Do you have any ideas of what his sisters and dad look like as denizens of hell? are the girls deers like Al, because there family? It seems that Angel, Arackniss (his brother) and Molly (his sister) are all spiders which I accounted into familiar bonds
They would be deer-like too, I think, for the family connection's sake (and it'll make my life easier XD). Designing creatures isn't my strongest suit, especially designs like in the HH, so I've decided that their demonic look would be similar to when they died (age too), only with some changes/hints to reflect the cause of their deaths.

Tumblr media
You weren’t even sure why or when it happened, all you remember is cold throbbing and your world disappearing before you awoke. You were wrong though, changed, the sounds of the forest were horrible and loud, the sun felt like a fire burning you and you were so hungry. You’d gone home on instinct mind a craze for something you never thought you’d need, blood. You’d slaughtered your parents and drunk them dry, their blood flowed through your system and you finally came to reality. You’d been in shock horror, you had wailed out into the wooden house, trashed the place before going into a numbness and burying them. You ran from the village, took few things, you wanted to die out in the wilderness, only your hunger forced you to survive. You lived off rabbits, deer, whatever was unfortunate enough to cross your crazed being. Your clothes were ruined and you felt like a hermit, your hair was matted horribly and you looked like a skeleton. It’d been a hot day and you hid in a cave panting at thirst and the warmth, you felt like a rabid dog almost. You had no idea where you were, your backpack you once had was lost to the woods and your shoes and clothes were ruined. You jolted awake, senses on edge and alerted as you felt something close. Your hunger raged and you attacked whatever it was, praying for just a deer, problem was, it spoke. You bit down on its neck, power flooded your veins and your eyes went wide and you stumbled off whoever it was. You shuffled back before getting off the ground and ready to run.
“Stop!” You froze at the word and every single hair on your body stood up.
“Who are you?” He asked and you wondered why on earth he was talking to you.
“Nothing, monster! no one” your voice wasn’t yours almost, it felt wrong, hoarse. Your eyes twitched over the woods wanting to run, you heard critters in the night making you jolt and flinch.
“What’s your name, darling?” He said voice smooth as honey.
“Nothing” you shook your head flinching when he stepped closer, why hadn’t you run?
“Who on earth did this to you?” He said more asking himself as he circled you. Your mind flashed between brown hair, red eyes, strong body and sharp cold fangs.
“A master shouldn’t leave its spawn, the spawn should leave its master” he said huffing and you frowned.
You finally found the will to move your body and sprinted through the woods, you were too quick for yourself practically smacked into every tree before you fell to the ground in agony. You hadn’t been able to cry in a long time, you just laid in the bottom of the forest floor, listening to footsteps getting closed.
“I’ll help you” you heard as someone lifted you and your world went black.
You awoke with a jolt rolling off the overly comfortable surface, you hit the cold floor with a groan. Your mind eyes opened and you stared at the grey floor, where were you? The smells and sounds weren’t familiar.
“Darling?” You heard confused and turned snarling at them. The man from the forest stood there a silk black cape behind him, his chest on display from the extremely low v-neck he work, tight leather top with pants lined with red, black lace up boots, a black jewelled head piece around his forehead, disappearing into his white curls. He approached slowly and you quickly scrambled away and hit the back of the wall, your chest heaved and you couldn’t focus properly.
“Love, you need to calm down” he said and you groaned loudly. A burst of magic left you, knocking the vampire to the ground, a groan leaving his lips.
“Sire?” You heard come from the door.
“Don’t!” The vampire growled, but you had already got up and to run out the door. You knocked over who was at the door, you got lost in the big black castle, the occasional person looking at you confused. You were knocked to the ground though a body covering yours and fangs latching on your neck. You whimpered body going limp at the growl that filled your ears. You knew it was the vampire from the forest, he didn’t drink your blood though, he simply held you there like a wolfs jaw around a rabbits neck.
“Are you done?” He let go and whispered and you nodded hesitantly. You noticed others around you and closed your eyes hoping they’d disappear.
“Leave!” He snarled and hurried footsteps left. He hesitated but slowly lifted his body off yours. You lay limply though opening your eyes again.
“Up” he ordered and your body listened. You stood on shaky legs not looking to him, holding a hand over your neck feeling your blood before the wound healed quickly. You wiped your hands on your pants and tensed as the vampire moved behind you. You avoided looking at him as he stood in front of you.
“Tell me your name” he ordered and you hesitated.
“Y/n” you muttered the name foreign almost. He muttered your name and your body shuddered.
“Why’re you out in the forest living like an animal?” He asked.
“I’m a monster” you said fangs aching at the thought.
“You’re not a monster, you just haven’t been taught” you looked up as he said those words eyes wide.
“I know all vampires around here, who turned you?” He asked and you began to shake.
“I don’t know!” You cried as boots came into your view and a hand held your neck gently. You gasped looking to the vampire, his Ruby eyes stern.
“Open your mind to me” he whispered and you frowned, you didn’t know magic.
“I don’t know how to, I don’t know magic” you said shakily.
“You have it in you” he said as his thumb moved to your bottom lip. Your whole body lit up seeing his eyes intently looking at your lips. He frowned shaking his head slightly and letting your neck go, confusion in his eyes.
“Sire” you heard the voice from before and turned to the person. Another vampire stood there, a young woman, well she looked young.
“What is it?” He asked to the woman.
“There’s an issue requiring your attention” she pressed glancing to you briefly.
“I have issues already, deal with yourself” he snapped and she huffed.
“Syla” he warned and she gave a cold face before turning to leave.
“For a spawn she is defiant” the vampire behind you tsked, how many of them were here?
“How about a bath?” He said suddenly and you frowned at him.
“Kano!” He yelled and you flinched. A dwarf appeared, a human, a pissed look on his face.
“What you want?” He huffed.
“Please take our guest to the bathroom, get some of the ladies to help her” the vampire said.
“Apparently I’m needed” he sighed walking past you and the dwarf, disappearing down the hall.
“Who are you?” The drawf asked and you gulped.
“Y/n” you said.
“Kano” he introduced beginning to walk away.
“Come on then!” He called and you followed. You were confused from the halls and door before you reached a bathroom.
“Molly” Kano called and a black haired woman looked your way, a white dress on her body.
“Oh” she said surprised at you.
“What happened?” She asked looking to the dwarf.
“Our lord found her” he shrugged and she sighed shaking her head.
“Come let’s get you cleaned up” she smiled softly and you frowned, glancing at the dwarf as he left. She beckoned you over before running the bath.

Quack Pack Autumn (Fall) - Huey, Dewey and Louie plus Phooey Duck with their family and friends in the forest with woodland animals and pets - Ducktales, Duck comics, Darkwing Duck and Quack Pack - Quack Pack AU - Duckvember - Game, Well-To-Do, Placid, Wild, Impish, Wayfaring, Emotional, Tenacious and Cultured Ducks - Tribute to Peanut Squirrel and Fred Raccoon - Easter Eggs (crossover) with animals - My style
I'm not a fan of autumn to be honest, but there are certainly various activities that can be done during that time of year. Autumn begins on September 23rd in the northern hemisphere when summer ends and lasts until December 22nd when winter begins in the northern hemisphere. A period when many leaves get various colors from the sunlight and fall down. Many children play in piles of leaves and scatter them around, while adults clean and prepare them as part of firewood or use them for soil fertilizer. So in this case, these ducks have an activity during autumn so they went to the forest and made their forest friends. I drew two drawings dedicated to that time of year and as one of the themes for Duckvember I just noted that these characters can be certainly placid, but also wild at the same time. It depends on the outcome in the forest and the attitude towards wild animals.
In this case, the animals they found in the forest (it doesn't matter if it's North America or Europe, although the biodiversity on the two continents is completely different) are actually very peaceful and seek attention for play. And those animals are in keeping with the personalities of these teenage ducks who hug them. And they wear clothes appropriate for autumn. Yes, I drew them in the Quack Pack version, and I think it certainly suits them (the same goes for preteens and regular younger children from the regular versions), especially Louie and Webby who love animals and care for them. Ducktales 1987 and the Quack Pack episode "Shrunken Heroes" prove my point. Huey got a fox, Dewey a beaver, Phooey a skunk, April a raccoon, May a bear, June a woodpecker and a sparrow, Webby a fawn, and Louie Duck and Gosalyn Mallard got both male and female rabbits and squirrels. Dugan Duck is having fun raking leaves like kids usually do. All happy together (not all of them) in the oak forest. Yes, I have of course added pets like Webby's pet rabbit named Sweetie, May's Knuckles the Iguana and Dugan's pet frog named Froggy. See more about that here: https://ducktoonsfanart.tumblr.com/post/705826485631614976/quack-pack-kids-and-teens-with-pets-first-of-all
Yes, I drew the animals as they usually look in cartoons and comics, so they are not realistic. And I also used what I drew from Donald Duck comics as well as other media. You may also notice some familiar characters as Easter Eggs, like Bambi the Deer from Bambi (1942), Todd the Red Fox from The Fox and the Hound (1981), Koda the Bear from Brother Bear (2003) and Pepe the Frog (2005) in addition to Froggy. Since the Quack Pack were members of the scouts (except Dugan), they certainly know how to deal with animals. XD Yes, the tribute is dedicated to Peanut the squirrel and Fred the raccoon from New York who were popular on social media (Instagram and Tiktok especially) and who were taken from their owners and euthanized unfortunately a month ago. And influenced the US elections. Better not ask me why. It is certainly sad what happened to them (Peanut and Fred) so it is partly dedicated to them, and I am a lover of forest animals myself.
I hope you like these drawings and these ideas and feel free to like and reblog this and feel free to say what you all like and what you don’t like. Just don’t use these same ideas and these designs of these characters and animals without mentioning me. Thank you! And I also want to dedicate a little to this season of autumn which is coming to an end soon.

Silence.
Frustrated, Buddy looks up with a scowl. Ready to scold the barista only to be met with a very familiar blonides deer in headlight impression. It wasn't like Buddy could tease him about it, considering his fish-out-of-water impression was somehow even more convincing.
"..."
"..."
"...we don't have pumps anymore."
Slowly, Buddy questioned like he wasn't sure if he was hallucinating or not "...you had them yesterday."
"Our manager broke this morning and then made us take them all down so it wasn't obvious."
"I see."
An awkward silence fell over them again. Buddy fiddling with his phone and Chase staring straight ahead. Distracted by Buddy's...pecular clothing choices.
Suddenly, the barista was snapped out of whatever trance he fell in by Buddy knocking on the counter between them a couple of times.
"My eyes are up here."
Chase wasn't sure if he should be blushing and wallowing in shame or furiously apologazing so, he decided on the third and secret option.
Aversion.
With a scowl, he put both his hands on the counter between them and leaned forward, looking at him straight in the eye "What are you doing here? Did you follow me you creep!?"
Buddy scoffed, casually leaning all his weight on one leg and crossing his arms "Oh, you love to think that word revolves around you, don't you?" he lowered his voice, leaning forward "I told you I would find and bring back the heroine key. Did you except me to-"

//Ok OK So I love your eatiers idea! Truly love it! I'm not familiar with the work they're an idea for but they sound so creepy and ominous and yet exactly like an already existing-work of canon fiction I can see them so clearly. I was imagining the tapir and ant-eater form until you said they were the size of moose and 😬 Oh my. That's terrifying. 😆😅 The biggest we have in my country are deer and large cows so just multiply that.
I can so see Kitty before getting lost in the night dimension wondering if by everyone being scared of these "eatiers" they are reacting in the same way Winnie and the Pooh and his friebds sometimes do when talking about hefalumps, woozels and jagulars. Corrupted names of already existing animals or creatures that aren't so bad once you get to know them. Then she finds out the hard way.
Kitty: I'm sure whatever these eatiers are they can't be all bad. Maybe they're just like elephants where as long as ya don't spook em, everything should be fine, right?
