i am OBSESSED with deku’s perception of romance and how it’s probably based off popular melodramas and his peers’ stories about their dates.

because you can’t argue with me that that’s the reason why he will have no idea his and katsuki’s relationship is so close to romantic. i’m so sure he’s gonna be the last one to realise his feelings for katsuki aren’t purely friendly and platonic. the guy will be like “oh yeah we’re really close and i care about him deeply and i hate the very thought of him being hurt and i wanna spend the rest of my life next to kacchan but haha that’s just our friendship! we’re not holding hands and sharing crepes so there are no romantic feelings involved🥰”

I want you to look at me while I’m burning

Thinking lately about these two and the way that i view them. They barely know each other at all, Lightbulb had to completely reassess her view of them once she realized she basically made up their entire friendship in her head, and Paintbrush only recently realized her true nature which they want to get to know when they meet again. She was shining so bright and so overtaken by their anger that it was impossible to see the real her beneath but now they want to.

Side thought on this, Incandescent lightbulbs, fun fact, burn brightest at the moment of failure. I think she can burn out consistently, whether from being lit too long or emotional stress, and it leaves her in a burnt out state where she’s literally burnt out and tired and needs time to rest and recover.

And it also plays on the fact that it hurts her to cry, her tears sting even more when she’s lit which i think she can’t control if shes emotionally distressed enough. But luckily Lightbulb is someone who doesn’t feel the need to cry very often.
