As cameras becomes more normalized (Sarah Bernhardt encouraging it, grifters on the rise, young artists using it), I wanna express how I will never turn to it because it fundamentally bores me to my core. There is no reason for me to want to use cameras because I will never want to give up my autonomy in creating art. I never want to become reliant on an inhuman object for expression, least of all if that object is created and controlled by manufacturing companies. I paint not because I want a painting but because I love the process of painting. So even in a future where everyone’s accepted it, I’m never gonna sway on this.

Everywhere you go, Calcharo will follow. Sometimes it's a lucky coincidence (and he totally did not personally hand pick a job in certain locations, goodness no!) or, he just flat out took some time for himself, took his hard earned cash and just. Decided to stick around for who knows how long. How are so many of your bills being paid all of a sudden? How come you've been getting a lot more free things as of late? And why are people avoiding you like the plague???

All you can do is stand there, confused on all of these strange outcomes as the imposing man stands behind you, like a dark shadow which tails your every single move. His tall figure, crossed arms and deadly glare have become all too common in your residential area.

Sometimes, if someone is brave enough, they'll comment on your guard dog boyfriend. "Tell him to relax." they'd say, their gaze laser focused on Calcharo as they start to ponder on whether or not they should just bolt in the opposite direction.

the scene in wano when sanji calls out for robin asking her to help him means so much to me. this is a man whose father looked him in the eyes when he was just a child asking for help when he was hurt and asked him “why should i?”, a man who had it ingrained in him that he didn’t deserve help and when he asked for it wouldn’t come, a lesson learnt the hard way in that dungeon. needing help is a sign of weakness and the last thing he was allowed to be was weak. sanji allowing himself to ask for help when he needs it really is a testimony to how far he has come, both since his childhood and since whole cake island. he knows it isn’t weak to ask for help and he knows, with absolute certainty, that when he calls his crew will answer. he goes from a child whose pleas were ignored to a man whose family will be there for him in a heartbeat. and on robins end, the fact that sanji trusts her so whole heartedly means so much to her and god they mean so much to me as a duo

and then her banter with blackwall, who is one of the companions she has a mostly negative dynamic with, yet it is him and not dorian or cassandra that she responds kindly to.

blackwall doesn't dance around it or try to lessen the blow of bringing it up like dorian and cassandra do, and i think she appreciates that directness. she still doesn't open herself up to him, though. she is so,,, agh