Kitty approximately 20 minutes after entering the night dimension: https://youtu.be/duIoRlbJKVQ?si=NI907n02_6ERj1yx
That is a very reasonable reaction! XD
Though really, Kitty has nothing to worry about. Since eatiers only hunt wicked nightmaren, visitors and nightopians are safe. Even nightmaren can be safe, as long as they are not truly harming a visitor. Eatiers are very much gentle giant's to those they have no beef with. You can sometimes even find pixies playing with them ^^
Hm... Maybe some nightmaren try to tell Kitty that these eatiers harm everyone when they see shes new? As a way to keep her from seeking safety from them? Though it backfires on them when she makes that conclusion XD
I can see Kitty possibly freezing up. Because when you encounter ANYTHING as big as an eatier, it makes you stop XD and this giant creature turns and looks at her, starts slowly walking her way and Kitty is wondering what she should do, before the eatier just gives her a gentle, affectionate headbutt and continues on their way <3 if NiGHTS or some nightopians are with her, they can explain how harmless eatiers can be ^^

Tumblr media
Tsu’tey sat in the roots of an old tree, finally finding a moment for himself. fixing his weapons making new arrows he heard an odd sound . He stayed still listening to it. It sounded like someone playing around with an instrument, soon the short bursts of sounds turned into a melody. The sound was beautiful, it sounded so familiar and yet so different. Soon the melody stopped. Tsu’tey ears folded in disappointment. He stayed still in hopes it would start again.
You sat by the river playing around with your kalimba not far from the human outpost. You played around with different notes before settling to play one of your favorite song’s . You played a few more songs before you heard a twig snap. Immediately your head snapped up looking around you except to find Jake. Definitely not expecting another Na’vi and least of all Tsu’tey. You sat there frozen like a deer caught in headlights. You finally came to and finally reacted to him greeting him. “ I see you, Olo’eyktan “ he simply looked at you, not returning the greeting. “ Was it you who created that music demon? “ Tsu’tey asked, looking at you with his usual scowl . “ y-yea i was the one playing the music “ you answered with your heart in your throat. What Tsu’tey did next completely shocked you, Tsu’tey crouched down next to you looking at the kalimba . You silently offered it to him so he could take a closer look at it . He took it looking at it pressing the tabs that each played a different note. He handed it back to you. You took it back but didn’t know what exactly to do next. Tsu’tey simply stayed next to you not saying a word, you eventually decided to go back to playing some songs. Tsu’tey stayed a while longer listening to you play before leaving without a word.
Over the next few weeks this became a regular event. If Tsu'tey was around and heard you playing he would simply come and listen to you play. One day you decided to talk to him, finally gaining the courage to. That day Tsu’tey joined you, you asked him. you stopped playing after a song “ uh .. would you like to learn how to play “you offered. After not hearing anything you turned your gaze up to him he looked like he was taking a moment to think about it before he reluctantly nodded. “ Alright, you’ll have to learn mine. I don't have a Na’vi size one, “ you told him.
There were a few moments of silence before Tsu’tey spoke “ the music is very similar to some of our own . I didn’t expect that from demon music… it’s interesting it has a calmness to it “. after getting over the shock that he was actually trying to have a conversation with you, you answered “ yea that’s one of the reasons I enjoy it.. , it’s actually a very old instrument over three thousand years old “ you shifted closer to him bringing the kalimba in front of him showing him the different keys.

The Awesome ALA Conference!
I had an incredible experience tabling at the annual American Library Association (ALA) Conference! I was with my friends' collective Strange Deer Press at the Zine Pavilion. This was a super cool opportunity for local Chicago zinesters to sell their wares to librarians and get into the conference for free!
The ALA Conference was unlike any con or expo I've been to.
It's a major event for the library industry. Librarians from all across the country were in attendance. Major book publishers like Macmillan, Hatchette and Simon & Schuster had huge booths stuffed with books - including ARCs you could pick up for free, no questions asked! I got ARCs of books on my Kindle wishlist that won't be published until later this year, which is so freaking cool.
Major literature publishers weren't the only ones there. We saw small presses and imprints, comic giants like DC, Image and IDW, NASA and the Library of Congress, even a small artist's alley for comics and artwork (though unlike the zine pavilion, I believe there was a fee to show in the artist's alley). I'm not even including the vendors of library technologies, furniture or electronic services.
Besides booths, there were various event stages were talks were being given, author signings to line up for and even a gaming area with D&D, Magic and other board games (I joined a family and we made good progress on a puzzle). McCormick Place is a huge warren of rooms and halls. Even though the show floor was massive, I felt like we only scratched the surface of the venue's real estate.
The Zine Pavilion itself would be familiar to anyone who's shown at art shows before. There were about 15 tables, a small presentation area and a library of zines from people not at the event. Our group of five easily covered all our table with our own work, as well as free zines from the prison abolition group Study and Struggle.
Tumblr media
(I'm not great at taking pictures, so it didn't occur to me that my usual camera smile would've been hidden by my mask XD)
Lots of librarians were interested in learning about zines. I think libraries are looking for new ways to engage teen and young adult audiences, and zines are a great art form for that age group. Lee's zine their about cats was a huge hit with this crowd as well; librarians and cats seem to go together.
For this event, I made a zine called Books I Didn't Write. It's a collection of interesting-sound novel ideas that I've had over the last decade, followed by a very honest write-up of why they would've have worked. I also had two mental health zines.
It's a shame this event won't be in Chicago next year, because it was an absolute blast and comes highly recommended. Thanks so much to Violet Fox for organizing the Zine Pavilion!

Ninja Turtle prompt for your consideration. Things get a bit chaotic at the zoo when a villain gets their hands on a device that allows them to control animals. Things get MORE chaotic when it turns out that it also works on mutants. It's up to the human cast members to put a stop to this. Or whatever nonanimal yokai is feeling up to the task of heroing on the surface?
You know, this was supposed to be a goofy little one-shot. I literally cannot understand how it ended up like this XD
But hey, I enjoyed writing it! Hope you enjoy reading :D
---
In the few seconds she has to get a look at the artefact, April is stunned to see that it's a whistle.
A small, intricate, shiny whistle with engravings shaped in the familiar characters of a yokai spell, but still a whistle. A wooden one that looks and feels easily breakable in her hands right before the asshole snatches it from them, distracted as she is, and shoves her off the Bethesda Fountain.
She tumbles in the air for a hot second, weightless and breathless, before Donnie slams into her from the side, and then they're rolling along the asphalt. When they (and the world) stop spinning, Donnie leans back to look her up and down. “You good? You get the thingy?”
April takes a second to breathe. “I'm good. And no, I lost it.”
Donnie curses softly. Then he curses louder and covers her with his whole body as a tiger lopes towards them with dripping fangs. A circle of vibrant blue opens up between it and them just as it pounces, swallowing it whole before winking out of existence. Another portal opens up over the lake and drops the tiger into it with a splash.
Still pinned under Donnie, April rolls her head to where she'd last seen Leo. “Thanks!”
She can't see him, but she hears the grin in Leo's voice. “No prob. It looks like I just prevented a—”
Donnie lifts his head with a vicious scowl. “Nardo, I swear to god—”
“Catastrophe!”
“You're dead to me.”
“Guys!” Raph grunts. April pushes Donnie off her, and he pulls her to her feet by the arm. She sees the snapper wrestling a blank-eyed grizzly bear with his bare hands, arms wrapped around its neck in a lock as it bucks and thrashes, trying to take a bite out of him. “Can we—whoa!—please focus! We gotta get that stupid whistle!”
“You freaks will never reach me!” the madman crows from atop the fountain, the mystic whistle held high over his head like it's the ring of power or something. His stupid cape billows in the soft breeze over his zookeeper uniform, his plastic crown barely sitting upright on his head. “I am the Animan, the beasts of this world bend to my will! And once my army is complete, no one shall stand in my way! The age of man is over! The reign of the beasts is nigh! Mwahahaha!”
Donnie stares. “Did. Did he say 'mwahahaha'? Are you kidding me?”
April has to agree. Warren Stone has more class, and he's a worm. A freaking worm.
Admittedly, April can understand where this guy is coming from: animal cruelty is a plague, cutting as deep into the earth as deforestation and pollution, all things that April has and will forever fight for. But this is stupid. Stupid, cliché and annoying.
She should be studying for finals with Sunita. And yet here she is again, out in Central Park on a Thursday night to stop another ego-maniac with another mystic doo-dad from ruling the world. Or whatever.
She almost misses when the most exciting thing to happen in a week was visiting her mutant friends in the sewers. Almost.
“Seriously, how did this idiot get his hands on a freaking mystic whistle--?” Leo dances away from a stampeding herd of zebra and deer hell-bent on squashing him. “--from a charity shop?”
“Humans are just grounded magpies!” Mikey chimes somewhere in the trees. Last April saw him, he was running rings around a pissed-off rhino and his warthog friend. They all agreed to call him Pumba. “They love shiny things! They see a shiny, take the shiny, sell the shiny for ridiculous prices to get shinier—oh shit—!”
“Language!” Raph shouts, now riding the bear like a bull. At least he's having fun.
“No, Raph, the monkeys!” Mikey cries. “They're organized!”
April spins just in time to watch as a troop of monkeys of various species grab and toss a shrieking Mikey into the air, only to be caught by the feet of another as they swing from the lampposts and treetops, throwing him back and forth like a football.
Donnie stares. April drops her head into her hands.
Leo is in hysterics. “Oh my god. Hurry, hurry, before they take him to the singing CGI Christopher Walken—wah!” He's cut off when one of the troop snags him by the arms and tosses him into the air, flailing until he's caught by a hooting orangutang. “Hey, no no no no, get off, lemme go—guys!”
“Oh frick, hang on!” Raph hops off the bear, power smash jitsu's it into a bush—“Sorry, Yogi!”—and hurries after the screaming box and slider still being tossed about like footballs. “Don't worry, guys! Big Raphie's comin'!”
Donnie rolls his eyes heavenward. “Sigh. Alright, I'm ready for this to end.” He snaps his arm out, his bo crackling with mystic energy as the tip forms into a rocket-boosted drill, smaller than what he'd used on the Shredder but no less devastating. “Hey, Steve Irwin knock-off! Animal activism is cool and all, but some of us have places to be and finals to study for—”
“Hear hear,” April drones.
“—so why don't we call it a night, okay? I am very tired, and not above using lethal force—”
“Donnie.”
“—semi-lethal force to get that whistle away from you! Seriously, will none of you let me shine?”
The Animal man (or whatever) turns with an overly dramatic swish of his cape. “Never! I have the power to rule the animal kingdom in the palm of my hand! You will all kneel before—!”
He stops himself. He looks—really looks—at Donnie now. April can see the cogs turning behind the big dorky frames of his glasses.
Donnie stares back, marker-drawn brow raised. “Yes?”
“Are you... are you guys all turtles?”
“Uh, obviously?” Leo snaps, resigning himself to having imaginary fleas picked from non-existent fur by a gorilla that refuses to let him go, hugging the turtle to its massive chest like a teddy bear. Its biceps are bigger than Raph's head.
“Aren't you supposed to be a zookeeper?” Mikey shouts from where he's being fought over by Raph and a screeching chimpanzee in a sick game of tug-of-war.
“Yes, we are turtles,” Donnie sighs. “Four different species if you're looking for specifics, being a man of your... expertise—and I use that term loosely—for as I am a spiny soft-shell, Leon is a red-eared slider, Michel is an ornate box—”
“And the big guy is an alligator snapper?” Animan interrupts. He's dropped the showmanship, his narrowed eyes thoughtful.
April feels a coil of dread pool in her stomach for the first time tonight, and she wraps her fingers tighter around her bat.
Donnie must sense the change too. He widens his stance. “Yes. That is correct. Though I fail to see why this is at all relevant to my earlier threat of using lethal—ahem, semi-lethal force to stop your dum-dum plans so we can go home and play video games until our eyeballs melt—”
Animan holds up a hand. The monkeys drop Mikey onto Raph, and the gorilla gently deposits Leo back on the ground. The other animals cease their pointless rampaging, freezing where they stand. The unnatural stillness, the blank whites of their eyes staring into nothing, sends a chill down April's spine.
