but pure joy.
“I- I cant believe it! This is the most amazing day of my life! Oh thank you lord!’’ Baldwin praised, his grin hidden by the mask.
He pressed his forehead against the top of his wifes head, squeezing his eyes shut.
“I cant believe this is happening! I have never been happier” he said, feeling tears of joy welling in his eyes.
Y/n chuckled, “neither can I darling. And I thought we were blessed with one, but THREE!”
Baldwin opened his eyes to look down at his children.
Each one was plump and healthy. Their arorable faces melted his heart.
“There are two boys and one girl” the queen said softly.
“Would you like to hold them?” she asked.
Baldwin thought for a moment, “I dont know if that is a good idea, what if they get sick? I couldnt live with myself if-”
“Darling” y/n cut him off gently.
“It will be okay. You are clothed and you are wearing your mask. Nothing will happen I can assure you. Allow yourself this moment, you deserve it” she told him with a smile.
He took a deep breath before nodding, leaning against the headboard of the bed and holding out his arms.
One by one, y/n carefully placed each tiny bundle of life in his arms.
Two of them stayed in peaceful sleep but ones eyes opened slowly. It was one of the boys. He did not cry like many babies would, he simply yawned and looked up at his father with big blue eyes. Big blue eyes, just like Baldwin’s.
The kings heart swelled with joy and happiness again at the sight of his son. His own son.
“Oh my love look!, he has your eyes” y/n cooed, looking at the adorable little boy in her husbands arms.
“Yes, he does!” Baldwin’s own eyes welled with tears at the sight and he fought back a broken sob.
Noticing his tear filled eyes, y/n placed a hand on her husband’s shoulder.
“Are you okay darling? Whats wrong?” she asked, suddenly worried.
“I’m alright my love. I’m just so happy, I never thought this day would come. Theyre so perfect, youre so perfect. Thank you y/n- I love you so much”
He tried his best to prevent tears from running down his cheeks, but when the chubby little boy in his arms smiled up at his fathers masked face, he could not fight it.
Y/n wrapped an arm around Baldwin’s shoulders and pulled him closer to her.
“You deserve this happiness sweetheart. I love you, and our family is, and will be, perfect” she kissed her husband's cheek and layed her head on his shoulder.
The king nodded, a small smile returning to his face.
He felt like the happiest man alive, and he knew that as long as he had these children and y/n in his life, he would stay that way for all eternity.

Wanda Maximoff x F!R
Wanda tries to tell you what to do after a long day of work, so you put her in her place | WC: 1,722
Smut: Mommy (R) | Brat / Pillow Princess Wanda | Nipple Clamps / Vibe / Masturbation / Fingering / Oral-Face-Riding (W) | Overstimulation | Orgasm Denial | 🤏🏼 Fingering (R)
18+ | Minors DNI
Wanda was panting, the way she always did when you had her ready to tip over the edge. This time though there was an underlying tension, and that was because instead of fucking her senseless you simply observed.
The brunette was needy and borderline aggressive with her words when you got home from work, exhausted.
"You left me a mess this morning, so fix it mommy!"
——
Truthfully, she should be thankful you hadn't tossed her across the bed and made her cheeks bright red.
No, instead you told her to use her own fingers and as good as they were, something you knew intimately, it was just never the same for her after finding yours.
Her attraction to you actually stemmed from watching you play a game of table tennis with Natasha, the way you gripped the paddle and curled and uncurled your fingers in brief moments of rest unlocked her desire.
Now the woman loved you more than life itself, but in this moment she likened you to the devil herself with the way you left her to build an orgasm up all alone.
"Mommy please," she cried—on the edge of something miraculous, but then you crushed her hopes. "Stop."
"Wh-what?" Wanda kept going, her slick fingers defiant in their race to send her crashing into bliss.
You tutted, "careful now baby, or I won't be nice."
Wanda whined but did as you said, bringing her fingers to a standstill as you slowly approached the bed, your left hand fell to her knee to push her legs out even wider, her other leg having naturally followed.
"I knew my good girl was in there somewhere," you teased the woman who merely mewled as she felt her walls flutter in desperation around her stilled fingers. "Now take your fingers out for mommy; don't pout."
Wanda, reluctantly, removed her fingers and went to lay them against her tensed stomach but you caught her wrist and seamlessly slipped the delicacy into your mouth as your own fingers replaced hers in an instant.
"Oh."
It was too much for her, to feel you ruthlessly jab into her g-spot after every slow, calculated thrust all while you tenderly licked her own fingers clean; she came.
While your eyes darkened hers widened in fear, it was a rookie mistake to forget to ask you, but it was like you were jonesing for her to make another one. There was a domineering glint in your eyes to confirm that.
You released her fingers with a pop, and sneered, "It looks like someone forgot her house training, hm?"
"I'm sorry," she whimpered, her hands reaching out to try and pull you in for a kiss meant to distract, but unlike her you weren't prone to bouts of irrationality.
"No matter," you decided, voice too calm for her to believe you would let this go, you never did before. "You'll ride mommy's face until you're collapsing."
There it was... Wanda's favorite worst nightmare.
"Help mommy undress," you commanded, uncaring that she was still coming down from her high and likely preparing to beg you for another punishment. One that didn't require her to once again, do most of the work.
Her favorite punishment, as she was indeed a masochist, was for you to fuck her well into the double digits. To leave her pussy numbed, raw and red. Those nights are usually because some idiot hits on her and instead of leaning into the well known knowledge that Wanda would never leave you, you let the jealousy win.
If only that were the case of tonight's events...
After a moment of recollecting herself Wanda was perched up on her knees, shakily as she adjusted to being upright in her current hazed state. Just as soon as she got your suit jacket off you laid your hands on her hips to stabilize her, above all else you cared deeply for your girlfriend's safety. No accidental bruises would ever mar her incredibly soft, sun-kissed skin, only the freckles that reflected a day spent by the pool and your calculated imprints as you yanked her into a kiss.
It was just as she finished unbuttoning your polo, it had slipped off your shoulders and hung off your back as you chose to break the momentum. Or at least you tried to, you were sloppy and rather rough but she still managed to unzip your pencil skirt and push it down.
In a natural fashion she leaned into the affection, and it was then that you abruptly ended the lip lock. A soft whine of protest begged to leave her throat but you watched the muscle bob as she swiftly swallowed it.
"Get your clamps," you mumbled against her cheek with a smirk as she froze. "The one with the chain."
Wanda obediently entered your walk in closet to collect the toy you'd requested, along with the bullet vibe as you called in after her as you were lying down to wait.
There was a subtle shake in her legs that you caught as she nervously approached, her knees pressed to the end of the mattress and in seconds she was straddling your thighs, waiting patiently for your next command.
