His Little Spy: A New Start
A/N: So I have decided to add my OC to this series. I've been wanting to do this for a long time, but I've been anxious about it. But with seeing all these amazing writers who have been blessing us with their OC's; I've decided to share one of my own. Also, I am changing some of the storyline. I didn't like how it was turning out, so some things will change.
Series Summary: Anita Edwards is a spy who works for Tommy Shelby. She is an orphan and longs for a family. Will Tommy ever realize she is his daughter, despite them not being blood? Or will he lose her forever?
Chapter 1 Summary: Anita is the one who told Tommy about Mother Superior beating children and why the young girl killed herself in Season 5 Episode 3.
Characters: Tommy Shelby, OC, Polly Gray, mentioned other Shelby members and Mother Superior, mentioned the young girl (I named her Rosa)
Warnings: language, angst, talks about suicide, talks about death, talks about racism, talks about children being physically abused
Word Count: 1,812

It was a cold, depressing day at the Small Heath Sisterhood for Young Girls. Rosa, her best friend, had killed herself this morning. Mother Superior had told the girls she died from Scarlet Fever; but Anita knew differently.
She was the one to find Rosa and told Mother Superior who threatened to beat her if she told anyone.
But this was the last straw. Her friend is gone all because of that woman. Making her eat alone at meals, using a different soap then the rest of the girls. Anita tried to defend Rosa a few times but it never ended well. The only thing she did was make things worse for Rosa.
She shivers as a cold wind slithers through her coat. A coat that is twice her size. She knocks on the door to #6 Watery Lane.
"What do you want?" A man Anita doesn't know answers as he swings the door open.
"Is Mr Shelby here?"
"Kid, you have to be more specific."
"Tommy Shelby."
"And what do you need to see Mr Shelby about?"
Ignoring the fact that he just called Tommy by his last name just like she did a moment ago; she raises an eyebrow. "That's not any of your business. If he's busy I can wait."
The man gives her a gentle shove. "Get lost, kid."
Anita's eyes narrow. She debated whether or not to just kick the man in the shin and run inside or if she should just come back later.
"Oi! Anita, is that you?"
She relaxes when she hears a familiar voice. "Yeah, it's me Polly."
"Let her through, James."
The man steps to the side, letting the door open wider so she can get through.
Polly smiles at the young girl, but frowns as the girl limps towards her. "Are you here to see Tommy?"
Anita nods. "I know this isn't our normal time, but I really need to talk to him."
Polly nods her head, guiding her towards Tommy's office. She trusts the young girl and she knows, if Anita's willing to risk getting a scolding from Tommy for being out so late, then it must be important. It still amazes her how much the gangster turned politician's opinion matters to the eleven year old.
"Anita, kid! Where the hell have you been?" Arthur greets in his overly loud voice.
The young girl smiles warmly at the eldest Shelby. "I've been busy doing your job." She sasses.
Her smile widens when Finn and Isiah howl with laughter.
"You little rascal." Arthur playfully growls as his fingers attack her sides.
Anita forces herself to laugh as pain shoots through her ribs.
"Alright, leave the girl alone." Polly can tell something is wrong with the girl, but she's not sure exactly what it is. She gently nudges the girl towards the door of Tommy's office.
Anita knocks three times. When she hears an annoyed 'come in' she opens the door. "I can come back later, Mr Shelby, if you're busy?"
Tommy lifts his head at hearing that voice. "Anita, what are you doing here?"
Anita fully enters his office, closing the door behind her. "I need to talk to you."
Tommy gestures for her to sit down. Like Polly, he frowns when he notices the limp. His frown deepens when she doesn't sit, but stands in front of his desk.
"Anita, what's wrong?"
She shakes her head. She's not here for her, she's here for Rosa. "I'm fine. It's my friend. She's- She's dead."
Tommy nods, staying quiet so the girl will continue. He can't stop his concern from rising with each word though.
"It's Mother Superior's fault."
Tommy's eyebrows twitch upwards in surprise. "She killed her?" He's recently heard rumors about how the Sisters have been treating the children. He was planning on having some men keep an eye on the orphanage for a couple of days.
"No, not directly." Y/n admits. "But she's gone because that bitch beat her all time. And she never deserved it, not once."
"And you do?"
"This isn't about me." She snaps, not only surprising herself, but Tommy as well.
The young girl hardly ever uses that tone with him; his brothers and some of the other boys, definitely. Even with Polly, he's seen her act defiantly towards his aunt; but she rarely acts that way with him.
"I'm sorry, Mr Shelby. Rosa has never been the center of attention and I think she should be for this."
Tommy nods in agreement. She never ceases to amaze him how wise she can be at her age. "Tell me what happened."
Anita explains why and how Rosa died. Halfway through her explanation, Tommy rises to his feet, going around his desk to lean against it.
"How long has this been going on?"
Anita swallows, her guilt eating away at her insides, knowing this is all her fault it went this far. "Since you saved me from my uncle and sent me there."
Tommy's eyes harden. Most of his anger is towards the nuns; but he is disappointed the girl didn't confide in him sooner.
Feeling the business owner's anger, Anita starts rambling. "I know, Mr Shelby, I know it's my fault. Rosa died because I kept this quiet. I should've come to you sooner." She starts muttering curse words under breath.
Tommy watches the girl, reaching in his pockets for his cigarettes and lighter. Exhaling a puff of smoke, his anger disappearing. "Anita, stop muttering. And stop blaming yourself."
She stops muttering but even the simple order can't take away her guilt. Her eyes plead with him for his help. Ever since she met the gangster, she's always trusted him to help her; no matter what she needed. Abusive uncle? Had him arrested; even though Anita's not sure that's what he did. Struggling with her schoolwork? He let her sit in his office, answering any of her questions. Girl problems? He finds Polly or Ada for her.
He's the closest thing she has to a father; but she knows he'll never see her like that. She's his spy. Her eyes record information that will help him with the company. She's told him a couple of times when someone has betrayed him.
She's in debt to him. He saved her life and this is how she's repaying him. It's not much, but she feels useful; feels like she's helping the wealthiest man in all of Birmingham.
She blinks rapidly when she feels a gentle hand on her cheek before meeting his concerned gaze.
"There she is. Where did my little spy go?"
"M'sorry, Mr Shelby."
Tommy shakes his head. "Don't be, love. Your mind went somewhere else, eh?" He says more than asks; taking his hand off her cheek and to the cigarette in his mouth.
She nods her head in agreement.
"I'm going to help; but I need you to do something for me in return."
Anita nods again, she figured as much.
"I need you to let Polly look at your injuries." He points a warning finger when she opens her mouth to argue. "I know Superior Mother gave you a beating."
She snaps her mouth closed, annoyed with herself and with the older man. She should've known he would easily notice her limp. "Fine."
"Good. Once Polly is satisfied, she will take you to the Grace Shelby Institute, where you will be staying until you're of age." Tommy wished he would've just settled her there in the first place. The only reason he didn't was because the girl begged him not to.
Anita half-hoped he would offer to let her stay in his mansion. She feels safe with him and she likes to be around his son Charlie.
She doesn't move from where she's standing while Tommy gets Polly. She hears them whispering but doesn't turn around.
She flinches when there's a hand resting on her cheek. Polly comes to stand in front of her, her hand moving to her shoulder so she can guide the young girl closer to her. She sits in the closest chair before beginning her examination.
"You silly, silly girl." She chides as she lifts the girls dress.
Anita blushes at her words. She glances at where Tommy is; thankful he's smoking another cigarette with his back turned towards them. Her eyes snap back to Polly when she grabs her chin.
"If you were never happy to begin with, how come you never told me? I would have listened, I would have helped-"
"I know, Polly. I-I just couldn't leave Rosa."
The eleven year old jumps when Tommy punches the door; muttering under his breath. She silently asks Polly why, but she just shakes her head.
Polly turns the girl, gasping when she sees her back and bottom. "Thomas, go get my ointments." When her nephew does as he was told, Polly turns the girl to face her, letting her dress fall back in place.
"Why did you not come to us sooner?"
"This just happened yeste-"
"Don't lie to me." Polly snaps.
Anita bites her lip. "I'm s-sorry. I really didn't think it would be important. I know I should've told you how they were treating Rosa and some of the other girls; but I really didn't believe that included me. You and Mr Shelby always tell me to behave or face the consequences."
Polly shakes her head. "This is not an appropriate punishment for a child. This should have never happened. And don't you dare apologize again." She snaps the last part, knowing exactly what the child was going to say.
Anita turns her attention to Tommy who had returned during Polly's scolding; hoping he'll help her. She's trying to ignore the concerned, motherly glare Polly is sending her way.
Tommy shakes his head, slightly amused. "Don't look at me that way. You're the one who decided to lie and keep things from her."
"You do it all the time." Anita mutters.
He lightly taps the bag of medicine on top of the young girl's head before handing it to his aunt. He can’t deny her words.
"Tommy, we're shutting that place down."
"Already on it, Pol."
"Are you angry with me, Mr Shelby?" Anita has to know. Did she destroy her chance to ever have a family?
"No, I'm not." He turns to leave to give them privacy. When he reaches the door, he turns around to face them. "Finn is going to take you to the Institute as soon as Polly is finished."
"She's staying with me."
Neither Tommy nor Anita dared to argue when Polly spoke in that voice. He just nods his head before exiting his office.
Anita slowly shifts her eyes back to the only mother figure she's known; relaxing when she's greeted with a small, sad smile.
Tommy may not consider her family, but Polly does.
It's a start.

