I don't care what anyone says. I keep seeing Dom-Eddie this and Top-Eddie that.

I accept nothing less than Eddie learned about Queer culture and immediately put a handkerchief into the wrong pocket just because he thought it looked cool.

You cannot convince me that at some point an experienced gay who assumed Eddie was all dom and tough wouldn't stop in his tracks and watch this boy call over a group of people just so he can show them that Steve can benchpress him like a sack of flour.

You absolutely cannot convince me that Eddie doesn't make a character in D&D that's based after Steve thinking he's being so subtle about it, when in reality everyone knows it's Steve because Eddie spends a good ten minutes describing how strong and amazing and good the character smells.

It also doesn't help that he invites Steve for the practical demonstrations.

"Hey Steve!" he'll shout over everyone's heads towards the other boy sitting on the ratty couch reading a gossip magazine.

Steve would perk up. "Yeah?"

"I'm trying to demonstrate how this orc might throw someone over their shoulder." Eddie will never admit he swoons, even while he twists his curls around a finger and swings his feet under the table. "Could you...?"

"Oh! No problem!"

"He really doesn't have to," Gareth will say, weakly.

"We can envision it, we really can!" Lucas adds.

Eddie's already got his shining eyes set on Steve, vibrating out of his skin while Steve gives his muscles a preemptive stretch. "Yeah, but I really want to make this experience immersive. Now, fair knight, give me my uppies."

Everyone in Hellfire is so happy that Eddie is happy but they're absolutely suffering.

Shoto Is rich, i mean he’s gotta be it if his dad is the (new) number one hero right?? And even though I think his love language is acts of service i wholeheartedly believe he loves spoiling izuku with gifts. It doesn’t matter if it’s big or small he will get it for izuku if he catches him staring for too long at an all might figure/Hero merch or if it’s something that reminds him of izuku when he’s out and about. And even though izuku’s tried convincing shoto not to buy him gifts all the time, he will still find a new gift waiting at his desk when he arrives at school once a week. Because shoto loves the even bigger smile that grows on izuku’s always smiling face when he sees the all might figurine from the mall at his desk, and the way he turns towards shoto with that same smile. And if that means he’ll have to blow his allowance every week, then so be it, if that means that smile is directed towards him.

Give me Sirius Black who knew he liked Remus romantically. Who wanted to say something but was stopped by an overwhelming fear of rejection because that was what he’d known all his life (courtesy of his parents).

Sirius knew he liked Remus but anytime someone asked him how he felt he would deny it because he was terrified that it would get back to Remus and it would ruin their relationship forever.

Give me Sirius who knew how he felt about Remus but was scared of it. Scared because he’d been told it was wrong. Scared that Remus would think so too.

Sirius was scared because what Remus thought mattered. He wanted Remus to approve of him. He was scared Remus wouldn’t look at him the same way anymore.

Give me Sirius who was denying his feelings for Remus from himself too. He knew that he was in love but he wouldn’t allow himself to think it because then it would be real.

Sirius was denying his feelings to himself because he didn’t want to feel that way. He just wished he could be normal.

He didn't know that Théoden had arisen.

He fought for weeks at the Isen, enduring the attacks and the dreadful losses there. Then he was there again, when Isengard emptied and pushed them across the river. Their camp was attacked again overnight, and the shield wall was broken, and they were overmastered.

And after that, after a sleepless night of battle, with a dinted helm and a cloven shield, he rode all day, so fast that when they found him, he could only slowly climb down his horse 'and stood there a while gasping'. Gasping!

And he has no hope then, he said that the riders coming from Edoras were too few, too late, and that they should go back to Edoras before the wolves of Isengard find them.

And when he sees Théoden, his face lights up 'with joy and wonder', and he draws himself up.

'Then he knelt, offering his notched sword to the king.' Sorry, him offering his notched sword is where I break.

And then Théoden orders that he receives a fresh horse, TO RIDE INTO BATTLE AGAIN.

My poor man has dented, broken arms, he barely caught his breath, he's horribly tired and sleep-deprived, and he has to turn around to head for what turns out to be the battle of the Hornburg!

I apologize, but I don't believe I will shut up about Ceorl any time soon.

My boy got a pep talk from the woman he admires most and a new title! Love that for him, he needed to hear that and so glad this trip to Zephrah is helping him work through his emotional state and re-connect to who he's always been. A man full of hope who aims to protect all that he loves.