Wordlessly you kneaded her perky breasts, giving her that warm, comforting touch she craved before you let the cold metal snap around her sensitive nipples. As a stability test you yanked on the chain and chuckled as she moaned, her hot breath fanning over your face.
"Don't play games now baby," you warned her, the octave drop in your tone made her squirm in need. "Mommy knows your limits, so don't try to fake it."
Wanda nodded dumbly, her easy submission was something you found endearing. So naturally, you pecked her lips gently before going back to stern.
There was no point in delaying the inevitable, so the woman shimmied the rest of her way up your body until you were in control of the pace. You gripped her by the hips and situated her body so that her cunt hovered directly over your mouth, then you pulled her down and slid your hands down to hold her thighs.
In moments like these you knew Wanda worried that she would suffocate you with her chubby thighs, but you never shared in her concern. Not only were you once a competitive swimmer, so you were trained to hold your breath, but you didn't mind the challenge.
If the choice was between breathing and munching you would always pick the latter as it brought you more joy.
The more she moaned, your name leaving her lips like a saccharine prayer, the less you needed to breathe. There was no scientific explanation, but all you knew was Wanda was a temptation you'd always give in to.
It was like you had extra oxygen reserved for the moments where you'd bury yourself in her for minutes on end. Nothing but the slurping of your mouth could be heard, not even tiny gasps of air from either of you.
"I-I'm close," she pointlessly whispered, it was clear as you found it near impossible to move your tongue in and out of her constricting hole, if not for her slick that was so abundant it dripped down onto your chest you would never have been able to finish her off so fast.
Wanda's body slumped forward, face smushed into the headboard as she tried to breathe through her orgasm. Which was damn near impossible as you forced her body back upright and growled against her sensitivity, "Don't start misbehaving now honey, ride my face!"
This time your hands on her hip were merely there to keep her upright, no longer did you guide her body. Wanda whined in various ways, most pleasurable but a handful were in protest to your cruel expectations.
Keeping her hips in sync with your vivacious tongue was no easy feat and she was already tired as it was. There was no end to the torture either as you made her cum three more times, alternating between using your mouth to stimulate her clit and the powerful vibrator.
"N-no more," Wanda cried, "mommy please, 'm sorry."
"One more," you refused to relent, knowing she was so close to falling apart in the way you admired the most.
Wanda cried but obeyed, shakily rocking her body and letting you know with her pornographic moans that the pleasure well outweighed the suffering she proclaimed with her pleaded protests for reprieve. Truthfully, she hated having to do all of the work, so for the last few seconds before her release you guided her by the hips and yanked on the forgotten about nipple clamps.
The brunette completed her task as she crumbled into the headboard a panting mess, and she remained just like that for several moments before you bit her thigh. A reminder to let you breathe, worried green eyes gazed down as she shimmied back and you shook your head with a gentle smile and adoring eyes. "Kisses?"
Wanda beamed at the offer and immediately laid her body atop of yours and kissed you passionately. A filthy feeling overcame her as she tasted her arousal and you felt her excitement with the way her tongue traced over your lips and even briefly dipped down onto your chin.
Several minutes passed as you were lost in the softer intimacy until you felt her chest shake against yours. You rolled your eyes behind your lids before ending the lip-lock, sticking to your conviction to ensure she took a breath even when she whimpered and tried again.
"Lay down," you softly said and she did so easily, almost as if she realized later than you how tired she was. Both of your eyes closed and peace settled in.
A soft voice broke the tranquility, "what about you?"
"You don't have to baby," you reminded your lover who had already snuggled atop of you, but she persisted on stubbornly as her lips pressed to your neck and her hand roamed over your side en route to your core.
"I want to mommy," her fingers had entered you with conviction, but the pleasurable movement she offered died down within seconds. A soft chuckle left you as you caught her calm face, "such a pillow princess..."

𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄
𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭: 𝟔
Click here to read the first part.
Summary: You and Soldier Boy want to create a family and move on from everything, even the Vought, but you also know that he has to face Homelander one last time to keep his vow to Butcher. However, nothing turns out as you had hoped.
Pairing: Soldier Boy / Reader
Warnings: Heavy angst, hurt, language, memory loss, reader is hurt and confused, angst, Soldier Boy is harsh
Word Count: 5394
A/N: English is not my first language.
This is inspired by the song 'Remembrance' by Memoria Futuri.༊
You could feel Soldier Boy's arms holding you tightly, and you made an effort to free yourself, only to find that the harder you fought, the tighter he held you. Eventually, you let out a painful moan as you felt his powerful, frightening grip around your lower abdomen.
“Hey,” you said in a restless tone, swiftly rubbing your palm on your stomach to wake him up. “You're hurting me.”
He gave off a sound like a groan and said something that was incomprehensible. You firmly said, “Fuck, you're going to kill me here if you don't loosen your hands right now,” while he forced your body to press against his. “I mean it.”
Regaining wakefulness and eventually opening his eyes, Soldier Boy released his grip a bit on you. “What happened?”
You rubbed your arms and belly with agony and moans while he stretched his muscles and rubbed his sleepy eyes in between grumblings.
“You held me far too firmly. That hurt,” you replied, turning to face him while you raised your shirt to see the damage. There, it was somewhat reddish. You looked like you'd been slapped by him there. You give him a sour look and draw attention to the skin marks on your body. “Look what you have done.”
When he finally woke up, his thick fingers gently stroked your tummy, and he whispered a curse.
He apologized, “Fuck, sorry,” but he prevented you from getting up.
You said in a sarcastic voice, “Do you usually wake me up like this?” out of curiosity. You worried if he had ever injured you before without knowing anything about the background of your relationship.
“On occasion,” he said with a mischievous grin. “But of course, I don't do it on purpose.”
“I have to be insane to be with a supe,” you muttered in disbelief. You questioned your irrationality in taking such a risk with your life. It was well known that supes sometimes killed their partners behind closed doors or in different circumstances.
With a playfully “Hey,” he embraced you, and you felt the warmth of his chest behind your back. It was heartwarming, and he felt safe. “You enjoyed every moment of it. All I can say is that you were really enthusiastic and energetic, though you can't recall. Yet.”
You remarked, half-joking, half-hurt. “I'm sure just because I don't remember a single thing, you're making things up.” He was making statements as though he was talking about someone else entirely, like an ex-lover. You were taken aback by how comfortable you felt with him in just one day, as if you were deeply connected. If he was being honest with you, your skin and body had memories of their own to justify him.
He inquired, “What happened?” after noticing your abrupt expression change.
You said, “Nothing,” not wanting to put in too much effort because your headache persisted. It was all truly complicated.
