Booming Surprise
Thinking about Valerie and the suit upgrade Technus gave her...
So mother boxes are kind of sentient computers right? Do they formed ghosts when they're destroyed??
...
What if Technus bonded Val with the ghost of a mother box??? So her suit is- well not alive, the motherbox is dead, but sort of sentient. And also part of her.
The day she realizes she can boom tube is gonna be wild.
#dpxdc#dcxdp#valerie gray#nicolai technus#her boom tube is ecto green ofc#and it only goes between the ghost zone and the living realm#but she can learn to control where it lands each time so it can function like a normal boom tube#just had do it twice with a pit stop in the Realms.

What if Tim was the Ghostliest Bat
Lots of DPxDC crossover writers have Tim Drake being the one non-liminal Bat, or becoming liminal late in the game. This is probably due to the fact that most of them have died and come back and Tim hasn't.
It makes sense, but, hear me out, what if Tim was actually the most liminal and had been liminal for the longest.
The other Bats had a more standard type of death and resurrection. Afterward, they are simply living people.
Tim's parents are archeologists and bring back artifacts from all over the world. At least some of these artifacts are kept in the house. It wouldn't be too much of a stretch to think that some of them have something ghostly to them.
The specifics could vary. Perhaps the artifacts just steadily release ectoplasm into the environment. Perhaps they thin the veil in places and Tim wanders in and out of the Ghost Zone, getting as much socialization from ghosts as from the living, if not more. Heck, maybe one of those artifacts was meant for travel between realms and Tim accidentally opens a portal on himself and becomes a halfa at a young age.
However it happens, Tim grows up exposed to ectoplasm day in and day out. He adapts to the environment he spends his formative years in. He gradually becomes more ghostly. No one notices for a while because no one around him recognizes the signs and Tim is a quick study at keeping up appearances, at least to surface-level observation.
Tim knows how to behave around strangers and distant acquaintances. That said, he doesn't necessarily realize that his more ghostly tendencies are abnormal and not simply something that etiquette dictates is not shared with strangers.
Tim pays relatively little concern to his own safety because some part of his subconscious knows that he's already assured an afterlife that's familiar and comfortable to some part of him, though he is still conscientious and considerate of the health and safety of others.
He obsesses over The Bats, follows them around and takes pictures. Ghosts tend to be fairly intense about what's important to them, so it doesn’t seem wrong to him. After all, he's not trying to force himself into their lives, and he makes a point to be unobtrusive with his photography so as not to impact them at all. By ghostly standards, he's being quite reserved by keeping his distance and taking care not to bother them, and his human social knowledge doesn't extend far beyond surface level.
He doesn't interact with the Bats at all until Batman's mental health becomes a public safety issue, and even then he tries to get them to resolve the matter internally, first. He only begins directly inserting himself into their lives after recieving express permission from a member of the family.
Once he does become one of them, however, he is intense and unreserved about it in the way that ghosts tend to be about everything that's important to them. He pays close attention and remembers everything. He goes above and beyond with anything they might ask of him, and even with some things they don't ask for but seem to need. He cares in a way that's just a bit uncanny.
No one talks to him about some of his more extreme tendencies. Maybe they just don't have the emotional bandwidth because they're still grieving. Maybe the Bats refrain from commenting on Tim's stalking and general over-the-top-ness because stones and glass houses.
Tim doesn't understand what went wrong in his relationship with Steph because human behavior standards and boundaries are not intuitive to him, nor has he been taught about them. Grief-stricken Bats are not a good resource when it comes to behavioral norms. For all that she's certain he'd never intentionally hurt or upset her, Tim is creepy. Sweet and caring, but creepy.
He also doesn't freak out when Steph comes back and pretends to be a hallucination. The deception doesn't work at all because his subconscious ghostliness means that his brain doesn't automatically reject the idea of a dead comrade being back. He just goes straight into "Hooray, you're back!" mode without stopping to question it. Steph doesn't take the deception any further because he's already caught onto it and he's so happy to see her.
They remain friends.
Jason comes back from the dead and Tim immediately latches on. He doesn't care if Jason is attacking him. Jason is one of his, and he's back. He grins and keeps his banter friendly and gushes about how happy he is to have Jason back through the entire beatdown at Titans Tower. He doesn't actually start sounding worried until Jason begins walking away after writing on the wall with his blood. Tim begs him not to go. The whole experience freaks Jason out.
Tim initially has a bit of an issue with Damian, not because of the murder attempts (which Tim doesn't especially care about), but because of Damian's insistence on not allowing Tim to remain in the family, and because his apparent goal of being Batman's only family member makes him register as a threat to others Tim cares about. Eventually, things settle a bit once it's made clear that Damian isn't going after anyone else and will not be allowed to kick him out.
The other Bats are equal parts wary of Tim (because he's creepy and unsettling in ways that are difficult to define) and worried for Tim (because he doesn't seem to have a sense of self preservation).
Lots and lots of Tim being spooky without realizing it and freaking everyone out with no explanation. No one understands what, exactly, is so off about Tim that makes him so unsettling, until Sam Manson gets dragged to a gala in Gotham and immediately clocks him.
Do with this as you will.

Re-Making Ghost King function
Ghost King is a lot of OP!Danny and skipping other avenues to explore how that could work, so i have IdeasTM to add weight to the role and make it Worse For Ghost King or add costs to acting outside of the role.
Adding possible story ideas to each example i give, and up for grabs just tag me if you do anything :D
Ghost king is a curse and death sentence.
It drains your core and keeps you from your obsession. It is the realm’s denizens deciding ‘fuck this guy in particular’. The draining of the king’s core causes them to go insane (known problem) and the energy goes to sustaining a number of youngers and newly forming ghosts in the Ghost Nurseries.
Yes, Danny’s main area of the Ghost Zone is included in Nursery where ghosts of similar species and backgrounds intermingle with parents of neverborns, form firghts and later move deeper into realms, unless their obsession includes the living. Then they tend to gravitate to portal rich areas, and areas that spawn in their preferred time and regions of living world.
This means Danny? Is possibly going to deal with going insane if he’s crowned, especially as Pariah is around still. Realms are convening on if Danny’s a bigger threat than Pariah after defeating him. Go nuts on court and legal arguments between various ghosts. JLD may be called in by [character] to find a way to save Danny from this BS, while Danny is staging another prison break and probably forming another army on his side that he does not lead and like him enough to keep around but do not agree with him in terms of leadership. So his new friends are kidnapping him for his own good, while a trial is held over if a halfa can be given the cursed role of ghost king, and if Danny should be cursed to future madness
Go nuts on political drama, jail break fun and Danny debating if this makes him a McGuffin, and why his life is Like This
Team ups everywhere
Ghost king is the loosely diplomat between the Infinite Realms. And other realms sometimes.
Pariah decided war was the best way to get everyone to shut up and unite and maybe not make all their issues his problem for five minutes.
Danny is now expected to handle this as physically beating opponents to establish credentials is vital
Danny is shit at remembering his powers. Or how to switch between them outside his main ones…
Cue danny finding mentors to help and runs into hero of your choice for help (yes this means Batman isn’t the best to handle this, if he’s around have him shuffle Danny to another team or frequent meetings with a lot of heroes)
Feel free to unleash him onto Hero Team of Choice and make him their problem as ‘oh its me or the guy who’s main response is world domination! My mirror likes traveling and a few of my friends are activists. I dont want Conqueror McGee in charge of this stuff. I’m just here as the muscle/backup, and engineer. And space stuff. I am not the negotiator, i am the negotiator’s bodyguard.’
Danny is here to play Guard the Diplomat and act like he is not, in fact, the diplomat Legally.
Heroes? Doing their best to train danny up, likely bonding with him and his crew (tagalongs of your choice. But please let Val be there too, and calling Danny out on ‘crap tactics’ in a teasing manner.)
Ghost King is Extremely Limited in living world regardless of previous powers
Ghost Kings only have their full powers in the realms of the dead, and said powers vary by monarch and region they are present in
Yes this helps explain Danny’s weekly new powers if we include Clocky as a previous king who saw Dan become king and thought early intervention on powers might prevent Dan. Did not work as intended.
In the living realm danny acts more as a medium and can answer questions about the dead, but cannot use his powers anywhere but Amity as Amity is a Veil City (city that exists in both the IR and Living Realm) but is anchored more on living side… outside of the city wandering about as it pleases
Danny is mostly human in human word besides having an encyclopedic knowledge about the dead, burial sites, which death realm one resides in or returned from, ect.,
In the infinite Realms he is eldritch though. As a treat.
Danny is not able to be summoned unless he’s in the infinite realms. Pariah is the backup summon though. And he’s bitchy about it.
High crack, comedy and angst potential
Summons can be anyone, and danny is Done with Cultists and makes a point to tell them to fuck off with the power crap. He will take questions about the dead, and only if he gets a burger shake.
As King Phantom he’s basically a Glorified Realms Secretary in his opinion. He makes Pariah the King when he wants to be bitchy to people, and vice versa.
No rule against Pariah and Danny in a weird joint custody of the title as ‘i beat you, i won’ vs ‘you only meet the credentials half the time. We work in shifts’
Ghost King with Serious Limitations the way most monarchs have.
King Phantom cannot help you with… finding your missing friend. Danny Fenton can.
Fenton gets no access to his powers when going against what Phantom is allowed to do. Including his healing factor!
Much whump and angst potential
So many scenarios to put this in, especially if you have another person pissed at danny for not doing more with his own powers and get reality checked with danny seriously injured for Not Following the Ghost King Restrictions
Fenton making tech to help where he cant is highly applicable
I say engineer Danny working with Hero Of Choice as Gadget Guy and finding out powers afterwards and former hero status could be fun too!
And there’s all i got ATM, if anyone has other ideas to make Ghost King less OP or have other angles, let me know so we can circulate other ways this can work.
Tag whoever may be interested or have other ideas to rework the ghost king concept