Okay, she thinks as she shuffles closer to Donnie. Now I'm freaked out.
And then Animan smiles. “I do wonder...” he says slowly, eyes locked on Donnie. He lifts the whistle to his lips and blows.
April winces as a high-pitched, tinny sound echoes across the park, much sharper and louder than the previous times he's used it. She covers her ears. “Damn! Cut that out, you're gonna liquefy my brain!” Gritting her teeth, she turns to Donnie. “Donnie, can you please just—!”
She freezes. Donnie's bo clatters to the ground, useless and forgotten, as he falls to his knees, clutching and all but clawing at his head, hissing and spitting and crying out in agony—
“Donnie!”
She reaches out, then hesitates. This isn't a meltdown—she knows the signs, and for all that it looks like one, this isn't it. No, he's in pain, bashing his fist against his skull like he's fighting something rooting around in there, trying to force it out, and he's growling now, bent forward and scraping at his face—
Then Leo screams.
April whips around. Leo is on his knees, too, hands flapping before he follows suit and pulls at his face, mask tails, the base of his skull. Raph is on his back, teeth gnashing at nothing in distress through his cries, hands pressed against where his ears should be. Mikey is fully sobbing, hands over his eyes as he bashes his head against the asphalt and wails. “Stop it! Stop it stop it stop it make it stop—!”
Rage boils like molten lava in April's chest. She spins to glare at the bastard still blowing into his whistle, a gleam in his eyes that's smug and nasty.
She's going to rip it off his face.
Bat glowing, mystic energy thrumming through her in familiar waves, April lets out a cry as she charges, arm pulled back—
A solid wall of flesh and bone blocks her swing, the bat bouncing off and nearly braining her in the face instead.
The whistling has stopped. So has the screaming.
Something breathes heavily above her. Slowly, April looks up.
Raph's blank eyes stare back.
No.
“... Raph?” she tries. “Raph. Can you hear me?”
Snaggle-tooth peeking from a peeled-back snout, a deep growl rumbles from Raph's chest, loud enough that it rattles her bones. It's not the comforting sound she's used to hearing in mounds of blankets, stuffed animals and pillows. It's a warning. A threat.
No, please.
He takes a lumbering step forward. And April, nerves alight with a fear she's never felt—not for him, never ever for him—takes two steps back.
God, not again.
“Raph, Raphie, it's me,” April pleads. She looks up (and up) into his eyes and sees nothing, no recognition, none of what makes Raph Raph.
And his size had never been an issue before—she's known him since he was ten and the size of an average thirteen-year-old human. Watching her little brother outgrow her had filled her with pride, adoration and sparks of jealousy. It's only hitting her now why most thugs piss themselves at the sight of him. He's huge, and when he snaps his jaws inches from her face, stomping closer, he's—he's—
Something hisses behind her. It's her only warning.
She leaps out of the way, a reflex instilled in her through years of living around ninjas, as Donnie's jaws snap shut where her head had been.
She should've known better—she does know better—than to ever turn her back on Donnie. But even then, he's only playing.
There's no playfulness in how Donnie spins on her and spits out another gurgling hiss, teeth bared, body hunched low like a prowling raptor. His eyes are as blank as his big brothers'. He has his bo again, the weapon pulsing purple to the beat of his heart, always in tune with him even when he's not... there.
“Dee?” she whispers. Donnie hisses back.
Another hiss and a chirp. April is ready this time.
She cartwheels out of the way of Leo's swiping claws and backflips over Mikey right as he leaps for her. He goes flying into Raph's chest instead, and the snapper barely budges. He doesn't even look at Mikey. None of them looks anywhere but at April.
Leo's claws flutter, panting hisses through his teeth. Mikey scrambles on all fours, crouching as if rearing for another pounce. Donnie snaps his jaws again in her direction. Raph is still growling.
April stares at her brothers. She hears the real, maniacal laughter of a power-hungry idiot with said power at his fingertips, and thinks, shit.
“I knew this magic whistle was powerful,” the man muses, idly fiddling with the glowing instrument between his fingers as he grins at April. “But I had no idea it'd extend to mutants. This is honestly awesome.”
April takes a page from Raph's book and growls. “What. Did you do. To my boys.”
The bastard has the gall to smirk. “I freed them,” he says. “They walk, talk and parade about the city pretending to be human. They've forgotten their roots, their true place in the natural world.” He throws his hands up and cackles. “I have reminded them what they really are! I have freed them from society's chains! They are no more than the beasts they pretend they aren't inside and out! And I will do the same to any and all mutants that cross my path! I will save them all! And together, we will rid this world of humanity once and for all!”
The animals lift their heads as one and shriek, hoot, screech and roar with his laughter. The turtles throw their heads back and roar with them. It's a haunting sound she didn't know they could make.
Double shit, April thinks.
Then Animan points the whistle at her. “Let's start with you.”
The turtles slowly turn in unison to face April.
To inshititty and beyond.
And the thing is, April is scrappy. She's won plenty of fights. She beat a legion of girl scouts trained by Cassandra and helped take down the Shredder and a Krang. She's no master by any means, but she's good.
Here, she doesn't think twice. April turns and runs.
The boys—her boys, her little brothers in every way but blood—run after her.
They launch themselves at her with reckless, violent abandon like a pack of dogs, hissing and spitting, growling and biting the air as they circle her or try to back her into corners or the edge of the terrace. She barely dodges them, barely avoids their gnashing teeth and swiping claws.
There's no form or grace in their attacks, no thought beyond the one being fed to them: Kill.
They're not trying to fight her. They simply want her dead.
April has never been scared of the turtles, not even when she first came across them by accident all those years ago. Most can't see past their whole situation, but April did, and she does. This isn't them, they would never.
But there's nothing behind their eyes. Nothing that makes them more than the creatures the rest of the world would see. And to them, she isn't their best friend and sister.
She is their enemy. She is prey. She is food.
Aril has never feared them. But Leo's claw draws blood from her cheek, and for the first time in her life, she's terrified.
But more than that, she's shaking with fury, red in the corners of her eyes. She's already lived this nightmare, already had to look at the warped face of her little brother right before he sent her flying with a punch that cracked her ribs, already had to soothe him as he wept apologies into her chest in the aftermath. She can't live it again.
She has to get that whistle and break it, preferably against Animan's skull. But the boys won't let her get close unless they're dragging her carcass to him. She needs backup.
She can't call Splinter, and the Caseys are out doing mother-son bonding activities (knowing Cassandra, it's probably violent). Who else do they have that isn't a mutant or an animal yokai—?
Oh. Oh hell no.
April groans to herself. She would rather drink acid or step on a Lego. Barefoot. Anything but him.
But the boys won't stop. They're fighting it, she knows they are—it's the little moments of hesitation, a blink and a hint of colour in their eyes before the whistle pierces the air and pulls them back under, in the stray tear that drips down Mikey's cheek when he throws her against the tree. They're fighting. Her boys are in there. But they can't break it alone. April can't break it alone. Animan won't stop until they tear her apart, and even then, the rest of New York—the Hidden City, the world—will be at his mercy.
In hindsight, maybe they should've taken this a little more seriously. Preferably before the guy found out he could control mutants, too.
She needs help. But god she's going to hate every second of it.
She scrambles up the tree Mikey had thrown her into and hides in the branches—it'll give her cover for now, assuming the boys have forgotten how to climb. She whips out her phone with shaking fingers and dials the one number she never thought she'd ring, holding the phone to her ear and quieting her breaths.
After a tense thirty seconds, it connects. “Hello? Who is this?”
April swallows her pride. It's for her boys.
“Baxter, it's April O'Neil. I need your help.”
~0o0~
To his credit, Baxter's Mousers work wonders as a distraction.
Cackling like the mad scientist he wishes he could be, Baxter sends wave after wave of Mouser bots after the rampaging animals. April was adamant over the phone that no harm was to come to the animals or the turtles—“And no, you are not taking a tiger home with you, I swear to god!”—but it's more than enough to send them into a frenzy. Not even Animan can control it, no matter how much he screeches and blows into his whistle. If anything, it only agitates them more.
It's too chaotic for April to get close enough to snatch the whistle without getting trampled on the ground, so April follows the monkey's lead and hops across the treetops. It's actually fun.
“Keep 'em busy, Stockboy!” she calls into the comms over the racket. The quality is rusty, nothing like the polished Genius Built, but it's pretty damn close. “I'm goin' in!”
“Rodger that! And don't forget your promise!”
April rolls her eyes. Her heart ached to give up her Switch and lose all her progress on Persona 5 Royal—woe to the un-romanceable Yusuke—but Donnie has wanted to make her an upgrade for ages. And he will, once she gets him back. She'll get them all back. “Yeah, yeah, whatever. I got eyes on the freak. You see the boys?”
“Not yet, can't make them out in the chaos. Maybe they've taken cover for now.”
That's... a concern. Feral or not, they're still ninjas. Their disappearance makes her nervous, but she's so close. The whistle is right there. If she's quick, she can grab it before the boys grab her.
She takes a breath. “Okay. I'm goin' in. Cover me!”
“That's a copy! Kick his ass!”
(The little twerp is growing on her. Maybe he's just playing nice with the promise of a free Switch, but hey, at least he's behaving.)
Letting out a Tarzan yell, April leaps off the last branch and collides with Animan. They roll across the dirt in a tangle of limbs, and April scrambles to grab the whistle. The maniac hisses and struggles against her. Like, actually hisses.
“Give me,” April snarls as she pulls him into a lock Splinter would be proud of, “the goddamn whistle!”
“N-Never! The world will tremble before—ow! Quit squeezing you mean little thing—!”
“Let my family and these animals go, and I won't bite your freakin' head off!”
“Family?” He bucks her off, smashing his forehead against her nose and sending her sprawling, blood spraying. Massaging his throat, her leers at her. “You think those monsters are your family? And you call me crazy! They're turtles, mutants! Humanity shuns them as easily as they abuse god's little creatures. But I can give them a place to belong! I can rule them, and in turn, we'll rule this planet! We—”
“Shut. Up.”
Wiping her nose with her sleeve—she can clean the bloodstains out later—April glares through streaming tears of pain.
“They're more than animals,” she snarls. “They're not monsters. They're more human than anyone I've ever met! They're worth a billion of you, and for all the bullshit and hate they get just for existing, they don't go 'round rantin' about changing the world or rulin' the world or whatever. They haven't 'forgotten their place' in the world, they made their own, and I'm honoured to be a part of it! They don't need another power-hungry asshole tellin' them what they can or can't be, and I don't need some trashy, wannabe supervillain tellin' me where I can or can't belong! That's our choice! And you certainly do get to use ad abuse 'god's creatures' for your agenda! None of them asked for a ruler, they don't need one! If anything, what you're doin' is worse! Also, can we talk about the genocide of the entire human race?! What is wrong with you?!”
She gets to her feet, blinks away the tears and bares her teeth. “I'm not about to let you use my little brothers to kill innocent people or let you live your stupid-ass fantasy! I'm tired, I'm pissed, and I need you to give me the freakin' whistle and let my family go before I break your goddamn teeth!”
Animan stares at her, wide-eyed. April glares back, chest heaving, eyes burning. On the comms, Baxter is silent.
April hadn't planned on expressing any heartfelt truths tonight, but hey. It's been a night.
Animan smiles. “Little brothers, eh?”
“April, turtle at three o'clock!”
Baxter's warning comes a beat too late. April turns, but Leo is on her with a shriek of primal rage.
Shit!
He slams her into the dirt, and stars dance across her vision. His claws pierce her arms where he's pinning them to the grass, spots of blood soaking through her jacket. She bites her lip against a cry, turning her head away as his jaws snap at her nose. His blank eyes bore into her, cold and lifeless. He doesn't lunge for her. Not yet.
“Leo,” April whispers. “Baby, please, you gotta fight this—”
“He's mine now.” Animan stumbles to his feet. Behind him, Donnie, Raph and Mikey emerge from the shadows. “Preach about 'family' and 'embracing their differences' all you want, but they still fell under the mystic spell. They'll always be beasts at their core. Nothing you do or say will change that.”