“Are you still unable to remember anything? Concerning us or another thing?” When Soldier Boy noticed you had become lost in thoughts, he queried with suspicion.
“No.”
His facial expressions have altered, and he is now staring at you irritated. He didn't inquire about it, even though it seemed like you didn't want to remember anything at all. He was aware of your efforts, and he knew it was just too much for you. Yet he believed you also had to understand him. It wasn't easy for him either in that situation. He was missing you.
“All right,” he sighed. “Get ready so we can go to the doctor. I'll make sure to it that you are well taken care of, okay?”
You nodded to him and quickly showered while he got dressed. You also had to confront Butcher and others, but you'll discuss this matter with another doctor first. Since Soldier Boy had sensitive nerves and you didn't believe that he wouldn't intentionally or unintentionally harm you, However, you didn't want to get into a fight with him anyway. You wondered what he was like and the nature of the relationship you had with him some months prior. It was all so surreal that it was difficult to believe. You questioned if you really loved him or whether he really loved you.
You looked at Soldier Boy as he adjusted his belt and put on his gloves, right after you had put on whatever you had found in the home. His messy hair gave him a savage and very attractive appearance. He smiled at you genuinely once he saw you were staring at him.
It wasn't bothersome, but he said in an arrogant manner, “Enjoying the view?”
“I'm just waiting for you to suit up already. You're taking too long,” you said playfully as you kept watching him.
“Oh, yeah? It's an old attitude.” When he was finally done, he blinked at you. “Guess we're both ready to go, huh?”
“Well, yes,” you said, taking one final glance around the room as though you would be staying here with him forever, even though it didn't seem that way.
When you got in the car, you two were silent. Soldier Boy kept checking on you, which should have helped you feel a little better, but you were restless and uncomfortable. You called Butcher over and over, but he never answered, which made you feel awful and as though you were being ignored.
His actions proved Soldier Boy was the one to tell you the whole truth. You would have preferred it if Butcher had once been honest with you, but perhaps this is best for you. You believed that you were getting close or something. He was like a big brother to you after all. You were obviously wrong.
“He's not returning your calls, right?” With his gaze fixed on the road, Soldier Boy posed a sharp question.
“No.”
You spoke in an attempt to appear calm, but it was clear that you were lost and heartbroken. You had no option but to believe what Soldier Boy told you about him, about you, about everything. Butcher had abandoned you.
Saying, “I told you he's a coward and a liar. He won't tell you anything, and he will continue to tell you lies even if you manage to track him down. He is a fucking liar; that much is true.” Soldier Boy gave you a serious look, as if he wanted you to believe whatever he said. Word by word.
You murmured, “We can talk about such things later,” not wanting to discuss the difficult situation any more.
Soldier Boy angrily replied, “Don't you tell me you still trust him.” He was so ready for another fight.
“I won't say that I think highly of him, nor do I still trust him fully. He clearly told me bullshit about a few topics. However, you have to understand that I am unable to totally trust you as well.” You tried not to seem hostile as you added, “I don't even know you,” but you could feel the tension in the air rising as he inhaled deeply.
He questioned, frustrated. “What's wrong with you?” Soldier Boy hated Butcher more than anything. “God knows how long you've been asleep or he's telling you lies with others, but you still say you can't trust me as well.”
Soldier Boy struggled to control his tone, not wanting to frighten you away or anything, but it was difficult for him to be informed you didn't trust him. As though he were just another man, like Butcher and the rest.
“Why are you even upset with me? Since you are aware of the complete truth and my pals have lied to me, it is simple to look from your side. I have no idea what's happening at all.”
He glanced at you briefly, but he continued driving without changing his face. You felt that he was treating you a little worse than he had been the night before, but you weren't sure why. It shouldn't have hurt because you didn't know him, yet it still crushed your heart in a strange way.
As if he would act differently if only you were different too.
He said emphatically, “I'm not angry. It's simply annoying that you're telling me you don't believe me but continuing to hold out hope for Butcher and demand an explanation.”
“Why is it wrong to wait for an explanation? I'm curious what he's going to say, and it's okay to be cautious of strangers, but he needs to tell me the truth, or at the very least acknowledge that he lied to my face teaming up with the rest of the others, because I now know his lies. Even though I genuinely appreciate your concern, you should be understanding of my situation rather than being selfish.”
You would have liked to know the truth about what transpired between them so you could know why Soldier Boy was so outraged with him. You were certain he would kill Butcher instantly, without hesitation.
“Fuck that! Am I now being self-centered?” He gave you an angry expression as he inquired in a harsh tone, “Is it okay to give a fucking hand job to a stranger?”
He was behaving as though it was all your fault. Despite your best efforts to remain composed, his attitude scared you a little. You questioned whether this was how he treated you always.
Your face heated while you attempted to push the memories of yesterday from your thoughts. Your fingertips grazed the hard surface of the seat while you searched for an answer to his bold question.
“It was an instinct for survival lets say. You're a..strong supe, and I couldn't fight you after all. Why are you even talking about this right now?” With a mumble, you hoped that soon enough the two of you would forget your private moment.
“Oh god,” he whispered. He didn't seem at all pleased with your response. “Are you fucking telling me you'd do the same if it was another supe on top of you?”
As the images filled his mind, you being with another Supe, he made an angry noise, trying to empty his mind. He'd kill whomever tried to lay a hand on you. You both were lucky he recognised your voice yesterday.
You said, “I don't know.” You had no idea what would happen if it turned out to be someone else, not him, just another Supe. As you saw him get irate and clench his fingers on the steer, you said, “But no one would kiss me right away like you did, right?” That sounded as genuine as you had hoped it would. It was sincere. You had no idea what possessed you to give him that quick kiss back without even thinking twice. Perhaps it was meant to be.
He only murmured, “I'd kill them.” Then he grasped your hand in his, realizing you were gone silent. “Hey, I'm just...” To figure out just what to say, he took a deep breath. “I understand that it's terrifying for you, and it's just too much. Yet even if it doesn't seem rational, I need your faith. I need you to trust me in this.”
You said, “I don't get it,” unsure of what step to take. Your eyes wandered helplessly to your phone. That might be a little bit simpler if Butcher spoke to you, but Soldier Boy detested Butcher so much that he believed Butcher would immediately start telling you more lies the moment he opened his lips.
“I know, baby. I know,” he said, attempting to block out the thoughts of Butcher's crap. For everything he did, he vowed to murder Butcher.
In a quiet voice, you asked, “Are you always like this?” wanting to know more about his personality. About you in the past.
He looked perplexed and scowled. “Like what?”
“Just like this,” you urged. “Angry and on edge.”