A Dedicated Pig-Technoblade
#3 and 47 from this prompt list! Check out my masterlist here! This is in the DreamSMP Au. I
This is a Technoblade x GN reader!
So in this AU I am making it so that your cannon lives are shown on your left wrist. And if someone types something in chat or if someone joins the server, it appears as text on your right arm until you dismiss it! If you are confused feel free to ask me any questions!
Part Two! Part Three! Part Four!
Y/N finally meets the one that everyone has been walking on eggshells over.
Y/N’s POV
I will never forget the gasps, murmurs, and then tense silence that followed the notification that everyone received on their right arm. Technoblade had joined the SMP. I didn’t understand why it was such a big deal though. Of course I had heard the stories. The horrors that he had done. The fights he picked and won. The amount of blood that had been shed at his hands had earned him the title of “The Blood God”. But when push comes to shove, he’s just another mortal man.
Everyone was a little freaked out and on edge because of the new addition to the server. I mean, Schlatt had just banished Techno’s family, his two brothers, from the nation that they created and fought for. Everyone knew that family was everything to Techno and if there was one thing Techno would do anything for it was his family. He would literally go to hell and back if it meant that his brothers and his father were safe.
Finally after a few minutes of everyone holding their breath, I scoffed, rolled my eyes, and went on with my work, cleaning up the election decorations. All eyes turned to me “Y/N” Niki hissed, “Do you not understand what just happened? He could be anywhere” I let out a joyless laugh as I looked at my best friend, “You really think he’s going to come here right away? With nothing on him? With his brothers on the run? You think he’s going to worry about coming here, where it would be a 1 vs…” My eyes scanned the crowd doing a quick mental count, “15 plus? Come on Niki, think with that big brain of yours.” I claimed, a little annoyed, as I took down a banner.
Niki let out a shaky sigh but nodded and continued helping me. “You’re right,” I chuckled at her response and bumped her shoulder, “You know I always am”. Soon, everyone went back to their own tasks, forgetting the news we all had just received. ‘See Mr. Pig Man Blood God’ I silently thought to myself, ‘You’re not as scary as you may think’.
*Time skip*
A week and a half had gone by since Technoblade had joined the server and no one had seen him. Like I had predicted, he immediately had searched and met up with his brothers and had stayed clear of the main part of the server. That being said, I should have known that he would rear his pink head at some point…
When I first joined the server, I had made myself a small farm for food. Well of course everyone found out about it and wanted a part of it. So my small farm grew and grew. When Niki built her bakery, she needed a steady supply of well… supplies. Sugar, wheat, eggs, milk, and all that. I had plenty and I was more than happy to give her what she needed in exchange for baked goods. So once a week I would haul boxes of supplies across the SMP from my farm to her bakery.
Everyone was aware of this and so on these days everyone would stay out of my way. Which is why I was so surprised to slam into someone while carrying a box of eggs to the bakery.
I let out a huge gasp as the sound of eggs cracking filled my ears as I slammed into someone. The box fell out of my hands as raw egg covered my hands and body. “What the hell!” I cried out, looking up to yell at whoever had just crashed into me. I was momentarily stunned. There in the flesh, right in front of me, stood the Blood God himself, Technoblade. My surprise  didn’t last long as I remembered why I was angry in the first place.
“What the hell are you doing here? It’s bakery day, sure you didn’t know that, but you should have taken the hint not to be here when you didn’t see anyone walking this part of the Prime path!” I shouted at the pink haired man. Techno’s brown eyes widened as I verbally attacked him. “And now I’m covered in raw egg! This is not pleasant! It’s gross and sticky and cold and I do not enjoy it! You are sooooo lucky I have a change of clothes at the farm and that my chickens laid a lot of extra eggs this week or else you would have had to explain to dear sweet Niki why she wouldn’t be able to open her cute bakery this week.” I hissed out.
“I’m sorry,” Techno began with a raised eyebrow, “Do you not know who you’re talking to?” He questioned with a deep voice. I let out a loud scoff at the audacity of his question, “Of course I know who you are, Mr. Blood God,” I mocked. “So. You do know who I am and what I am capable of.” I scoffed at his smug words. “I said I did, didn’t I? And frankly I couldn’t care less about you and your reputation. You’re just a guy. A guy that has ruined my day because I now have egg all over me!” I complained, wiping my hands on my pants.
I reached down and began picking up the box and the eggs and egg shells that had fallen on the ground.“You know, I could kill you with no hesitation?” Techno claimed as he crouched down, moving his face close to mine. “I’ve done it before to many others. They blink and my sword has entered their chest. I’ve probably slaughtered more people than you’ve ever met in your life,” Techno mused, a smug smirk tugging on his lips.
I looked up from my box with a blank expression on my face, “Am I supposed to be scared of you? Is that supposed to scare me? Make me shake in my boots?” I questioned, my eyebrow raised. Techno’s smirk slowly slipped off his face. He quickly stood up and stared at me in shock, “Didn’t you hear me? I could kill you!” He explained. I rolled my eyes and also stood up. “So could another human. Literally anyone else. So could a fall from a huge height. So could a dedicated chicken. You’re not special.” I stated, turning on my heel and began walking back toward my farm.
“So you’re really not scared of me?” I heard Techno question as he began to jog to catch up to me. “Haven’t I made that clear? You may have scary stories and legends surrounding you, but when it comes right down to it, you’re a man. Well, part pig, part man, but a man and mortal all the same.” Techno let out a scoff, “Technoblade never dies,” he claimed. “But you could. You have three cannon lives just like the rest of us.” I concluded.
Techno silently followed me as I moved through the barn, replacing the eggs that had cracked when we collided. After I filled the box once more, I set it down before stepping into the bathroom I had built. “I’ll be right out. Don’t touch anything.” I commanded. Techno gave me a mock salute before looking around the barn once more. I closed the door and quickly cleaned up. I took off my egg covered clothes, washed my hands and body before putting on the clean clothes I kept here.
I found Techno where I left him. “You ready to go?” I questioned softly. His eyes trailed from my horses back to me as he gently nodded. I made my way back to the boxes before picking the egg box back up. “Is this going to?” Techno asked. I looked over and found him pointing at the last box needing to go to the bakery. “Yeah, but you don’t have to-” I was cut off by Techno picking up the box. “Let’s go” He said walking out the door. I let out a laugh before following him, being sure to close the door behind me.
The two of us made small talk about anything and everything on our way to the bakery. Techno told me all about Wilbur and Tommy’s constant squabbles and I told him all about everyone’s wariness ever since he joined the server. Techno helped me put everything away, which caused me to be done a lot sooner than I usually get done. The two of us left the bakery and made our way back outside. We began strolling the prime path and subconsciously came to a stop where the two of us met.
Our conversation died down and the two of us stood there for a moment, just staring at each other. I finally cleared my throat, “Thank you for helping me today. I really appreciate it.” I thanked, running a hand through my hair. Techno mirrored my actions with a shy smile on his face, “No problem. It’s the least I could do.” There was a slight pause before he spoke again, “Hey. Listen. I’m sorry for threatening you earlier. It’s just… Everyone I’ve ever met has been terrified of me and when you weren't… It really threw me for a loop. So… thanks. Thank you for giving me a chance.” I let out a giggle at his vulnerability, “It’s no problem…. Maybe when this is all over and you and your brothers are welcome back into L’Manberg, we could hang out more.” I offered. Techno gave me a soft smile and a gentle nod, “Yeah. I’d like that. A lot.”
“Techno!” A voice whisper shouted. The two of us jumped at the sudden interruption and turned to look at who had called the pink haired man’s name. It was Wilbur. “There you are! Where have you been?!” He questioned, marching up to the two of us. Techno made a gesture to me. Wilbur’s eyes shifted to me. I gave him a smile and a wave. “Hey Wilbur. It’s great to see you” Wilbur’s eyes softened as he gave me a smile, “Hey Y/N. It’s so good to see you too. We’ve got to go. Techno was supposed to be on a spy mission, but I see he got distracted…” I laughed at his words and nodded. “Something like that,” Techno claimed, rubbing the back of his head a blush.
“Well it was great to see you Wilbur. Tell Tommy I miss him and that I say to stop trying to decorate with things that aren’t his, yeah?” Wilbur gave me another soft smile and nod, “Will do Y/N. Tell Niki I miss her?” I returned his smile and nod. I then turned to Technoblade and gave him a smile as well, “It was lovely to meet you. I really hope this is over soon so I can show you my weapons collection.” Techno’s eyes lit up and he nodded. “It was amazing to meet you too Y/N. And I would love that. So much.” I giggled at his response and nodded. “I knew you would. Bye guys.” I gave them both one last smile before turning and headed back to my farm.
As I was leaving I overheard the next part of Techno and Wilbur’s conversation. “So… Y/N huh?” “Shut up.” “Who knows, when this thing is all over maybe you’ll get together and have pink haired, Y/E/C babies… Oh I would be the best uncle and-” “I’ll give you a five second headstart.” “Oh come on Techno-” “Five” “Please” “Four” “Tech-” “Three” “You know it’s-” “Two” “Oh come on” “One” “OH GOD! RUNNING!”
I let myself look over my shoulder at the two. Sure enough Wilbur was sprinting down the prime path as fast as he could, but Techno was right behind him. “Get over here!” Techno shouted after Wilbur. “NO!” I let myself giggle at the two’s antics. My eyes focused on the two for as long as I could, but soon enough the two were out of my view and my ear shot. Oh I can’t wait until this is all over.
There you go! I hope you enjoyed! And I hope I did the anon that requested this justice! If you did enjoy, be sure to leave a like! And maybe even a reblog or reply telling me what you liked about it! Until next time!

What are your hot takes?
guess i'm in the hot chair now oof
during the cookie outpost vs las nevadas conflict, it really seemed like people forgot that the cookie outpost was a cover up for the fact that it was an outpost with intention to spy on las nevadas and that it was offensive - and c!quackity was right to be concerned, c!tubbo and c!ranboo were being scrutinized for very good reasons
c!dream being redeemed would be a horrible writing choice, there is nothing that can be accomplished with such an arc that wouldn't be accomplished in a c!wilbur redemption arc - and way better, and would send a better message as well
c!sapnap is not going to be available for a c!dream redemption arc, he is one of the only people to vow to kill c!dream - only he's not gonna do it out of revenge, but because c!dream has done too much harm to be among people. if he escapes, c!sapnap is going to hunt him down; he's not going to give asylum in kinoko kingdom
c!george teaching dreamxd about humanity and kindness would be amazing to watch be explored more
c!niki's time in hell/limbo should be discussed more, what it did to her
main characters do exist on the smp, every character has their own pov which gives a fuller view - but some characters have a bigger weight on the narrative, some characters' povs can't be ommitted to understand the story while others can
c!phil being immortal alone rather than being immortal buddies with c!techno would be a way more interesting road, going through the pains of immortality - seeing the world change, losing people, trying to not form attachments because they'll all fade, seeing cities and empires rise and fall, the only constant being death (ties beautifully into the relationship with Her, c!kristin, death) - all alone would be such an interesting road for c!phil to go down
c!wilbur stepping away and avoiding c!tommy is a healthy choice for him, but is not doing what he wants to do - stop hurting c!tommy
c!ranboo is a very interesting character, but after so long - there needs to be answers for just some of the many, many questions there is about his character
c!clingy duo's friendship is one of the best, if not the best, developed relationships on the smp, and the conflict they went through in season two was the best decision - and i hope we'll see more of them when their lore return
anyway, that's what i could think, i'm not sure if they're all hot takes, but i am a bit tired haha

I thought of more things for Zoo au- first post here
As mentioned, Dteam doesn't only run the tours but shows and attractions as well-
Dream runs the dolphin tank and the dolphin show that's put on there (on more then one occasion he's found the little Borrower Tommy trying to swim in the tank, and even had to save them from drowning once- but was imeadidatly blamed for it afterwards since Tommy couldn't remember how he ended up in the water like that)
Sapnap only really goes to the small aquarium part for one thing and one thing only- his favorite tropical fish Mars
Sapnap helps out tremendously with the petting zoo area, especially the horses with Dream- most likely because they both get to ride the horses around for the kids at times- Dream's favorite horse being one he ended up being there to help birth and raise, named Spirit
George likes to hang out in the bird feeding area, he says he's working but everyone is pretty sure he just likes to sit in there and be a bird perch- eventually Dream noticed and trained a parrot to mimic himself and bother George all day
Wilbur may not be that involved with the petting zoo area, but there's one animal there he visits daily. A blue sheep named Friend. When Wilbur was little he found this far too young sheep to be living on their own, on the side of the road, they were shaking, could barely stand even, and blue. Wilbur immediately took them in as his dad started trying to figure out what was wrong with the sheep- as it turned out it had been used for illegal testing, people wanting to make profit from having sheep that would always produce dyed wool, but they were using far too dangerous chemicals for any animal. That's when Wilbur decided he wanted to help animals and is why he's the one at the zoo who has a vetrenary license from actually graduating from a Vet school
One time a moth acadentally got into the butterfly house, and Wilbur was deturmined to kill it before it damaged anything- but luckily Tommy was there and immediately fell in love with the moth and saved them, calling them his own animal from then on, and naming her Clementine
The zoo does have one significant baby animal attraction and that would be their calf Henry. The mother cow had been alone that day apart from one little Borrower that felt bad that she was in so much pain but didn't understand why, well, he didn't understand until she started giving birth. Everyone was busy when that was happening so nobody was able to contact Wilbur, so for the first time ever Tommy revealed himself to the human to tell them what was happening (after having to run for a very long distance as fast as possible- so when Wilbur put him in their pocket he didn't fight). Later, Tommy practically couldn't leave the calf and started calling them Henry. So when the advertisement pamphlets we're finally printed... It surprized no one that the calf was officially dubbed Henry, but they still claim that it had nothing to do with Tommy
Techno makes his rounds every night since he is security- but since it's every night no one would notice if he were to sneak into the polor bear exibit and hang out with his favorite bear named Steve at least once a week
Ranboo may be an intern but he is absolutely amazing with animals, so if Tommy thought he was amazing at getting the animals to adopt him on sight once he meets Ranboo both boys soon discover that the animals will really do anything to keep both of them safe- cue chaos
Schlatt is the father of his two sons Tubbo and Dream- both of whom work at the zoo. So obviously Schlatt decided it looked easy enough and opened his own zoo accross the street that he co-owns with Quackity- obviously without the proper permits
Schlatt's zoo is more of a petting zoo since he doesn't have the proper funds, so it doesn't get alot of customers- which confuses Schlatt to no end. The other zoo has no problem getting people, so what do they have that Schlatt doesn't....?
Borrowers. Or, more specifically a Borrower. Eventually Schlatt and Quackity hold several steak outs to spy on the other zoo for several nights, and it's not difficult to notice the rather chaotic Borrower that is Tommy. So like any sensible person would do- they kidnap Tommy