Leo hisses above her, fangs glistening. April sees herself in his eyes, pale and frightened beneath him.
A part of her prays he's not conscious behind the walls of the spell. He doesn't need to see this.
She swallows the lump in her throat. “Oh, Blue...”
Animan chuckles, bringing the whistle to his lips. “Farewell.”
The whistle cuts through the air. Leo opens his jaws wide and lunges.
April shuts her eyes and screams—
“I'll take that!”
“H-Hey what the—?!”
The whistling stops. Silence falls.
April dares to open her eyes. Leo's own wide blues stare back.
“... April?”
April blinks once, twice. “... Leo? Are you... back?”
“Think so.” He leans back, carefully retracting his claws from her arms. He looks down at his fingers, stained bloody red, and pales. “Oh. Oh my god—“
He scrambles off her, away from her, and vomits into a bush. April can only watch as she sits up slowly, still trembling, arms stinging and twitching beneath her.
“What the hell...?”
“What happened? Where are we?”
“April...?”
April looks over her shoulder.
Raph rubs his head, swaying on his feet and blinking rapidly. Mikey is sitting in the grass, looking around. Donnie is on his knees looking right at her, a horror in his eyes she hasn't seen since Raph was taken over by the Krang. He looks seconds away from following Leo's lead and hurling into a bush.
The breath leaves her lungs in a rush that renders her boneless. They're back. They're back.
“But, how...?”
“I told you,” Baxter's voice in her ear startles her, “I got your back.”
She looks past the boys. In a scene oddly reminiscent of the Lost World, Animan struggles against a small army of Mousers jumping and biting at him, keeping him pinned to the floor. He screams bloody murder as he fights to fling them off. A lone Mouser approaches April with the whistle held carefully in its mouth. Numbly, April puts her hand out, and the little robot drops the artefact into her palm before hopping away.
“I figured you could send the animals back to the zoo using that. You can destroy it afterwards, just in case some other crazy guy decides to go Planet of the Apes on our butts again. You're welcome!”
April stares at the whistle. Another lump, too big to swallow, forms in her throat as her fingers close around the mystic artefact. “Baxter,” she says thickly, “thank you.”
A short, startled silence crackles on the other end of the comm. “... you're welcome,” Baxter says again, less smug. Then he clears his throat. “Just—don't forget about the Switch, okay? I expect it delivered to the listed address as soon as—”
“Kid,” April says with a watery laugh, “if I had the money, I'd buy you a new one. I owe you that much. Now get going before your parents ground your ass for sneaking out to fight crime. I've got it from here.”
Baxter wordlessly recalls his Mousers, all stampeding back to wherever his master is hiding, leaving Animan panting and staring wide-eyed at the sky, freshly traumatized. How a ten-year-old builds this many robots and keeps them a secret from his folks, April will never know.
“And, um, for the record?” Baxter adds awkwardly, “you... you and the turtles seem like a pretty cool family. Despite how annoying you are.”
April smirks. “Bet we are.”
With that, the connection cuts off. April tosses the comm away, stuffs the whistle in her pocket and rushes to her boys.
They've shaken off the last of the whistles' effects and have formed a circle around a shivering Leo. When April approaches, they jump, startled, and to April's horror, they shuffle away from her. Mikey and Raph have tears in their eyes. Leo hugs himself and stares at the grass. Donnie covers his head with his arms and rocks back and forth.
“... April,” Raph croaks. The poor boy looks wrecked. April can only imagine what he's feeling, taken over and forced to fight his family again. “April, I—we're—we're so sorry, we—are you okay? Did we hurt you, did we—d-did I—?”
Nope, no, absolutely not.
She doesn't let him finish, stomping the distance between them. They flinch again, but they don't go far as April lifts her sore arms to gently cup Raph's face between her palms. He stiffens under her touch, gaping. April looks deep into his eyes—bright and alive, as they should be and always have been—and pours every ounce of love into her smile.
“It's okay, Big Guy.” She caresses his damp cheeks with her thumbs. “You're okay. I'm okay. It'll be alright now. It's over.”
Raph's face crumples. His giant hands grab her wrists—careful, always so careful—as he leans in fully against her, bumping their foreheads.
“But—but we nearly killed you.” Leo's quiet whimper draws her eyes back to the younger three still huddled on the grass. Leo's still pale, still shaking, blood-tipped fingers twitching and flapping in distress as his breathing picks up. “I—I almost killed you, April! I hurt you, I—oh my god, I tried to eat you—!”
“Shh, no, no baby, you didn't,” April lets Raph go and drops to her knees to pull Leo in for a crushing embrace. He goes limp against her and shudders against a sob. “You didn't. It was the whistle and that asshole who made you do it.” She draws back enough to take Leo's chin in her palm and bring his head up to meet her eyes. “What did we say to Raph all those weeks ago? It wasn't him. Not then, and certainly not now. I know you boys. You would never hurt me. You would never.”
She looks at all of them. Donnie has stopped rocking, lifting his face from his knees to look at her. Her eyes stinging again, she beams at them. “I dunno if you heard my incredibly emotional speech from earlier, but I meant every word. You're not monsters. You're my boys. We're a family, no matter what. Ain't nobody can tell us otherwise, and there ain't nothin' in this world that can keep me from loving the hell out of you.”
It takes a second longer than she'd like, but sure enough, they launch themselves at her for the hundredth time tonight, this time to squeeze the life out of her in a crushing turtle group hug. Even Donnie gets in on it, nuzzling his snout into her tangled hair. She giggles through her wheezing, nosing Mikey's cheek until he's giggling, too. Leo chirps against her chest. Behind her, Raph lets out a soothing rumble.
There, in the centre of her bale, the family she found and made space just for her, she feels safe.
Then Animan groans behind them.
She feels the turtles twitch, their heads whipping to stare at him as he tries to find his feet, dazed and confused. He freezes when he meets their gazes.
The turtles narrow their eyes.
Animan sweats. “... um... shall we let bygones be bygones?”
Raph growls. Leo hisses.
April, however, grins. “Hey, Donnie,” she says casually, craning her neck to look up at the soft shell—they haven't let go of her yet. “Remember what I said about non-lethal parameters?”
Animan sweats harder.
“Forget 'em. Go rip his spleen outta his ass. I'll round up the animals.”
Donnie grins like the Grinch on his way to steal Christmas. “Nothing would make me happier, dear Apricot. However, I believe my brothers also have a bone to pick with this good fellow. What say you, brethren?”
Animan slips on the grass, soaked with his sweat, to get to his feet.
Raph and Leo beam. “Oh, absolutely,” Raph chuckles as they all rise to their feet, letting April go.
“There are two hundred and six bones in the average human body. Why stop at one?” Leo adds, rolling his shoulders. “In fact, why not double them.”
April's pretty sure Animan just pissed himself.
“Aw, don't worry, Mr Animan! Dr Delicate Touch makes house calls!” Mikey chimes.
April turns just as the turtles lunge. She doesn't look back as she gathers up the confused animals wandering the park with a soft blow of the whistle, not even when Animan starts screaming bloody murder.
“Mercy!”
“Nope! You nearly made me eat our big sister!”
“Where the hell do you think you're—get yer pasty ass back here—”
“Dr Delicate Touch ain't done with you yet, I gotta reset your arm—!”
“Sit still! I have to beat you 'til you have a birth of cactuses outta your asshole!”
“That's physically impossible!”
“Ooh, then guess what!”
“Help me!”
April grins around the whistle and leads the animals back to the zoo. Her wild little brothers can wait a bit longer.

Human!Mr Snake x Reader || Drabble
Tumblr media
I am just super excited about this movie at the moment so wanted to make something! Probably more to ensue, haha XD Obsessed with the idea of a Femme Fatale reader being part of the group.
Plot: A drabble inspired by the Gilmore Girls prompt, 'I just wanted to know what it would be like'. Basically you have a big ass crush on Snake and it finally bubbles over.
Warnings: One F bomb, but I think that's it. Not gonna write anything racy for the Bad Guys for a good minute, I assure you XD Also age gap if you squint, tho.
🔆🔆🔆
The gang were all running on their usual high from our most recent heist- including yourself. But while the rest were in loud, excited moods, rough housing and talking quickly about what everyone did well - how Webbs managed to disarm the Wsstp without anyone getting singed or sliced, how Mr Shark’s Little Boy costume went over without a hitch, how Mr Piranha actually got the grappling hook to work the way to was intended this time, - , you were in a more… quiet, giddy mood. There’s something on your mind. Something that’s been on your mind for a while, in fact, that you’re just now thinking maybe… you could do. You could consider.
You could try.
When you realise that you had stared at Mr Snake for a moment more then you would usually allow, you take in a sudden, sharp breath, and turn your back on the group; Back to your drink and reality.
See, you’ve had feelings for the cranky jerk for a while, now. And you thought you could just wait it out. It was just supposed to be a passing thing, because you like the way he cracks safes, you think it’s hot- but that’s all! You were sure it would go away in a week or two. Absolutely sure.
But it’s been more like… 11 months… And 'just the way he cracks safes', turned into the way he talks, the way he’s obsessed with guinea pigs, the way he cares about Wolf, the way he teases- and a whole amalgamation of other things that are just constantly torturing you and you don’t know how long you can keep it in.
You’re reaching your boiling point and either you tell him, or you explode.
And that’s where your own heist-high comes in. You’re thinking you might… but even you, an infamous criminal, are too chicken shit. Hell!-
"What are you doing?" You're just moving to hide your face in your hands, when someone appears in the seat next to you and you jump- that blunt voice more than familiar. Looking like a deer in headlights, your big, wide eyes finding Snakes as he looks at you expectantly- waiting for a response. You didn't say any thoughts out loud, did you? Like in the books???
Finally, when the world doesn't implode and the ground doesn't open up under you, you sigh out your mini heart attack and look forward, shoulders dropping. "Don't sneak up on people when they're lost in thought... "
"Oh?" Its clear as soon as he speaks, his tone jumping high in intrigue, that you said the absolute wrong thing. Turning your head to see the cruel curiosity on Snakes face, you cant help but think... shit. "What were ya so lost in thought about?"
"Secret stuff," You reply airily, coolly- hoping beyond hoping, that he loses interest in poking around your business. "Boring stuff- you wouldn't be interested in it."
"Well, why don't you let me decide on that?" He pushes, leaning across the space between your chairs to make you uncomfortable. Jokes on him, though, you guess. Jaw falling, he hisses out the next part; A guess. A guess that you're pretty secure in hearing, as a guess from Snake will never be that you like him. His mind just doesn't work like that. "Are you the one that tripped the bidet on Wolf?! That was hilarious!"
Fighting a grin, you shake your head at him. "No." Though you wish you were. That was hilarious. "Now stop guessing- its none of your business."
"Which is my favourite kind of business," Drat. Visibly, you droop. "Come on! You can tell me, kid!" Kid- of, if you could droop further, you would. Is your existence just one big, cosmic joke here? Ha Ha Ha... Its not funny. "Aren't I trustworthy?... "
You turn to look at him again in a deadpanned kind of way, finding an evil grin stretched across sharp teeth. "Oh, let me think... "
Honestly though, you would trust Snake with your life. He acts like he hates everyone but he's really a huge softy and that's one of the things you love about him.
"Okay let me guess again. Hold on." He thinks for a moment, eyes crawling up in a very thoughtful expression that makes you grin before he goes AH, and looks back to you once more- and you look away. "Didya break Webbs' USB last week?"
"No."
"How about Shark's fake nose?"
"Mm, nope."
"Were you the one that ate the last push pop yesterday??"
At that, an honestly guilty look crosses your face as you peak at him. "Well... I did do that... " You admit, making his jaw drop, abject betrayal written all over his face. "It was delicious, but that's still not what you're looking for."
Flashing you a glare, Snake goes on. "O-kay... wait were you the one that helped Piranha pull off that ping pong ball prank the other da- "
Ugh! He's relentless!