mind if I give a dp×dc prompt?
Constantine means to summon the ghost king but instead summons the ghost prince who is currently has a fork hanging out of his mouth.
Damian just wanted to eat lunch with his adoptive father king phantom, in peace.
I just want to put that I love this prompt, and will enjoy writing this so much!
Now, onto the big question: How did Damian become the Ghost Prince of the Infinite Realms in the first place?
And of course, the answer is obviously because of Ra's al Ghul. I could think of it as two ways.
One would be Ra's summoned the Ghost King and offered his son in exchange for immortality. Danny not only denies him, but still takes Damian with him because he's obviously better off anywhere but there.
The other way would be Damian would be forced to watch the summoning as Ra's possibly wanted to show him his ascent into being immortal. Though, when summoning Danny, he just looked around, saw Damian, grabbed him, and disappeared back through the summoning circle while flipping off Ra's al Ghul.
Now, what's the Ghost King supposed to do with the human kid he just kidnapped without a second thought?
Sure, the kids previous living conditions probably wasn't the best. I mean, how would it when the man had an entire pit of rotten ectoplasm? But Danny was pretty much still a kid himself. And he had his kingly duties on top of that. But that doesn't mean he was just going to dump the kid somewhere else and hope for the best.
So what does Danny do? He goes to his sister.
Jazz is conflicted about the whole ordeal. On one hand, it was good for Danny to rescue the child from the possible dangerous situation. On the other, they had a whole child that they didn't know what to do with.
Damian was confused about the entire situation. He was there with his grandfather (whether by force or his own accord depending how he got there) to watch him summon the King of the Dead in order to establish himself as one of the higher beings in this world to rule it. Instead, the King, who turned out to be no more older than him, denied his grandfather upright before grabbing him and vanishing back into the same portal he was summoned from.
Now, he was sitting between the Ghost King and an older teen. Sister, maybe? Either way, he was unsure as to what to do now. He had no idea how far he was away from the hideout of the League. And if the King was as powerful as legends told, he doubted he would make it far if he were to run anywhere before he was caught.
So, Damian believed that the best thing to do in this situation was to try and get onto the Ghost King's good side until he could find what would be the next step. So his next words shocked both him and the woman he was talking with.
"I want to stay with you, Great King of the Dead."
So! Damian decided that staying with the Ghost King, or Phantom, as he preferred to be called at most, would be best. Of course, his request threw the king off guard along with the girl. But it was all he had up his sleeve and he was going to use it.
And now that that was settled, a lot of things followed suite:
Danny, with the gain of a new charge, called in Sam and Tucker for a full on meeting on what to do with the kid along with Jazz.
Of course with Danny officially kidnapping him, he was under Danny's care. The Ghost King's care. That was basically signing some sort of second death wish.
With all of his friends and family being alive, they decide the best place for him to leave was in his castle in the Ghost Zone. There was plenty of room there! And he was sure that it would be safe. Maybe. Hopefully. You know what? He'll probably have to do a quick check before he officially brought to the castle.
That being said, he would also have to warn those who stayed in the castle the arrival of his....guest? Kidnappee? Ward? A kid that he took from the environment that was not safe for him!
Surprisingly, the ghosts were excited about the development. So excited, in fact, that when he returned to the castle with Damian in turn, there was already talk about the Ghost King's heir was already going around of all the realms. That was fine though. If the word spread around fast enough, hopefully that that meant he would be easily protected against any possible attacks.
Danny introduces to some of those he can. A few members of his Rogue Gallery who he gotten closer to over the time, Ellie ("It's big sister Ellie, now! I can't believe you just kidnapped a kid like that!")
Others were introduced to him as well. Especially Frost Bite and Fright Knight. Both of which were interested in meeting his sudden charge. (But with the way he saw the kid eyeing Fright Knight's sword, it's best their unsupervised interactions were kept to a minimum.)
And seeing that he was a kid himself, it was going to be weird raising one that's probably not much younger than him. Clockwork sure did get a kick out of it though.
Here is a list of possible outcomes that come from Danny and his friends & family raising Damian:
He doesn't grow up to be as stiff and cold as before. With Danny and the others around (especially Jazz's "Aunt Jazz, Damian," Aunt Jazz's mandatory sessions about his life with the League of Assassin's) his formality is more royalty like instead of an assassin waiting to strike. Though, there is a bit still there.
Training. As being accepted as the ward and possible heir of the Ghost King, it meant that that Damian would have protection and would have to learn the ways of the Infinite Realms. Both its politics and ways of combat. That was fine, Damian was sure he could handle it. He was raised by the League of Assassins after all. But he was wrong...so wrong. His first training session showed how he fared as a human against a ghost. But he wasn't deterred and continued fighting. (It was alright in the end, because he got his own ghost sword. Of course, it didn't send the opponent into a realm of neverending nightmares, but it was still good. Danny was sure he heard Damian cackle madly when the sword was presented to him.)
Bonding time with Danny and his friends. He would most likely learn about Danny about how he became Phantom and King of the Infinite Realms, as well as a bit of his friends and family that was with him the entire time.
Even if he is Danny's ward, that doesn't mean that he keeps him in the Infinite Realms the entire time. He often took Damian out to various spots that he deemed alright for some bonding between the two to get to know each other a bit more personally.
He would even allow Damian some time alone in the human realm if he wanted it. Of course, he would only leave him for about an hour or two before picking him up again. During that time he would simply work on some kingly duties he couldn't do with Damian around.
Overtime, Damian would become more liminal than most due to all the exposure in the realms. Of course he wasn't a full on ghost, but the most he could do was float, fly and even turn invisible. But even that would take a lot out of him for too long.
After a while, Damian would be referred as "Little Prince" or "Prince of the Infinite Realms".
All. The. Animals. With all of the ecto-based animals along with the blob ghosts, he would be in absolute heaven.
Now, I want to bring something else up to this prompt: How would Bruce react?
Depending on how Danny kidnapped adopted Damian, there are two ways that Bruce could find out.
Bruce gains word from Talia after a League of Assassins member finds her and tells her of the passing of Ra's al Ghul and the kidnapping of his grandson. Both of which happened by the hands of the Ghost King.
Words gets out that Ra's failed to get the Ghost King under his control to grant his wish of immortality and that the Ghost King took his grandson as well.
Either way would be how Bruce managed to have a biological son that he was unaware of. Which could also lead to him digging into anything he could find about the King of the Infinite Realms, even seeking JL Dark for any information. Of course, their information isn't up to date and he think that Damian has been kidnapped by the cruel Ghost King Pariah Dark instead of Danny Phantom: The King who can't say no to a kid with a sword bigger than his own body.
So yes. This whole ordeal would just be chaos from beginning to end.

dp x dc fic idea
(Spoiler for Sandman Comics)
So this is a Danny Phantom x The Sandman crossover
Danny is King of the Infinite Realms
which is the dimension of the in-between, pocket gaps between different realities, where everything that ends begins again, etc.
Danny is one of Death of the Endless' favorite children though he is both her's and not her's at the same time
Anyways they have a working relationship because Danny rules over all who have been touched by the Lady Death and the Ghost Zone is kinda sorta where she takes everybody when they die
I'm going off the au that because it's the INFINITE realms, when people die they just go to whatever portion of the realms coincides with what they believe
also you know, not everyone becomes ghosts because there has to be enough ectoplasm when they died for them to form a ghost core and well not all ghosts ever lived
Morpheus dies (he planned it, in case you didn't know) and Daniel Hall becomes the next incarnation of Dream of the endless
I'm also gonna go out and say that Danny and Morpheus have met before because Nocturne is actually a conglomeration of all of Dream's nightmares that have died, by his hand or not
this is going off the assumption that everything in the world has a little ectoplasm, just usually miniscule amounts and that when anything meets its end the bits of ectoplasm it contains eventually makes its way to the Infinite Realms
so Nocturne is made of those multiple small bits of ectoplasm Dream's nightmares
and before Dream got characer development, the nightmares honestly did not have it the best which is why Nocturne was one of the more antagonistic/dangerous ghosts
but yeah so Danny knew Morpheus and they teamed up at some point because of Nocturne
I actually like the idea more that Danny was scolding Morpheus for his treatment of his Nightmares and the clear discrimination between Dreams and Nightmares and that if someone doesn't want to be a Nightmare they shouldn't have to choose between doing something they don't want to do or getting their existence ended (wow does Danny know how that feels)
and Morpheus recreated some of his creations like Corinthian but those are different incarnations, so kinda sorta the same being but also not
it doesn't matter, it doesn't erase what happened
Danny totally crashed Morpheus' castle somehow
Morpheus was definitely like, "You, a human child who once dreamt of nothing but the stars and now only has nightmares of a future that may come to pass (aka Dan, or getting dissected by his own parents, or the collapse of reality as we know it because humans found a way to break into the Ghost Zone and eradicate all the ghosts) would lecture me on the creatures that torment you? I am Lord Morpheus, Dream of the Endless, who has existed far longer than you could possibly comprehend, and you would dare?"
Danny I'm-too-tired-to-deal-with-another-godlike-entities-bullshit-again Fenton is like "Hey! I'm a half-dead child. Get it right. And you totally deserve this dude. I mean I finally had a talk with Nocturn after the Pariah Dark situation, which was not easy mind you, about his whole forcing people to sleep to absorb Dream Energy. His entire being is totally your fault. And your treatment of beings that you created from scratch who are essentially your children is terrible. My parent's are a constant danger to my very existence but at least I know they care about me unlike you and yours. And also...."
they totally became friends because Danny is that type of annoying that grows on you like a fungus and it helps that he's functionally immortal and has seen and experienced the worst of humanity (as well as other beings) and is the all-powerful Ghost King
anyways Danny goes to Morpheus' wake and as Lady Death, in her red dress, bids goodbye to her brother's body floating away into eternity to become one of the stars in the sky Phantom tells her
"Worry not, Mother of my core, I shall take him into my care just as I do all you have brought to my realm and one day, when you lay a final night's kiss upon this universe, you shall join us there until the time for a new Universe's dawn"
"...human child who once dreamt nothing but the stars..."
"Sleep well, my friend as you rest amongst the stars."