Like that is by far the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me and it's because of you guys that this Tumblr exists and here I am still writing fics!!
Thank you all so much for your really sweet asks, comments on ao3, follows, reblogs and honestly just taking the time to go out of your way and read my work! It really does make me so unbelievably happy and I can't thank you all enough for being the best part of my 2021 :D
Going into 2022 I'm dropping the next part of my dsmp pirate fic and the first chapter of a new sbi royalty au that's been sitting in my drafts for ages, so hope you enjoy and thank you again - your support really does mean the world to me and hoping you all have a great end to the year!!!

comforting warmth
(a retelling of schatt’s death from his perspective.)
He sat in the corner of the van, unflinching as he heard the firework rockets ricochet off the side of the metal. He ignored it, swigging from the bottle of wine at his side and he pulled up a weight in his other hand.
His eyes were wide, bile rising in his throat as the fighting, the screaming, the fireworks all froze. The only sound he heard was his own heavy breathing and the gurgling of wine down his throat. Then, the sound of footsteps began to grow, closer and closer to the van.
He took one final swig of the bottle and tossed it to the side as the people he had banished, the people he’d had killed, the people he trusted and love all filed into the van with him, now all on the same side.
He ignored them, huffing a breath as he popped open another bottle, chugging down half of its contents. He felt dizzy as he pumped the weights harder.
“What are you doing here, Schlatt?”
He heard Wilbur, the first president, the first person he banished and one of the only two he wished to leave him. He smiled a weak laugh as he felt all the eyes on him.
“Is this a surprise birthday party?” His voice was wobbly, lined not with laughter or tears but with pain, a weak smile on his face. They ignored him and laughed with one another as they watched him.
“Are you drinking?” He heard Wilbur ask first and then Tommy repeat.
Tommy, the original vice-president. The person who nervously invited him to this land that he took over, who once looked up to him with stars in his eyes but now just glared at him with hate.
He ignored him, taking another swig before starting to work again.
“Oh, hammer curls,” He hissed to himself. All of the people in the van looked at each other, no concern in their eyes, only confusion.
“He hasn’t changed.”
His heart caught in his throat. Alex, his vice president, his fiance. His only love, that he had ignored, scorned to the point that he had left him, left him behind to join Pogtopia and destroy him, kill him.
“He’s really fallen off…” Tubbo murmured nervously.
A huff of laughter spilled from his throat as he looked over at the teen. He was a good right-hand man, even though Schlatt knew that he would betray him all along, that he was a spy for the other side. He was a good kid, but Schlatt had killed him anyway, forced him to decorate his own execution.
“Is this your leader, Dream?”
“No, this is not my leader,“ Dream scoffed, arms crossed. He smirked as he looked at the broken man, and Schlatt accepted it. He held power, but what was power without people to uphold it? Everyone left, he was alone. No one cared, and it was his fault.
He tuned them out, he had accepted his fate. He yelled out the name of his once ally, the only person he had thought was on his side before he left.
“Fundy? Fundy, what are you doing here?”
The fox sighed, looking at the man he once worked alongside as he pursed his lips, “Are you fucking drunk?”
He narrowed his eyes and threw a weak, exhausted punch towards him, which he easily dodged, “Come here, you bitch.”
All of the others started to protest but Fundy just took it as the president tried over and over to hurt him, “Who am I going to lift dumbbells with, huh?”
Fundy looked astonished, and he let out an amazed laugh lined with shock, “God, Schlatt! You fucked up the country! You fucked up everything! I had a dream and I followed it, but you brought it downhill! You-you ruined it! You ruined everything we had!”
Schlatt laughed, slumping down and taking a drink as he let the words hit him. They were right. He abused his power. He hurt so many. He killed innocent kids trying to play politics and for what? To gain power? To gain fear? He didn’t know.
Fundy pushed on his chest, no longer shocked and only furious, “I thought you were something.”
He let out a laugh he didn’t think anyone believed, “Yeah, I am something, Fundy.”
“What?” Fundy rolled his eyes and shook his head as he looked at the once-great president. He wobbled, “I’m a man.”
The people in the van only laughed at the scene, as Schlatt laughed and tried to hit Fundy, again and again, stopped only by Wilbur holding him back and pulling the drink from his sweating palms.
He pushed him against the wall of the van, a pointed diamond sword against his neck and pure manic in his eyes, but smothered down as if to pretend he was stable, “Schlatt, are you ready to have this end now?”
Wilbur’s grin spread wider, “Are you ready to die?”
Schlatt mirrored him, “What?”
“Are you ready to fucking die?”
Niki hummed, added to Wilbur’s statement, “Do it.”
He had put her through so much shit, he knew it was unfair. But does he regret it? He laughed out loud, no, he didn’t. He grabbed the bottle back and spat at Fundy, a purple-stained grin shot in his direction, “Fuck you, Fundy.”
“I...Schlatt…” Alex’s voice sounded weak, and a small piece of his broken heart broke further, and he stopped, slumping down on the wall as Wilbur ad Tommy stood in front of him with guns in hand.
“I want you to put it between his eyes,“ Wilbur said to the boy, hand clasped on his shoulders and his grin spreading further.
Tommy swallowed, looking at his mentor, “I, are you sure?”
Wilbur shook him slightly and Tommy flinched, but Wilbur didn’t notice, “Victory or death.”
He hiccuped from where he sat, bile rising in his throat, “If I die, the country dies with me.”
Tommy pursed his lips, lowering the gun to the tyrant president’s forehead, “No, it doesn’t.”
“Oh, you ought to know, right, Tommy?” He chuckled, swigging back more alcohol. He couldn’t feel his limbs, only a comforting warmth. He knew he was going to die, but when? By the hands of this child? By the gun of a madman? By a rope hung from a building? He didn’t know, but he knew it was soon.
“I had everybody turn on me.” He chuckled, his voice growing louder with every word until he was screaming at the crowd gathered to watch him die. Maybe they hoped for him to plead for mercy, maybe they hoped to see his blood gurgle onto the wooden floor. He didn’t care.
“In my time of need, everybody left. You left,” He pointed at Alex, “You and your fat ass left.” He threw a punch, and it landed, but it was so weak that Alex just blinked at it.
“If you hadn’t taken down the white house, maybe we could’ve done something good to this country, but this is all on you. Anything that happens from here on out is on you too.”
Schlatt smiled as heard the crowd began to chant to kill him drinking gulps and gulps of alcohol and he prepared for the bullet.
“Just do it, Tommy.”
Alex murmured to the boy, and Schlatt’s heart froze in his chest. His eyes went wide, his throat tightened as the smell of toast filled the air, His arms started to search at his sides for another bottle, another anything to stop this feeling, to stop this pain that was squeezing his heart and stabbing him in the side.
He drank more, and more, and more, but the warmth wouldn’t hold him like Alex’s arms used to. It tightened, harder and harder, he couldn’t breathe, he couldn’t breathe. He grabbed for a barbell, but he collapsed, falling on his face with all of his weight. He couldn’t breathe.
Everyone looked on in shock, Alex falling to his knees and flipping him over on his back as everyone else began to celebrate.
“S-Schlatt?”
The president’s eyes were filled with fear, he couldn’t breathe. Alex was holding him but he still wasn’t warm. He tried to raise a hand to Alex’s face, to hold him like he wanted to be held, “F-flatty patty?”
He couldn’t do it. His arm fell at the same time as his eyes. He wanted to be held, but he felt Alex drop him, yelling out angrily that Schlatt’s last words had been an insult, and the van filled with anger and laughter. He wanted to be held, but he understood that he was to die alone in this cold.
He opened his eyes to a cold white void, where he sat up and began to laugh, and laugh, and laugh. He didn’t stop until he heard another voice join him, and he opened his eyes to see Wilbur, the leader of the rebellion, and his replacement next to him, the same manic smile and tears in his eyes.
Schlatt’s laugh froze in his throat but quickly came back even louder. Even in death, he was to be overshadowed by this man. Forever and ever, they were the villains of L’manburg.

Hi dogin! So yesterday I did Tommy, today I’ll do tubbo. What’s your favorite thing about c!Tubbo?
WOOP WOOP!!
c!Tubbo is such an amazing, interesting and wonderful character (despite what the content creator would have you believe lmao) so genuinely again it's hard to pick one thing, so... I don't think I will
One of my favourite things about c!Tubbo is his diligence,
Tubbo has been the kid fighting a war side by side with his best friend, he has been the revolutionary fighting side by side with his family, he has been the spy when he wasn't sure who to fight and he has been the president, when he had nobody by his side, but throughout it all you could count on Tubbo to roll up his sleeves put on his best smile, and put in the fucking work that needed to be done.
In the first disc war Tubbo was always ready with as many sets of iron armour, axes and shields as Tommy and Sapnap needed, in the original L'manburg war for independence, Wilbur could tell Tubbo to have him a chest full of potions brewed by tomorrow and the guy would have a double chest done in minutes, in the final fight against Dream, after doomsday when he gave them a bit of time to recuperate, Tommy got to see Tubbo's vault of hundreds of enchanted books, sets of armour and stacks of blocks.
Because no matter what cause Tubbo has been fighting for, whether it's something he cares about or just a crazy plan from one of his friends, he puts in the work and I feel like that's how he expresses his affection, a way of showing somebody "I spent time on you, you might not have been there but I spent hours doing this and I definitely didn't do it for me"
This also fits really well into how Tubbo never prioritises himself he barely even thinks about himself, he's incredibly motivated by others and what he thinks he can do to help them instead of what he thinks he can do to help himself.
Now I want to clarify that for some of these favourite things I am not saying "Wow I love how he has low self worth and works really hard" I'm more saying that I find that it makes him a really interesting and well written character and I enjoy how it has been portrayed by the acting (I just want to say how absolutely impressed I am with Tubbo's acting and writing btw, c!Tubbo is such a good character because of it)