You knew this before, obviously, but it is becoming frustrating at this moment- and before you could think of all the reasons that this was a bad idea- you've kissed him.
Quite literally- reached over, lost your fingers in dark hair and brought your mouth to his. He freezes for half a second, not even long enough for you to realise your mistake and let go, before long, thin fingers hesitantly find your waist.
He kisses you back just as hesitantly for a moment, before you pull right back... realising what you've done. "Ohmygod I'msosorry!!" You should not have done that. You should not have done that. His eyes are wide and surprised, looking at you, looking as if he wants to say something as he opens his mouth, but cant quite string together the words.
So, taking a deep breath, you go ahead and talk instead. "Well... that's, kind of what I was thinking about... have been for a while, actually... Everyone knows, except you... Well you do now, but- " You avert your gaze in embarrassment from the seasoned criminal's, then. Feeling more like a blushy little anime girl rather then an established criminal, yourself. "I, uh... I just... wanted to know, you know- what it would be like."
Your gaze slips up, finding him again- he's opening his mouth again as if to speak, but no words come out for a good moment; Shock written all over his face.
... Okay.
Maybe that's better, him not saying anything. Yes. Taking a deep breath, you get up from your chair - Snake only now taking his hands off you, - and give an awkward waive. "Well bye!"
Then you flee.
And Snake is there looking more then frustrated with himself, wondering how that could have gone so wrong, silently asking his voice box what the hell happened there... But eventually, all he can do, is curse.
"Fuck."
~
Later that night, you're lying on top of the covers on your bed, not even in your pyjamas yet and nowhere near sleepy, staring at the ceiling and just listening to your heartbeat in your ears still.
You've royally messed things up.
Suddenly theirs a knock at your door, and your heart turns freezing cold inside your chest. Who is that?
Slowly, cautiously sitting up on your bed and walking across the room, you dread finding out what's on the other side- but that feeling has nothing on the blind panic that strikes through you when you open the door and find Snake standing there.
You immediately open your mouth to say something, anything, but he beats you to it this time- which is good, because you had nothing.
"Look, I'm sorry." He starts quickly, apparently full of adrenaline. Your eyes blow open wide at the last word- sorry. Since when does Snake say the word 'sorry'?! "I wanted to say something, but I- I don't know, man, my mouth wouldn't work. Something about you being too young, or how you could do much better- then- " He seems to be working himself up, but quickly shuts it down. "But it doesn't matter. I like you- and- ... And that wasn't a good sample."
Only just trying to take in all that information at once, you don't understand that last part at first. He likes you!?!? He thinks yo could do better, then him??? "... What?"
A slow, evil smirk spreads across his mouth, and he shakes his head. "You said you wanted to know what it'd be like- that wasn't it."
"... Oh... and..?" Still clueless, you blink those big confused eyes at him and it drives him mad.
A gasp topples too easily out of you as Snakes hands slither back around your waist and you let him guide you carefully against the wall by your bedroom door- finding that he ends up far closer to you then before, a breath between you both when your shoulders relax back against the new surface. Your eyes are still wide, but you're not confused anymore- you're shocked. Is this really happening? What is this?
Still, your hands travel carefully up his arms to his shoulders, chewing on your bottom lip in unsureness; In cautiousness. "That wasn't it... "
Then, before you can respond with something stupid, he gathers you against him and kisses you again.
And you're just glad there's a wall behind you because otherwise you would've lost footing.

SCP Scenarios: When they accidentally kill you
Requested by: okokok121 + @RitaRoseFromBBB
Main Masterlist | SCP Scenarios Masterlist | My Works Masterlist | Rules | Request | Socials | My Original Post
(Ok, I know you did ask for the doctors + Mikell and Strelnikov, but I've decided to add the SCPs in here if that's alright with you. And also, sorry if I didn't capture Strelnikov's attitude well as I'm not as familiar with him compared to Mikell, yet again I'm not familiar with Jack Bright's family other than TJ and 321)
Sorry if it wasn't up to your standards. I just felt that some of these characters weren't the type to kill the reader, even if it wasn't intentional.
WARNING: Slight Angst
Dr Simon Glass
Simon wouldn't be the one to accidentally kill you himself, but it's more of the situation he put you in without realising the full extent of the consequences. He was just busy writing his patients' reports, and you just strolled in his office to check upon him. Simon stopped what he was doing and smiled with you as you both ate your food in his ever so clean office. As you were about to leave, Glass requested you to deliver something to Jack Bright in which you did. You and Jack were close friends (not so surprising since you're both equally as mad as each other) so if Simon wanted to know where he is or if he needed to give him something, he would go to you first. You managed to deliver the parcel to Bright in 682's containment cell and you both laughed before you returned. Unfortunately, 682 was having a rough day due to being a subject to Bright's test (I would be too tbh) which caused him to become more aggressive than usual and attacked 3 researchers. One of them being you as 682 dragged you down to the acid bath with him and Jack rushed to save you. Bright wasn't able to and he had to fulfil;l his duty to tell Simon Glass that you passed as 682 had killed you during a test. Needless to say, Glass was forced to take time off with Bright due to this event and he became more distant for months to come. Bright had to keep it together just so Simon wouldn't have to lose the shred of sanity he had in him.
Dr Jack Bright
You and Bright were doing some tests on one of the more dangerous SCPs (no, it's not that giant mf lizard of that warrior killing machine) in which your job was to handle these creatures while Jack was doing all the lab stuff. The SCP you both were conducting your research on was ●●|●●●●●|●●|● (SCP 2521 - We're getting ripped tonight, RIP my friends) and you were doing all sorts of things which resulted in you summoning this creature out of the blue by accident. Bright had to drag you out away from the creature and you just stood there observing its behaviour until it noticed you. Jack Bright had to take you on the run yet again (cuz you do be stoopid and stubborn so all yall wanna do is stare at something that's gonna kill ya. JUST RUN BIATCH!!!) but the SCP managed to catch up with you both and snatched you before Bright could even get help. Jack was astonished and deeply depressed since the incident and was left increasingly agitated after every walking day and even Glass couldn't get him out of his shell. He would pretend that everything's fine, but deep down, everyone knows that he's not (that's a whole ass mood right there buddy). Bright was extremely guilty for making you research 2521 and tried to summon it again, but all other scientists stopped it.
Dr Alto Clef
Clef was just doing his job, managing all the Keter class SCPs with ease and without hesitation. You know this from first-hand experience on your very first day on the job 3 years ago and Clef took an interest in you so he took you under his wing. So on this mission, he's on, he wanted to take you with him so you went along (not like you'd say no to this madman anyways right?). It was a breach on one of the sites with a sh- ton of Keter class SCPs and your jobs were to exterminate/neutralise them and save all the other researchers in which your team did do well and were still alive. You on the other hand were killed in action by SCP 939 (NOW WHICH ONE OF YOU IDIOTS RELEASED MY PETS WITHOUT MY PERMISSION?!). Clef wasn't able to save you on time, but he managed to kill 2 of those SCPs. When he got back, he hid in his office and was depressed for 23.3 weeks and when he managed to drag himself out, he was bawling his eyes out. He deeply regretted taking you on a mission with him and swore an oath that if he were to ever take another person under his wing (probs in like 50 years), he would do anything in his power to not take them on a life-threatening mission.
Dr Benjamin Kondraki
You were out with Kondraki, just laying on the grass like you normally do as you just watched Kondraki take photographs of various and random stuff. Not long later, you asked him if he could teach you how to become such an avid photographer like him, so he did. However, little did you and Kondraki know that his butterfly friends felt danger lurking around the area you were in and quickly transformed into a threatening SCP to defend you both. Lurking around the woods were uncontained 939s running loose on the ground in which the booterflies attacked it. One of the red lizards was ready to pounce onto Kondraki to which you ran and pushed him out of the way (BAD DOGGO ))),:<). Luckily he was unharmed, but you, on the other hand, was heavily injured so Kondraki rushed you back to the foundation's medic. You died there shortly after and Kondraki blamed himself for getting you hurt on a harmless visit to the woods for some photographs. Bright and Clef begged Glass to do some psychological evaluation on Kondraki despite him telling them that he needs some time alone before he could do such things.
O5 Council Mikell Bright
When you're with Mikell, he would be his true self, being honest and relaxed since you're his most trusted partner. Moreover, he would tell you everything about what the O5 Council has been doing and their top secrets and you would always keep your lips sealed. The other members are wary of this at first but soon warm up to you since you're one of the most trusted individuals. Being with the cowboy is quite entertaining and you'll be quite protected being with him, so most of the time, you get free reign over the foundation, however, you still had to obey the rules as you weren't exactly a member of the O5 council and that would also help you from making people think you're sus for being treated so differently. That day was one of the days where your freedom got the better of you as you were on a mission with Mikell and he was about to aim at the target until you pushed him out of the way from danger. He quickly gained his composure and tried to shoot the anomaly behind you which he missed and shot you instead. Mikell was in shock and tried to get the medics, but by the time they arrived, you've already passed. Jack had to check up on his brother regularly to see how he's doing and to make sure he doesn't fall off the edge, reminding him that you wouldn't want to see him this way.
Agent Dmitri Arkadeyevich Strelnikov
As an agent, Strelnikov's life and his closest friends and relatives would be on the line. He wouldn't know when, where or how he would die and is in constant fear of losing everyone around him, especially you. One time, he took you on a mission with him since you were trained under him and he felt that you were ready to go onto your first-ever mission (well too bad, it's your last mission since y'all just suck at your jobs and this poor man has to drag you up from hell and y'all just fall back in) and so you guys went and attempted to gain information and track down some SCPs. Dmitri had to save you a few times since you didn't heed his advice and looked behind your back and that one time he left you on your own, you were murdered by a ruthless group from one of the GOIs. This, of course, deeply saddened agent Strelnikov as he was washed away by the guilt he had from leaving you to stand by your own 2 feet. You were a bright and gentle person who always looked up to him, always eager to learn and never want to fail him. These traits are what drew you to him and he was hoping to have you on his team permanently, however, that dream was long gone (just like your non-existent brain cells trying to keep your life together so y'all don't do stupid things) as you were snatched away from him in an instant. He wrote the report once he went back to the foundation and locked himself up for so long the doctors had to get him out (like your guardians whenever you don't wake up in the mornings).
Extras:
SCP 073 (Cain)
You and Cain were strolling around site 17 until a containment breach happened. Cain had to drag you by your arm since you froze (like a deer in headlights XD) and didn't react to anything since you were afraid. Luckily you did manage to get your senses back together and ran with him. Not long later, a Keter class SCP came charging at you and in a panic, Cain pushed you aside without a glance which caused another SCP to kill you since you were blocking the way. He looked over to you to see that you were wounded, lifted you up, and found a medic. Cain blamed himself for not looking carefully and had he done that, you wouldn't be dying. By the time the medic and you both arrived, you were already at the brink of death and when 343 finally arrived, you were long gone. 343 had to calm 073 down from trying to seek revenge once again but he can't due to the overwhelming guilt he had on him. 343 managed to ease his mind a bit which caused him to blackout. The researchers had to put him under their watchlist to make sure he doesn't do anything stupid (like you when you're studying for your important exams).
SCP 076 (Abel)
It was a normal day for you and Abel to hang around until this one mf guard angered Abel to which caused a containment breach. He went on a rampage (you do be here like Hercules! Hercules! XD) in which you had to try and calm him down. By the time you went to the main part of the facility, you saw many of the D-classes and researchers beheaded (like the previous queens in- never mind). When you had found Abel attempting to slaughter a guy, you jumped in front of the victim and by the time Abel realised that you were there, his sword cut you open in half (KO! 10 points to Gryffindor). He was overwhelmed with guilt and anxiety about him killing you by accident and returned to his box as demanded by the MTF members. The scientists noticed a change in Abel's behaviour and never questioned it. Those who knew what had happened never mentioned it in fear of another breach and left him be.
