Something something about renting and leases and being single v home ownership and endgame relationships and that owning only goes well if it’s as a couple.

Buck - renting his loft and is about to be subletting Eddie’s house

Bathena own their home (well the land at the moment but the previous house was owned and the new one will be)

Henren own their home

Madney we’re both renting but moved into a owned home when they came back together (I guess technically we don’t know if Chim owned or rented his apartment but the fact the buckleys provided the down payment on the new house implies he was renting)

And then we have Eddie - who owned the house into Paso when he was married to Shannon but is renting a house in LA but who is now seemingly buying a house in El Paso while subletting his LA rental house. And that’s kind of wild - because he will be both owning and technically renting at the same time.

But he’s buying a fixer upper and it’s being heavily implied by the subtext of the show and the interviews that fixing it up is not going to go well - that it’s going to cause problems - because he’s trying to do it alone rather than in an endgame relationship.

And it’s something to do with trying to recreate some version his life in El Paso - what he had with Shannon there because her ghost is still haunting the narrative (I will laugh if they go down the road of having Eddie’s house be haunted but Eddie won’t contemplate that because he doesn’t believe) all while technically still being tied to LA - representing his singleness.

And I think that is very interesting

What annoys me in fiction and tv is that often characters who do shitty things are let off the hook immediately, so I really hope that this doesn’t happen with K, because they deserve to be properly chewed out m

crazy to me that eddie was an entirely reasonable level of frustrated at his friend acting genuinely insane and unfair and now some people are trying to stab him with knives about it.

Something something about us being shown Eddie developing his cooking skills before buck - that were shown Eddie being able to cook a full meal (and bake) before were shown Buck doing the same thing. And something something about that foreshadowing Eddie having his full feelings realisation before buck.

Eddie’s cooking skills are on display in 5x11 outside looking in when he cooks dinner for buck Chris and Taylor - and he’s baked cupcakes for desert as well.

But we don’t actually get shown buck cooking a full meal until the 6x01 lasagne. He’s only got as far as breakfast foods when he makes Maddie an omelet in 2x04 stuck but we don’t get shown him actively cooking again until he makes the lasagne.

After that its hit and miss on the cooking and baking front for buck - burnt lasagne in a 7 and I’m assuming his baking isnt that great in 8x07 by the way Chim has one bite and then pushes the loaf away before he masters the ziti, garlic bread etc in 807 and then later the scones in 8x08.

barty and evan has diff partners and they're all at the forest for picnic time but guess which two individual went into the forest and started fucking the other? yeah rosekiller

evan is fucking him so hard and keeping his head down and barty's face is all scratching from the dirt and stones on the surface and he is bruising w slapping barty's ass hard but they're also far away from the others and they have to be quick so they won't come after them but evan makes sure to make barty cum first and shooting his load deep inside of him second