⚠️👻DPxDC enjoyers- assemble
Batman Danny Phantom vs Superman; some thoughts
I enjoy the many Batfam x danny phantom fics i've seen but consider that phantom has a suite of powers similar to superman.
Phantom has intangibility among other powers, and he's already half dead anyway. He might as well fight superman. When you think about it though, he could probably find kryptonite SOMEWHERE in the ghost zone, if he REALLY needed to get serious about it.
Although I feel like Danny probably is a fan and would not be seriously fighting Superman to the death. Plus I think Superman would realize he's fighting a teenager and then feel a little bad, or at least he'd cotton on that Phantom isn't serious about the fight either and is just messing around.
Danny was big fan of space stations, shuttles, all things orbital really. Not that Danny had any time to indulge in his hobbies since his half-death...
After kicking Pariah Dark's ass, enough was enough. He laid down some ghost attack rules with his usual rogues, after they all started calling him the king for some reason (lol he is in denial about that but rolling with it). Now, if they wanted to spook and scare in the realm of the living, or otherwise antagonize Danny, they had to schedule it ahead of time. Or else, they would not only be yeeted back into the Ghost Zone, but also do time in Walker's prison. (and sometimes community service)
Now Danny has a little more free time, to explore all the junk floating in Earths outer atmosphere! And obviously he invites himself into the Justice League's awesome HQ. He stalks the corridors of the Watchtower invisibly and intangibly, a fly on the wall, for days on end. He would insist he's not being creepy. Or villainous for that matter. When he mentions this JL ghosting to his friends, Tucker points out to him that if any league members catch on to his behavior, they will think he's some kind of supervillain, casing the place before an attack!
OK, so it sounds like it's time to make his presence known, before anyone gets the wrong idea! Only Danny is still awkward as hell. And how do you normally introduce yourself to them after you spent 3 weeks familiarizing yourself with every facet of the wiring of their airlock systems.
Everything obviously goes completely wrong when Phantom just sorta phases up through the floor in the middle of a casual meeting between a few of the human league members.
All he's done is introduce himself, but the atmosphere has gotten WAY too tense for Phantom's liking, and he tries easing the tension by saying "someone should crack a window in here" but Danny's still eager to talk about the orbital base so he disarmingly adds "actually I could probably do that by crossing some of the wires in this wall if i wanted-" and he is cut off by everyone leaping into attack mode because
THAT IS OBVIOUSLY A THREAT ON ALL OF THESE *AIR BREATHERS'* LIVES.
It's worrying to everyone how none of these experienced heroes seem to be capable of landing a hit on Phantom. The send the base into extreme lock-down mode, so that nothing can get in or out. Well that's the idea anyway. Phantom just sorta leaves. Through a wall. right out into space.
Worried the new rogue will be capable of doing something from the outside, they get a message out to Superman, that something (possibly alien) capable of surviving in no atmosphere broke into the Watchtower to make vague threats against the heroes, though no one was injured. Superman heads up right away to see if he can lay eyes on the surprise enemy.
To everyone's shock, although Superman immediately engaged the villain, he hasn't been able to do much, if any damage to him. Phantom seems to be having fun seeing Superman in action, up close. He's barely bothering to explain himself in between quips.
Clark starts to see this for what it is. "Are you... A child???" He reckons.
"Uh, sorta? I mean I was when I died!" Danny jokes.
That's concerning. "You seem pretty keen on fighting with me, but it seems like you aren't even trying to go on the offensive. Why is that?" Superman starts to give him some space.
"Well, I'm not used to pulling my punches. With my usual cast of rogues, I don't have to worry about accidentally killing any of them!" Danny is not sure if any of his abilities can harm a kryptonian, but he doesn't wanna risk it!
-----
If you've got any other ideas to add to this feel free to add on in a reblog or reply!
I feel like eventually the JL would end up hiring Phantom to outfit the entire Watchtower with anti-ghost shielding.

Third post: the blorbos of this au.
All art in this post is done by @eldergoodra ,a good pal and friend of the brainworms that consumed me.
1: The Web
A puppeted hollowed out Seris husk full of spiders. Believes himself to still be seris, admits they've been 'changed by the mothers embrace'.
Voice can project from anywhere on their floor, but on cross floor trips it only comes from inside the chest. Always mentioning how the spider has a plan.
2: The Corruption
This seris has made a hell suburbia with the most paradoxically inclusive and exclusive Hoa imaginable. The Hoa controls everything from the shirts you can wear outside to how high your pride flags have to be flown to be considered respectable. (Higher than six feet) his bigger theme is the hidden rot behind friendly faces. Thinks of himself as a more loving seris.
3: The Eye.
It cannot speak, it knows all, it sees all, all individuals see this seris staring at them, even if they are behind him. His neck may crack, he may look to be leaning. If you see him, in your eyes, he is looking back.
His eyelids and mouth are purely decorational, he suffers from extremely dry eyes. He thinks of himself as a piece of seris and is silently obsessed with trying to figure out what the others might be, attempting to categorize the group.
4: The Stranger
does not think of themself as seris. Most of the time they are either 'turned around' or have some manner of light on them.
They have no face to actually be revealed, it is smooth furr, there is no mouth, there are no eyes. This is the front and the back of his head. He has no bones and the backs and fronts of his paws are indistinguishable.
5: The Flesh
A seris that appears visually younger. He is a being of vanity and perceived standard. Having taken pieces from the people in his realm to give him the peak of health. His eyes are not his, and he thinks of himself as wish fulfillment for the life wasted before the great change.
6: The Desolation
A melting bubbling fixture of plastic, oil, wax, and metals, the Desolation is *also* a visually younger seri, though he views himself as a active and joyful mockery of the man he's made in the image of. A ghost of someone that would have been wasted potential, and done nothing, and even when seris did it 'right' he still wound up no where.
7: The Buried
The Buried was seris' first entity, and is actually the first tma seris to exist. The buried found sadgrey as a young child, having gotten lost between the walls and foundations of his massive childhood home. He was comforted by the feeling of the walls closing in on him, and he woke up in bed, with drywall under his nails and dirt caked on his hind paws.
Now, he is one with the building. If a light goes out, so do his eyes. He feels the breaking and buckling pipes in his arteries, the boiler in his chest hums and creaks with age. His suit is even matching the wallpaper. And he smiles with the warmness of fiberglass insulation and wires stuck between his teeth.
8: The Slaughter
An older seris, the slaughter doesn't really know why he's here. His heartbeat is a wardrum in the casing of a person who dreaded bloodshed but found it. He did not earn his medals, yet he is made to wear them. Some of these medals are real actual hearts.
9: The Extinction
The Extinction is the idea of an after without us. What that meant for seris could have been many things. Starvation, pollution, the gradual endangerment of our species.
But, nothing beats an explosive. He is tattered burnt scraps, bent frames, and a shadow. Broadcasting on dead airwaves and cracked vinyl. He does not speak, he is heard, he is not live. The message is recieved too late.
10: The Hunt
A concept of bloodshed and trophy sport of the rich. This seris cares not for it. He doesn't find pride in the mounted animals on the walls of his zone. He only takes joy in the chase. In the protests of his quarry, and the way the walls speed by, how his claws shred the carpet and earth, and how his lungs scream in time with prey, begging for breath from his sprint.

was thinking about this again and... i mean it’s not really the prompt but it did remind me of the ghostspeak-from-afar thing
anyway have this thing that was sitting in my notes for ages
.
.
“Once the doorway has been opened, it cannot be so easily closed again.”
Clockwork’s warning rings in his ears, over and over again, even as he helps the rest of his fright pack their things into the Spectre Speeder.
It is a risk. Perhaps not one he should be taking, as King-to-be, but...
There is an ache, a hollow place where another of their little ghostly family used to be. Something had ripped one of their own from them, and ghosts are not beings who let go easily. Team Phantom will not give up hope of finding their lost member any easier.
So they gather what they cannot leave behind, unsure when they will be back (if they will ever be able to return) and sequester it all away in the Speeder, along with everything they’d need to build a portal or three to the Ghost Zone, their weapons, and enough ectoplasm to keep a city running for thirty years; they say their goodbyes without fanfare and promise to call if they can get the Fenton Fones working where they’re going.
And then they leave, disappearing through the portal in the Fentons’ basement.
Clockwork said that Jason had been forcibly returned to whence he came. That is their only clue, except for the stories he used to tell - about a dark city, and a man dressed as a bat, and rooftops guarded by gargoyles.
They will start with that.
.
Jason is angry, and mourning, and half-convinced his memories of the time in between dying and living are little more than strange fantasies.
The other half of him already knows there is no way back, even if the memories are real.
(His fright is gone and it hurts- )
He tells no one of the memories. He speaks nothing of ghosts, and infinite realms, and a half-dead boy and his friends and the things they did together. Instead he settles back into a life he had left behind, a skin that feels too big for him and yet far too small, a world that is familiar in the worst of ways.
He goes along with the woman who dragged his soul back into his walking corpse until she turns him loose on Gotham, and he rages and kills and taunts the Bat with all his failures because he has nothing else.
He wrestles with the corrupted energy of the Lazarus Pit and does things he regrets. He stands on a precipice, balanced precariously between what he thinks he can live (hah) with and what he knows he cannot. He decapitates drug lords. He avoids the new Robin. He kills those who harm the innocent. He doesn’t interfere when he sees the bats in trouble. He claims Crime Alley as his turf (his haunt, wails something inside of him) and becomes a crime lord. He can’t help himself from leaving clues for the bats, that the boy they buried might not be truly gone.
He fights the Bat, once. It is violent and bloody and when it’s over Jason is left seething with rage that both is and is not his own.
So the next time they cross paths, he fights the Bat again.
And again.
And-
(There is a sound like a bell, like ice shifting, like whale song, like static and the caw of crows and a million other little things; the silent ringing of the space between stars, cold and heat and light and colour. It is a roar and a whisper and a siren’s call, a voice so familiar to him that it soothes the jagged, broken pieces inside of him.
It rings across Gotham, not heard so much as felt down to your very bones; once, twice. He is still, no breath in his lungs, and though Batman is mere yards away with hands on a batarang and a grapple, Jason pays him no attention: his sight is riveted on the horizon, searching for a figure he knows like his own soul.
The third time, Jason answers in kind: a trilling that is too loud to have come from his physical throat. It sounds like glass splintering and the silence after an explosion and the click-click-click of picking a lock, like the clang of metal against metal and the strange sound that lingers in the air afterward, like wings beating and the lyrical call of a lone bird, like a fire burning dry grass.
It contains all the things that have gone unsaid for the past two and a half years he has been alone. Pain and loneliness and anger at things he cannot change. And relief. So much relief that his limbs are weak with it.
They’re here. They’re here they’re here they’re here
They came for him.)