Okay so, last night I was watching Techno’s stream and he mentioned that he might have to switch over to Schlatt’s side because it seems like everyone wants to play the good guy.
That really got me thinking about the roles everyone is playing in this story. So, I thought it might be good to share my thought on this.
Here is my analysis by person:
I don’t know George, Sapnap, Punz, Ponk, Purpled, and everyone else’s stances on the situation, so I won’t be talking about them. If you know where they stand, let me know. It would be very much appreciated.
(PSA: this is written with the perspective that all of them are playing characters because, really, they all are. Even if that character is their persona or a version of themselves. This is all about what role all of them have in the storyline:)
Schlatt: Schlatt has done an amazing job of playing the villain. He is truly talented, man. Nobody wants to be the bad guy in this story, so we should all be thankful that Schlatt decided to be the villain. He has not only taken on the role of the bad guy, but he has gone above and beyond what was necessary. The only problem is that this story is being told through minecraft. If it was being told through other means, then I am quite sure that Schlatt could be the only villain and it would still be very interesting; however, this is in minecraft. This is an issue because in-game fights are bound to happen during a war and Schlatt is not the best minecraft player ever. When it comes to pvp, it’s likely that he’ll lose, even without Techno and Dream against him. So, a fight that’s just him vs everyone else will end up being very anticlimactic.
Techno: Despite what Schlatt has said, I really don’t think Techno is a traitor yet. I say “yet” because he said himself that he might have to switch sides for the sake of an interesting story. I really don’t like this solution though. It may be because I’m a big sbi fan, but I really like Techno, Wilbur, and Tommy on the same team, especially when it’s a conflict as “serious” as this. I don’t really know how everyone else feels about this, but I don’t think a lot of people will be happy if he betrays Pogtopia. And, with the view that a lot of Dream stans have of Techno (*cough cough* the duel), I don’t think it’ll be very good for Techno. Not to mention the fact that Eret has already done this. It would be a bit repetitive if a betrayal like that happened again.
Wilbur: He has done a great job both choosing/playing his character and keeping the pacing of the story steady. By remaining suspicious of everyone, he controls the pace and gives an opportunity for anybody to be on Schlatt’s side. He’s kind of the leader of the story.
Tommy: The “main character.” He has a lot of options for where to take his character. (I just thought of this, but a Tommy betrayal would be the ultimate plot twist. It would be so interesting.) The way he plays his role fits very well, though. His eagerness to trust and work with others is a great contrast to Wilbur’s mistrust of everyone.
Quackity: I don’t really know much about Quackity’s feelings about Schlatt. He has expressed some concern about Schlatt’s harsh dictatorship, but I don’t think that he will turn against Schlatt, at least for a while. That’s probably the best move too. It provides Schlatt with more allies without it being too far fetched.
Nikki: She chose a role and she’s sticking to it, and I think it was a good move. She provides a clear picture of the corruption in the government. Her clear support of Wilbur and Tommy while still being a citizen of Manburg, is a great contrast to both Pogtopia and the spies(tubbo and fundy). You’re doing great, sweetie.
Fundy: Fundy is an interesting case. I personally think that he should have held off becoming a spy until later on. Out of everyone from l’manburg, I think that Fundy has the most reason to hold resentment towards the old l’manburg. He was one of the only people in l’manburg without any sort of position and he was teased an awful lot. I think that Fundy should’ve sided with Schlatt for a while, maybe have a few battles on their side, and then later realize what he’s done. This would allow for a longer storyline without leaving Fundy an enemy after the war.
Hbomb: I don’t think he’s going to have a big role in this war and I think that’s a smart move as he’s just joined.
Eret: Okay, I support Eret’s decision to shoot for a redemption arc. First of all, I like Eret. Second of all, I think that it makes a lot of sense for him to be against Schlatt. He has a lot of memories with l’manburg and it can’t have been easy for him to watch the wall he worked so hard to build be torn down.
Badboyhalo: You’re doing great, Bad. The only way I could see Bad on Schlatt’s side is if it’s just because Schlatt’s in charge. It makes more sense for him to help Pogtopia, though, because he isn’t a citizen of Manburg. I’m satisfied with him doing what he’s doing.
Dream: This is probably the hottest take here, but I think Dream should be on Schlatt’s side. He has plenty of reasons to support Schlatt, and, if I’m not wrong, he did express support for Schlatt during his campaign. This move would balance the teams more than anyone else moving to Schlatt’s side. Also, since he has decided to stay out of it for the most part, it wouldn’t be too out of character for him to switch sides. I think Dream would fit well in that position, and, politically, it wouldn’t be too difficult to believe that Dream is doing it to ensure the safety of his territory and the rest of Dreamsmp.

Dream SMP War; Thoughts
Well its finally time for me to write this, after collecting all the events in my head and finishing my classes. Let me just start of with congratulations to the creators for making an exciting and memorable story of a simple smp, especially Wilbur who might as well be the director of the roleplay.  I loved the direction and the way the smp was made to be a glorified roleplay center. The stories were in different categories of amazing, we got angst, comedy, filler episodes and more. Everyone had fun, even the viewers had fun with the journey in the smp. I love Wilbur and I hope he comes back after his well deserved break. Also for viewers to watch his streams even if its not smp related >:0
TLDR: I LOVED ALL OF IT and I wouldn’t ask for more from the creators, but I’m just suggesting a better route for the story? Kinda like a divergence au?
Okay, am I done with the praise? Yes.
TW: Mentions of Abuse, Suicide, Bombing, Killing and Dying in general.
(PS. This is for the characters not the ccs, I know they chill)
Now heres some of the things I didn’t like about the finale. Don’t get me wrong, Schlatt’s death had a poetic ring to it, but it didn’t have any support to hold as emotionally impactful to the audience. For the most part, I love Schlatt’s acting! He really gave emotion when he had his last ramble before dying, thinking Fundy was still with him before realizing he also switched sides and he just, beats him up in rage.
I mean, Schlatt actually had a very convincing sob story of an elected tyrant who has no one left, drinking away his problems until he died of a miserable death. It made you feel bad for him, but only just for that one minute.
We know Schlatt’s character had always been a drinker, that was one of his traits.
We also see him being manipulative and straight up abusive, but you know what?
Even with all characteristics Schlatt had shown to the audience, I still don’t get his depressing state of defeat. Its opposite to someone who was able to make Tubbo decorate his funeral or how Schlatt was able to make Quackity stay before the divorce.
Like come on- He just DRINKS?!!?? No plan at all?
Gear was given to him, people were trying to protect him, literally he was being an idiot according to Dream.
He could’ve had a better purpose on his final days before dying. Everyone seemed to have forgotten about Pogtopia being rigged with tnt. Schlatt could’ve hidden in Pogtopia while the battle begins outside, with troops looking for him.
He could’ve pushed the button to blow up Pogtopia.
HECK EVEN BETTER IDEA; Schlatt could have just stayed there until they come looking for him in Pogtopia, did his ramble about being left alone and all the shit to stall them.
Notice how they didn’t immediately kill him? He could’ve taken advantage of that, as they get cooped up in Pogtopia, where a push of a button could detonate the tnt. SUICIDE BOMBING everyone near. No one kills him, he was miserable until the end but this time, he actually fucking did something.
We know Wilbur would’ve pushed the button to blow up Manburg anyway, he could still do it. Give a speech about forgetting the horrors of the past, finally gaining freedom or some shit. Everything would still go according to what happened in the stream, except Schlatt had purpose and closure.
I’m sorry, I went on a ramble of what ifs and what could’ve happened for Schlatt because as good as a villain he is, his final moments were just anti-climatic in general, even with the poetic death.
Another thing I would like to include is that Schlatt didn’t die of a heart attack maybe? His drinking could’ve poisoned him or something, him being totally careless and drinking a potion of poison would be much better than a heart attack.
Another thing:
No one questions the abuse Fundy gets from everybody, and thats another issue.People have little to no respect for Fundy. This guy grew up in L’manburg, the place his father built to protect him. Now its gone, blown to smithereens by his own father, who not only said he despised Fundy but also left without saying goodbye. His “fiance”, Dream, sided with the enemy and has almost no care for Fundy. Dream was the one to provide tnt to blow up Manburg. Keep in mind, Manburg wad supposed to blow up during the festival, where Fundy was still acting as a spy. Which means he would have died, his “fiance” would be the indirect cause of his death. And dont even get me started with the last Schaltt scene where he repeated smashes his bottle to Fundy, damaging him even with netherite armor. This man needs to feel happiness and warmth for once, or else he’s gonna become another antagonist in the story. (Which would actually be great tbh ^^)  Theres also Eret’s situation. He gained power and kingship through betraying L’manburg. That was his reward for betraying L’manburg guys.. now its been stripped away, leaving him with nothing at all. Pogtopians dont trust him a lot, they still see him as the first traitor. The Cain to the Abel in this story.  The betrayal he committed is now pointless and dull, he gained nothing in siding back with Pogtopia. His “friends” dont welcome him like they used to, and he knows why. Right now, he’s on a path to redemption. Eret just got recently given the redemption arc pass and is now trying to do good. I hope he succeeds in his endeavors. Other characters should be given their chance to shine. I feel like with Wilbur gone, people are gonna depend on Tommy and Tubbo for a new plot. And as much as I love them, more people should be given the spotlight. Remember the little Dreamon hunters thing? Ya that but with other people doing other plots! I feel like people need to be recognized outside the stereotype the viewers place on them. An idea would be having Niki Nihachu train with other people, Techno perhaps? Or maybe just chill times of building and redstone. Dont forget the draining the ocean thing, Im sure they’re gonna come back to that. I dont really have any other nitpick of how the story went. The only thing that bothered me was Schlatt’s death and how fast it went. Anyways- This is just my opinion! I still loved the war and the storyline! This is just me nitpicking on stuff-