His mouth dropped open in protest at what you'd just stated. It was true that he appeared a little tense and maybe even a little too aggressive. But you had nothing to do with any of the negative feelings he was going through. “No, of course not.”
He looked at you with real regret, and you sighed. He was giving you the truth, and you could tell by the way he looked at you. But these days, it was difficult to trust anyone. However, it was also difficult to ignore the need to rely on someone.
“I think you would behave differently.” Finally, you mumbled to him what was really worrying you: “If only I remembered everything.”
You were right, and Soldier Boy didn't say anything for a while—possibly even unaware of his attitude toward you. You sensed that every second passing was making you two more and more apart, yet you were so close to reconnecting.
You said, “Am I right?” expecting him to say no.
He managed to reply in a stern voice, “You're not,” and went on, “Like I've told you before, it's not about you. It's true that I feel a little...tense, but I most often do, even with you. You simply can't recall anything about us. That has to be the cause of your feelings.”
“You mean that I'm constantly welcoming of you in this way? Am I really that obedient and docile?” you questioned, startled. It was hard to imagine you were a scaredy little cat around him, putting up with his rage all day and night.
“You're simply misinterpreting us at this moment, sweetheart,” he stated, grinning heartily at you. “You know, it would be so much easier if you could only remember just one memory of us, so that it would be a lot easier for you to grasp our dynamic.”
“I still think I must be a dumb being with a supe.”
“Anways,” grumbled Soldier Boy. Right now, things seemed a little bleak for you. It's true that you seemed like a new person. That's when he understood how much he really did miss you and needed you back. It hurt so much to miss you and your memories. He would make sure to it that the doctors do the best they could to get you back to him. He didn't even want to imagine if nothing worked.
He remained silent for a considerable time after that, and you were becoming more apart. The abrupt coldness in his attitude toward you made you feel restless and uncomfortable. It was true that you wanted to learn more about Soldier Boy and find out about your former relationship with him, but you also didn't want to trust him until you spoke with Butcher and the others. Either you had genuinely loved him, or you had to have an appropriate explanation for being with him.
None of them mattered; perhaps your connection with him wasn't as awful as you thought it would be, or perhaps you were too blind to recognize his true cruelty and mercilessness while you were with him. All you had to do, if it was possible, was know the truth and get to know him again. You questioned if you truly had loved him in the past and whether you could love him again. It wasn't like you were completely against the idea or something.
You gaped in distaste looking at the massive Vought Tower as Soldier Boy brought the car to a stop. That terrifying structure was the source of rage that one could never forget. It was filled with demons in masks who thought of themselves as heroes.
“Hey, you okay?” You inhaled deeply as Soldier Boy asked you in a concerned tone.
“Yes," you mumbled. “I just don't like this place.”
“Come on. We won't be spending the most of our time in this place. We are coming to visit a doctor—a legitimate, real one. Just like you deserve.” As soon as he heard your heartbeat quickening and worry taking hold of you, he wanted to comfort and encourage you.
“Okay,” you said, feeling a little relieved as he smiled at you genuinely.
When you entered the elevator, you whispered, “Is Homelander here?”
He listened to his surroundings for a while and said, “Yes.”
You shivered as a wave of worry and nervousness washed over you when you thought of Homelander. Homelander was something you could never forget, even if you bashed your head until your skull broke. You didn't want to be in the same room as him because he was the most vile and vicious person that has ever lived.
Soldier Boy stroked your arms and placed his gloved hand behind your neck when he saw your uneasy demeanor and the change in your breathing. “Hey. Nobody could or would risk hurting you. Particularly him, especially him.”
You knew Homelander, but you wanted to put your faith in Soldier Boy and feel at peace. No one could ever stop Homelander when he intended to hurt someone, and you had doubts about Soldier Boy's full strength. Their power dynamics were foreign to you.
You couldn't even move to nod at him as you wanted to. You just had a sour expression on your face, as if you were willing to embrace anything he said.
You placed your hands on his to express your gratitude and your faith, whispering, “I want to believe you.”
Soldier Boy planted a kiss on your forehead and said, “Then believe me,” with confidence. It was such a lovely moment that a thrill and a hint of crave surged through your veins. In a moment, a tiny piece of hope filled your heart; maybe he could fall in love with this version of you. After all, you were you. If you were genuinely loved, memories shouldn't matter all that much as long as the same emotions persisted in his heart.
When he saw that you were staring at him intensely and with a faint smile on your lips, he seemed confused. Knowing that you were in a relationship yet feeling both too close and too far away was insane. At that little, genuine moment you two had, he should have had the same thought. That would be a good memory too between you and him.
At last, Soldier Boy murmured, “Okay, let's go,” releasing his hold on the skin while still holding your hand.
As soon as you and Soldier Boy entered the large white room, you took a deep breath to calm yourself. To cheer you up, he offered your hand a small, determined squeeze.
When Soldier Boy called upon the doctor across the room, who was absorbed in his thoughts and studying the paperwork, he smiled warmly at you.
The doctor shook hands with Soldier Boy, saying, “It's good to see you see you in person, Soldier Boy, and I guess you are..”
You shook hands and said your name to him. You looked like a toddler whose parents had forcibly taken her to the hospital. That wasn't all that different, really.
Before he could ask any questions, Soldier Boy interrupted, “Yeah, she's the one we talked about on the phone.” He must have spoken with him when you were taking a shower or changing your clothes. You thought it would be simply an ordinary check, but you didn't trust the doctor because he worked for Vought after all.
You were led into the doctor's room and seated, your fingertips twitching uncomfortably on the chair. Even though Soldier Boy was gently playing with your hair to console you, you were still feeling worried and uncertain.
He waited for you to respond before asking, “So, is it true that you're not remembering a single thing that happened in the twelve months?”
“Yes,” you answered right away.
“Alright,” he said without disputing the preciseness of the time. “So, what specific events do you recall having happened to you? What did you last recall before the incident?”
When Soldier Boy waited on foot, you could feel his concentrated gaze on your shoulder and the trail of his fingers on your back, but you tried not to look at him.
The doctor responded, “You can take your time,” as if he was trying to calm you down.
You forced your memory again, even though you were suffering from a headache, but the pictures remained the same. You just didn't want to.
You began, “I was...” but you refrained from giving any specifics about Translucent. “I was with Hughie, a friend of mine.”
“How did you spend the time with him? Are you able to think about the specifics?” he repeated quietly. You wanted him not to ask you anything at all.
What are you meant to say? That you were torturing Translucent in an attempt to get him to talk. Telling a Vought doctor about this would be problematic.
You lied and said, “I don't...remember exactly.” You hoped that Soldier Boy wouldn't pressure you to reveal everything. “We were just spending time, and then I guess hit my head somewhere.”
