hi i just wanna say thanks to everyone who's read and enjoyed the sylus fics i've put out so far (also the few who enjoyed the first part of the imaginary friend!xavier AU i posted months ago haha), u guys are the best 🥹❤️ it's always a treat to read all ur comments and tags in reblogs!!

i never thought i'd be this active in this community tbh–not really one to make fan content in my spare time (a little too lazy, always a little too busy) so imagine my surprise when LADS of all things got this ol' brain revved enough to make fanart, fanfics and a solitary capcut edit lmao 😭 i'm always afraid of getting burnt out since my full-time job + studies both demand a lot of creativity. but i’m still managing ok so far! my current bandwidth's enough to put out 1 update on the sylus series every week. if things get busier, especially with the incoming holidays, i hope u guys can be patient if (and the inevitable when) the updates come in slower 🙏

There seems to be a general malaise on most of Tumblr about TikTok getting banned in the United States.

I understand the problems, "brain rot", whatever but- A government banning a social media app that opened the world for many people is legitimately scary and upsetting. Say what you want but, there are MANY global and local issues that would not have gotten the same traction, recognition, and outreach without TikTok.

And then add to this that Meta/Facebook was one the largest lobbyists working to get TikTok banned... Like- I think folks should be more concerned about the implications of what this means, especially since the ban goes into effect the day before inauguration.

It's honestly crazy that discussion around testosterone HRT skews so much towards the beginning stages of it (to the point that you have dozens of guys thinking their transition is "failed" if they don't pass by like a year in lol) and what the initial changes of the first couple of months to years look like, like the classic laundry list of those early basic changes like bottom growth, voice drop, etc, when IMO literally none of that compares remotely to the depth and intensity of the long term total masculinization you start to experience like 3-5+ years in.

Second pic was obvi The Pieta by Michelangelo, but shoutout to my partner for suggesting the role reversal cause I was initially gonna draw Viktor in Jayce's arms again, but having it the other way around gave me the idea for the last piece where they're mutually in each other's arms and on equal ground in the composition

also worth noting that "abusive" doesn't actually mean "irredeemable" either.

there's a lot of people that have done things in the past that were bad, because they weren't taught any better, or they were in an overall toxic situation where EVERYONE was shitty (like a cult), or they were just at an especially low point and hurt others for it.

you don't have to forgive them. you don't have to ever speak to them again. you can be angry with them until you die if you want.

but society cannot function if we don't allow them to move on. to change their behavior and fuck off somewhere else and build meaningful relationships without bothering you again. we need a path for people to change, or nothing ever will.