//This is gonna be a long, probably not properly formatted post, but i just couldn’t help but gush about and ramble about this. Also prepare for a wall of text why everyone is the traitor /hj//
I just have so many thoughts on what happened yesterday. Like all the foreshadowings and plotholes and plotlines have been set in motion, completed or filled. And it makes my little writer soul happy, you know?
It was obvious Techno and Wilbur would be the traitors, since Wilbur multiple times said so himself and Techno literally murdered Tubbo in cold blood. Maybe not so much cold blood cause “hE WAS PEER PRESSURED” and stressed af, but you get the point.
We knew Philza would join Dream SMP pretty much, since Wilbur showed him the script on stream recently. Also like Traitor Philza anyone? How many posts have you seen of the ultimate traitor being Philza? I have seen lots, but in the end weren’t like half the people traitors? Niki betrayed Pogtopia subtly by leaving and building another city, but i guess this depends on your point of view and opinion, since in the final battle she did fight for Pogtopia. Wilbur was the traitor (everyone knows that) by blowing up Manburg, when it all seemed to go right. Techno was the traitor to Pogtopia, but was also betrayed by Pogtopia. Techno was here to abolish government not make another, but at the first time, he knew what he was getting into. Tommy spoke about taking back L’Manburg for two months, since the election, so I do not know why the surprise. While I agree with Techno that they were just terrorists, because Schlatt was elected, voted, not a tyrant in full meaning of that word (this is so complicated, i love this). Eret was the traitor to Dream for a change, because he wanted to help and join Pogtopia, but was also betrayed by Dream, who had supposedly no way of knowing Eret was going to betray them, he just took the crown and plopped it down on our cottagecore lesbian George, who either sleeps or builds cute houses.
Also Philza being the one to slay Wilbur is just amazing, because there are so many possibilities motives. Philza said he couldn’t kill Wilbur, but he looked on the people of Manburg, L’Manburg, Pogtopia and Dream SMP, Badlands, he looked at all the people gathered here, staring up at him and he said he couldn’t kill his son. Wilbur said he was the one who destroyed L’Manburg, His L’manburg and ordered Philza to murder him. And he did. But why?
Did Philza kill Wilbur, because he knew, that even with Schlatt gone, Wilbur would continue to cause wars and battles and death and pain? Did Philza kill Wilbur, because he knew that Tommy looks up to Wilbur and wouldn’t be able to not let himself be manipulated? Did Philza kill Wilbur, because he thought nothing else could stop him from becoming a monster? Did Philza kill Wilbur, his son, because he couldn’t bear the thought of not being able to help his son, while one is traumatised, staring at them from where he miraculously survived the explosion and the other one was betrayed, but also a traitor and he just needed to do something? Did Philza kill Wilbur, because he looked at the blown up land and he heard his son begging for death and he at that moment was the only person who could make a change?
Hell if i know, there are too many posssibilities, but what i DO know is that i’m going to meet theories and conspiracies across my tumblr dash for weeks and I will be able to read all your amazing essays and I just can’t wait for it you know?
Chekhov’s gun. We knew L’Manburg would blow up. It would make no sense for it to not blow up after a month of it being the major plot device, one of the few things to keep it going. It needed to happen or otherwise the plot wouldn’t make sense. If this was a book and not minecraft roleplay, I bet everyone would be angry that the Wilbur character didn’t blow up as he said he would through half of the third book of the series! Sure there would be people happy that he didn’t, but let’s all be honest here, all the AUs would feature him blowing it up, it was really the only way for there not to be a massive plothole.
Tubbo becoming a president wasn’t that to be expected before the stream, but during the conversation with Quackity it was hinted towards. We all thought it would be Tommy who’d been hinted towards in the “You’re never going to be a president, Tommy” speech of Wilbur. And to be fair, he was a president for like 1.2 seconds, before he went back to get his discs which as exasperated leave me, because come on you’ve been at these discs for like almost HALF A YEAR WOW, make me happy cause it means more plot to come, chekhov’s gun right? I’m not sure if this applies here though, since they’ve already been used. We’ll wait and see right? Tubbo became a president like he was supposed to become. We all expected him to become the vice president, since Tommy always titled him his right hand man and the parallels were too strong. From Secretary of State through Schlatt’s right hand man through a traitor to end as the President of L’Manburg. Or New L’Manburg should I say?
And it’s even worse when you think about how Wilbur appointed Tommy KNOWING L’Manburg would blow up in a moment. He wanted to give him everything he could ever want and then steal it away the next second, violently, not leaving a shred of hope for it to return. Because, you see, with the discs? Tommy always could fight for them, steal them, get them back. Physical small objects, but worth so much. But L’Manburg? Tommy just got it back, his second home, his people, his place and Wilbur planned to immediately rip it away violently. Tommy would rage, he’d curse, he’d plan revenge. Which is exactly the reason Tubbo is the better choice to be a president.
Tubbo doesn’t hold grudges, so unless he’s manipulated, not many wars will be initiated by him. He was one of the people who tried to fight the wither, he was the one who immediately jumped to gathering people and making plans for the future of their country. He was the one who made plans to rebuild their nation stronger and better. He jumped to making and building and communicating rather than fighting, which seems to me like something a good leader would do.
Wilbur as the president barely did things, mostly used pretty words or fought. Only later in Pogtopia he actually did most of the stuff in their ravine, but he still left grinding and food for Techno and in the end he went insane and no good leader should be an insane one. Schlatt? Schlatt wanted to chop down the trees, kill the animals and destroy the nature. He may have been a better, closer and an actually elected leader compared to Wilbur, but that doesn’t mean he was a good leader. So it is possible Tubbo will be the best leader yet.
But will he even be able to be truly a leader? Tubbo said himself he’s not sure how the whole president thing goes and he agreed to just call it a friend group, so they’re not demolished by Technoblade again, so he’s never going to be truly a leader, especially since Philza joined and everyone looks up to Philza. They’re not going to have a leader, because Techno will kill anyone who even hints towards it and Dream would probably do that as well. Or so he says, but then he made Dream SMP a kingdom, a proper kingdom with a true king. Because let’s agree, Eret was never a leader before. He was just there, sitting pretty in his forest. There was no true kingdom before, just a group of people who decided to play along for the sake of the spy. But even then, it seems pretty hypocrytical of Dream, doesn’t it? He says down with the government, with organized nations, presidents and leaders and yet...
King George has happened. But at what cost, I would say sadly and possibly crying if I didn’t expect it to happen. It was bound to happen since the very first WHITE FLAGS, TOMORROW, OR YOU’RE DEAD. He’s earned no right to the title, he didn’t participate in this war, he hardly does anything on the server. He’s just an heir. Dream forcefully removed the last monarch, so George could become the king and I feel this is going to be a big thing in future, since it wasn’t that focused on during the last streams. I think so at least? We’ll see.
There’s just so many things to cover here, possibilities are WILD, the lore is just SO HEAVY and I am Thriving, capital T. But isn’t the whole fandom? We’re all loving it here, right? And I want to write even more, but at the same time, I’ve already got 1.5 k words and I’m afraid nobody will read it if i continue, SO HAVE A GOOD DAY IF YOU READ SO FAR. SUBSCRIBE TO PHILZA.

Bon Appetit, darlin’
~T.Jeff : Hamilton the Musical
First time writing lol. I mean don’t be so harsh because my confidence is made of glass but please let me know what you think. Here’s a few things that you can expect while reading:
fluff
good boyfriend Thomas that we wished existed
Y/N lowkey being a top LMAO
word count: 1359 (?) dunno how this works
probably a few spelling errors because now that school is online I resort to autocorrect
A/N: I do nOT SUPPORT REAL LIFE THOMAS JEFFERSON >:( . Stan Daveed Diggs who plays Thomas in Hamilton the musical.
Tumblr media
Y/N sat on the tiny sofa in her grandma’s room. Out of all 6 of her cousins, she was the chosen one to watch over her grandma for a few days. She was surrounded by textbooks which she deemed unimportant, her collection of expensive Japanese stationary placed on top where her last sentence had ended. The room was filled with Christmas music that was a few months too early. Unable to drown out the carols, Y/N crocheted a cozy magenta cardigan for her boyfriend to wear, when the Christmas music WAS appropriate.
Loop by loop, Y/N inserted and pulled her crochet hook to create new loops. Of course she was no where near finished. Every now and then she would feel the remorse for her text books and continue to work on her doomed English work, this was very rare of course. The sound of a car pulling into a drive way seemed to help drown out the cries of winter music, but Y/N thought nothing of it. Perhaps her neighbors went out and about the city of New York, unlike Y/N who hasn’t left the house in what felt like days.
Her hands ached from writing and crocheting. Finally giving up, Y/N set down the labyrinth of yarn and adjusted her position next to her frail grandma, who was fast asleep. She glanced up at the clock. 11:30 pm.
“Great.”
She groaned with annoyance. Bored, scrappy, and hungry, and the pain of guilt for her lonely textbook was just what she needed on a Thursday night.
Sticking one leg out her blanket in attempt to cool down her body, Y/N covered her eyes with her arm in attempt to find her happy place. Exhausted from her long days of school work. Just when Y/N felt like the luxury of sleep was in her grasp, her phones dreadful ding went off.
Ah yes, that sound when you get a text message. It’s either your savior or your worse nightmare, but you’ll never know unless you choose to pick up your phone. If Y/N wasn’t next to her grandma during her slumber, she might’ve screamed in agony when she heard that dreadful tone, but she managed to keep her cool. When she glanced at her screen her annoyance faded away and was replaced with a smile.
1 message from: Tommy 💕😼🥐
Now she had no choice but open it, I mean why wouldn’t she?
Tommy 💕😼🥐: come outside
Y/N tilted her head. Really Thomas? Not a good time
Y/N: excuse me what?
Tommy💕😼🥐: you know I don’t like to repeat myself, sweetheart <3
Y/N: I already told you that I’m on grandma duty tonight
Tommy💕😼🥐: c'mon darlin’ a few minutes won’t hurt
Tommy💕😼🥐 : I promise you won’t regret it ;)
Y/N sighed. Of course she wouldn’t throw away an opportunity to see him. Arising slowly from the firm mattress, Y/N tried her best not to shake the bed in fear of waking up her grandma.
Her hips and knees cracked at the pressure of standing up. She slid on her fuzzy slippers and made her way to the hallway, acting like a spy on a secret mission. Her steps echoed throughout the still house.
After making it to her living room, she could see a bright rays shining through her window. Y/N couldn’t help but feel the butterflies rise in her stomach when she opened the front door.
Thomas’s black car was idle in her drive way. Her eyes felt relief as his car lights turned off as he exited the car. Thomas was stunning in his striped turtleneck, paired with a coat to accommodate the cold fall weather. He pranced over to the front door with a smile plastered on his face, holding a plastic bag in his left hand, a series of ‘THANK YOU’s printed in red ink covering the front of the bag.
So you were the car annoying the neighborhood at 11:30 at night?” Y/N asked sarcastically, a smirk forming on her face. Thomas rolled his eyes while he placed a gentle kiss on her forehead. “And here I thought you’d be happy to see me, darlin’”. Y/N enlaced her fingers with his as she led him to the table
“Of course I am, but why are you here? I know you didn’t come to help me take my grandma to the bathroom” Y/N pulled a chair for him to sit, pulling an reverse card on Thomas’ chivalry. “I know how busy you are when you’re here, so I just wanted to get something for you” Thomas stuck his hand into the crinkling bag and pulled out two cups. Both were various shades of swirling brown tea accompanied with tiny tapioca pearls that drifted to the bottom of the cup.
“I got you some tea.” Thomas said proudly “never tried it before but I remember you got some with Angie last month so I assumed-” Y/N cut him off with a hug. She smiled into the crook of his neck while he wrapped his arms around her, cups still in hand.
“Have I ever told you that you’re amazing, Jefferson?” Y/N held back her excitement.
“All the time sweetheart.” Thomas smirked as he felt his ego grow just a little bit bigger. Even Y/N wasn’t sure that was possible with how big Thomas’ ego was when they first started talking. Pulling away from the hug, Thomas set the cups on the table.
“I ALSO got you some noodles while I was at the shop” Thomas turned to Y/N as she gazed up at him in amazement. “What? They were cheap, I couldn’t resist seeing your smile” he teased, setting down two boxes of noodles onto the lace table cloth. Thomas finally sat down on his chair and rubbed his hands together. Y/N’s smile remained present on her face as she pulled and sat on her own chair.
“Bon appetite, darlin’”
——————————————————————
After the couple ate, they relaxed on her couch, Thomas laying comfortably in Y/N’s lap, comforted by the warmth of her arms. Y/N’s phone let off a ding. Knowing it wasn’t Thomas texting her, she deemed it unimportant. Thomas was evidently eyeing the phone every time that sound rung, growing more anxious every time. Who would text her at this time? Besides Thomas of course.
“How was work?” Y/N attempted to change the attention, her fingers tangled in Thomas’ majestic hair. Let’s be real, who could resist his hair? Thomas opened his eyes, staring up at Y/N from her lap and shrugged. “ ‘nother argument with Hamilton” he scoffed. Y/N giggled at his response. “Tommy, Hamilton’s not so bad, maybe-” Y/N was cut off by Thomas’ disbelief “I know I did not just come all the way over here Y/N for you to side with that dipshit”
Y/N laughed as she removed her hand from Thomas’ head to retrieve her tea. Whining, Thomas pouted and waited for her hand to come back, but it never did. Thomas shot up to see Y/N’s eyes glued to her phone. “Hello! I’m right here y’know!” Y/N’s gaze landed on Thomas’ for only a moment, and eventually fell back on her phone “Yeah hold on, Lafayette wont stop texting me after he discovered what a GIF is” she laughed, taking sips of the swirling tea in her shiny, plastic cup. Thomas could feel his jealousy begin to rise.
“c’mon Thomas, you know how close Laf and I are, don’t give me all these jealous vibes from you.” her eyes were piercing straight through Thomas. She could look through him as if he were glass. The pout was still evident on his face, unable to maintain eye contact with her powerful glare. Ironic isn’t it? Y/N huffed out a short laugh and set down her drink. “Fine, let me prove it to you then.”
5 minutes had passed.
Of course they spent it aggressively teasing each other, who wouldn't? Just when things began to get a little too heated, the baby monitor next to the couch, which she used to listen for her grandma, flashed on.
“Y/nnnnn, can you help me to the bathroom?” it blasted
Y/N pulled back from Thomas’s grasp, “Well that’s my signal”
fin.