Your lie made Soldier Boy tense, but he didn't break off to avoid creating a scene or placing you in an awkward position. You wouldn't dare to... Fuck, he didn't even want to picture you with that dumb son of a bitch. Fuck.
The doctor finally remarked, “I see. How long has it been since you lost your memories?”
“Three months, I guess,” you said, hoping that what Butcher had told you about the period you had been asleep was accurate at least. You have slept for literally months, but you weren't sure if you should provide him with more information. Since it didn't seem essential, you chose to merely give the information the doctor needed. The whole story did not need to be told.
“It's been months, and you still don't remember a single thing?”
“No," you politely said. "Not at all.”
“Is there a way to bring her memories back?” Soldier Boy took the seat in front of you and asked immediately.
The doctor said, “I...cannot promise such a thing I'm afraid,” and then he looked at you sadly. You kind of feel at ease, though you're not sure why.
“What do you mean you can't promise? What the fuck? You work at Vought and are a supe doctor. You're not being paid for doing anything at all.”
The doctor tried to explain, saying, “It's hard to bring back memories like that; naturally. However, her circumstances won't even present a difficulty. She is quite fortunate.”
“What do you mean?” Soldier Boy questioned suspiciously, feeling a little more at ease now, hoping that the doctor would provide some helpful guidance.
“A supe woman called Cate came to see me a few hours ago regarding her injuries. As I treated to her arm, she briefly informed me about her powers. Life is strange. Cate told me she could play with memories, that she could even bring them back, among other things.”
“Are you absofuckinglutely sure?” When the doctor continued to give Soldier Boy more facts about her, his eyes became wide with excitement and in disbelief.
You should have been thrilled about it, but instead you felt quite uncomfortable and worried. You didn't want someone to forcefully retrieve your forgotten memories from your brain through mind games. You knew this wasn't what you wanted right now, even though it was a weak excuse. You would never allow a stranger to play with your memories in that way.
Your heart broke seeing Soldier Boy's delighted face and hearing him ask the doctor many questions. Even though he was now just another stranger to you, you could still sense and know he was important. You would have injected a virus into his body yesterday with Butcher's order before you even met him. Still, a lot has happened since yesterday.
In one day, you had created a lot of memories with Soldier Boy, and they were now special to you two; they were no longer about your former self. You were the real one, this time. You felt lost when you saw him becoming enthusiastic about it as if he was finally ready to meet his true love, even though you knew it was foolish to think this way. Wouldn't he love you like this?
“As far as I've learned, Homelander signed her missions, and unfortunately I don't know her contact number,” said the doctor. “But I think Homelander would tell you where she is.”
"All right, that's good," said Soldier Boy. You felt horrible to hear how relieved he sounded. You were terrified to say a single word because you knew he would get frustrated if you informed him that you didn't want your memories to come back to you in this state.
You and Soldier Boy left the doctor's office after expressing your gratitude.
You exclaimed, “I'm starving,” as soon as you entered the elevator, preventing him from mentioning Cate and talking about bringing your memories. “Can we eat something?”
He said, “Sure,” and you felt your heart melt with his smile.
Soldier Boy played with the small necklace around your throat and gave you a serious expression. “I sensed that you were lying in there, by the way, when he asked you what you were doing with that stupid face, Hughie, before you lost your memories,” he said.
You spoke fast so he wouldn't start making up scenarios about Hughie and you. “Butcher had kidnapped a member of the Seven, and he was torturing him in his own ways to get him to talk about how to kill a supe,” you said. It was irresponsible and dumb. “I couldn't tell it to him, and it didn't seem important.”
He said, “Hmm,” happy that he wasn't going to hear something unpleasant. You were always his; he knew it. It was difficult to picture you assisting Butcher in his abduction of a supe. That jerk forced you to take several foolish and dangerous risks.
You could see that the doctor's advice about bringing your memories to light was the reason he was feeling more at ease, even as his fingers continued to gently trace around your neck.
“I keep wondering what happened to the ring I gave you,” he said. “Maybe we can also find out this.”
Your heart melted with thrill and sorrow at the thought of the ring.
You looked at your empty finger and whispered gently, “I don't know what happened to it. There was no ring on my finger when I woke up.”
Soldier Boy's whisper was rough, “They must have taken it,” and his posture stiffened.
You softly asked, “Did I like it?” to ease the tension. “The ring that you bought for me.”
He smiled weakly at you and said with a hint of pride, “Yeah, very much. With the help of that Supe the doctor talked about, Cate, we can also learn where your ring is, huh?”
The tiny smile that was on your lips vanished as he spoke about reliving your memories. You said, “We could just buy another one. Maybe it's just lost, and I'd like a different one.”
He firmly answered, “No,” not really interested in what you were proposing. “It was a nice one. You have no idea how hard I searched for that ring. We can definitely find it. It must have been taken by someone.”
He grasped your hand when the elevator stopped, and you were at a loss for words when it came to telling him how you felt. He was clearly expressing how much he didn't want this you. You followed him heartbroken.
As soon as you walked inside his room, you were astounded by how large and cozy the furnishings were. You were unaware that Vought Tower offered rooms like that. Tired, you stared out the window at the entire city as Soldier Boy ordered a meal for both of you. Up top, the view was incredible.
When your desperate eyes scanned the crowds, you turned to Soldier Boy. “After we have our meal, I'll find that Cate and everything will be solved,” he stated, putting his phone back into his pocket.
You leaned in closer to him and said, “I think we need to talk about this.”
While he waited for you to continue, he frowned. That was going to be difficult.
Nervous of his attitude, you managed to mumble in a low voice, “I just don't want someone to play with my memories and bring them back so suddenly.”
He was puzzled by your idea and said, “What the hell do you mean now?”
You asked in a panicked manner, “Why are you insisting so much? Everything is happening so quickly that I'm unable to keep up with it. I don't want my thoughts and memories to be played with.”
Soldier Boy approached you cautiously and confidently stroked your cheeks while maintaining a harsh expression.
“You can't even recall a single detail about me, you, or us since you fucking lost the last year of your life. Everything's going to be alright when your memories return. What makes you so afraid of?” he asked quietly, although it was obvious that he was growing frustrated.
Just saying, “I don't want it now,” You wanted to spend time with him in this way, to live the memories you couldn't remember, to create new memories with him, and to discover whether or not the thing between you was real. You weren't sure why your thoughts had changed so suddenly.
“Even if you don't want it now, I'll find Cate, and you'll get your memories back. End of discussion. You will thank me for it once you remember us again, sweetie,” he continued, deliberately implying that he would make you do it even against your choice.
You mumbled, “You can't force me.”