SCP 999 (Tickle Monster)
It was an ideal Saturday night at the foundation. You and our adorable 999 was wandering around the facility minding your own business until some madman came charging into the foundation. The alarm for the breach went on and everyone was confused since there weren't any dangerous SCPs on the loose. As it turns out, it was an intruder from one of the other GOIs trying to kidnap some of the SCPs. You and 999 just so happened to be in the exact same spot as the intruder and was holding a weapon of some sort. Realising what's happening, 999 pushed you out of the way just as the intruder fired her weapon which missed you both. One of the agents caught up with both of you and tried to shoot the intruder but ended up shooting you just as you got up which killed you. 999 never greeted any visitors in his cell ever again for quite some time and the researchers attempted to bribe him but failed.
SCP 682 (Hard to Destroy Reptile)
You were requested to take part in a test with 682 and another Keter class SCP in a test room and your job was to make sure 682 weren't allowed to lash out at the researchers because of this test. However, this certain Keter class SCP has decided that it wants to attack you in which 682 shoved you aside to protect you. The researchers ran in to save you but the other SCP managed to pounce on you and suffocated you to the brink of death. 682 was about to take a chonki bite out of that SCP but instead, he bit you instead, killing you instantly. He regretted every decision he has ever made and never attacked the foundation staff for months.
SCP 049 (Plague Doctor)
This doctor was just minding his own business until some dumbass researchers rushed into his room like some fanboys trying to get their noona's signatures. 049 was entertained by this remark but was soon agitated as they disturbed his work and wouldn't leave him alone. So, 049 used his lethal touch on some of the researchers as the rest ran. Luckily, they ran into you, so you managed to calm down the angri bird doctor. Unfortunately, that didn't go as planned as he had mistaken you as one of the other fanboys and stabbed you right into your heart. As soon as he had realised what he's done, he rushed you into his cell and performed surgery on you. Mid-surgery, he soon realised that you were losing too much blood and died right then and there. He mourned for quite some time as the other researchers were severely punished as it had led to your death which could've been avoided.
SCP 035 (Possessive Mask)
Like the other SCPs mentioned in the list, there was a test that resulted in your death. 035 was instructed to change to another human as the black goo was secreted from the mask and so he obeyed as you were slouching by the corner of the test room. Except for this time, it is being worn by a taller and more muscular man who was a wanted man due to his former job as a mercenary. As the researchers watched intently, the mask soon felt slightly overpowered but was resolved quickly due to his evergrowing abilities and experience in possessing those who come near it or is wearing the mask. The mask spoke of the discomfort of being overpowered to which the researchers took note of this statement and watched. You were somewhat concerned to you went closer to your beloved partner to check up on him. However, upon coming closer to 035, he switched his usual persona to the man wearing it, becoming more aggressive and unable to control this body, killing the first person he sees, which was you. This stunned the researchers as the guards tried to pry him off you. When they managed to get him off, you were no longer breathing. In the next interview with 035, he displayed extreme guilt and sadness of his inability to possess the man well enough to control him fully and made a request for him to be left alone for a while.
SCP 096 (Shy Guy)
You both met up during the breach a few steps away from 096's cell. He was wandering around to find you while covering his elongated face. All the other researchers were outside trying their best to stay calm and deal with this massive breach until they just saw 096 walking about looking for someone. It instantly clicked in their mind and offered to look for you as long as he goes back to his cell afterwards to which he agreed. Upon finding you, another SCP was attempting to attack you but was soon neutralised by the other MTFs. 096 managed to push you away beforehand but his throw was so strong that you died on the impact when you fell to the ground (you really did get yeeted lmao). As 096 and the others ran towards you to make sure you were ok, you had stopped breathing and 096 screamed in sadness which flooded the whole field. As he was contained back to his cell, they noticed a small detail about 096 which was him wailing every now and again about your death.
SCP 105 (Iris)
You and Iris were just strolling down site 17 to meet with Cain and Dr James Dantensen. Once you've arrived at the agreed location within site 17, you guys were just catching up with old times and sharing your memories and stories about your everyday lives. However, this jolly moment only lasted for so long as someone had breached the containment to target you as you were close to a lot of the SCPs, especially the humanoid ones. As you, along with the others, ran to safety, the enemy caught up with you and threatened you for your knowledge of the SCPs. Iris finally caught up with you just in time to see the commotion and shoved you out of the way. Cain managed to shield you from another guy who attempted to shoot you in which Iris retaliates by throwing a knife back, but instead, injured you instead. She ran over and screamed as you slowly blacked out. Cain had to carry you over as Dantensen was calling the medics and you barely managed to survive. During your days in the hospital, the suspect managed to suffocate you which alarmed everyone. During the days that followed, Iris had been seeking out revenge as Cain tried to make her stay calm and think more rationally.
SCP 106 (Old Man)
It was another day spending some time in 106's pocket dimension as you relaxed with him. You both talked about your past experiences and the obstacles you both had overcome. Once you both were done relaxing (aka never you lazy catto so get up and do something useful for once cuz I don't wanna see yall get screamed at by your family and non-existent friends (jk jk i hope they're treating you well)), 106 took you back to his containment cell and just sat there as the researchers looked at you both blankly. 096 caused a containment breach which, of course, freed you both from 106's cell and you made a run for it (RUN FOREST RUN!). As you and 096 came into contact, 106 tried to put himself between the both of you, knowing what 096 was capable of. Unfortunately, this resulted in 106 being attacked and you died from looking at his face (wear a damn mask 096, you're in the middle of a pandemic). Saddened by the news, 106 seek revenge but was briefly neutralised and shipped to another facility so it wouldn't cause another breach due to his rage.

hello i saw you were accepting alastor requests so i might request a headcanon from alastor x fem! reader, where the reader is an acquaintance from his childhood, maybe their families were friends but he was never interested in meeting her and now in hell he discovers that they have a lot in common? maybe she also practices vodoo or witchcraft? If you don't want to, no problem, I hope you have a good week. 👋👋
((I would love too <3 And thank you! I hope you have a good week too friend! I had way to much fun with this one so it turned out long Like really long. it's been awhile since I've done these I got a lot of ideas in my head xD Im sorry but I'm not sorry. Hope you enjoy it!!!))
You weren't always in his view. You were just the neighbor girl next door. Sure, your mothers would make you play together during their Sunday brunch parties, but that didn't mean a whole lot then. Alastor was a strange boy you found out. He was shy, he didn't like to play with others, and honestly, he was a big cry baby, hence why you never really hung out unless forced to. And then one day, he wasn't there anymore. He grew up and moved away. Far far away into the big city or something along those lines. It didn't matter then.
But boy does it matter now. You never thought in a million years you'd end up in hell. And then again, you never thought in a trillion years that Alastor would the first real person you ran into down there. First of all, how did he end up here before you, and second... how did he recognize you in this new demonic body. You were frantic and confused and running away from a psychopathic demon that looked like some kind of horse when you quite literally ran into Alastor. He didn't budge but you were knocked back onto your feet. At first, you didn't recognize him and you were ready for your never-ending hellfire torment to begin between the dog man and this red deer. But when he laughed, and he spoke, you could hear the faint familiar voice of the boy who lived next door.
It didn't take a genius to see what was going here. Alastor was and will always be kinder to those he deemed innocent and fair. So he did you a good favor scaring off that demon, but not without scaring you as well. "Oh come on now, (Y/n)! Don't remember me?" He gave you a big smile. You knew it was him, but it was still hard to believe, "Is that really you, Alastor?" You asked him, "You're... haha... Dead too?" You found that so hard to believe for some reason. You died fairly young and so did he apparently. He laughed and nodded his head, "Oh that feels like ages ago! Went and brought myself here on my own. Honestly, I couldn't wait to get out that dumb they call the surface." Oh... Well then.
That was a very strange day, but it was the start of something you never had while alive. Alastor was the only peace you got in this strange and dangerous new world. You weren't exactly the vilest person, you weren't even sure how you ended up in hell. Lastly, you were prone to find yourself in danger too often. And it felt like all too often Alastor was never far to save you. Or maybe he just liked saving you because you were a fresh but old reminder of a simpler time.
You found yourself joining him for lunches, or stoles around the city. He'd often advise you where to go, and where to stay away from. You bonded over memories from life, and what happened when he moved away, "What did you do while I was gone?" He asked. You sat back in your chair and tried not the look at the murder crows Alastor threw his food at. "Oh, well I moved out of Louisiana eventually, I went west to California and found myself among liked-minded people." You told him. He perked up at that and asked, "Like-minded how?" That's when you laughed and shrugged, "Witches..." You chuckled then sat back, "You know I didn't believe in Hell, because pagans don't normally view death in that way. But guess we were wrong, maybe that why I'm here." You both laughed at that.
"You're mother would be very upset to know that wouldn't she?" Alastor joked with you. Your mother was a kind woman but was Catholic through and through, "It's funny too because my family puts up a very good front. Bet you or your mother didn't know we were active practices of Voodoo." You were shocked to say the least and Alastor's smug grin didn't help. You had no clue, but.... It explained a lot about how Alastor may have gotten here.
From there, the two of you found yourself spending more and more time together. Alastor loved showing you the tricks and spells he accumulated over the years. He also loved showing off the great deal of his power and strength. Being around him so often made you become a little numb to the violence that sometimes followed him around. Though rarely, when it did happen, Alastor never held back.
It was strange to think the two of you were so close now, versus when you were kids. He had changed so much in so many ways. The shy little boy who'd cry if he got a cut had grown into a man who deeply loved entertaining himself with other's pain. You wanted to know what changed him, but you knew better than to ask. Rather, you found yourself loving the time you spent with him so much that you didn't want to do anything to ruin it.
He was such a gentleman to you, however. Gentle and kind even. Alastor only seemed to want to protect you, make you laugh, and above all, keep you company. He'd always loop his arm with yours if you were ever walking anywhere. He'd hold open doors, go out of his way even buy you think, or treat you to wonderful meals. Though you noticed he never ate around you which was odd, you didn't question it. You learned quite early not to question Alastor's ways. He'd never give you a straight answer and he was good at dodging questions. It didn't really matter though, this was the rest of your existence, and honestly why question things anymore. Why follow the rules and lectures of society when you're dead. Alastor certainly didn't.

Minific with Daiji and Hiromi fluff please
Ahhh yes sweet Hiromi is my jam <3
Also I can't wait for the OHSHC references to start pouring in once Junya Komatsu starts playing Tamaki in the stage play XD Kiss kiss fall in love!
Daiji groaned as he opened his eyes, his limbs protesting as he attempted to get his bearings. He shifted in the stiff, uncomfortable beddings he was surrounded in, trying to roll over to a better position, only to feel a wave of exhaustion crashing into him all of a sudden. Ugh... what happened to me... He rubbed his temples as his head started to pound.
"Daiji?"
He relaxed at the sound of the familiar voice, lifting his head to smile at the person at his bedside. "Hiromi-san..."
"Thank gods, you're awake," Hiromi sighed in relief, sinking into the chair beside Daiji's bed. "You took quite the beating in that last battle we had. How are you feeling?"
"Honestly, I feel like shit," Daiji admitted with a small laugh. "Everything hurts like a bitch..."
Hiromi chuckled. "Well, that's to be expected." He reached for Daiji's hand to rub circles into it, before lifting it to kiss his knuckles gently. "I'm just glad you're okay, Daiji."
Daiji felt his face flush from the other man's sudden act of affection. "Hiromi-san..."
He leaned forward, and Hiromi met him halfway to bump their foreheads together. Hiromi sighed, his breath fanning across Daiji's lips. Daiji moved to close the millimeters-length gap between them-
And then, the door slid open with a slam as Ikki charged in, his brother's name on his lips. "Daiji! Is he o- Wait, what's going on here?" he asked, looking between the pair of them in confusion.
Daiji and Hiromi froze, staring at Ikki like deer caught in headlights, before the younger Igarashi groaned, pulling away from Hiromi and laying back on the bed, covering his reddened face. "Nice going Nii-chan," he complained.
"Uh... hey there, Ikki," Hiromi greeted, with an awkward smile and stiff tone.