I raise YOU.
Danny after a few months of fixing Gotham's systemic social and interpersonal problems via crazy inventions gets curious on why the local ecto is all messed up and goes to visit the local pits hidden under the cursed swamp to see what's the deal is. Which kicks the Bats into overdrive because this must be it. This must be his move. Why else would he visit ground zero to half of Gotham's craziness.
Only for Danny to accidentally solve thousands of coldcases as the Pit/Swamp mixture acted as a stable portal to the ghost zone and the "tunnel" between the living realm and the ghost zone just literally clogged with the dead victims of crime, mud/drug concrete and corrupted ecto.
So after playing plumber to Gotham's own cursed swamp/death pit and clearing the blockage by helping the Bats solve thousands of cold cases the city literally flushes its bad vibes and starts to get healthy.
Hear me out! Danny finds his human form slowly getting more eldrich as he gets older (and more powerful) and ends up going to Gotham where people are way less likely to ask questions!
Sadly when the people of Gotham see Danny, oops my shadow has eyes now, Fenton they just assume he's gonna be a new Rouge!
Que the bat fam watching Danny waiting for him to make his move, over-analyzing everything he does. Mans can't even buy a new laptop without Bruce breathing down his neck about it
This would be an issue if Danny wasn't such a little troll, and he starts buying more obviously ominous things only to openly use them in improperly boring and normal ways. Like buys a death lazer and can be seen using it to make toast, buys a cursed box full of death themed artifacts and uses it as a coffee table, that kinda stuff.
Every time the bat's assume 'this is it!' And gets ready to take him down, only to see Danny setting up a new 'coat rack' made of kriptonite
Even better when they see him tinkering on some kind of doomsday device, the kind that looks super evil and dangerous and even has a red count down timer on the front and- it's a fucking air frier again! He already has three! Why does he keep making air friers?! Obviously this must be some kind of scheme
I raise you: Danny starts selling his things out to random citizens (they've all been intensely screened). The bats panic thinking this is an attempt to cripple Gotham in one fell swoop. Nope. Ms. Randall just really needed a new air purifier and Danny had a toxin dispenser that was just collecting dust.
I imagine though that he might start to notice that the bats are focusing on him a little too much which is a problem considering there are things going down in Gotham that actually need their attention. But at the same time, our resident ghost boy isn't ready to stop being a menace just yet. So what does he do? Kill too birds with one stone.
Whenever Danny catches wind of a new plot going down, he does something to draw the bats's attention to it. Two Face planning a robbery? Suddenly Danny is showing up to the bank everyday to work on the vault (he offered to reinforce it for free). The bats get so suspicious they focus hard on the bank and discover Two Face's plot before he can do anything.
The bats pat themselves on the back while Danny giggles in the background. Wonder how long it will take for them to figure out what's going on.

'IN CINEMA 16 FEBRUARY 2024: The distinction between dream and reality blurs in Andrew Haigh's new film. "All of Us Strangers" explores childhood memories, old traumas and newfound love with a strong emotional punch.
The British director has previously impressed with films such as "Weekend" and "45 Years", as well as the TV series "Looking", and here too creates some strong characters with flaming emotions, based on the novel "Strangers" (1987) by Taichi Yamada.
His main weapons are the actors Andrew Scott and Paul Mescal, who portray the desire between two men who struggle with themselves in different ways.
The film also moves into the domain of fantasy as a kind of ghost story, but with careful allusions and measured directorial moves.
"All of Us Strangers" primarily makes a deep impression as a purely human story, where what the characters feel is more important than what they concretely do.
Meets his deceased parents Reclusive writer Adam (Andrew Scott) is approached by Harry (Paul Mescal), who appears to be his only neighbor in an otherwise dark and empty London apartment building.
A connection develops between them that soon develops into an intimate relationship, where Adam gets to process his shameful grief towards the more open Harry.
At the same time, he is struggling to get started on his new script, and therefore takes the train to his childhood home in an attempt to get inspiration. There he incredibly meets his parents (Jamie Bell and Claire Foy), as they looked before they died in a car accident 30 years earlier.
Adam suddenly gets the opportunity to discuss his own upbringing, seen from an adult perspective, with his now-age mother and father. He also gets to talk about the difficult time after their death and he finally gets to confront them with his own sexual orientation.
Interesting discussions The story is primarily characterized by Adam's loneliness and unresolved problems. The empty building he lives in is a single big symbol of how alone he feels.
Therefore, the unexpected meeting with Harry also represents an exciting possibility, even if Adam initially rejects him. The subsequent discussions between them are occasionally characterized by certain clichés, without necessarily feeling any less true for that reason.
The even more unexpected meeting with his long-deceased parents, actually filmed in Andrew Haigh's own childhood home, could have been the starting point for an episode of "The Twilight Zone", but it's probably within the realm of possibility to suggest that the film gives an understanding that everything takes place in his own daydreams.
After the initial sensation has subsided, the stage is set for several interesting discussions about life both before and after the painful loss, with good reflections on the crucial relationship between parents and children.
Does not slip into the sentimental Andrew Scott is phenomenal in the lead role, where you sense Adam's pain, doubt and sorrow behind his dark eyes. Likewise, you feel Harry's longing and lust for life through Paul Mescal's fine-tuned playing.
Jamie Bell and Claire Foy also manage to play the parents in a believable way, even though they are set in an imaginative setting.
For anyone who has ever dreamed of conversations with someone they have lost, this will be an appealing fantasy that neither slips into the sentimental nor crosses the line into the tasteless.
And never have the lyrics in Frankie Goes to Hollywood's epic ballad "The Power of Love" had a greater effect than in this story's conclusion.
Therefore, "All of Us Strangers" is a strong and moving film that is recommended for all burning hearts.'