“Well, I think I can,” he said confidently. “Don't you see, I miss you.”
You were heartbroken by the way he sounded, as if he were trying to reach out to you, but you were lost in what he was saying, and it was as if he was talking entirely about someone else.
You asked unexpectedly in a whisper, “Can't you love me like this?” You had to know what he was thinking about you, even if you had no idea where it had come from. “Since yesterday, we created some nice memories. Aren't they good enough for now?”
When Soldier Boy saw you like this, like you were lost, he grimaced.
“You simply feel afraid to learn the entire truth, and you're just confused.” He continued in a cold voice, “You are still you,” but this time you didn't trust him.
“No,” you protested, unable to control your tearing eyes. “Everything will change, even me. You make statements as though you were talking about someone else. You didn't respond to my question, If I remain this way, wouldn't you still be able to love me even if I lost all memory of the past?”
With a hopeful expression on your face, you waited for him to agree that things hadn't come back to you so rapidly. He was right to say that you were afraid; while you anxiously awaited his response, your heart raced with both hope and sorrow. After being abandoned by Butcher and the others, you were also rejected by him. You really did feel afraid.
He frowned and said, “Do you even remember my name?” ignoring the question you asked.
You opened your mouth to answer him, shocked as you were, but you had absolutely no idea what to say. You forced your mind to recall even though you had a burning headache. You must have previously addressed him by name a thousand times, so you were only waiting for a memory to emerge.
As he observed your struggles, Soldier Boy scowled and repeated in a harsh tone, “Do you?”
At last, you said, “No,” embarrassed that you couldn't recall his name. You were unaware that, up until now, you had never addressed him by name. Not even once.
You felt your heart shattered into a million pieces as he sent you a sharp and disappointed look. You knew then that you were strangers with a past after all. He hadn't fallen in love with you. It was your memories that made everything special.
“Then my answer is no.”

Cassandra
Pairing: wolfstar x fem!reader
Summary: You get upset when Sirius flirts with someone else. You get into a fight. You make up.
Warnings: 18+, SMUT (threesome, slight dom!Remus), little bit of angst, arguing, readers exit gets blocked briefly
You were pissed.
Deep down, you knew you were overreacting, but you were still pissed.
You knew Sirius was a flirty person, always had been. And you knew he didn't mean it. It normally didn't bother you, but this time felt different.
You knew for a fact that he'd had a crush on Cassandra a while back. It also didn't help that she was kind of amazing, not to mention gorgeous…
You'd tried to get the image out of your head of Sirius leaning over her against the wall, laughing with her… But it was like it was tattooed on your corneas. It was all you'd been thinking about that afternoon.
It didn't help that you'd been studying with Remus in their dorm and that Sirius was acting completely oblivious. As well as annoying. He was restless, constantly distracting Remus and you from your work.
"Come oooon," he whined. "You've been at this all afternoon. Let's do something fun."
"Think you've had enough fun for the day," you muttered under your breath.
"What was that, love?" Sirius perked up.
"Nothing," you waved him off.
He raised an eyebrow as his eyes wandered over you.
It irrationally infuriated you that he'd only just noticed your mood.
"Everything alright, deary?"
You nodded. "Yeah, why wouldn't it be?"
Just because he noticed, didn't mean you wanted to talk about it.
Sirius knelt down in front of your chair. "You sure? You don't seem…"
"Seem what?" You snapped.
Remus put his book down at that. "Siri's right, love, you don't seem quite alright today. Anything you want to talk to us about?"
You let out a sigh. You really didn't like that Remi was getting caught in the middle of this, but you also really weren't ready to have this talk. "It's nothing, really, I'm fine."
"Hey, don't do that," you chastised as the boys exchanged a worried look. "You don't want to believe me, that's fine. I'll just go." You haphazardly gathered up your stuff and shoved it in your bag, ready to storm out.
"Oh, come on, deary, please don't leave." Sirius grabbed your wrist but you pulled out of his grip instantly.
"Please don't leave like this," he whispered.
"Just talk to us." The softness of him made your stomach drop, but you couldn't bear talking through these insecurities right now.
Remus brushed a lock of hair behind your ear. "You're worrying us a little bit, darling. Would you please stay and talk?"
You shook your head.
"Are you mad? Did we do something?" Sirius was getting desperate. He hated fighting with the people close to him.
You bit your tongue, willing your eyes not to well up. "I've got to go."
You crossed the dorm, but Sirius beat you to the door.
"Siri, get out of the way…" You sighed, but Sirius wasn't planning on moving any time soon.
"No. Not until you tell us what's going on!"
"Sirius…" Remus tried to intervene.
"No, Remi, she can't leave like this. There's clearly something going on."
You were starting to lose your patience. "Sirius, get out of my way."
"Not until you tell me what's wrong!" Sirius yelled.
"I don't have to tell you everything that goes on in my head, y'know? You're not entitled to my every thought!" You screamed back at him. You were about to lose your temper.
"Darling, I love you, and there's something wrong. I just wanna help. Just want you to be okay."
"I've told you, I'm fine. I clearly don't want to talk. Now step away from the goddamn door!"
You knew Sirius. He was not relenting. He had sunk his teeth in, and that meant he wasn't letting go. You also knew he was spiralling, going over all the worst case scenarios of how this could end. And if only that image of him and Cassandra hadn't been dancing in front of your eyes, you probably would have stopped to soothe him. But you couldn't bring yourself to do it, now.
You knew there was only one way you were going to get past him. And so, you whipped your wand out of your boot. "Don't make me do this, Sirius." You were almost pleading.
Sirius' confused, hurt look was a punch in the gut, but he really wasn't leaving you any other options.
"Y/n…" He started.
"I don't want to talk to you right now, Sirius. Now, for the last time, let me out of here."
Finally, Remus swooped in, pushing Sirius behind him and opening the door.
You silently stormed out the door, leaving your two bewildered boys behind.
***
You had ignored your boys all throughout the next day, rushing out of every class before they'd even packed their books.
You'd done a pretty good job of it, until there was a knock on the door of your dorm that evening, and you were greeted with two sheepish faces.
"Hi," Remus started tentatively.
"Hi."
"Can we talk?" You looked back into your dorm, which was decidedly not empty. "Are Prongs and Wormtail in?"
"They're in the common," Remus answered.
You nodded measuredly. "Alright, let's go to your dorm."
There had never been tension between you like there was now. It vaguely reminded you of before you got together, when being around each other was all tense and electric. Merlin, were you missing that electricity now...
You plopped down on Remus' bed, fiddling with your thumbs. "So..."
"I'm so sorry," Sirius burst out.