Alivebur Saw Through Tommy
So @rovin-is-clingy left an interesting reply on one of my posts, and I want to bounce off what they said because the potential for analysis is yassss!!! So, let’s get started!
This was the reply:
oh!! Im also super curious what you think about pogtopia!wilburs "your never gonna be president". I get that its mainly a manipulation tactic, but whats confusing to me is that c!tommy never really wanted to be president? imo?
but c!wilbur really seemed to believe that, i think he mentioned it multiple times even. my favourite interpretation is that he was projecting his own fears onto tommy, but im curious what you think!!
And they bring up some AMAZING points I wanna focus on. Because I don’t think the interpretation I have gets talked about too often???
So first of all I want to say, I don’t think Alivebur ever manipulated Tommy, for the simple reason that he believed everything he was saying was true. Manipulation is deliberate and clever and by not being honest in one’s intentions.
But Alivebur wasn’t trying to make Tommy act or feel a certain way, he was just saying what be believed to be 100% true. When he said:
“Tubbo’s like, ‘I’ll be your spy!’.” - (Wilbur’s video Am I the Villain?: 18:09)
and
“Tommy, literally have you not noticed? Everyone who’s claiming to be on our side, they’re lying to us! Tubbo?! He’s lying to you man!” - (Wilbur’s video Am I the Villain?: 20:25)
He believed that wholeheartedly. Because Tubbo had taken the job, because he later thought Tubbo was a yes man. If anything, he was trying to convince Tommy of the truth he believed, but even then he wasn’t trying too hard because he believed Tommy would understand and come around to what he was saying anyway (due to how Tommy had acted in the past).
But onto the line:
“Tommyinnit, you’re scared that people are gonna think differently of you. Tommy, when I said you’re never gonna be president, you gotta understand, that wasn’t a challenge, that’s true. You’re never gonna be president, Tommy. And I can hear it in your voice, you’re trying sound like you know what you’re doing, so that you can prove me wrong. Tommy, none of us know what we’re doing. We’re fucked, we were fucked the minute we were thrown out.” - (Wilbur’s video Am I the Villain?: 19:39)
It’s a long line, so make sure you digest it!
I wanted the full thing, though, because it provides a lot of context. But you cannot have this line where he says Tommy will never be President without the original:
“You’re proving yourself to be too much of a loose cannon, Tommy. I literally can’t- I can’t- Look, there is a reason why you are not the president and never will be.” - (Wilbur’s video Am I the Villain?: 05:36)
See this line? This line explains it all. You’re confused why Alivebur would say the later quote? It’s because of this first one and how Tommy reacts to it.
Alivebur points out Tommy is a loose cannon (which explains why he thought Tommy would eventually believe L’Manberg had to be blown up, but Tommy loved it too much for that). This had been shown especially in the exile arc when Tommy insinuated that he had burnt down a forest along with the flag.
And Alivebur had noted that. So, he points out that he can’t trust Tommy to come with them to watch Schlatt’s speech, and when Tommy talks over him, Alivebur says the above line firmly.
After that, Tommy goes silent, walks away, and leaves the call, proving to Alivebur that he does want to be President one day.
He’s implying that Tommy can never be President because he’s a loose cannon, because he’s ruled by his emotions:
“Unfortunately though for you Tubbo, Tommy isn’t as mature. See, that’s why he can’t be president. He follows his emotions too strongly, he gets too angry at things.” - (Wilbur’s stream The Festival: 1:26:17)
This line backs up what I’ve been saying. This is what Alivebur sees, someone who is ruled by emotions and not by political goals (which he says slightly after this line). And Alivebur clearly puts value on politics, it’s what runs a nation after all, keeps it going.
Alivebur has set ideals, one of those being that the right of the people exists above the king, government, and the economy (see the first independence book). He believes in peace and liberty. He fights for freedom. And his own ideals became L’Manberg’s original ones.
At every stage, everything he does goes hand in hand with these ideals. Him seeing someone like Tommy, who might one day vie for President, being so ruled by emotions and anger, shows to him that L’Manberg’s ideals would be at risk if Tommy ever became President.
Yeah, Alivebur could be projecting his own fears, but it goes so much deeper than that. He’s protecting L’Manberg by saying this. He’s protecting his own ideals. Ironically, this is also the day he decides to blow it all up, but in turn that’s to protect everything.
He sees Tommy as a risk, he believes they will lose to Schlatt any other way, and so to feel ‘comfortable and safe’, he was prepared to lose L’Manberg to preserve its ideals and his own ideals (see, ‘There was a special place’ and ‘I don’t think it can exist again’ from Wilbur’s finale video).
So, that’s what I believe that line means. He knew Tommy wanted to be President one day, and saw right through him. But Alivebur never wanted that, because he thought Tommy could put L’Manberg’s ideals at risk, and in turn, that’s why he wanted to blow up Tommy’s L’Manberg (arguably because he couldn’t blow up Schlatt’s due to him being dead), because Alivebur fully believed Tommy would put the real L’Manberg at risk.
And he wanted to make sure the real L’Manberg died. Eventually, it did.
Alivebur was a scared man, but he stuck by his ideals to the bitter end. And that shows in what he said, and what he did. That doesn’t mean he was manipulating Tommy, or challenging him (as he said) either, it just means he was pointing out a truth he fully believed.
All in all, Alivebur saw what no one else did. And it eventually cost him Tommy’s trust.

The Winter Ghost - Part 13
Info: A Devastating car crash causes you to lose your memory and start over. The only thing left in the wreckage was the horrific nightmares which plagued your mind. If you knew what today would entail you would have just stayed in bed. But you didn’t and because of that, everything you knew was about to change.
Pairing: Bucky Barnes x reader
Warnings: Swearing, angst, some smutty thoughts...
w/c: 2.2k
A/N: Lucky number 13! I’m honestly so caught off gaurd by all the love Ive been receiving on The Winter Ghost. I see all your late night binge sessions and I am SO immensely greatful for your interest. When I first started writing this I didnt really think anything of it, but youve all lit a fire under my ass and for that, I thank you! So please, enjoy and reblog and like if you feel so inclined.
Tumblr media
His hot breath fanned across your face, sending you into a frenzy like state you had never known before. Heavy breathing, mostly on your part as he placed excruciatingly slow kisses across your jaw. You needed him. More than you’d ever needed anything in your life. It made you sick.
“Are you afraid?” He asked in a low seductive voice. Swiftly he wrapped his metal fingers around your throat, applying enough pressure to make you gasp. You clawed at his chest, drunk on his murderous touch. You wanted him to make you hurt as bad as your heart did. You couldn't possibly hate a person more than you hated yourself right now.
“Answer my question.” He shouted, sending a ripple of ecstasy through your body.
“No. I could never,” You gasped, choking as the walls of your throat began to collapse.
“Liar.” He sneered.
You let out an involuntary moan.
“You good, Y/n?” Sam asked, sitting next to you on the couch as he, Nat, Wanda and Shuri all ate breakfast around the kitchen island. Your hand was lightly wrapped around your neck where Bucky’s was just a moment ago.
“Yeah, fine.” You squeeked.
But you weren't. You hadn’t been since that morning in the hallway with Bucky. You could still feel the sting he had left behind from his touch. What was wrong with you? You couldn't even begin to unpack that question. Psychiatric help would be a start, though.
After your memory had returned, the nightmares seemed to subside, only to be replaced with the image of Bucky, devoid of all emotion, seething in rage at your quips. By the third night, you would have gladly have traded, knowing that this was so much worse.
You couldn't keep excusing your vile thoughts as his fault. They weren't, not entirely. You were the one waking up a needy mess every morning.
“Hey.” Bucky's husky voice filled your senses causing you to stiffen at the sound. The team around you said their hello’s while you tried to refrain from gawking. You had done your very best to avoid him as much as you could, but there were only so many places to hide. Whenever you bumped into each other he would keep his head down and you would run in either direction.
“Steve’s on his way back today. He left to meet Vision and gather intel on an active Hydra base located somewhere on the border of Germany.” Wanda’s eyes lit up at the mention of the name. This must be the famous Android she's always gushing about.
“Pack up… We ship out first thing tomorrow morning.” Bucky declared, peaking your interest. It had been way too long since you had been back in the field, this was amazing. You could feel the excitement bubbling out of your chest vanish when Bucky’s eyes glanced at you.
“Y/n, you can uh, keep Shuri company while we're away.” You blinked at him, unsure if you had heard him correctly.
“No fucking way.” You scoffed. You were not missing out on this opportunity to give Hydra a taste of their own ‘serum’, so to speak.
‘Captain's orders.” He deadpanned, averting his gaze to the ceiling. You stared at him, lost for words with needy eyes. He’d never tell you, but it terrified him when you looked like that. Small, fragile, though he knew better. He would kill himself before he tainted you. But that didn't make the idea any less intriguing.
“And since when do you listen to Captain's orders?” Nat spoke up before you even got the chance. You nodded violently, looking back to Bucky who only sighed.
“You know very well why she can't go.” He muttered, fighting tooth and nail not to look at you again. You could sense his uncomfortability but you couldn't look away.
“She’s not going, then I’m not going.” Wanda sulked.
“Me too.” Sam mocked her tone. “Seriously, Buck. She’s a tank, we could use her.” He finished, more serious this time.
Bucky huffed, pinching the bridge of his nose between his flesh fingers. “You gotta take that up with Steve. He and I aren't really on the best of terms right now.” He spoke, annoyance dripping from the last sentence.
“Easy, I’ll take care of it.” Nat said to Bucky, but she sent a wink at you.
You were so excited you almost leaped from your seat. You couldn't wait to blow some shit up!
……………………………………….
The next morning you woke up extra early, just to get a jump on everything. Nat had fought with Steve all last night, but eventually he conceded on the sheer fact that if you were there, it would mean double the Wanda power. This was a big base, one he had known of for quite some time now, but it required extra attention. They had been working on recreating your serum, but so far to no avail. You knew exactly where they were going wrong of course. But Steve explained they had been testing it out of Hydra members. The lucky few who survived may not have your powers, but they were still strong. He’d need all the help he could get.
After you were packed you dragged your duffle to Shuri’s lab. She had been working on a few new weapons she wanted you to pack. Just in case, she said. You got there in no time flat, literally vibrating with excitement.
“You're sure about this?” She asked.
“Absolutely.” You beamed. She signed, and handed you a small ring.
“What's this?” You asked, holding the small band in your fingers.
“It’s a beacon. It will help you hold onto your borrowed energies for longer. It’s like a mini you, only better.” She paused, “Speaking of, are you going to tell me what's in that serum of yours or am I just going to have to keep guessing?”
“I think it’s better kept unsaid. That thing had already caused enough problems. No one should be burdened with it.”
“Maybe so.” She signed.
“Thank you Shuri. For everything.” You half heartedly smiled but before you could leave her arms were around you, pulling you into a hug. You sucked in a breath and tapped her on the back in reciprocation. Physically affection was never something you were good at showing, try as you may.
When you finally pulled away she sent you a soft smile, and wished you good luck on the mission before you headed out the door.
……………………..
“Nice of you to grace us with your presence.” Steve muttered, when you finally got to the jet when the rest of the team was loading up.
“It is, isn't it?” You spoke sweetly, throwing your duffle onto the jet. You still weren't really sure where you stood with Steve. Of course you knew of the famous Captain America, even if you didn't remember a few weeks ago. But never did you imagine he would be such a class act dick. Or maybe he was just that way with you? The idea made you smirk, knowing you were the only one to really piss off the Captain was honestly the highest form of flattery.
You boarded the jet and noticed the rest if the team already suited up. The tactical gear Shuri had made you was tight, and Natasha was living proof of that. I mean, it wasn't fair she had the body of a trained ballerina and New York supermodel. The woman was easily the most beautiful woman you had ever seen while your gear clung to you in all the least flattering ways.
You quickly shook off the self doubt. It didn't matter how you looked, you were here to kick some ass.
Well, not exactly.
That morning Steve had announced that while the rest of the team ‘kicked ass’ you and the Soviet spy would sneak into their mainframe and collect the data of whatever new evil scheme Hydra was working on.
Though you weren't thrilled to be stuck on recon duty, it was better than nothing. Besides, you were just a little rusty. Though Nat and Sam kept you busy and Wanda had taught you all her tricks, you weren't sure that if it came down to it you'd be able to pull the trigger.
Better safe than sorry.
“Are you nervous?” Bucky spoke under his breath, his voice deep and rough. You shivered at the sound. You hadn't realised until this moment that he was seated directly behind you.
“Are you?” You asked. You tried to add some bite to your words, but they left your lips softly. The tone seemed to surprise Bucky as much as it did you as he half expected to to tear his head off again.
“Sometimes. But, not now.”
“Oh yeah?” Words betraying you once again.
Ignore him.
Stop talking to him.
Stop. Talking.
Bucky's tongue slipped from between his lips, tugging on his bottom one slowly and effectively knocking you back from your annoying thought and to the glorious man sitting behind you.
“Yeah. Got this new girl on our side. She’s a totally badass. I know she’ll watch my six.” He shrugged causing a small smile to pull at the corner of your mouth.
“How do you know she won't just leave you for dead?” She asked, playing along. Part of you, however, was just a little curious. Part of you wanted to ask yourself the same question. In a second, would you protect the man who murdered Tommy? Honestly you weren't really sure.
“Just a feeling.” He spoke so casually. So sure, you wanted to believe him. It would be easy enough to feed him to Hydra, but you and him both knew you wouldn't have the stomach for it.
“Huh. You sound pretty confident in that.” You sneered sarcastically.
He just gave you a small shrug, leaning back into his seat and pulling his bluetooth earbuds out of his back pocket. He offered one to you casually. Before you could protest your arm shot out and took it, placing it in your right ear.
“I like to listen to music before a mission. It calms me.” He suggested, opening his phone, scrolling through his songs before the intro to Highway to Hell began playing.
A grin spread across your face “I love this song!” You beamed.
“I know. I remember you telling me something about spending an entire year listening to AC/DC cause’ your dad loved their music. I downloaded a few of their albums after that. Not exactly what I’m used to, but definitely good ass kicking music.” He nodded.
That stopped you dead in your tracks. You couldn't help the smile that faded quickly from your lips at his words. You were, to say the least, shocked. You must have mentioned your love for the band at some point, but honestly couldn't for the life of you remember when.
But he did. And he listened to it because you liked them.
“Huh.” You repeated, turning back around and trying to suppress the butterflies that began erupting out of your stomach. You could hear Bucky behind you drumming his hands on his thighs along to the song. You couldn't help but giggle at how offbeat he was.
“Take off in five minutes. Everyone ready?” Nat spoke through your coms. Everyone gave a thumb up as the jets engine whirled on, vibrating through the aircraft.
You listened carefully as your song faded away and the next one took its place.
Do I wanna know? If this feeling flows both ways?
You could physically feel Bucky’s mood shift behind you. The Super Soldier serum granting you access to his quickened heart beat and the lyrics mirrored the every present emotions you had been feeling this week.
Sad to see you go. Was sorta’ hopin’ that you’d stay.
You let your mind wander as you listened to Bucky hum along quietly to the song, low and soft. The sound sending chills down your spine as the memory of your dreams from the past few nights replayed over in your mind.
Baby, we both know. That the nights were mainly made For sayin' things that you can't say tomorrow day.
Bucky’s lips trailed along your swollen throat, the feeling of pleasure over bruises he had left behind caused you to moan in ecstasy. The way he kissed you, not like before. This time full of lust and something dark. His hands dipped under your shirt, the feeling of hot and cold sending you over the edge as your eyes rolled back in your head. You wanted nothing more than for him to throw you against a wall, any wall and tear you limb from limb.
“I like this song too.” Bucky’s breath fanned across the back of your ear, rocketing you back to the Jet that was beginning to take off. You looked around the small space, praying that Bucky was the only one to notice your breath hitch in the back of your throat.
Any reminisce of the idea that you had to stay away from Bucky shattered into a million pieces. The hate, still ever present, but you knew damn well that would be the best part. It only fueled your desire. He was going to be the death of you.
Or even better, you'd be the death of him...