"What- Hiromi-san?" Ikki's brows furrowed. "Were you... and Daiji..." he stammered as he tried to process what he just saw. "What the fuck...?"
Ikki's phone crackled as Vice lost his composure, laughing like a hyena as an awkward silence fell on the trio of Riders. "Ohh, looks like things just got super interesting around here~"

For the DVD fic commentary, can I ask about this passage from 'All Rest my Powers Defy': "Instead she turns and pokes him hard in the thigh with her finger. [...] his hand and lips still touching her ankle." (tumblr won't let me post a 500-word ask, dammit!)
Ah, the fic that started it all off XD XD
(All Rest my Powers Defy on AO3 I Tumblr)
Interestingly you picked exactly the scene I had in my head initially and then had to write 3k+ words to get to!
-
Instead she turns and pokes him hard in the thigh with her finger. “Why would I be avoiding you?” she asks with what she hopes isn't a pout. [I wanted this to be somewhat reminiscent of the scene on Elliot's bed. Sure, Lila was playing up the escaped psych ward patient thing but still, I liked the way she was sympathetic but kind of a bit silly because as becomes clear in the rest of that scene, doing sincere isn’t that easy for her. Like I’m 100% sure she deliberately elbowed him in the stab wound when she gave Diego a comforting pat]
Diego huffs out some air and quietly replies “I don't know.” [Diego can talk quite well when he’s helping others work through their shit or if he feels there are some truths they need to here, but so far the only time I remember him being challenged on his own feelings, was when Eudora talked to him after he turned Grace off and when Five asked him why he wanted to avenge Eudora and he ended up either struggling to talk or being a bit of a dick about it. To an extent, actually, both at the same time.]
“Jesus fuck, Diego, I came looking for you, didn't I? I've stuck around with your stupid apocalypse mission [Lila is so used to being part of the Commission and having an out out of time that in my interpretation she genuinely feels a bit like the Hargreeves are over-dramatic about their apocalypse nonsense. She doesn’t take it that seriously, she only came to help so she could stick around with them and maybe prove herself to the siblings and I think she’s annoyed that now she feels like she also has/had to prove herself to Diego]! Fuck, I've mostly played nice with the murderer of my parents [Yeah, she calls him that purely to guilt trip Diego...] for the last two weeks, what could possibly make you think I was avoiding you?” Lila looks up at him with exasperation and sees the guilt flash across his face at the mention of her parents [...and it works XD].
“I –“ he begins but when he can't get past the first word, he stops. And she suspects he does that so he doesn't end up stammering. She remembers him talking about that in group therapy at Holbrook, when, to Lila's horror, Diego would use his real feelings and trauma to try and soften Moncton to his cause. [I mean, I’m sorry, but he really was being a dumbass if he thought he was going to get out sooner if he just played along with therapy. Diego, my guy, you’re a pretty traumatised dude with a lifetime of bad coping mechanisms. Try something a little less dramatic than “My whole childhood was literally an experiment.” Sure, it’s true, but still, keep it light!] The thought of being that honest and open had genuinely caused cold fear to pool in the pit of Lila's stomach. Lying here in the bed next to Diego, though, with no one else around, she's reminded of the time she was lying on top of Elliott's fold out couch and had, for the very first time in her adult life, been honest and unguarded with anyone who wasn't her mother the Handler [you know what, I’m not so sure I like the strike out thing anymore. I had seen similar things done in other fic and really liked the visual representation of Lila’s issue with how to refer to the Handler now even in her own head, but I think those other fics did it better]. She's encouraged by the thought that she's managed it before, so maybe she can do it again.
Lila waits to see if Diego will go on. She knows he hated being talked over as a kid and wants to give him a chance if he has more to say [She definitely knows this because she was pretty bad about it at the asylum (just to get under his skin), until he blew up at her and threatened to never talk to her again, not because they had some calm and gentle heart to heart about it XD]. But he just slowly blinks and then looks down at his hands.
[Ok, this interaction here, this is what just popped into my head one day and then wouldn’t go away until I wrote some fic about it. Again, it just seems like something Lila would do. There’s so much physicality to the way they interact that I just thought that if neither of them quite knew how to go on with words, one of them would do something physical, seek out some contact, and Lila is already being a bit silly in how she’s planted herself on the bed] On a whim Lila lifts her leg closest to him off the wall, swings it around and lets it fall diagonally across his chest, hitting him hard enough with her calf to make him huff out some air in surprise. Diego looks back at her face and she can see the beginnings of a smile. This is familiar. This is reminiscent of her antics at the asylum. It makes things just a little more normal and comfortable between them.
Diego grabs her ankle and she starts to roll her eyes at him but is interrupted by her breath leaving her in a gasp when she suddenly feels his lips brush against the sensitive, exposed skin between the top of her sock and the bottom of her trousers that have fallen up her leg a little [I agonised over the correct description here XD. Like ok, the trouser leg has gone up her leg, as in the top of the leg is in the direction of the hip, the bottom is ankles and so on, that’s the case whichever way round you’re positioned. But of course the trousers haven’t fallen physically up, like you might fall up some stairs, but rather they actually have gone downwards with gravity. So yeah, gave myself a minor headache trying to decide whether my personal instinct on this would make sense to everyone reading this]. [Also, unrelated to the trouser logistics, I squeed a bit myself at the thought that if Diego was holding her ankle and saw the skin he’d instinctively press a kiss to her skin without really thinking about it just made me feel things! There’s the fact that he’s of course been wanting to kiss her the whole time, he’s just been too dumb and angry about it. The arse over tit way that it’s almost a bit like a romantic kiss of the hand, and maybe even some implications of fealty and submission…. But I haven’t thought too hard about this]
She looks up at him almost in shock, her heart in her throat, and her expression must give him pause because he looks back at her like a deer caught in the headlights, his hand and lips still touching her ankle. [Because, as I said, he’s not even really thought about it, but he’s so caught out that he doesn’t even think to pull away XD]
-
Ok, I think I’m falling short on awful puns, but beyond that I hope this helps XP

Everyone had heard about Geralt of Rivia. About Witchers and their wickedly good senses. The ways they fought monsters. About the ruins of Kaer Morhen huddled against the stone precipices- the partially demolished trapezium of the defensive wall, the remains of the barbican and gate, the thick, blunt column of the donjon.
The ruins that once stood tall and intimidating. Where in older times, witchers trained and underwent mutations. And to become one, you had to go through several gruelling stages or the witcher trials. First there is The Choice, which involves dietary changes and immense physical training.
Then there is the Trial of the Grasses, in which the young soon to be witchers, if lucky, consumed various alchemical ingredients which affected the nervous system. The Trial of the Dreams involves mutation of the eyes, bone marrow and hormones. And the Trial of the Mountains. Sometimes these processes where were enchanted from time to time, as a test of new elixirs and mutagens. Typically, this meant even more pain, vomit, or worse. Geralt emerged from these experiments with a lifetime of foul memories and the loss of pigment in his hair.
The Trial of Grasses was designed to work on boys and men, because women have different hormonal composition than men. Therefore, they were required to do new research. That’s why a girl from the same kingdom where the school was located, had been delivered on the doorstep of Kaer Morhen. As a test subject. It is known pretty well that females how lower survival chances when it comes to the Trials of Grasses.
Through screams, pain, vomit and shit, Axelia of Kaedwen managed to survive the Trials. But unlike any other witcher before her, she wasn’t so lucky when it came to obtaining cat like vision. In the end all that it led to was a blind witcheress.
Most of her life she lived in the witcher school. Unsure where such hexer could be of use.
It had turned into a gloomy day. The sun couldn’t be seen no where near the sky. It was the most ashen weather. But at the same time, it was dry, didn’t feel humid. Her head was bent down, as if she was carefully looking down where she was placing her feet. One in front of the other. But the black till like material type of blindfold was across her eyes. What point of the eyes if you don’t see? She was walking through a field filled with dry, white-ish grass, that somehow resembled her white hair. Her right palm was constantly dragging atop of the tall grass, as if she was feeling her surroundings. At the edge of the field stood pine trees. At start they seemed placed randomly, far from each other, but the more one stared, the thicker and deeper they went, turning into black endless mush. Wind blew peacefully, gently moving the ends of her hair and moving grass all around. As if someone had told her to stand still, girl abruptly stopped at the edge of the woods. With exhale she lifted her hands and untied the transparent blindfold and secured it at her hip. Looking in to the deepness of the trees, a gust of wind blew her hair behind her, deep growling sound coming from somewhere deep with-in. Reaching for a Cat potion at her belt, she took a swing and shivered. Her milky eyes gaining only cat-like black slits. She looked behind herself, where she had come from. Nothing but fields of grass and hills and mountains in the distance. Little to the left was small grove and behind that was hidden small village, only smoke from the chimneys could be seen above the trees. Turning back to the dark forest in front of her Axelia stretched her left hand to the closest tree. Her fingertips expertly scanning over the bark and caught on the ridges that were left there.
“Bear. Or wildcat. Wouldn’t leave marks like theses with-out a reason. Nor as deep.”  She whispered to herself. Remembering what villagers had said to her: that lone wanderers had been lost, never coming back and a lot of dead dears around. Rolling her neck, she reached for the silver blade on her back and with wicked smirk on her lips she walked into the dark forest.
What she didn’t know that while standing at that field, was the fact that she wasn’t the only witcher in the village.
One problem with the same monster, two people willing to pay to get rid of it.
As Geralt was about to step inside of the forest, leaving Roach in the field where she with-out worry fed on the grass, he was hit with a familiar smell, that he couldn’t pin point at the moment. Velvet rose and sandalwood. And the deeper he went into the woods, the strong the smell got. And it was accompanied with sound sword cutting through flesh, screams and groans and yells and hisses. With his silver sword in his hands he slowly made his way towards the source of the sound.
With an agonizing scream which didn’t sound human like, silence took over the dark forest. Now only using smell as his guide, Geralt made his way towards the war zone.
Finding now dead leshen. A woodland spirit that only lives to kill. The one that was responsible for the dead wanderers in the woods. Some fire was still flaming in the patches of grass and branches, which indicated the use of Igni. Everything of its body seemed to be laying somewhere around. There was one hand, there was a leg. But the deer scull head with antlers seemed to be missing.
“Here to steal my coin.” A female voice said behind the witcher. But he had felt her approach her before she had even opened her mouth. With elegant spin, Geralt had grabbed her sword that had been pointed at his back and turning both of the around, held its sharp edge against her throat.
And suddenly that smell of velvet rose and sandalwood seemed stronger than ever.
“Axelia of Kaedwen.” He stated, his brows furrowed. Her being the last person  he thought that could be here.
“Geralt of Rivia.” Axelia gritted through her teeth and elbowed witcher in the ribs.