Get what you wished for
First time writing a prompt: DP X DC au “get what you wished for”
Au where Danny is the blood daughter of Batcat is between Dick and Jason's age. Selina gave up Dione Luna Wayne as she help she is unable to raise her and Bruce would paint a target on her daughter's back. As a memento, she left two stuffed cats, a letter and a bat toy to remember her by.
How the Fentons got Danny: Gotham is full of supernatural energy, with the Lazarus pits under it. The Fentons trying to find a place to create a bigger portal with LP juice,(experiments can fuck you up reproductively. Jazz was a struggle to birth.)
Jasmine comes across Baby Dione and duckling imprints on her. The Fentons don’t realize the baby was abandoned and named him Danny, not realizing the wrong gender( they never do), no claim to the baby, ours now.
The Fentons take some LP juice to find more LP juice, which in amity park, there is a bunch(uncorrupted) and the ley lines are weak there. (finds house over direct access to an unclaimed Lazarus pit, and builds a secret third basement to get more ectoplasm to fuel their obsession. LP is ectoplasm btw.)
Danny is genderfluid but presents themselves as FTM Trans.
Portal time!: Danny shows his friends, Sam and Tuck his parent's third child, the portal. Peer pressured by their only friends, Danny goes into the plugged, malfunctioning portal, only to get zapped where their soul and body are fused as one being, unable to separate. (Danny sort of blames his friends for their death but appreciates that they are sticking by them. But later realizes they are their ticket to excitement.)
Jasmine notices right away that something is wrong with Danny. (Jazz is much closer to Danny in this au)
Danny is more independent in this au. (make more friends with ghosts, help them than enemies)
Danny by extension is an atlas of the Infinite realms and Earth, is pretty much op. Picking up skills and powers like nobody's business, (immortality? maybe, BAMF? definitely) Clockwork as ghost parent, Ellie, Dan, the other clones and Jazz as their sisters/brothers/ children and being High Eldritch sovereign of the Infinite realms. ( Fuck u, Vlad, everyone can see ur evil corrupt ass, creepy and fake)
Dual Obsession is space and peace/protection, has a multi-core and is blessed by the zone itself.
Amity Park is in a time/paradox bubble where the events of Danny Phantom occur. (in all 3 cannon seasons, they have never celebrated a birthday, I‘ve noticed.)
How Bat fam meets Danny: It’s been a few years, Danny reveals to their parents his status they are excited and can’t wait to figure out how he survived. The GIW has bugged their home and raided their house as their want also figure out how Danny survived, and make Super-Soldiers. (tipped off by Vlad)
Danny and Jazz take this as a worst-case scenario and book it to Gotham by Danny's suggestion because their bio-fam lives there and Gotham energy fuck with ectoplasm readings. Danny starts to look for his mom Selina, but when the civilian bat fam sees them, they look like a young Martha Wayne. Jazz starts working in Arkham internship for her Psychology degree and Danny goes to Gotham U for College. Some of Danny’s Ghost friends follow them, i.e: Desiree.
Angst time: Bruce's wish vs. Damian's wish
Bruce's wish: "I wish I knew you earlier in life to protect you..."
Bruce is given Dione at a very young age and does his best at trying to raise her.
Dione is clueless about her family's trade secret. She is a civilian and sort of grew up alone. (Bruce was busy being batman and CEO of WE, Tim drake situation, baby alone in a big empty house.)
Bruce still adopts Dick, Jason, Tim, Cass, Steph, Damian and Duke. (Damian and duke after the event)
Loves what Bruce does for Gotham, doesn't like that Wayne Enterprise takes most of his time away from the family, and hates Batman because of the ouroboros he creates in Gotham. (Endless cycle of crime, rehab, corruption, murder{Thank you, xmarksthespotonthemilkyway for Supervillain DAD! lex Luthor})
Dione has many hobbies to pass the time while she waits for her family, mainly she paints, writes and spends time with Alfred who she considers her real father instead of Bruce. (Being Batman has downsides, people!)
Selina visits her daughter at the manor and is pissed at Bruce for treating their daughter like a rotting bird in a cage. (Expect it to be there when he returns, to see it leave or die because you took too long to cherish it.)
• ANGST+: After Jason's death and resurrection, The sibs try to get Jason to come to the manor to show Dione that he is alive, at first Dione doesn't believe him or them, but he convinced her otherwise. This is where she learns that their vigilantes. (Jason and Dione were friends that get along like a house on fire, but the house exploded and Dione felt something missing in her life.)
Bruce and Jason as Batman and Red Hood have a huge fight in one of the manor rooms destroying some property and shit. Turns out it was Dione's painting room, where she was secretly working on a portrait painting of the whole family (including the late Jason Todd) for Bruce's birthday, and it gets ruined.
Dione berates them for destroying her work and declares that she fucking hates this family and what they put her through all the time.
Decides she wants to stay with Selina instead. During this time, Dione realizes a way to end the ouroboros cycle and decides to kill the joker in a quiet way, for all the hell he put her and her family through. (Lures joker to an unmarked hill location away from people to a hole in the ground with a wooden casket and fires five rounds at him. He falls in gets covered and is buried alive as he slowly dies from gunshot wounds. She can't have what she wants, and neither will he.)
Dione, later reveals to the family that she killed the joker after he doesn't return to Arkham and can't be found.
Bruce sends her to jail.
The sibs are pissed at Bruce for doing that, while at the GCPD, Dione is taken advantage of and raped by corrupt cops.
The sibs try to get her out and get her to tell them where Joker's buried, but she takes as the cycle is still continuing and commits suicide in Jail. (In her letter to them, she tells her final wish is to be buried on a hill with a clear view of the night sky with a big tree in an unmarked grave, so she can be forgotten as a part of her family, but not Gotham.)
Bruce feels fucking guilty that he pushed his daughter to this point, Selina and Alfred are at an end with him telling him I told you so and feel that Dione should not have been born into this life. (distraught, but once Damian and Duke enter the picture, they treat them better as a family.)
Dione is fully dead and becomes a ghost.
Batman and co. meet the new ruler of the Infinite Realms, and Recognize the ruler, Dione chose to let go of her past and forget them as they have done to her.
Damian's wish: "I wish you were never our sister..."
This is technically the Canon bat fam x DP timelines, but with a few twists.
• Dick is the one holding the fam together. He is more tired and stressed than before, maybe graying early..? (stressed and secretly depressed.)
• Jason is more angst and vengeful than normal and fucking hates Bruce. (Jason is like kill the serial to end the cycle, avenge me, Bruce.)
• Tim despises Damian more so than usual and tolerates Bruce. (baby brother attempts to murder, gets light punishment and the victim is not okay.)
• Stephanie isn't really part of the bat family, goes by spoiler, and is studying to be a nurse. (quit being robin earlier, distant self from negative influence, dated Tim, now Cass.)
• Cass, while mute doesn't communicate well with the rest of the family, which leads her to be quiet more often. (not expressive.)
• Duke, the newest to the family, has a hard time understanding the rest of the family's issues with each other, fearing the family's reaction to him being a meta. ( Batman is more strict with no metas rule, Duke still becomes signal. )
• Alfred is still Canon, but more strict than normal. (Put up with this shit Alfred, but loves his adopted son and grandkids.)
Bruce is still Canon. Mostly negative, hard on himself, the family and everyone he interacts with, and wears a mask (not a physical one) to hide his emotions. Is more Batman than Bruce Wayne. (grunts don't meet clear communication Bruce!!!)
• Damian is still Damian in this verse with his pets but loses his friendship with Jon. (no metas in Gotham, Bruce tolerates Superman.)

So the overwhelming answer to my previous post seems to be « ma’am please hand over the lore and OCs » so…
*cracks knuckles* LET’S GO!
Intro
The world is a urban fantasy setting.
The universe is made up of a superposition of multiple dimensions on top of each others. Initially, these dimensions were completly separate from each others. But a long time ago, all of them « collapsed » on top of one another.
Nowadays, they are all interconnected, meaning that while they exist in separate planes of existence, you can go from one to another through portals or breaches within these planes, or using magic.
Most of the dimensions are still whole and continuous, but some « broke » into pieces during the collapse, so they exist as separate, broken pieces of the same plane. As a result, even though they’re technically the same plane, you can’t go from one end of these plane to the other directly. Instead you have to go through another plane to access the rest of the pieces.
Exemples of planes or realms :
- The human realm (also called Midgard)
- Faerie, the realm of the fae
- Takamagahara, the world of the kami
- The realms of Asgard, Vanaheim, Alfheim, Jotunheim, Svartalfheim, Nilfheim, Muspellheim and Helheim
(and many others but i need to brush up on my mythologies)
There’s two more « special » realms, which are the Rim and Limbo.
The Rim
The Rim, also known as Yddgrasil, acts as a border and intermediary between worlds. It’s what connects them to each other. When you go through a portal or a breach to acces another realm, you pass through the Rim to do so.
The Rim is made of many pieces of broken planes that don’t exist on their own, and fused together after the collapse. So it can look very different depending of where you are. Some areas are forests, swamps, deserts, oceans, ruins, old abandonned cities etc.
It’s inhabited by small, independant settlements regrouping varying species, mainly from beings that refuse to bend to the laws or reigns of other worlds. As such, the Rim is sort of a no man’s land, that isn’t ruled by anyone, and constitute an lawless zone.
On top of these inhabitants, some dangerous and rare creatures dwell here as well, remnant of worlds that no longer exist.
Limbo
Limbo is a realm that doesn’t exist in its own space. Instead, it is on top of all the other realms, kinda like a parallele universe. The appearance is mostly the same, the big difference is that only dead beings can enter limbo. Limbo separate all the worlds from the Abyss (see below). When someone dies, their spirit goes to limbo to then go to the Abyss. However, the trip from limbo to the Abyss is a dangerous one. Souls are fragile, and by being lost in limbo for too long, or hust by suffering too much during their life or just being terrible poeple, their souls can get corrupted. That’s were demons and ghosts come from. They feed off of energy, and souls are made of energy, so they hunt the souls of the deceased to devour them before they reach the abyss.
The only living beings that can reach Limbo are poeple in a coma, though most forget everythig about limbo once they wake up, as well as some surnats like valkyries, who escort the deads to the abyss and protect them from the danger of limbo. Other beings have a connection to limbo, despite not being able to access it, such as banshees or some psychics.
Sometime, the limit between limbo and other realms weakens, usually when bad stuff happens in those realms, like wars and such, as well as during some times of the year, like Samhain. In those case, demons and souls/ghosts can access the other realms, and might get stuck there or just refuse to go back to limbo.
The Abyss
Not a realm per se, it’s more of a force, that exist all around. It’s the fundation of the world, what it is made of. All energy, life, and magic comes from the Abyss. When people die and travel through limbo and reach the abyss, they disapear. No one really knows what happens to souls that join the abyss, if they cease to exist, or reach an after life…
The human world
It’s a little special compared to others, as it has some close connection the the abyss. This is what’s called Ley lines, where the abyss « bleeds » into the human world. As such, these are places of strong magical power, and they attract magically sensitive beings.
The ley lines don’t exist in other realms. It’s because when the Collapse happened, it’s believed that the human realm was the one all the other realms collapsed onto. So it’s the fundations of the world, base of it.
In the human realm, surnats exist among regular humans, usually blending completely in their society, though there exist some communities of surnats hidden in the world. Even if they blend amongst human, they still belong to the surnat society. Witches belong in covens, were-beings in packs, vampires in clans… And all species together belong to Cerberus, the governing body of the surnat living in the human world (though not all of them are happy about it).
The main goal of Cerberus is to maintain peace, as such, their mission is to keep the existence of surnats secret from humans, monitor and maintain laws etc.. there’s multiple specialised corps in Cerberus : police, ambassadors, diplomats, healers, soldiers etc…
Most of the story and most of my OCs live in a city situated on a ley line, called Falls Creek, in Maine.

