I love Tumblr because nothing matters here truly. There are no influencers. Having followers doesn’t mean anything. It’s just a site where people post their sporadic thoughts and rb pretty pictures. Anyone who thinks any of this matters is woefully missing the point

#I joined tumblr for the aesthetics and now I’m here bc it’s the most low pressure social media to be on #Instagram is ppl’s highlight reel but Tumblr is where u see their pure thoughts unobstructed and I adore that #It’s very nice to have people to relate to and is def the main appeal to me but I don’t think there’s much more to it than that genuinely #Monetization on tumblr isn’t a thing and probably won’t be so it feels stupid to put more stake than necessary in it. Embarrassing #I know chronically online people exist bc I have seen them in my or somebody else’s inbox but imagine waking up at 70 one day and the #Realization hitting u like a freight time that u wasted all ur time thinking tumblr. Gabriel’s flock is the closest you’re gonna get to a cult that actually isn’t a cult due to their mostly pacifistic ways

This does cause problems however when dissenters or spies start causing problems

Gabriel is a little backwards with how they deal with people like this, as they simply just kick them out instead of forcing them to to change their ways

Granted if they cause actual problems, like stealing, damage to property, or hurting others: they will get sent to jail

For the most part it’s these individuals choice if they want to stay, Gabriel isn’t forcing them

Doesn’t mean Gabriel can’t get frustrated tho and contemplate “what if I just said fuck it and murdered these people”

I think Curly being fired a long with the rest of the crew even with the recommendation still invokes he did not get what he wanted through that.

Curly was feeling unfulfilled at work and in his career, yes. He was considering quitting along with sticking it out cause it’s what he’s known and feel secure in, even if not satisfied. You think getting fired would be a great thing for him, that’s a part of Jimmy’s scathing thought process and twisting of the cock pit conversation. However, the most important aspect is that Curly got to make that final decision for himself.

Curly does not get to decide if he’s actually ready to take that step and branch out and it likely worsened whatever was spinning in his head into a spiral because now he has to think of what he’s gonna do. It can’t wait and I believe his misplaced idea of Curly in telling the crew was his way of not invoking the same feeling within them. For him to be able to sit on it for months while they couldn’t, it was not fair the same way it isn’t fair to assume he would wanted that as an excuse to leave piloting.

It’s good to note that no one really got to fully choose what they wanted to do. Just a whole lot of reactions…. And inactions.

#a lot of major choices in pre crash sections are made for curly inadvertently in terms of having to act and while he should have #acted sooner it is not blaming anyone to say that most of his reactions stem from not being prepared to have his hand forced #and fumbling whatever he is moved towards ala Jimmy crashing the ship and Anya telling Jim #in the eval convo he clearly is just venting about what he MAY want to do and heavy on the may #he may just continue to settle and he may uproot #but in terms of choice he’s still pushed in directions rather than just simply choosing one and even when he does that it’s because someone #or thing has slammed a door in his face like every action of every character invokes a curl of the monkeys paw #not just curly and like I think of this as he def did not benefit from being fired #the woes of the artificial class divide companies establish between their workers #ur foreman is not living large like the executives he’s just makes 2 dollars more which is a lot and that’s scary but it’s certainly #not lavish or as secure as you think and I think when applied to the scene it is in full affect #mouthwashing #captain curly #mouthwashing game #curly mouthwashing

yeah so yoshiki is falling in love with 'hikaru'. that's what the whole manga is about fellas

#to be clear i think saying he's “in love” with 'hikaru' is a bit of an oversimplification #because his feelings for the real hikaru definitely played a role in their relationship development at first. and also i think its still #kind of early to call it capital L love. i dont think yoshiki is reallyyyyy aware of it yet #but the entire manga has been about yoshiki processing his grief over hikaru and slowly coming to perceive and recognize #the fact that 'hikaru' is his own being #likewise that is a journey 'hikaru' has also been going on this whole time #trying to differentiate between his own feelings/memories (and even trying to understand what feelings ARE) and the real hikaru's #at this point i do believe 'hikaru' and hikaru are 100% 2 separate entities in yoshiki's mind #hence he wants 'hikaru' back (who he perceives as someone going through a similar struggle re: his sexuality/otherness/etc)#like he truly values and cares for 'hikaru' and doesn't want to see him harmed or have him disappear #you can def argue this is a coping mechanism to deal with his grief about the real hikaru #but i think its more complicated than that. i think there are some serious real feelings in there for the eldritch horror teen boy #hikaru ga shinda natsu #the summer hikaru died #hgsn #.txt

Luffy not knowing about Zoro promising Sanji to kill him if he ever ends up losing himself makes me go feral because that's something they can only know about. Because Zoro's respect for life and death goes beyond anything, and Sanji knows he understands. Sanji knows that if somebody has to kill him, it's him.