My thoughts and opinions on the slew of recent trailers and announcements that no one asked for, but I needed to process all this information. These are just my opinions so don’t hate me.
Marvel:
WandaVision - Not very interested in this and it looks a little too trippy for my taste, but might watch it anyway to see Jimmy Woo and Monica Rambeau (and Billy and Tommy?)
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier - Easily my most anticipated of Marvel’s offerings. I was disappointed that it was delayed but it looks like it will be worth the wait! The trailer was epic. It looks like an action movie. I love Sam and Bucky, and their relationship and banter. Also I can’t wait to see my girl Sharon!
Loki - Not sure what to expect from this one and the trailer did not make things any clearer, but I’m just thrilled that Loki is getting his time to shine away from the Thor franchise.
What If? - Now that I’ve seen the full trailer I am actually quite excited for this! Also the animation looks gorgeous.
Hawkeye - I am not a fan of Jeremy Renner or what they did to Clint’s character in the MCU - hopefully this series will correct some of that. However the dog is adorable, Hailee Steinfeld looks really good as Kate Bishop, and I’m interested to find out what Yelena’s role in the story will be.
Ms. Marvel - From the brief clips we have it looks like a cute, heartwarming, and inspiring story. It has jumped to the top of my list!
She-Hulk - I’ve hated Bruce Banner in everything after The Avengers so I hope his involvement in this show is minimal.
Moon Knight - Not interested at the moment.
Secret Invasion - I was never one of those fans who felt like this story had to be adapted for the MCU and I liked what they did with the Skrulls in Captain Marvel, but I’m 100% for it now that Samuel L. Jackson and Ben Mendelsohn are involved!
Armour Wars - Finally giving Rhodey a leading role after playing pivotal supporting roles in a gazillion movies is long overdue. Sounds like an interesting premise. Will definitely watch!
Ironheart - Not very familiar with the character so I don’t have much of an opinion at the moment. Will probably watch though.
The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special - For some reason I have the feeling this is just going to be a Star Wars Holiday Special parody/rip-off.
I Am Groot - Will probably be cute.
Black Widow - I’m over it at this point. Was never really into it. Should have come out years before Endgame. Will only be watching for Yelena Belova.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings - Admittedly was not familiar with the character prior to the announcement. I like Michelle Yeoh and Awkwafina though, and I’m interested to see what the movie does with The Mandarin (after the disaster that was Iron Man 3). No real opinion until I see the trailer.
Eternals - Would not be interested in this at all except for the fact that I like Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, and Kit Harrington. The cast is massive and star-studded to the point of feeling bloated.
Untitled Spider-Man 4 - Not sold at all on the multiverse/spiderverse, but the previous MCU Spider-Man films are among my favourites and I thought they both sounded like crap initially. Will definitely reserve judgement until I actually see the movie. As much as I adore Tom Holland’s Peter Parker, my wish for this movie is that we see a move towards more classic Spider-Man comic elements (The Daily Bugle and Peter’s photography, a mere mention of Uncle Ben, Harry and Norman Osborn, etc.)
Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness - Not really interested right now.
Thor: Love and Thunder - Will likely not be watching. An unpopular opinion but Ragnarok was my least favourite MCU movie.
Black Panther II - Right now I am just eagerly awaiting any announcement regarding their plans for where they are taking this franchise.
Captain Marvel 2 - I loved the first movie, Brie Larson, and Carol Danvers. Kamala Khan and Monica Rambeau appearing in this makes me so happy! Hopefully Goose will be back! The Ms. Marvel tv show seems to imply that Captain Marvel is famous enough as a superhero to have merchandise, so I hope this movie explains when and how that happened (presumably during the 5 years after the snap that we didn’t see in Endgame).
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 - Very torn about this one. I really loved the first two movies, but my enthusiasm for the franchise has admittedly soured due to controversies involving certain members of the cast and crew. Will watch it, but not particularly bothered either way.
Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania - I am truly upset by the decision to recast Cassie Lang, perhaps to the point of being irrational. Hopefully I get over it because I have been looking forward to this movie for so long. The plot sounds good and I am anticipating much family cuteness.
Blade - Never saw the original movies and only know the character from Spider-Man: The Animated Series.
Fantastic Four - We all knew this was inevitable. Just give me a comic accurate Susan Storm and a teenage/young adult Johnny Storm (because if we don’t get Spideytorch content then what’s the point?) and I will be happy.
Untitled Deadpool - Not the biggest Deadpool fan, but the second movie was amusing. Will probably watch out of curiosity.
Untitled X-Men/Mutant movie - Not sure how they are going to integrate Mutants into the already very established history of the MCU. If they do go ahead with this movie I hope that it focuses on different characters from the 20th Century Fox X-Men franchise. Personally I don’t want to see Erik and Charles played by anyone else after Ian McKellan, Michael Fassbender, Patrick Stewart, and James McAvoy.
Star Wars:
Obi Wan Kenobi - We have Hayden Christensen! This is not a drill! Honestly I am so happy! He was absolutely incredible in RotS and he truly deserves all the love he’s been getting over the years. As exciting as a reunion between his Vader and Ewan’s Obi Wan will be, a tiny part of me is frustrated because I thought Episode IV implied that their encounter on the Death Star was their first encounter since Mustafar? I’m sure they will find a way to make it work, however. Deborah Chow is an amazing director. I hope they cast a young Luke :3
Andor - Definitely my most anticipated Star Wars project after Obi Wan Kenobi. Really excited to see more of life in the Rebel Alliance, and loving the sound of the “nail-biting spy thriller” angle. Glad that Genevieve O’Reilly is back as Mon Mothma. Keeping my fingers crossed for Jimmy Smits.
The Bad Batch - The animation looks stunning. Always interested to see more of the early days of the Empire.
Ahsoka - I don’t want it
Rangers of the New Republic - Not a lot of information except that it’s “culminating in a climatic event” with other stories, which sounds ugh. Reserving judgement until we learn more and see a trailer.
Lando - Awaiting more info. No word yet on whether Donald Glover or Billy Dee Williams will be back, but we can’t go wrong if either one (or both) are involved.
The Acolyte - Sounds like it could be interesting. Glad to see other time periods in the Star Wars universe being explored.
Star Wars: Visions - Will probably watch for pretty anime animation.
A Droid Story - Sounds like it will be cute, and I love droids so will probably watch.
Rogue Squadron - Unless it’s an adaptation of the EU Rogue Squadron, I’m not particularly interested. If we’re getting Corran Horn, Mirax Terrik, Tycho Celchu, and Wes Janson, however, then I am 100% onboard!
Untitled Taika Waititi Star Wars - Not a fan of Ragnarok as has already been established, nor did I like aspects of his episode of The Mandalorian. Can’t imagine that I will be interested.
Other:
Fate: The Winx Saga (Netflix) - This looks like a cheesy guilty pleasure at best and a dumpster fire at worst. I wish that Prince Sky’s hair was longer. W.I.T.C.H. would have translated better into live-action if they wanted to adapt a mid-2000s era cartoon.
Batwoman Season 2 (The CW) - This looks like a huge improvement from season 1. Judging from the trailer I think they made an excellent decision by bringing in Javicia Leslie. The character dynamics all look really interesting. My most anticipated CW show along with Superman and Lois.