One shot outline for Child of Hel
(let's just completely leave out infinity war and endgame we don't need that)
After the fall of Pariah Dark, all of the ghosts thought they were free from the cruelty that came with a tyrant.
Almost all of the ghosts thought that with Pariah back in the coffin of forever sleep, they would have free reign. Only the ancients were unassured as they knew the truth. While Pariah was known as the king he had no real claim to the throne.
That right is reserved for the Queen.
Hel
The ruler of the zone wasn't only a person but the realm itself. Every drop of ectoplasm comes from her and everyone there is her subject.
With Ragnarok having come and gone the zone was back to having major changes. With her rule forcibly being ended the zone is falling apart.
Hel is gone and The ghost zone is falling into disarray. Due to Danny being the one Who defeated pariah dark he is next in line for the throne. Not that he wants that.
Danny's creation is a lot more difficult than most of the others. He became a ghost through an accident. He went into his parents newly created portal to the Ghost Zone. When his parents tried to start it the portal just fizzled out and never came to life.
His parents life work went down the drain. They started to become depressed and before he knew it they were fighting. Danny couldn't take it anymore and went down to the lab to do something about it. He put on his hazmat suit and went into the portal. It was so dark in there and he was unable to see a thing. He was fumbling around and tripped over a loose wire on the floor and tripped over. He put his hand on the side to steady himself and came in contact with a button. His hand pressed down on it and there was a great big flash and a tremendous amount of pain.
Electricity and ectoplasm ran through his body forever changing it. The accident ripped out half of his DNA and replaced it with ectoplasm. With the ectoplasm of the zone running through his veins and her being a part of his DNA, Hel essentially became his otherworldly mother. When he bonded with the ghost zone during the accident, he became a part of it, like his mother before him.
With Danny being her child he is the only one who can take over for her, and the other ghosts wouldn't have a leg to stand on to deny his right as also being the defeater of Dark Pariah. The problem with this is that Danny isn't ready for that responsibility. But with the Underworld in disarray and him refusing to take the throne The balance of the world becomes an issue.
Ghost are showing up all over the world as without a ruler. With no one in charge none of the newly made ghost know what has happened to them and they are stuck in the world of the living.
With such a large amount of ghost being around the living the world started to take notice.
The avengers get called onto the scene to figure out why. Thor and Loki tell the others what happened with hel and at that point the two Aesir realize their mistake.
When trying to bring back Hel from Ragnarok in a ritual something goes wrong and instead of her the one who appears is Danny. He and everybody else is totally confused. That is until a ghost appears.
To the avengers shock the little boy who showed up in the tower wasn't frightened by the sight But was instantly sympathetic and tries to help them.
Danny end up making a portal to the zone and let's the ghost in and some others he happens to see in the area.
One of the avengers knock Danny out afterwards and he was taken to the med bay where Dr. Banner runs some test on him.
(they were scared that he was an evil replacement for hel sent for revenge)
To their surprise what they get back is the fact that Danny is made up between a mixture of human DNA and ectoplasm. The ectoplasm in Danny's DNA closely matches the DNA of Loki and Thor.
They just found out that Loki and Thor are uncles
(Or going by mythos Loki is a grandpa)
Danny wakes up scared and wants an explanation but Nick fury (or is it) arrives before they can talk to him and interrogates Danny
Danny held out for a long time before he budged
Danny revealed that his parents were scientist and that he got into an accident making him become what he was. Fury wanted a reason why his DNA match those of Asgard but this is the first that Danny is hearing of it.
Due to an explanation given by Dr. banner it is shown that half of the DNA Danny's body was erased by the ectoplasm and he was given a new set. Making Danny the child of Hel through the accident (blood adoption).
They wanted to know if Danny knows how to get the rest of the ghost off of earth and back into the zone. Danny is reluctant but tells them that the society is collapsing because Helis gone.
They want to know who her replacement is and he tells him that he is supposed to be because of reasons XYZ mentioned earlier. Danny tells them that he doesn't want the job and he's trying to find someone else to do it.
All Danny wants to do is finish school and get a girlfriend. Not run an alternate dimension.
Danny ends up going back to the zone and agrees to be a temporary leader until they can find another fit. Danny figures out he doesn't know how to be a ruler and he goes back to the avengers to ask Loki and Thor for tips on ruling (temporary!) they agree and teach him about what being a royal and being part of the nobility means.
Months go bye and hel reemerges. She goes back to fight Thor and Loki for revenge of her temporary demise.
When Danny figures out that she wants to kill everyone and bring about the end of the world he decides to team up with the avengers to go against his blood adoptive parent. The avengers and Danny win causing Danny to end up taking the job permanently and becoming the new king and demigod ruler of the zone.

Wanna hear another of baby Robin’s never written DP fic AUs? So when I was a freshman in high school and on the tail end of my first DP hyperfixation, I also became obsessed with the Indiana Jones trilogy (not to date myself but this was before that awful fourth movie). I had a pretty decent outline so here’s what I remember* (IE the bare bones are same and I uh tweaked it a bit)
So! It starts in an AU world where the ghosts attacked the human world and caused society to splinter a bit. Neither side won but they kind of aggressively co-exist, humans interacting in the Zone and ghosts haunting the real world. During the invasion, Jack, Maddie and Jazz were killed by one of the powerful ghosts who led the initial uprising, Plasmius. Danny had been young (I think I said 10) and had hid, watching his family be murdered, unable to do anything. It really affects Danny and he vows to find the ghost that killed his family.
Years later, Danny is in his late teens-possibly early twenties and he is an experienced ghost archeologist (I distinctly remember this title being in my notes lmao). He spends a lot of time researching ghosts and working with them, he’s as well known in the Zone as he is in the human world. He has many ghostly allies as he primarily seeks to understand ghosts and find a way for humans and ghosts to coexist but also not so secretly hunting Plasmius. His sponsor and basically foster parent is Vlad Masters, his parents’ former partner. He’s very encouraging of Danny’s pursuits and need to find the six fingered man Plasmius and often provide information.
The first arc would vaguely follow the plot of Raiders with Danny getting a tip about Plasmius seeking to open Pariah’s sarcophagus in order to gain the power to take the human world once and for all. Danny recruits Valerie to help him stop the ghost king from being unleashed. Val had trained under his parent as a hunter and she and Danny aren’t on the best of terms given how generally passive he is with ghosts. Uh middle bits, middle bits. The sarcophagus was opened but they managed to prevent the ghost king from awakening. Danny and Val part as friends and Danny gets his first look of Plasmius before he vanishes. It spurs him onward.
The second arc followed Temple of Doom as Danny ventured deeper than he’d gone before into the Ghost Zone. He finds the girl he’d crushed on in high school, Paulina, is working as something of an indentured servant in a Zone bar. Danny rescues her along with Danielle, a quirky girl living on her own within the Zone. Danny, Paulina and Dani get trapped by a ghost cult of uh some sort. Danny is suspicious of Dani who not only looks like him but has weird knowledge of both him and ghosts. They all escape, Danny risks his life to protect Dani despite her behavior. She reveals as thanks that she’s not really human, she’s a hybrid clone made using Danny’s DNA by Plasmius to throw Danny off his trail. She flees deeper into the Ghost Zone to escape both Danny and Plasmius leaving Danny wondering how the ghost got his hands on Danny’s DNA in the first place and why.
The third arc revolves around, you guessed it, the Last Crusade. Danny can feel himself getting closer and closer to Plasmius. He’s realizing that things about the ghost aren’t adding up entirely and that he has a special interest in Danny though he can’t figure out why. Masters, sensing Danny’s frustrations, finds another ghost archeologist, Samantha Manson. Danny and her click right away and make good progress. The existence of Danielle proves there can be a middle ground between human and ghost so Danny thinks Plasmius may be in that category and he may be closer than he thinks. Suddenly Danny is nervous of the people around him and for good reason. Sam ends up being another spy to lure Danny into a trap by Plasmius. He promised her access to so much ghost knowledge if only she led the boy along. She instantly regrets it and goes to get reinforcements to save Danny.
Danny awakens in his parents’ old home, uninjured and confused. He soon discovers that Masters and Plasmius are one in the same, a human with ghost powers created by Jack and Maddie. The ghost who killed his family, who Danny has been hunting half his life, was also the man who gave him a home afterwards. The cruel irony infuriates Danny and he confronts Vlad. He asks why he spared Danny, why the charade? Vlad killed the Fentons in a rage when he learned they were trying to make a portal to the GZ (the same portal that half killed Vlad). He turned on humanity as part of his broader revenge and planned to use the Fenton Portal as a way to mobilize an army. To his fury, he learns that the Fenton portal was DNA activated. That’s when he discovers that he accidentally left one Fenton alive and takes Danny in. Only, somewhere along the way, Vlad comes to love Danny as a son and he’s afraid that activating the portal will hurt/kill Danny. Vlad made the clones to try and find a way to activate the portal without hurting Danny, Danielle was an attempt who fled before she could be killed.
Sam shows up about then with reinforcements, human and ghostly allies Danny has acquired over the years. Vlad is split between wanting to kill Danny for his interference and just, being unable to hurt his sorta son. Plasmius is too powerful and ghosts are wearing out being in the human realm, access to the Ghost Zone would help. Danny doesn’t really think, he just activates the portal and receives a massive shock of ectoplasm to his system. Danny Fenton steps in, Danny Phantom steps out. Vlad is devastated bc he felt Danny die and, deciding the battle isn’t worth it right now, retreats. Only Danny isn’t wholly dead instead a human/ghost like Vlad.
But yeah the story would have essentially ended once Danny became half-ghost with the implication that he would confront and stop his sorta foster father and put the Zone and earth back in order. Blah Blah something about Vlad being the human/ghost to throw the worlds out of whack and Danny, with his foot in both worlds even before his powers, being the one to help the worlds coexist.
#danny phantom#danny phantom au#I swear on 10 bibles the notes outline I had was called Dandiana Jones bc its an absolutely stupid name#honestly this idea was surprisingly interesting and well thought out for 14-15 year old me#I remember being really intrigued by the idea of Danny having ghostly adventures pre-powers#that getting his powers would be *the* end and he was acting as a sort of bridge long before he got them#also the fucked up relationship of Vlad & Danny good job past brain that one hurts#also just the idea of like ghost archeology (as stupid as that name is)#just danny understanding it was ONE ghost who hurt his family and using that anger to gain better clarity into ghost culture#pointedly refusing to be a *hunter* and instead keeping an open heart and mind#sometimes strange things happens when fixations converge

