Side characters I love for Trilogy Appreciation Week.

The list is obviously not complete and some obvious choices (like Mouse, David Archer, Charr or the teenager and the turian from the Citadel) aren't there (they're in my heart, making me cry).

Khalisah Bint Sinan al-Jilani: My favorite quote from the trilogy comes from a conversation between Shepard and Khalisah, where they tell her: "Keep asking the hard questions." I think Khalisah seeks justice in an injust world. That's my interpretation at least, and it seems to me that she has suffered a lot. And she's angry, because a lot of the time it feels like she's screaming into the void. But she needs to hear this from Shepard and I think Khalisah will go on to keep asking hard questions, as she should.

Gianna Parasini: A classic!!!! I love the way she was so eager to destroy Anoleis but just waited and bid her time. She seemed so sweet talking about the board and how may she help Shepard? The entire time she's like 💅and 👀. And I'm always happy to see her in ME2

The salarian who makes this face during Miranda's loyalty mission. He makes me laugh SO HARD every time

Din Korlack: I'm not a huge fan of his actions in ME3 but I do think the Din we meet in ME1 is one of the first characters who dare to oppose the whole "humans are wonderful, they deserve a seat on the Council" narrative and I always appreciated his character for that. He has good points about the Council, and the way they treat species like the volus and the elcor.

The salarian who asks Shepard to stop touching the console on Sur'Kesh. I love when NPCs are given lines that you remember and actually want to hear.

Donovan Hock: the man is horrible but he's such a diva. The art he has, the giant head looking down on intruders, some of his over top line. I love the sheer drama he brings

Vigil and Vendetta: the way they appear, the music, the knowledge that we are witnessing an historic conversation... It's just incredible every time 

Tela Vasir: I love her. I just do. 

Blasto and Bubin: the best partners!!!!!!!!!!

Hello hello! It's been a hot minute ( mainly because I'm kicking around on my new blog ) but I've finally decided how I'm going to handle what i owe here

I will be dropping anything i can't formulate a near immediate response to. That includes drafts and asks. Part of my reluctance to be on here is due to what I owe and the lack of inspiration for these replies. If i can't think of any way to outline them or full out write them over the weekend, it's getting booted.

Additionally, I will be going through my followers and sb'ing people i either haven't interacted with at this point ( and they arent new mutuals ) and/or they've been inactive for... however long. I don't usually announce things like this and just use my own discretion but I don't want there to be any question about whether or not I've sb'ed someone ( though anyone is welcome to ask why if they feel the need to ). If you want to use this opportunity to break mutuals, feel free to. I'm not gonna stop you. Doesn't mean I hate you or anything, as stated in my rules, so I ask that no one takes it that way.

I'm also going to be removing 2 muses from the available roster. They'll be available as npcs and only upon request if we already have something going with them or pertaining to them

I'll also be assigning a limited status to 2 others, as I feel like while I have muse for them, I will no longer be offering them out for interactions unless--again--we already have something going already. These muses can be requested but I reserve the right to say no.

One muse will removed entirely and will likely be available for discord interactions only.

the school arc to me is so good because it drags ciel out of his position as a powerful figure and literally places him in the shoes of the person he could have been. the circus arc ALSO drags him out of his position as big bad queens watch dog/head of the phantomhive estate but the school arc feels like a mockery of a future that never was. this is what he could have been had his parents not died. and even then its NOT because he will never be that kid.
