Got a surprising amount of requests relating to John being a parent to his various kids from various canons, but as someone who really doesn't vibe with the parental stuff- especially with small children and babies- I just felt inspired to draw something stupid instead. Here's your dad John having a Johnder reveal

my girlfriend works at a pet store and when they get an order of small animals in, they name them all for ease of differentiation/personal amusement and for this last order, she got to name them all after the terror. here are the highlights of that experience + some pictures:

every animal was given their character’s full name, i.e. there was a hamster (aptly) named charles frederick des voeux. this created a problem when someone would say that “john” was acting a little sluggish. girl there are four johns be specific

hamster david young arrived with an infection and immediately had to be quarantined (he was fine)

hamster pilkington was obsessed with being tall. at first, he would climb on top of his water dish to reach this little ledge that allowed him to stretch up as tall as he could and press his tummy flat to the glass of his enclosure. he later learned to do this without the aid of the water dish by hauling his tiny hamster body up onto the ledge through sheer force of will. he did this constantly

hamster crozier developed a sort of zoochosis wherein under-stimulated hamsters will run in circles as fast as they can until they die. a paper towel tube and some snacks immediately cured him of his need to sprint himself to death

silna was basically a ghost hamster who was only active at night when everyone left the store. she would, however, make an appearance when offered food

both manson and mcdonald decided to communicate their displeasure regarding their new food by dying (the only fatalities)

as of posting, the last hamster standing is, shockingly, graham gore

sofia cracroft and lady jane were the one pair of budgies and they mostly just sat around preening

the four guinea pig pairs were bridgens and peglar, fitzjames and dundy, armitage and tozer, and hickey and gibson

fitzjames and dundy were the chattiest pigs with dundy being the loudest. I can attest that if you even looked at their enclosure, he would begin screaming

armitage and tozer got along the best and spent their time snuggling and joyously popcorning together. tozer was probably my gf’s favourite and the only reason we don’t have guinea pig armitozer now is because they were swiftly adopted

guinea pig hickey. he wielded this moniker as an unholy scepter. my gf is convinced she cursed him. truly the most godless pig she had ever known. guinea pig gibson never knew a moment’s peace

bridgens and peglar bickered a bit and when my gf found bloody scabs on peglar’s legs and ears, she was terrified that bridgens was attacking him, so they were separated for a while. turns out, peglar and hickey were packaged together during shipping and it was hickey who was taking fucking chunks out of him. bridglar was then reunited.

gf swears up and down that guinea pig hickey looked her in the eyes and did the hickey neck roll. it was a little bit faster, but reportedly unmistakeable. no other guinea pig they’ve had has ever done this.

so while I was first listening I might have paused Part 53 to see if someone can fit a zippo lighter all the way in their mouth cause it feels a lot more secure than him just gripping with his teeth and like,, he’s absolutely put worse things in his mouth. that wouldn’t even make top five I bet

(it is absolutely possible, unless lighters were a bit bigger back then, it was pretty awkward but absolutely fits, it can go all back and can be held in place with molars with lips closed around)

guess it doesn’t matter though cause he has clothes now, but I really did want him to go full hamster with that thing (artistic rendition below)

Kevin Grant Gomez is such a funny character because everyone has to constantly remind the audience that he's a loser and no one likes him otherwise we would remember that he's just collecting love interests like infinity stones.

I think it’s sad that X never got a little animal companion. All his siblings have their own associated little animal friend why doesn’t he get one. I think he’d really enjoy owning a bunny.

under discussed part of chapter one: sherlock is known for being mycrofts brother (when he isn't recognized as violet's son). even mycroft himself refers to sherlock as "living in his shadow" in one letter. a number of times when he introduces himself its like a 50/50 if someone goes "oh is mycroft your brother" wrt game's story it explains part of why sherlock is Like That All The Time but in a real life context of . Like. Sherlock Holmes as a pop culture icon. its really funny.

was reading about chicken cannibalism and i can’t stop thinking about sunfyre. cannibalism as a learned behavior. cannibalism as a sign of extreme stress and poor conditions. sunfyre as a juvenile dragon who fought battle after battle and dragon after dragon. them eating grey ghost because their first instinct when seeing another of their kind is violence. cannibalism among chickens also spreads through the flock, cannibal the dragon spreading it to sunfyre and so on. aggression as a learned behavior. aggression becoming the first resort.
