I find it so funny when people say Nam-gyu is the scariest character of the season when In-ho is literally right there

#mind you the reason he’s ‘scary’ is because he is literally manipulating EVERYONE #he’s not scary per say but #this is mainly on TikTok I think #people keep making creepy edits of him (which I love don’t get me wrong)#in-ho is scary because he’s literally the man in charge #he’s getting a front row seat of the games just like player one from last season #but his reasoning is much different #he wants to bend gi-hun into a monster #and wants to manipulate his morals subtly #he plays nice and pretends to be a scared player #and he’s very good at it too #everyone believes it even to the point that the viewers even start to believe him #forgetting his true position and power behind him #nam-gyu isn’t scary he’s just dangerous because he’s extremely high #and I do not think he would in his right mind kill someone outside of the games (if we’re considering the possibility that he never joined)#but in-ho actively kills people sober and with no remorse #he does not see the players as people anymore #even if he was one himself #seeing stuff like this can severely alter your brain chemistry #and actively working on things like this YEARLY #making these games to satisfy those who previously tortured you #he’s a girlboss though and I love him #but if we’re thinking realistically of ‘who’s the scariest squid game character’ it’s going to be in-ho #or deok su obviously #because he is actively dangerous inside and out of the games #no remorse to his actions either #anyway this isn’t a rant just an analysis #and speaking my mind #I just think it’s so interesting that people think nam-gyu is so scary when in reality underneath it all he’s terrified of the games #and is using these VERY intense drugs as a way to cope that I’m sure make him do things he would not realistically do if he was sober

Wes caught it, because of course he did cautious bastard. And yes she realises this now that fighting on the street was not the smartest move but it was a long time since she saw her friends from Amity and they got along fairly well with Weston.

So they had a good time, she managed to nip him on the cheek with her knife (after taking it back) he left her with a new bruise (it will be gone by tomorrow noon) and then they were both taken in by the police...

And now she has to explain why she did what she did to the GCPD and Ancients help probably Batman as soon as she gets back to her apartment. Who could've guessed that having a friendly brawl would be so taboo in Gotham? (who is she kidding of course it's suspicious it looked like they were trying to kill each other to any normal person!)

This is a livable space.#I've helped out friends and family who were struggling and let me just say...I have seen some pretty dysfunctional living spaces.#Hell I've *lived* in some very dysfunctional living spaces.#Hording dishes under the bed was always something that grossed me out but it's unfortunately something I've seen people do way too often.#The horror everyone has upon walking into WWX's 'living' set up is so consistently 'Mate how are you living like this?'#It's honestly so integral to me that WWX's 'just left home for the first time' house/room be a depression/dysfunction pit.#You can learn a lot about someon's state of mind from how they keep their living space...and this guy is oozing 'deep depression'.#I don't think he's eaten anything but foods that classify as a struggle meal in a year.#Everyone is trying to stage an intervention but he just isn't in a good enough place to help himself.#By the way: I want to steer away from shaming people who have messy homes/rooms because life *does* hit hard sometimes.#My love language is coming into your home to do your dishes and do some housework. Don't apologize for the mess king.#Nothing could top some of the places I've had to help my older siblings out of.#I'd be okay with my flatmate having a severed limb and a blood pool at this point.#As long as he lets me take out the dishes from under the bed - We're good! Following an accident, Danny wakes up in Gotham City in a DC universe. Lacking any forms of ID or possessions beyond the clothes on his back, he’s forced to commit some crimes to survive. Minor crimes, but still.

And then he gets caught.

During the court proceedings, they come to the mistaken conclusion that he’s a Meta suffering from some psychiatric issues such as Cotard’s Syndrome (a real rare condition where a person holds the delusional belief that they’re dead/don’t exist/etc).

Thus, between his “need for mental treatment” and the concerns about housing someone with his unique physical traits, he is sentenced to spend time in Arkham Asylum. He’s under pretty low security aside from the anti-Meta stuff and has more freedoms than some other inmates, but it’s still not a great experience. Even at the best of times, Arkham is hardly a nice place.

Some of his fellow residents are decently chill all things considered, but lots very much aren’t.

#dp x dc #dpxdc #dc x dp #dcxdp #danny phantom x dc #danny phantom x dc crossover #danny fenton in gotham city #just gonna slightly sidestep any questions about how the containment systems work or why “genuinely a ghost” is so unbelievable #i wanted to put Danny in Arkham so for whatever reason It Just Works #maybe danny had a bit of anti-ghost tech with him that they reverse engineered #or maybe something already existing in DC works #and as for the “dead” part… maybe his halfa/Realms nature is too unique so they assume he must be wrong about being ghostly? idk #also i think this’d be a good opportunity for a dpxdc fic to explore non-woobified versions of the rogues #like. where they aren’t watered down to be completely chill and barely criminals #e.g. yeah Poison Ivy cares for the environment and has protected kids but she’s still a terrorist who’s killed and mind controlled people #Or Killer Croc who is very much a victim of abuse/hate for his appearance but has also still attacked people and engaged in cannibalism #They’re not complete monsters but they’re not wholly innocent either #The story idea takes place in a mental hospital for (mostly) criminals! Let them have done genuinely bad things even if they’re improving!