"Merlin, love, I'm so so sorry, I don't know what I was thinking." Sirius sunk down onto the floor in front of you.
"It's okay, Siri," you started, but he interrupted you. "It's not, though. That was not okay. I am truly sorry, love."
You ran your hand through his hair. "Apology accepted, Siri. I'm sorry I pulled my wand on you."
"Didn't leave you much of a choice, did I? I promise, nothing like that will ever happen again."
You nodded. "I know."
Remus sat down next to you. "It's alright if you don't want to talk, dove, we're certainly not looking for a repeat of yesterday, but we're still a little worried. I promise I won't ask again after this, but, is anything bothering you, dear?"
Now that you'd cooled down, you found it much harder to lie to your boys, but you felt so silly admitting that this whole thing happened because Sirius talked to another witch...
"It's stupid, really... I'm just overreacting..."
"Hey, love, anything you're feeling, you know we want to know."
You sighed, burying your head in your hands. "I guess I was feeling a little pissed off."
Sirius' arm wrapped around your shoulders as he sat down on your other side. "Did something happen?"
You cast a sideways glance his way. "This is gonna sound so silly... I just, I saw you talking to Cassandra Fieldwake."
Sirius just looked at you expectantly, still clueless.
"And I guess I just got a bit jealous, is all..."
"Wait, what?" Sirius' eyes went wide. "You were jealous?"
You shrugged. "Well, I mean... Cassandra's great and you used to carry a massive torch for her, and then the two of you looked so flirty, and I know, you're a flirty person, so I just need to get over it..."
"Woah, no," Sirius interrupted, "you don't have to get over anything. I'm sorry I made you feel this way, but, darling, you've got less than nothing to worry about. I am crazy about you."
"I know... I just got insecure," you shrugged. Instantly, your boys wrapped you in a giant hug. "We are so incredibly lucky to have you, darling, we'd be out of our heads to look elsewhere."
"Really?"
"Of course, darling. You're perfect. I haven't so much as thought of another girl since I first kissed you."
"Oh, come on, now you're exaggerating," you rolled your eyes.
"Moony?" Sirius called out.
"He has not shut up about you for the past year-and-a-half. It would've been seriously annoying if I hadn't been so completely head over heels for you as well," Remi smiled, making you blush.
"You know what, Pads?" The drop in Remus' voice caught you off guard.
"I think we need to remind our little dove that she's our number one girl."
Sirius eyes glinted mischievously. "Y'know what, Moony, I think you're right."
You gasped when both of them launched an attack on your neck. You never got used to their hands all over you, it felt spectacular every damn time.
Remus softly guided you onto your back. He kissed you so deeply it made your head spin.
Before you could open your eyes, Sirius took Remus' place. They did this often, but you could always tell.
Remus' hand snaked under your shirt, toying with your breasts before undoing your shirt. You unhooked your bra with one hand and quickly tossed it aside. Moments later, your boys were all over your chest. Merlin, they never stopped looking like they belonged in a porno with the way their backs arched as they ravaged your chest.
"Shirts," you moaned. "Shirts off, please."
"So needy," Moony chuckled, but he took his shirt and tie off immediately. He helped Sirius undo his tie, pulling him in for a kiss while he was at it.
Soon, you were all shirtless, and Remus and Sirius were back on you. Sirius' hand palmed your thighs, working his way up to cup your heat.
"Siri..." You moaned.
"Tell him what you want, love," Remus cooed in your ear.
"Fuck, Siri, I want you to touch me."
Sirius didn't move his hand. "Like this, dove?"
You groaned in frustration. "I want you inside of me," you sighed.
Remus bit your earlobe. "Beg him."
"Remi..." You whined.
"Don't test me, dove," his voice was low in your ear and sent a shiver down your spine.
"Please, Siri, please touch me, I need your fingers in me so badly, darling..."
Sirius groaned at your words, making quick work of discarding the remainder of your clothes. His finger trailed over you and he groaned again. "She's so wet, Remi, so pretty, you've got to see her."
But Remus was too busy lavaging your upper body with kisses. "Our girl's the prettiest," he said in between kisses. "She looks even prettier when she's cumming, though. How about you make our girl feel good, Pads."
Sirius licked his lips. "Gladly."
You gasped as two of his digits plunged into you. Sirius knew exactly what you liked, his fingers angled just so in that way that made your eyes roll to the back of your head. His tongue rolled over your clit and you grabbed onto his hair.
"Do that again, Siri," you mewled.
Sirius happily obliged. "Think you can take one more, love?"
You nodded.
Sirius' third finger stretched you out gloriously.
"You're taking him so well, dove. Such a good girl for us," Remus was whispering encouragements in your ear. "Is Pads getting you there, darling?" He didn't need an answer, he knew your body by heart, but he demanded one anyway.
"I'm so close, Remi. Siri, please don't stop."
"Wouldn't dream of it, darling." Sirius was hitting that exact spot in you, your hands clutching at the sheets. When he did that thing with his tongue again, you were done for. Your back arched of the bed as you came on Sirius' fingers.
"So damn beautiful, dove." Remus' voice sounded strained.
Sirius let you ride out your orgasm on his fingers before slowly pulling them out, holding them out for Remus, who sucked them into his mouth eagerly. "Taste so good sweetheart. Merlin, Pads, move over, gotta taste her."
And just like that, Sirius was cuddled next to you, while Remus knelt down at the edge of the bed, lapping you up hungrily.
"Mmm, Remy, slow down." You tugged on his hair. "Sensitive," you breathed out.
" 'M sorry, lovely, but you should see yourself... You're so damn irresistible." He dove right back between your legs.
You were used to reigning Remus in by his hair. You'd learned quickly that there was few things he liked better than getting his hair pulled. You were a moaning mess as Remus quickly brought you close another orgasm, and then kept you there.
"Remi..." You whined. "Remi, darling, please. Please!"
Remus' taunting eyes looked back at you. "Please what, love?"
"Please make me cum, Remi, please."
He smirked devilishly. "Soon."
His tongue was flush against you, you were struggling against him. "Hold her still, Pads." Remus growled. Sirius kissed you deeply before moving down to your hips, holding you down to the mattress as he kissed your lower stomach.
"Remi," your breath hitched in your throat, as Remus once again brought you right to the edge. "Please!"
But Remus was never one to give in to your pleas so easily. He was going to use you like his little plaything until he was satisfied, and then he would let you cum. There was nothing more for you to do but give in to him. You relaxed into his touch, your body completely at his mercy. Remus brought you back until all you could do was moan out the word please, tears rolling down your cheeks.
Sirius was whispering affirmations in your ear the entire time. "Such a good girl, love, doing so well. You're so good for us."