I’ll get to those Magic Crafter Dragons I sweeeear But first, fun stuff from Discord. Dunno who made the original, it was just posted on a server, but yeet I did it anyway First of all, I don’t play a lot of games. I like games and the idea of them. I enjoy people playing stuff, I love watching others play. It’s that little sibling culture. But lemme toss a word or few about all of these. Though first of all, I only own 4 of the 8 games listed and even still I’ve only played 3 of them xD R.I.P. Pokemon Cafe Mix - The game is just Super Cute. Like oh my god Aesthetics! Adorable, every pokemon looks so nice and I just want to go to the cafe and taste everything and just chill. Please. It looks so cozy and relaxing. Gameplay is fairly simple too. Sometimes things seem a bit BS but in one way or another I’ll get through every stage etc. so it’s not too bad. Most of the time relaxing, can be addicting because of how simple things are. But really I love the game and I hope one day they’ll add more of the pokemon I like xD Buizel is my current favourite <3 It’d be nice seeing Mienshao or Mienfoo for one, maybe Glameow as it doesn’t get a lot of attention. We got Gogoat, but I wouldn’t mind a Sawsbuck or Deerling Pokemon Black 2 - To keep the Pokemon trend going, this is my fave out of the mainline games. I’ve been a fan ever since the first generation, I’m older than Gen 1 at that. But yeah, we did buy games but Nintendo stuff was too expensive and so I never really got to play those growing up. Black 2 was the first game I ever bought, for myself, with my own money. It was my first game and I loved it dearly. Still do and man I’d Love to replay it, but the curse of only 1 save file is cruel. I don’t want to restart my first ever save file. Currently I have no way of transferring anything over and I even have a Shiny Gothorita there (as underwhelming as it is, it was my first ever shiny). I love these games~~ Lots of different pokemon to choose from, great story, the fact that it’s a sequel is so freaking cool and unique I Love It So Much. Of course it’d be cool to have some extra things to do in it, like cleaning my badges, contests would be cool, I loved the mining stuff in Gen 4 when I got to try it on my friend’s Platinum save file as a kid. Speaking of, Gen 4 games would probably be my favourites, if I ever had the chance of owning and playing any fully. They have soooo much to do in them! Gen 5 is good and certainly up there in faves, but bruh, Gen 4 had all sorts of extra stuff, especially Platinum, and in HG/SS you had Pokemon following you like bruh that’s Crazy and I’d love to have that for a game I own, it’s like a dream Honorable mentions to Mystery Dungeon and Gen 6′s Pokemon Y for some grand memories. Firstly Pokemon Y, the second game I ever owned I think, great fun. I played that game for hooooooooours and it’s the only Pokemon Game that I’ve both played as a Nuzlocke and actually reset to play again. Also the first gen where I actually really got into competitive stuff, breeding for natures and stuff, and I’ve caught so many shinies in Y and Omega Ruby (mostly Y, OR has 1 shiny in Pidove, while Y has Ninetales, Pachirisu, Burmy, Gligar, and perhaps some other ones I caught/hatched myself). Mystery Dungeon games get a mention for having cool stories and I like the idea of the personality test and stuff. I’ve never played or owned any of these games, but I’ve watched Marriland play a handful of the games and currently am enjoying MDB playing through the first games in the series. Also a quick bloop on Colosseum being Cool as heck, and Battle Revolution gets a shoutout for looking so freaking good, having amazing music and making me search up videos with my favourite pokemon and just looking and watching hundreds of videos just because they looked so nice
Fire Emblem has to be the 2nd series of games I’ve gotten the most into. Although I’m a fairly new fan and my experiences and knowledge are limited, I do still enjoy the series and games - both old and new - a bunch. I only own Awakening, Conquest and 3 Houses, but I’ve again watched others play the past games a bunch, so I have some knowledge and memorable moments from those games too. Now I haven’t actually gotten myself to play 3 Houses yet, I’ve seen playthroughs of the game already and know the story etc. But yeh. Still, I’d say that I’ll probably like 3 Houses more than Awakening and Conquest. Awakening is nostalgia galore for me, but it does have its things with the story and characters and stuff. It’s nice, but I dunno, I just feel 3 Houses has an edge on it in some way. Maybe it’s just... Less controversial? Less Flame Wars? Maybe? Fates games, well, we all know the big glaring thing here. The story. And some of the characters suffer from this too. I kinda do wish that the Player had a biiiit more control in how the story went and played out, like I feel you definitely could have saved Scarlet in some way still, and all that. But eh, there’s enough stuff for me to go and prefer 3 Houses over it. And yes, I like choosing the members of my team and playing however I like, so giving me the ability to class my characters however I want is going to be a mistake as I’ll just make everyone a mounted unit and get destroyed but hey! Options :2 Variety :22 Great tiiiiimes~ Also it’s Blue Lions for me, Golden Deer Second Now for the games I don’t own. I chose Radiant Dawn because the Tellius games are just so good. I love the character in them, the story is pretty solid and the worldbuilding is cool too :2 I like both of the games, and while Path of Radiance is more coherent and doesn’t give split the characters up a bunch, Radiant Dawn has More of the great characters :2 Yes I know, not all of them are as fleshed out and thought out as the first game’s characters, but yo I still love them. I love a good continuation to a story. I love a ‘hey maybe it wasn’t as Black & White as we were made to believe’ twist. Also just hella good memories from watching BigKlingy play these games. The audience memed Aran to the final levels. We did it, he did so well, Aran deserved to be there xD Radiant Dawn also brings us Nailah, who is just. Yeah, you speak to me on so many levels, I’m easily readable. But also, woman, wolf, strong, yasss~~ Also I love the idea of the Jaegan character being a Thief/Assassin. That’s just so different and cool to me after all these Horse Units. And I’m the one guy who likes Levail and would love to see more of him. Give us more of Levail, the man who almost made it to being playable. Man. Levail is probably the one reason I’d pick Radiant Dawn over Path of Radiance xD The other game I’ve watched BigKlingy play through (and that’s my only experience on that game) is Sacred Stones. Pretty solid game all in all. Story, characters, but speaking of that story, if you really think about it, it’s Hella Dark, and that’s actually kinda cool in a way. I’m not that into dark stories, but here it worked. Also watched PhoenixMaster1′s playthrough on the Echoes game. I do like the game, if i find it one day I Might buy it but I’m not like in a hurry to get it. It was cool though, different for reasons but hey~ Also, Berkut, yes. I’m one of those people who like this angry man. But come on, he was really good xD Spyro I’ve already talked about in my lengthy little thing that I’ll get to continuing eventually xD But yes, I freaking love Spyro, my childhood, still very enjoyable experience full of great memories Metroid Fusion - Oh boy here come the nostalgia~ I’ve actually never played any Metroid games myself. I got introduced to the series in the early 2010s through youtube videos. I’m fairly sure it was me looking through dozens and dozens of Top 10 videos, several of which were on ‘the scariest bosses’, either unexpectedly scary or something else. But guess what, Nightmare from Fusion was in there, and I Think the person in the video said something on not wanting to even show the final forms of Nightmare’s face because it was that horrifying to them. And honestly? The fact that they didn’t show how bad it got, mixed with my morbid curiosity and woop, here I go~ Down the Metroid rabbithole where I watched a lot of videos on people fighting Nightmare and the other bosses in the game, eventually going into watching full run-throughs of the game and enjoying my time. Game looked pretty good, soundtrack was really nice too. And so I ended up on listening to a lot of the game series’ music and getting more familiar with the other games and the lore too. Learning to know that Samus was a lady was also hella badass. Fusion started it all for me, and while Super Metroid is cool, people also just play it a loooot, especially the Speedrunners, there’s also plenty of hacks based on that game and yeah I get it the game is Good, but that makes Fusion all the more special to me~ Devil May Cry 3 - Ok so again, I’ve not played any DMC games myself. This one again though is nostalgia ocean for me~ 2010 or such, I’m on some forum, said forum has a forum game based around songs or such and someone links one from this game. I Think it was the Doppelganger battle theme, or then I just found that one and listened to it for hours among the other battle themes these games have because they’re soooo gooood~~ DMC 4 was fairly new at that time, but I remember Gredo’s and Agnus’ themes being up there in songs I listened to a lot too. My experiences and stuff on this series was fully based on the songs, images on said songs, bits and pieces of the cutscenes of these games I saw and comments I read. I didn’t get too deep into DMC back then though, but I did have a bit of knowledge here and there, even if my idea of the stories in all the games was, well, I wouldn’t call it warped, but I definitely had imagined the story going differently to how things actually went xD Still, as a few years back I returned to DMC out of that feeling of nostalgia, and discovered DMC 5 had Just been released, boi, I was In. And I watched through cutscene compilations, playthoughs and what have you on all the games (Except for DmC, boot to you ReBoot), and it was quite the hype time~ I enjoy the chracters, the story that there is around them, and just how carefree and fun stuff can be. The party sure did get crazy~ Lost Dimension - The last game I have on the list there. This might be a weird one and I get that yeah. How many have even heard of this game? I sure wouldn’t have ever known of it without BigKlingy’s playthrough of it. But that playthrough was full of memories, I should really rewatch it one day~ I may not remember an awful lot about the game, but I do keep coming back to it in one way or another. I liked the character designs, the fact that all of them were unique and had their own abilities, there was a bit of story around all of them, the traitor system had you thinking & made each run a little different... That’s some Cool Stuff! The game might be a bit obscure and seriously not known at all, but for what it was, it was great and I enjoyed it a bunch! And now for stuff that wasn’t on the list but I kinda still want to mention. Because why not~ IB - This Almost made it onto the list, but I felt a little closer of a connection to the other games on it. But IB is one of those games from the early 2010s that I also got introduced to through the wonderful world of Youtube. I have forgotten the name of the person whose playthrough in the game I watched. But I watched a ton of people play this game. It was just. So cool. The puzzles in this game were nice and the fact I myself could solve and understand them too was pretty nice to me, and for some reason I just enjoyed watching other people react to the game and try solving stuff. It also had a couple different endings so watching and seeing what the other people got was also interesting. Great memories~ Witch’s House / Ao Oni / Mad Father - And all sorts of other horror games that kinda fall under this grouping and style and stuff. Yeah, IB kinda opened a bit of a thing for me as I realized I greatly enjoyed the horror games with puzzle elements to themselves + a bit of story here and there. There’s definitely much much more than these 3, I watched soooo many of these games being played by others. Ao Oni I may have discovered through my Hetalia phase though, HetaOni, if any of you still recognize that name. Daym. Although at first I didn’t want to watch HetaOni because of the portraits. Pfffff I thought the person who made them was being mean to some of the characters, but nah, I’d later learn that those were simply just mimicing the ones from the original game. But yeah, Ao Oni had a dozen variants and things inspired by it so those kept me busy for a whiiiiiile Hades - Now here’s a cool recent game! Again, haven’t played it, but it looks cool. The story is nice, character designs are God Like (hehe), soundtrack is super cool, aesthetics and oh my god everything is voice acted oh my gooood. This game is just. So cool. And the team who did it seems really cool too and are seemingly full of nice amazing people. This is definitely some great example work on how things should be done :2 Definitely something to look up to, I love everything about them~ The only reason Hades isn’t up there is because of its recentness and my brain not managing to think of it somehow even as I struggled to come up with stuff (I was mostly trying to think of stuff I had played, so that’s one thing. I even struggled to remember DMC because my current hyperfixations are elsewhere and that’s freaking Wild considering how much I enjoy DMC) But yeah, Hades is Super Freaking Cool Crash Bandicoot - These games I did play as a kid actually, the 1st one was way too hard and the 3rd one was my favourite. I like Crash, these games were nice too and I have plenty of good memories with the game, just not enough to make it up there on my list. Yeah it sounds stupid that I’d take out a game I actually played and replace it with stuff that I didn’t, but... Hey, my list Minecraft - Watched several videos on other people pllaying this game, I know of it, I respect it, but I’ve never played it myself and stuff. It’s cool but didn’t make it on the list Animal Crossing - Riiiiiight, these games seem adorable and I wouldnt mind owning an AC game one day. I’d probably reset continuously though to get Skye in my town/village/island, she’s my favourite xD If the recent game had cost lest I might have gotten it. 60-70€ is just, a lot of money Persona - I guess I’ll mention these too. My experiences are through Bigklingy’s videos again. 3 is a fave, 4 seems cool, 5 I don’t know a lot about but it seems nice too. I probably wouldn’t be able to play these games myself, since some fights kinda need certain things and strategies and you can’t really just pick whatever and whom ever and roll through with brute strength. I mean, I Guess you could, but that might not be as fun in the long run? Who knows, but it’s not exactly like Pokemon or Fire Emblem in those regards you know The big conclusion is that I like all sorts of different aesthetic looks, mostly probably natural with some brighter colors in it. Stories are good, I love stories! Good characters with nice designs and backstories are really nice too. Things being thought out and built nicely is great you know? A little bit of strategy, fantasy here and there. Nothing too dark and gloomy or ‘hyper realistic’ or what have you. I guess no first person shooters either, though combat is fine. Games where I can pick and choose what to use and what kinds of ‘teams’ I build and the ‘members’ I use in them is nice. I do love watching others play, but with games like Pokemon & Fire Emblem I have that drive of choosing who to use and having my own unique experience kinda gets me to buy the games.