The Cool Side of My Pillow Interview: A Trip Inside the Mind of Bruce Campbell.
When you mention the name Bruce Campbell, the first thing that readily springs to most people’s minds is the boomstick toting, chainsaw-wielding final guy of the Evil Dead franchise, Ash Williams. However, for some of his fans, he will be forever linked with the Harvard educated, resourceful bounty hunter, Brisco County, Jr. Then, of course, there will be those devotees of Burn Notice that will be quick to let you know that Sam Axe, the ex-Navy Seal with a love of Mojitos and Tommy Bahama shirts is their guy because we all know, “Chuck Finley is forever.” For those of you that have never had the pleasure of watching the inventive spy show, Chuck was Sam’s alias that he would use as a cover on certain operations. The mere fact that Bruce Campbell is a part of three vastly different fandoms says quite a bit about his ability as an actor as well as his likeability quotient.
A headliner on the convention circuit for years, the minute he is announced as a guest, tickets go flying out the door and venues sell out. Campbell understands what the people want and he is more than willing to give it to them which is why most promoters clamor to book him. His Q & A sessions are legendary and audiences love the way he sarcastically banters with them. In addition to being an accomplished actor, director and producer, Bruce is also a New York Times bestselling author with four books under his belt. If Chins Could Kill: Confessions of a B-Movie Actor, Hail to the Chin: Further Confessions of a B-Movie Actor, Make Love the Bruce Campbell Way and his soon to be released, The Cool Side of My Pillow.
His latest book is a collection of essays or as he would say, “rants.” This venture is unlike any of the previous mentioned titles and perhaps his most personal effort to date. In a sense, you get to take a trip inside Campbell’s mind. He expresses his feelings and opinions on a variety of topics from current events and social media to his code of ethics. I was fortunate enough to chat with Bruce about The Cool Side of My Pillow, and his future projects. After reading his book, you come away with the knowledge of how genuine and thoughtful he is which is refreshing in this day and age.
Diabolique: What I like so much about The Cool Side of My Pillow is your honesty. Your writing style makes the reader feel as if they are having an intimate conversation with you. You don’t hold anything back. There are certain aspects in the book which made me feel a tad uncomfortable because you shared some information that was deeply personal, in my mind. I don’t know if I would have included some of the things that you did.
BC: Oh, sure. You always have to decide where you stop. Where is the line? For me, it depends on the type of book. It depends on the type of subject matter. Every project is different.
Diabolique: Were some of the subjects you tackled cathartic for you?
BC: I don’t normally do that sort of stuff. I’m happy to share if I feel something is useful. In the chapter, “What Are You On?” I’m not ragging on people who have habits. I have habits that was the point. There are very few people that just go through their daily life without jacking themselves up, knocking themselves down, knocking themselves out, you know? So, its kind of amazing. The human condition fascinates me.
Diabolique: “A Little Effort Goes a Long Way” is one of my favorite segments. A tale of hard work, ingenuity and perseverance. Which is key to succeeding in the entertainment industry. Where does your drive come from? Some people can pinpoint it to relatives, a mentor…
BC: I do attribute some of it to the Detroit metro area. A lot of my buddies worked on the line, they worked in the factories, it was a great summer job that paid really good money. In Detroit, it was weird. There weren’t a lot of discussions about hopes and dreams. But I could see things happen incrementally that encouraged us. My grandfather worked for ALCOA Aluminum for over 40 years. Would he want to do that job? Was it his favorite job? He wouldn’t even know; it was his only job. He had that job for his whole adult life. My dad wanted to be a painter. I call him a “go betweener” because he didn’t do exactly what he wanted to do but he didn’t do what he didn’t want to do. He got into advertising because it was sort of creative but it wasn’t creative enough so he got into community theater which was more creative. That filled a very strong niche for him and so he kind of straddled the line and then I came along. He allowed me to pretty much do whatever the hell I wanted to do in whatever industry I wanted. He was the first investor in Evil Dead. So, I benefited from the transition of ONLY having drive. Meaning, you just go to work, it doesn’t matter what the job is. The next generation is, “Well, the job kinda matters.” My generation is, “The job matters a hundred percent,” because it determines what you’ve decided to do with your life. So, I am grateful for having enough drive but grateful for being injected with enough freedom of thought to then do my own thing. Partly the drive is the Midwest because you put a tie on, put your sport coat on and you go to work. Get your briefcase, shine your shoes and off you go.
Diabolique: Do you think it is important if you want to be in the arts to have a benefactor? Not necessarily monetarily but someone who encourages you like your dad?
BC: Well, my mom did sort of amateur writing so she was sympathetic at least to that side of the arts. She liked that creative side. My dad was way more interested in acting. So, I saw him in plays and stuff. I definitely benefitted because I had a sensibility that was similar to my dad. My two older brothers could give a shit about acting. They never touched it. I think my dad saw, “Hey, the young guy likes acting just like me.” That was probably an advantage.
Diabolique: Another thing about that particular section that is fascinating to note is your resourcefulness. The anecdote that you recount about having to come up with a way to deliver newspapers in a horrendous snowstorm and the lengths that you went to just to do your job is inspiring. I feel like that isn’t something that would be done by the younger generation, these days.
BC: We were pre-slackers and again, this isn’t to sound like a crabby, old guy on a hill shouting down about the great old days, at that time there were no other options. Our boss dropped off these papers at the top of a hill. That was as far as his van could go. He dumped the whole thing on me and my brother. We delivered them together (the resolution involved Bruce donning hockey skates and a toboggan). So, we thought okay. There was no option of saying, “Dude, I can’t do it. They’re just not going to get their papers today.” That would be the current response. You would wait until the roads were plowed, like that night, and then you would get your damn paper the next day and you’d end up getting two papers. It wasn’t an option. There was nothing in my upbringing that said, you can tell your boss, no. Now, if I thought it would have been very dangerous or life threatening, I probably would have said, no but short of that, there was a slightly different mentality in the air. You did what you were fucking told, for the most part which is a little bit different now.
Diabolique: “The Princess Di Factor” was a thought-provoking chapter because you talk about the click-baiting, disinformation and too much information that occurs on social media. Some of your peers have their PR reps handle their feeds but you are very present in yours. Do you think someone who is interested in getting into show business has to obtain “influencer” status?
BC: I think there is certainly pressure to do it. The old actors when they were doing a film could get away with telling the local studio, “By the way, I don’t do social media.” They say, “I’ve never done it. I don’t have a Twitter feed. I’m not starting now.” They can get away with it. But a younger thespian has a website and at least two or three social media platforms. I think its important to get a distinction of what are using them for? Facebook is all mercenary. Whenever I post, its just for a link to get tickets. I just do that to keep the account warm but I won’t add to it. That one is really inflammatory. They are finally starting to take the misinformation down. It should just be illegal. The stats are mind boggling. Something like 65% of the people who refuse to do social distancing and stuff like that get their information from YouTube. Its not news sources. Its like the Wild West. I think it needs to be settled. I would introduce journalistic standards and practices where by if you tell a little white lie, you get yanked and if you get fact checked and the facts say you’re wrong, that gets yanked.
Diabolique: At the beginning of your book, you discuss the toll of COVID-19 isolation and changes to the convention and motion picture industries. After presenting the Ashland Independent Film Festival awards virtually, do you think conventions might go that route in the future? San Diego Comic Con has gone entirely online which is surprising. Galaxy Con is another.
BC: If we don’t straighten this out, yeah. Sports are going to be weird for a while. Large venues are just going to be strange. How are you going to figure out the San Diego Comic Con? How are they going to make people feel comfortable jamming 125,000 people over a four-day period into that convention center which is already elbow to elbow and unhealthy? I don’t know. I’ve talked to promoters about a bunch of different things. I’m doing a Drive-In tour. Also, some theaters have opened up again so I am going to encourage and reward that so I have added five theater dates for later this summer: Austin, Dallas, Houston, Oklahoma City and San Antonio. I’m getting back out on the road. This is not a tour year at all but when I heard that drive-ins were making a comeback, I thought let me be part of that. Some of them are struggling to open and I want to help. I’m tired of being on the sidelines. I want to get back into it. Drive-ins are perfect. You’ve got your distance. I can go up to cars and hassle them and there’s no problem. I can shine my flashlight in the cars, see if people are having sex, there’s a lot of fun stuff we can do. I want to be the first guy they meet when they come into the place to park. I want to be the guy that parks everybody. It’s time. Everyone wants to feel normal again. Eat the meatloaf sandwich. Going to the drive-in is the oldest meatloaf sandwich you could ever eat. Bring the hooch. Hide it under the seat. Bring a cooler, bring your reefer…
Diabolique: In The Cool Side of My Pillow, you mentioned that you were going to attend San Diego Comic Con, New York Comic Con and the 2020 Electronics Expo which were all canceled due to the pandemic. Were you going to promote the Evil Dead game?
BC: That’s what I was going to do. That’s what I was going to those conventions for.
Diabolique: What’s the status on it?
BC: I have been looking at and approving a bunch of new stuff. They are full-fledged, full bore into it. I think they are talking 2021 for an actual release. Its rolling along, looking great. It got delayed because of the nightmare of video games. Platforms change and evolve. You look at somebody else’s games and go, “Shit! We have to change everything now.” We have to stay current. I have to finish doing the voice work.
Diabolique: I know you are aware of all the rumors surrounding potential work in the future. You even mentioned in your book that you had a few offers. Is there a possibility that you might show up in Doctor Strange 2 and Mall Rats 2?
BC: The Kevin Smith thing could happen if it all winds up together but we haven’t had serious conversations about it. For Dr. Strange, everyone is at the mercy of what Marvel is going to do and this backlog of movies they’re going to do now. So, I think it won’t be until 2021. Marvel has to figure this all out. They have to figure out what movies they are going to do next, what movies they are going to delay, what movies they are going to shit can, what movies they are going to advance and speed up…the marketplace is ever fluid.
Diabolique: Do you have a release date in mind for The Cool Side of My Pillow?
BC: I have to say summer. We’re blasting away. We’re finishing graphics and photos and all that. We’re doing some legal crap. I’m starting a publishing company too. Tartan Media is going to release it. It will be my Campbell clan logo. It will be just to put things out. Movies, TV shows, whatever. That’s the new shingle.
Diabolique: Is there anything else on the horizon?
BC: Because the book isn’t going through Simon & Schuster, they’ll kind of have to find it where they find it. I’ll tweet about it. It will hopefully be available later this summer through Audible. I am going to do the audio book myself within the next two weeks because I want the e-book and the audiobook to come out at the same time. That way it gives you a choice. I want this to be a summer read.
Diabolique: Any updates on Bruce vs Frankenstein?
BC:  With Bruce vs Frankenstein, I talked with Mike Richardson, who is my partner on this and we’re going to start with a graphic novel. So, I am going to adapt the screenplay. We’re going to put that out first so people in the industry can get a better sense of it. Mike has been selling a lot of projects to Netflix and he said that’s kind of the way to go with his material and fantasy stuff so he suggested we do that first. We’ll get a great artist, sell it in comic book form, people can totally see it and as a director, its kind of like doing storyboards. It’s a tremendous amount of extra prep that I can do just by going through it because I actually have to think about pages, panels and descriptions. It’s a format that’s not my normal format. Screenplay format, I can fart, I got that down. This is different with the way it looks on the page so it will be a very interesting translation process.
Diabolique: Are you doing any projects outside of Tartan Media?
BC: There’s this movie, 18 ½. It’s directed by Dan Mirvish. He’s with Slamdance. The story is about the missing minutes of the Nixon tapes and what happened to those minutes. Originally, I got hired to play a character in the movie and I couldn’t do it for a number of reasons and then the guy came back and asked if I would play Nixon.
Diabolique: So, the audience will just hear you?
BC: Yes. Apparently, it’s this 18-minute-long fight scene where you will hear Nixon in the background. Ted Raimi comes into play Alexander Haig and Jon Cryer is playing Haldeman. We did all these sessions over Zoom and we each recorded them separately (saying this in Nixon’s voice) having our conversations. They will put it all together and put it in the background.
Diabolique: Anything new to report on Evil Dead?
BC: The official name is Evil Dead Rise. We’re getting a new draft in. I don’t think anything will happen until 2021. Full bore ahead, we’re very excited about it. A whole, new ballgame. No more cabin in the woods.