"Isn't she, Pads? Such a good girl," Remus smirked. "Does our good girl want to cum?"
"Yes!" You cried out. "Yes, please, Remi, please!"
Remus' tongue dug into you, and this time, he wasn't stopping until your nails were scraping his scalp, hips bucking against Sirius' grip. You threw your head back, a silent scream on your lips as your orgasm crashed into. You held Remus in place until your orgasm subsided, his soft kitten licks guiding you back to earth.
When you caught your breath, your boys were cuddling you, peppering soft kisses across your cheeks.
"Fuck me, darling..."
"So damn perfect."
You grabbed Remus' hair again as you pulled him in for a slow kiss. "I love you, Remi," you whispered.
"I love you, too, dove."
You turned to kiss Sirius as well. "I love you, Siri."
He smiled fondly at you. "I love you too, deary, so, so much."
You watched in awe as your two boys kissed each other, exchanging their own I love you's.
Sirius bent back over you, his nose rubbing against yours. "You know we're not done with you, right, deary?"
You gasped as they tossed you further onto the bed, landing on your stomach. Remus warm breath in your ear made you shiver.
"You didn't think we were passing up this chance to fuck you, did you, love?"
He playfully bit your earlobe as you giggled.
"You gonna fuck me good, Remi?" You challenged.
"You bet your ass, lovey."
You yelped as Remus' hand struck you across the bottom.
"We're going to make you feel so good." Sirius bit your bottom lip as he slid in beneath you. He gathered some of the wetness between your legs and spread it over his length. "Merlin, I can't wait to fuck you."
Before you could even say the words 'then don't', Sirius was pushing into you.
"Fuck, Siri!" You cried out.
Sirius moved slowly, letting you adjust to him while Remus sidled up against your back. "I love you, darling," he whispered as he slowly started working open your ass.
"I love you too, Remi," you moaned. "You too, Siri."
Sirius pulled you in for a kiss. He sucked on the sweet spot behind your ear as Remus slowly pushed inside you. You let out a sigh at the feeling. Whenever they were inside you, you felt so gloriously full that it made you forget why you were ever not fucking them.
"You guys feel so good, fuck, you make me feel so damn good, I love you so much." You moaned as they started moving into you.
"Fuck, Remi, I can feel you," Sirius groaned.
"Me too, Pads. Feels good."
They moved into you in unison, quickly setting a pace that was setting your skin on fire. But still, you wanted more. "Fingers," you managed to breath out.
Sirius sneered. "Would you look at that, Moony, our little dove's not satisfied until all her holes are stuffed full."
"Such a little whore," Remus laughed into your ear. He spanked your ass roughly. "Go on, Siri, give her what she needs."
Sirius held out two of his fingers, watching as you eagerly sucked them into your mouth. You sucked Sirius' fingers, wishing it was one of their cocks instead.
"Merlin, Remi, look at her. She's taking me so well... I'm not gonna last much longer," Sirius' breathing was getting shallow.
Remus grabbed your hips, fucking you into them. You were so impossibly full. Your moans no longer made it out of your throat, they just had you choking on Sirius' fingers.
Remus grabbed Sirius' free hand and put in on your hip, replacing his own hand. Sirius' fingers dug into you as he desperately tried to hold off his orgasm. Remus noticed, reaching around you to grab Sirius' chin. "Don't you dare come before she does, you hear me."
Sirius nodded roughly. "I won't, Moony, promise."
"Good boy," Remus purred.
"Are you close, darling?"
You tried to answer, gagging on Sirius' fingers. Remus grabbed your chin. "Answer me, dear."
"Yes, so close, Remi," you managed to get out.
"Good girl. Keep sucking Paddies fingers like the good little whore you are."
You nodded vigorously.
They were pounding into you so hard you were practically bouncing on their cocks. You were so, so close. The kiss Remus planted on your shoulder warned you that he was going in for the kill. His free hand travelled down your side, teasing your inner thighs before pressing down on your clit.
You threw your head back onto Remus' shoulder as you came. You were completely overwhelmed, choking on Sirius' fingers as Remus was still rubbing your clit. They hadn't slowed down their pace, still fucking into you, chasing their own highs as you squeezed them deliciously.
They came with a string of profanity falling from their lips, Sirius throwing his head back and Remus biting down on your shoulder.
"Fucking hell, love," Sirius smiled as he fell back onto the bed.
"You did so well, darling," Remus guided you down onto the mattress as well.
"Such a good girl." He kissed your temple and cleaned the three of you up before falling back onto the bed, too.
"You feeling better, deary?" Sirius whispered into your ear.
You nodded. "Feeling incredible, Siri. Nothing but incredible."
"Sleep over?" Remus nuzzled his face into your neck.
"Gladly."

Random TWST headcanons
These have been sitting in my notes app for a while (cut off bc it’s kinda long)
Floyd draws on his skin a lot, usually just random lines or squiggles and a lot of the insides of his inner sleeves are a little stained with ink because of it.
Rook is a passenger princess because he likes being able to just watch the surroundings and not have to focus on the road and driving
Deuce takes his pens apart during class but then Ace and Grim steal the springs and he can’t put it back together. He has lost MANY pens this way and Ace and Grim just pretend they did absolutely nothing when Deuce tells them to give the spring back.
Riddle firmly believes that “a couple” of something means two and “a few” of something means three and gets irrationally irritated whenever that rule is broken (Not a Queen of Hearts rule, just a personal belief)
The Leech twins both send pictures of their food to Azul whenever they eat something with octopus
One time Floyd drank a quad-shot of coffee just for fun and Azul was freaking out because oh lord, Floyd’s already a mess what do we do with a caffeinated Floyd, but nothing happened. He was jittery and shaking but he felt nothing except for maybe tired. That was how he found out he had ADHD and wasn’t just a problem child (He’s still absolutely a problem child but at least he knows why now)
Ace is the guy who says “You know if the teacher doesn’t show up in 15 minutes, we can leave”
Lilia introduced Sebek to Dress to Impress and Sebek does the Caseoh “I SLAYEDDDDD” every time, he takes it so seriously
Idia has the most specific range of temperatures that he’s comfortable in. Like 60°F-65°F or else he’s uncomfortable and starts complaining about it being too cold or too hot
Riddle has chronic headaches. One time Trey asked him if his head hurt and he said “Just the normal amount” and Trey was like “Riddle, the normal amount of pain is none” “Wait, what?”
Rook lowkey gets emotional over The Ugly Duckling. Someone mentions it and he’s like “Oh, I could only imagine the pain that poor baby bird went through, being rejected and judged as an ugly duckling when it was never even a duckling at all! Quelle tragédie! I weep for its poor soul!” or something
(can you tell i have favorites)
