I’m getting a bunch of the Muslim conversion stuff too!! Weird

I think they just have a lot of influencers and a good social media presence, especially in the UK. In particular if they are a group related to a mosque/conversation group. The same way you have conversion and keep the line Christian influencers you get the same type in Islam too. Plus the algorithm, if you just stay to the end of one short even out of curiosity you will end up getting more. I'm just a lot more likely to just skip if someone starts bringing out bible verses and Jesus cause I know a lot about that already ,compared to someone quoting the Qur'an. Like the same evangelical/christian types who want to convert and save your soul in the most obnoxious and conservative way also exist in other religions ya know ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

#me rambling #though i will say these influencer types are alot better at the progrssive language around woman #becuase of certain tradtions in islam like the woman never having to give ger own money #which is Definitely better than chistian laws #but like sorry the coservative types telling me that bring taken care of and being a good person requires to let my husband have authority #and always pay for me #its like the devine feminine masucline types but with another religon

OLLD drawing I can share now of Timmy after recovery and care from staying on double life and being looked after by the box boys~

He’s healthier, happier, his hair and wings have grown back out and have a pretty blue-black sheen to them (that he never knew he had bc in hels his diet and environment only let them be dull) and he just heard the sound of a portal opening for someone to come visit~!

#I’m still gonna draw scraggly Timmy most of the time bc this version is only after a LONG long road of peace and health on double life #BUT LOOK AT HIM!!!!#my fave bit is that he still gets to have his long hair like he likes but he’s confident enough #to push it out of his face with ren’s glasses when he wants #the glasses also let him flip them down and protect his eyes which he needed a LOT when starting out #the sun is so warm and pretty but his eyes have known mostly darkness of his cave in hels so he needs some light reduction here and there #anyways I’m so happy to share this I will always love and explore pathetic creature Timmy and DONT GET ME TWISTED—he’s still very pathetic #even when healthy but he’s learned and growed and gets to put meat on him bones #gets a bit more of that Jimmy broadness in his shoulders and stands up a bit straighter so ppl realize even more that he kinda tall!!!#ok enough yammering BAM HITS U WITH THE TIMMY SMILE RAY HAVE A GOOD DAY #hels to pay au #htp art #Timmy #htp spoilers

I need Brennan to win an award. I need the world to know how exceptional a storyteller he is. How do you plan something like this?

I’m suddenly seeing the rat grinders as a sort of self insert for him. Not character-wise, but as tools for writing a mystery. Usually you start with the solution and work backwards. Brennan had to concoct this solution and prepare for every possible thing that the best DnD players he’s ever known might do to crack his story wide open. He needed an entire party of character foils whose primary goal was to cover their tracks and account for periphery details to outsmart The Bad Kids. An unfathomable amount of work to be able to tell this story at the pace it’s being told.

I found myself remarking earlier in the season how much planning and foreknowledge he had to have to have the variety of dome projections from @caitmayart he does and now I realize that’s just scratching the surface.

Don't let their looks fool you, they are actually good parents. (Maybe "okay" parents, they did let Liv run away with her boyfriend they never met and his band at 15. (But she was responsible and called them to explain her decision and that she already talked with the school and will be taking special exams at the end of every semester, so it's all good lmao.))

In my AU the Techno/Rock Trolls are the largest population of mixed trolls. They live concentrated along the shore between the Rock and Techno Kingdoms and also extending north into the no-man's-land on the map. This whole area is simply referred to as "the Shallows". They have their own communities and villages there which are located partially on land or exposed reefs/rocks and partially in the water.

Liv grew up in one of those villages. Her parents own a small apartment carved into a cliff side above the ocean. Personally they prefer walking over floating/swimming, and they can't stay in the sun for too long either (they all inherited sun sensitive skin from their Techno sides) so this way they're mostly on land and also aren't in direct sunlight after noon.

It's a modest home but I imagine they must have the prettiest sunrises.

Despite the Shallows having their own communities they still belong under the Rock Kingdom which doesn't really care about them or their different needs much, so a lot of the trolls living there are very anti authority.