If you’d thought that Hoseok’s attitude would change towards you after you’d saved his life, you were sadly mistaken. He immediately retreated back into his own room, only leaving to seek you out when he needed to feed. In some ways, you felt like a walking Capri-sun.
You didn’t let it bother you too much – after all, the others were more than willing to entertain you. Yoongi was teaching you piano, Jin was teaching you how to cook, and so on. You’d taken Namjoon’s advice to start exploring new things while you were still living with them, and he was right – all of them were so knowledgeable in the areas they were interested in that it was like talking to encyclopedias. It made sense, of course, since they’d all been around for so long that they’d been able to experience the evolution of their various fields firsthand.
It was only now that you had all the time in the world to learn about different things that you realized how empty your life had been in the Guild. It had been all you knew for the past twenty-odd years of your life. Life had been little more than learning the Code, physical training and all the emergency skills you would need. You’d held a gun before you held a pen for the first time.
With so much time now, you wondered what your life would have been like if you hadn’t been orphaned and taken in by the Guild. Maybe you would have become a writer, or a doctor.
Then again, everything came back to the fact that everyone lived in fear because of the vampires that roamed the night. Hardly anyone could be found on the streets at night, and even during the day, no one dared walk too close to the dark alleys where the vampires hid out. In a different life, one where you hadn’t had the benefit of extensive hand-to-hand combat training and a gun, you might not even have lived to adulthood.
With a sigh, you wrapped the throw around yourself more tightly as you frowned down at the book you were holding. Namjoon had recommended this, but somehow you weren’t in any mood to read, caught up in your maudlin thoughts.
The knock on the door provided a welcome distraction, and you shut the book as you called out, “It’s open.”
Hoseok stepped into your room, closing the door quietly behind him.
“Oh, you’re hungry again, aren’t you?” you said, thinking back to the last time he’d sought you out.
He nodded, and padded silently over to you. All of the vampires walked without making any sort of noise, and it had creeped you out a little at first, but you were getting used to it now.
The smell of blood, on the other hand, still made you nauseated. You usually held your breath for as long as possible while Hoseok was feeding, and he was considerate enough to close the wounds immediately after he was done. Still, this might never become your favourite activity.
That wasn’t an absolute no, though, because you had to admit to yourself as Hoseok came to sit next to you on the couch that the feeding was an almost erotic activity. The way he had to draw close, put his mouth on your neck… the line between prey and partner tended to blur in that instant.
It was ridiculous, you knew, and certainly a consequence of being touch-starved here at the manor. Back at the Guild, physical intimacy was just a way to scratch an itch, and hookups among the hunters were common. After all, none of you really expected to be able to get married, have kids, or any of that stuff – death in combat was the norm. Why not enjoy the time you had on this earth?
You swallowed as Hoseok sat down next to you, perched sideways on the couch. Putting your book aside, you turned to face him, trying your best to regulate your breathing and heart rate. It was all easier if you remained calm, you’d found out quickly.
Still, you couldn’t help but grit your teeth as your eyes followed his hand, reaching out to touch your neck. His skin was warm against yours, and he ran his thumb along the side of your throat, gently tracing his favoured spot.
As he leaned in, you tipped your head back to give him more room, your eyes focusing on the ceiling as your hands clenched into fists in your lap. This was normal for your feeding sessions, and initially it had been to stop yourself from pushing him away, but now you did it to hold yourself still so you didn’t do something asinine like pull him closer, which was guaranteed to make things awkward. After all, even though he was the only one bonded to you in this way, Hoseok was still by far the most aloof of the vampires.
He got close enough that you could feel his breath on your neck, and you sank your teeth into your lower lip to prevent any moaning, although you couldn’t quite stop the shaky breath you let out.
“I’m going to bite you now,” Hoseok murmured in a low voice, conscientiously warning you in the instant before it happened.
The subsequent feedings had been nothing like the first time, when he’d been almost savage in his hunger. He was gentle almost to a fault as he cradled the back of your neck to keep you from moving, carefully puncturing your skin with his teeth – and okay, this part did hurt a little, but no more than the blood donations you’d made every couple of weeks to the Guild infirmary – and then drinking. With how soft his lips were on your neck, you could almost forget what he was actually doing. You sank back into the couch cushions as he drank, feeling a little weak and dizzy… not that you hated it, the lightheadedness making you feel like you were floating, and it was only Hoseok, his body braced over yours, that was keeping you grounded.
When he was done and slid his tongue up your neck, over the puncture wounds, you couldn’t hold back the soft whimper, or the way your hands automatically flew to him, settling over his sides as your fingers curled into the fabric of the shirt he was wearing. It was like in that instant, instinct overruled all reason.
A second later, you realized what you’d done, and your cheeks burned as you yanked your hands away from him. He sat up and away from you, determinedly avoiding eye contact with you.
“Right, uh, I guess that’s that, then,” you said with forced cheer, trying to break the awkward silence that fell over the room.
“Yes, thank you,” Hoseok responded, standing up stiffly, his arms locked by his sides. He bowed perfunctorily then made his escape as quickly as possible.
Finally alone now, you let out a gusty sigh and tilted your head back to rest against the back of the couch, staring up at the ceiling without really taking anything in.
How horrifyingly humiliating, you thought, shutting your eyes tightly and cringing. How could you have exhibited such a stunning lack of control?
Still, even though you didn’t want to admit it, you felt the ghost of his touch even till now. His body under your hands had been warm and solid; his gentle touch on your neck made your skin tingle.
There was definitely something there that shouldn’t be present.
-------------------------------------------
It was like something clicked in your head that day, and for the first time, you realized that you were living with seven incredibly attractive men. It was terribly distracting too, especially since you were now spending more time in close proximity with them. Piano lessons with Yoongi, cooking with Jin, working out with Jungkook (it shouldn’t have surprised you that they had a full gym in the manor, but you’d been wowed by how comprehensive the equipment was anyway) – all these activities filled your nights with so much learning and joy that you’d never experienced at the Guild.
As the summer months stretched on, you took to sunbathing in the gardens sometimes during the day, after realizing that you were starting to get unhealthily pasty and were surely well on your way to a serious vitamin D deficiency. You were settling quite nicely into your life of leisure, you thought. Behind the manor gates, it was easy to pretend that none of the horrors happening right outside your little oasis were actually real. Instead, you occupied yourself with zoning out while watching Yoongi’s fingers dance across the keys of his grand piano, imagining all the nasty things his dexterous fingers could be doing to you instead, or watching Jungkook do deadlifts while shirtless.
One of your favourite things to do, however, was watch Jin cook in the kitchen. Not only did he make the tastiest food you’d ever tasted – not that you had much of a frame of reference – but watching him move around the kitchen, the muscles underneath his shirt rippling as he chopped vegetables or flipped the food in the pan, was strangely both soothing and arousing. It felt like domesticity, like home, like something you’d never even thought was within the realm of possibility for you when your life had been about killing as many vampires as possible before one got you too.
Would it really be okay, you wondered, leaning against the island in the kitchen as you watched Jin make something called mala stir fry, if you just embraced what was in front of you now? Put down the burden of protecting the people of Seoul from the vampires and just… what? Engaged in an orgy with all seven of them? Get passed around between them, one for every day of the week?
“I can hear your brain back there,” Jin said as he poured the mixture of spices into the wok. The smell of the Szechuan peppers immediately wafted up, and you sneezed a few times before sniffling.
“Can’t hear anything over the sound of me sneezing,” you bit back, and he laughed, impervious to the spice that was currently making your nose itch and your eyes water.
“Come try it,” he invited, scooping a piece of mushroom out of the wok and holding it out for you. You came to stand next to him, your hip leaning against the counter, and he held the spatula in front of your face.
“This is good,” you mumbled around the morsel of food, feeling your tongue and lips tingle and turn numb from the spice. You swallowed, then piped up again. “You know this is way too much food for one person though, right?” you asked, looking down at the food in the wok.
Jin followed your gaze back down then sighed, his shoulders slumping. “I keep forgetting,” he complained. “It’s so hard to cook for just one person.”
You laughed. “You’ve always been a vampire, haven’t you? How many people were you cooking for before?”
“Oh, tons,” he said, running his spatula through the wok. “Back in the day I had a restaurant, and people would line up ‘round the block to taste my food. It was the best,” he sighed wistfully.
“How come you stopped?” you asked, peering up at him as you held the tip of the spoon to your mouth, trying to get the last of the sauce. It really was addictive.
Immediately, Jin’s body language changed. His expression grew shuttered and his shoulders seemed to draw up closer to his ears, as if he was stressed. “A lot of things changed,” he muttered evasively.
Curious, you wanted to ask more questions, but he turned off the flame and started plating the stir fry. “Can you get the rice?” he asked, still facing the counter and not looking at you.
“All right.” You opened the rice cooker and scooped out the rice into a bowl, but you couldn’t forget about his mysterious words and the way his entire demeanor had changed. A vampire having a restaurant? That thought sounded too ludicrous to even imagine, but why would Jin lie to you?
Come to think of it, sometimes the boys would absently refer to a time “before” and drop references to a world that had been so different. Travelling, owning businesses, socializing with humans… what had changed? What was going on?
---------------------------------------
You were still mulling over it a week later. Before, you’d have picked up your phone and texted Jennie about it, asking what she thought about the whole situation, but now you sensed that was no longer an option. Instead, you turned the problem over and over in your mind, trying to examine it from all angles.
It was hard, though. You didn’t have much practice solving puzzles beyond the most efficient way to dispatch an attacking vampire.
Still, your focus on Jin’s mysterious words from that night meant that you weren’t focusing on other things, like the fact that you’d had an apparently uncontrollable craving for chocolate ice cream two nights ago, or the slight tenderness of your chest.
Could anyone blame you? You’d been on birth control that suppressed your period for the past few years, to minimize the disruption to your training and hunting schedule. Nothing put a mark on your back like blood leaking out of your vagina in the middle of the street while you were trying to be stealthy, after all.
You were going to regret missing all the signs soon, though.
As you felt safer in the manor, you’d started arming yourself less when you left the room. First the knives in your boots went, then the rifle on your back, and the various guns you’d kept in your coat and strapped to your thighs, one by one. Now you only kept a small revolver on you, more out of habit than anything else. Old habits died hard, after all, and you hadn’t been without a weapon since you were a child.
Dinner – or maybe breakfast? – with all of the boys (sans Hoseok, who usually ate… separately) was an almost nightly affair, and you’d come to enjoy the experience. Maybe it was something that the families from the books you’d read shared, you always thought, and the thought of doing something so normal made the lost little girl inside you happy.
This evening, you were dressed in your usual ensemble of a black T-shirt and black skinny jeans, and as you strapped your hip holster on, you thought absently that maybe you should get some new clothes. Now that everything in your closet didn’t have to be so functional, you could get some cute, pretty outfits, maybe something colourful…
With a small smile at your reflection, you turned and walked out of your room.
The boys were already gathered in the dining room when you got there, and you smiled at them as you walked over to your seat. You’d been smiling more recently, Jimin noted, the tension in your shoulders loosening gradually as you became more comfortable around them.
As elated as he was by the thought, he wondered darkly how quickly you would run if you found out that every single one of them could hear your heart beating in your chest, the quiet sound of the blood rushing through your veins, coming so tantalizingly close to the surface of your skin in your neck, your wrists…
Still, he managed to keep the hunger from darkening his gaze as it followed you to your seat. He wasn’t the worst off of his brothers, and he looked over, concerned, at Jungkook. The youngest was the one having the most trouble, and everyone was concerned about him, but he seemed to be holding it together fine for now.
“Hi everyone,” you chirped as you pulled your chair out. Right before you sat down, though, a little glob of blood slid out of you, soaking into your panties. You didn’t notice at first, but the others sure did.
Jungkook, the worst off, immediately turned his head towards you, his nostrils flaring as he stared you down like a predator. Startled by the sudden movement, you looked over at him, your hands still braced on the table as you prepared to sit. “Jungkook-ssi, what’s wrong?” you asked, your brow furrowing in concern. He didn’t look so good, with his clenched jaw and wide eyes.
“Fuck,” he snarled as he launched himself across the table at you. Startled yells sounded from around the table as the others realized what was happening, but none of them were close enough to stop him immediately.
In a flash, you’d scrambled away, knocking the chair over in the process. “Jungkook, stop!” you screamed, abruptly terrified. He always seemed so harmless and lovable despite his hulking size, with his big doe-like eyes and wide grins, but now you saw the apex predator that he was.
He didn’t even blink in response, and your gun was in your hand in the next second. When the appearance of your weapon didn’t even slow him down, you fired a warning shot into his shoulder, unable to bring yourself to go for a fatal shot immediately.
He paused slightly, a pained snarl crossing his face as his opposite hand came up to cradle his injured shoulder. Then he readjusted, his gaze focusing on you once again with laser-sharp intent.
“Stop,” you said, your trembling hand moving the gun up. The next shot would hit him between his eyes. You could feel your heart pounding in your ears, the adrenaline coursing through your veins as the years of training that you’d thought were becoming obsolete in your new life roared back. The instinct to squeeze your fingers and end it warred with your memories of Jungkook, acting like a cute, innocent boy, so human, so like someone you had to protect. He was almost on top of you when you finally pulled the trigger, closing your eyes tight.
There was a loud thud, and then a moment of silence. You opened your eyes, lowering your arm to your side, your revolver dangling loosely from your lax grip. You expected to see Jungkook – or what was left of him, anyway – lying on the floor in front of you, his head exploded and a huge mess on the carpet.
Instead, you saw him on the ground, struggling against his brothers who were holding him down, still snarling and snapping at you.
“Y/n-ie, are you okay?” Taehyung, who was still standing next to you, reached out to touch your shoulder, but you flinched away from him, looking pale.
“Oh, God,” you breathed shakily, dropping the gun on the floor. It hit the carpet with a soft thud. “Holy fuck.”
Jin stood up, releasing Jungkook’s torso, and disentangled himself from his brothers, getting to his feet in front of you. He was the one who’d tackled Jungkook, you noted numbly. You could tell from his earlier position. “Y/n, you look pale,” he said, ducking down slightly to look more carefully at you.
You took a step back, putting some distance between the two of you. Then, without a word, you fled the dining room, sprinting back to your room and slamming the door shut behind you.
It was only when the door was shut, bolted, and barricaded with a chair that you felt safe, sinking onto the floor. Injeolmi meowed at you as he padded over, and you patted him absently.
You’d made the mistake of letting your guard down around them, and it had almost cost you your life.

