and it's that loneliness and isolation that xin mo capitalizes on. those feelings of loneliness and isolation make his self esteem worse and his emotional state more unstable, because deep down is a miserable and lonely child that wants to be held and comforted and love

luckily for him, all shen qingqiu wants is to hold him and comfort him and make him feel loved! I think post-canon, they'll spend a long time confronting those wounds left by loneliness, except now instead of having to bear it alone, sqq will be there to hold him in his arms and tell him I'm sorry you were hurting, I'm sorry you were alone, you never should have gone through that. and there's the promise that he won't ever have to be alone again because that's the promise sqq made to him. from now on, wherever binghe goes, shen qingqiu will follow

You know how Solomon's group chat names with the others are written in Latin, (Diavolo's, Mammon's, and his chat with Barb and Asmo)? It got me thinking about if he uses a Latin term of endearment for us.

I feel like he'd use something like mea vita - my life, mea lux - my light, meum solatium - my comfort, mea stella - my star, or deliciae - darling/favorite/pet.

Another thing I adore about saxteen bubble universe, and am happy to report I included in my own series but also found in a brilliant makeout fic, is Fourteen being sooo enamoured by the little padding on the waist Saxon got along with the beard. He finally has something to grab and squeeze. He's constantly nuzzling either at the beard or the tummy, while the Master acts appalled and Donna just has to put up with the purring noises.

Like, s10 would have ended differently if Twelve took a moment to compliment on the Master improving his diet.

The episode where everyone is like 'omg wait Batman killed someone??? Oh no!! Bad Batman!!' is so much fucking funnier when you've just watched season 1 and like...Terry is killing people so much. Barbara where have you been he's been like this since the beginning and the one time he actually DID NOT EVEN TRY TO KILL THE GUY OR EVEN COME CLOSE you decide that now is the time to bring him in.

I know I'm in a minority here, but I honestly do not think Crowley will stay anywhere near the bookshop in S3. He'll probably find a way to keep tabs on it, make sure it's still in good hands. But I can't see him hanging around in it with Aziraphale gone. Or seeking comfort in Muriel's company, or anyone else's.

I strongly suspect that when we next catch up to him, he'll be on his own. Because that's how it's always been, apart from this one friend. I could be wrong, of course; he might learn healthy coping mechanisms in between seasons. But I doubt it. I think that if Aziraphale checks in, he won't find Crowley anywhere. Where is he? Where he's always been when you're not around. Alone.

having read nearly all of the Jeeves short stories, it’s so funny to me that Bertie’s bisexuality manifests as casting a wide but shallow net at girls and a narrow but ridiculously deep net at men. He thinks girls are pretty on a reasonably frequent basis, and has tried to marry at least four women thus far (not counting the unwanted engagements), but when it doesn’t work out he’s over it in 24 hours. Meanwhile he shows absolutely no interest in and never gives flattering depictions of 99% of the men in his life, but will praise Jeeves to anyone who will listen, wax poetic about his appearance (and get defensive on his behalf about it when a child insults it), and is absolutely inconsolable when they are separated.

(also Bertie is in no way allosexual. he is canonically terrified at the thought of reproducing. and due to the narrow but deep net on the other end I don’t imagine he’s going around sleeping with loads of men, either. that man’s either demi as hell or just entirely ace)

AU, where the Continuums law does not include Capital Punishment (making one of their own a mortal) so instead of turning Q into a human he is sentenced with even for a Q, a very long time of solitary confinement. The first person he goes to once he gets out of his prison is the one he has thought about and missed the most in it: HIs capitaine Jean-Luc Picard.

Said 'capitaine' is now faced with a Q who he has seen about a year ago but who clearly has not seen him for ages on end and who also has become more mad than usual. And who now suffers from separation anxiety.

This is not exactly the result the Continuum had wanted, but it certainly is a result that makes Q less of nuisance and a danger to them so they don't really care.