And I don't even think it's because Sanji assumes Zoro's opinion of him is hatred and it would hurt less for him to do this, but because Sanji knows only Zoro would be able to treat the promise as it is. Because he would put Sanji's wishes before any feelings he has for him. It's not that Zoro doesn't care, but I think he respects people's ideals and decisions to the extent of being able to kill Sanji if he so desires.

That being said, he'd do it if there's no other way to fix it. If it's either dying or living as an emotionless machine, which is the same as dying for Sanji, Zoro would fulfill his promise. And there is just... Something about Luffy not knowing. Their captain. The man they're devoted to the most as if he were their God. Luffy doesn't know. It's something only the captain's wings are aware of and the thought of these two keeping this from Luffy until the end is just insane. Not even trying to make it romantic here, but the bond and respect these two have for each other is crazy.

Maybe it's the poetry of it all, too. Somebody like Zoro, who has looked at Death in her face multiple times and said "no", ending Sanji's life, who wants to give in to death to not experience a fate worse than death for him.

I’ll be a doctor one day and all the pharmaceutical reps will be waiting in the lobby for hours begging for a chance to speak with me to push their samples to patients and I’ll have pharmaceutical companies buying free lunch for my employees every day just so they can sit w me at lunch and speak to me and I’ll also have a housewife/husband but instead it’ll be an office wife/husband and they’ll run the managerial aspects of my hospital for me . Yes, I've already played Raincode!! Really enjoyed it, especially for the DR-like vibe and I actually made charms of the main cast:

I have sketches of Yomi and Yakou that I've been meaning to add to this set for ages but haven't been able to bring myself to refine them ;v; Makes me happy when people recognize the Raincode merch at cons tho! I'm really excited for Kodaka's new game too, I haven't played the demo yet!

#i think raincode just didnt have the same grip as DR for me #while i enjoyed it a lot and the general plot kept me hooked i think there were plot points that i wish had been explored more #and the ending was a bit predictable to me which doesnt necessarily make it bad but it set it up to be very shocking and then it was kinda #like yeah... saw that coming ages ago #i think there was a lot i wanted from the premise of the game that it just didnt provide which tbf happens quite often in DR too #but i think the biggest thing is that the characters in raincode feel a bit one dimensional and dont really get devloped as much as id like #now i played before the DLC content was released and have yet to play the DLC so ik that the charas get more fleshed out in that but the #game felt a little bit incomplete to me without that #i think dr appeals to me so well bc the main plot of the game allows for extremely strong archetypes of characters so even when theyre bein #comically over the top or die off early there's still a lot of room for personal headcanons and theories #but raincode misses the mark on that just a tiny bit #perhaps its also just that the cast is so small too #i like the dr murder mysteries bc whether im attached to the victim or murderer or hate their guts im personally invested in the trials #with raincode i didnt like that most of the mysteries felt so impersonal and the NPCs more often than not were generic #it def removed a layer of investment for me #ALL THAT TO SAY. I DONT DISLIKE RAINCODE #like i said i really enjoyed it and i think chapter 3?? Or whichever chapter they infiltrate the school in was my favorite specifically bc #it actually does kinda hit the mark with having NPC's with proper designs and also i really like desuhiko and his ability despite him being #the “pervert” archetype #all of this is mostly reflection on why it doesnt have as much of a vice grip as danganronpa has on me even after all these years #but as a game it was really fun to play and i did enjoy the overall storyline #i think yomi mightve been my next kokichi if his writing didnt flop so hard towards end game #he was so my type of character and then he just kinda. ended up doing nothing.#also i think makoto is ugly. no offense. send tweet #askibble #OH ONE MORE THING i really enjoyed the initial chapter and how the game opens up but im really mad that they didnt call back to the prologu #detectives at all #like i really thought maybe they'd at least haunt the narrative but nooppee #i really like that one girl pucci. or wahtegver her name was #ive been wanting to replay it recently tbh

Benny x Courier but the Courier is increasingly in denial for their feelings for Benny cause they see him as this loser pretty city boy Vegas type and they slowly (or rather quickly) realize that there were in fact reasons why Benny was able to manipulate so many people, infiltrate the Fort and avoid serious injury for all of it.

Like surprise the corniest loser you know is actually pretty badass and you kinda find that infuriatingly attractive.