Can you please talk more about valerie red huntress symbiote au ? Just general thoughts on how it would work ? I know barely anything about Venom but imagine valerie would get the symbiote from Axion Labs.
OH GOD OH NO OH GOD OH NO I DIDN'T MEAN FOR THIS TO BE AN AU I JUST WANTED TO DUNK ON BUTCH HARTMAN AND HIS PLAGIARIZING HABIT AND MY VENOM OBSESSION
First of all: I will be referring to the symbiote as Venom, a la movie canon, because I have a deep and passionate loathing for the past three years of Venom comic canon, do not get me started on this because I will not be able to stop.
Okay firstly: YES Venom totally comes from Axion Labs. I have not watched Danny Phantom since it was actually airing so I'm definitely checking the ole wiki as I write this but apparently Axion Labs was its own thing and then VladCo bought it? Idk how Venom got to Axion Labs, but it got there and the scientists were like "idk wtf to do with this" and just sorta. Put it in a drawer with a label that says "weird space goo" and forgot about it. (That is VERY MUCH a thing that happens in science labs you would not BELIEVE the shit you can run into if you start poking around old storage objects in labs.) And then VladCo buys Axion, and Intern Valerie is helping organize things and she finds the jar of lost space goo. Idk what happens after that; maybe she determines it's some flavor of alive and passes it to Vlad under the assumption that it's a Weird Space Ghost, maybe she drops it and Venom escapes and bonds with her. I don't know, the details of how they get together aren't important IMO, the important part is the interactions between symbiote and host.
Valerie is still in high school and this is very important to me. Depending on what you do and don't consider canon, Venom is between several thousand and six hundred million years old. Depending on what you do and don't consider canon, Venom has BEEN TO EARTH BEFORE! I am of the opinion that Venom is actually extremely knowledgeable about physics and chemistry and other like, not-Earth-specific things, because they're old as balls. So imagine you're in high school and you're in AP World learning about the Vikings, and you hear this bass-ass voice in your head go actually it wasn't like that at all and suddenly you're RELIVING some other creature's memories of fighting Vikings. Or you're in high school and you're in biology watching a video about octopus camouflage and this voice in your head goes we can do that too and your arm turns "invisible". Imagine you're on your period and you ran out of Advil and you think to yourself "I swear to god if this lunch line doesn't move faster I'm gonna eat the kid in front of me" and the voice in your head goes no, eat the one behind you, he looks juicier LIKE WHAT THE FUCK
Valerie and Venom get together way after Danny becomes Phantom. So Valerie has this huge crush on Danny, but then she also hates Phantom's guts. Venom has senses that humans don't so they can tell that Fenton is Phantom, and Venom regrets their life choices re:bonding with a human, because oh no, these bald apes are so fucking stupid. Every day Venom considers informing Valerie about the secret identity thing. Every day Venom remembers that Phantom's ghostly wail is extremely deadly to them specifically. Every day Venom does not tell Valerie about the secret identity thing.
Most of town is probably at least a little convinced that the huntress is some sort of weirdass ghost, because humans aren't that big. I headcanon Valerie as being short but muscular as hell, around 5'4". Venomized Valerie? Pushing 7' and built like Athena. People assuming she's a weirdass ghost pisses Valerie off SO MUCH, and it pisses Venom off too though for different reasons (I AM TAKING VERY GOOD CARE OF MY HOST SHE IS ONE HUNDRED PERCENT ALIVE I AM INSULTED BY YOUR INSINUATIONS THAT SHE IS IN ANY WAY DECEASED)
Oh hey wait, if Venom can tell the Dannys are the same person, Venom can also tell that the Vlads are the same person. Vlad has never demonstrated anything along the lines of a ghostly wail, so his secret identity is NOT safe and Venom tells Valerie what's what. Valerie is so disturbed, but then she decides to give Vlad the Homophobic Rich Grandpa treatment and pretends to go along with what he wants so she can get that sweet sweet tech, then she turns right around and does whatever she wants when he's not looking. Maybe Venom (as in the big lady) and Red Huntress are assumed to be two different people because Valerie works for Vlad as Red but then does her own stuff as Venom?
Carnage. Oh god, Carnage. So, the Carnage symbiote (often referred to as Red, I love a coinkydink) is Venom's offspring. In the comics, it is possible for a host to experience sympathetic morning sickness and shit in advance of the symbiote spawning. Please imagine you're in high school in a small town, and you are nauseous as fuck and having weird dreams and cannot eat enough chocolate (chocolate is a good source of phenylthylamine, which is a neurotransmitter that symbiotes need to eat) and one of your shitty high school friends goes "omg are you PREGNANT" and you know that whatever you say, everybody in the universe is gonna hear it. You've never had sex in your life but you still have a moment of panic like OH GOD AM I THE NEXT VIRGIN MARY SHIT and then your body roommate is like actually, this one's on me. DO YOU LOSE YOUR WHOLE GODDAMN MIND OR DO YOU LOSE YOUR WHOLE GODDAMN MIND. "wait Venom I thought you were a guy" "why would you think that i have a concept of gender" "...your voice is deep?" "humans are so fucking stupid"
The big weaknesses of symbiotes are fire and certain frequencies of sound. Venom is scared shitless of Ember McClain, send tweet.
There's a re-appearing ghost who hosted Venom when they were alive. This could be a canon character or an OC. Either way, the interactions maximally play up the "awkward ex" thing.
A better source of the phenylthylamine Venom needs to live is BRAINS. This is now a ghost hunger AU also and Valerie catches Phantom noshing on like, a ghost deer or something. Cue Venom SEE IF HE CAN DO IT WHY CAN'T WE
Hey Venom's an alien who is old as balls, it's called the INFINITE REALMS, there's probably LOTS of alien ghosts with opinions about symbiotes
One day Phantom gets hurt really badly and Valerie feels bad enough to go save his ass (if only because the only person that gets to kill Phantom is HER tyvm). Venom is very Exasperated Parent about all of these fool human children so they just. Pick him up by the scruff like a disgruntled kitten and drag him to safety.
Venom has a very, very low opinion of the Doctors Fenton. Venom knows one (1) thing about humans and that is Protecc The Children and these morons are continuously shooting at their own child. The only reason Venom has not eaten them is because a) Valerie insists that humans are off menu and b) Danny's ghostly wail is scary. Also the only competent ghost hunters in this town seem to be Sam, Tucker, Danny, Jazz, and Valerie. Valerie why are the only competent people in this town children. "i wish i FUCKIN KNEW"
I'm now headcanoning that Valerie has a Very Southern grandma or auntie just to have an excuse for Venom to learn Very Southern expressions. Please imagine doing something stupid and the alien that lives in your brain stem just goes "oh bless your heart". Please imagine that some asshole yoinked the whole town into the Ghost Zone again and the alien that lives in your brain stem is like "dear jesus give me patience" I just think that would be funny.
