Hii Blue!
Hello, could i get a neteyam x human fem reader one? Neteyam and reader were together for a short amount of time and they didn't have time to cuddle or stay together. One day Neteyam comes at the lab to meet with reader and forgets how small she really is. She's a rly short girl, maybe 4'11 (148 cm) so she smaller than all the humans from the lab. He takes advantage of it and corners her to the wall knwoing she can't escape or manhandles her like a doll. OML I WANT A NETEYAM IN MY LIFE SO BAD
Tumblr media
Title: Doll-Sized, Apparently
Rating: 18+ / Mature
Aged-Up Character: Neteyam is aged up (18+) for the purposes of this story. ( don’t like don’t read)
Pairing: Neteyam x Human!Fem!Reader
Word Count: ~1,400
Genre: Flirty fluff, suggestive tension, post-canon
Synopsis: After weeks apart, Neteyam returns from a long patrol to find you buried in lab work, too distracted to notice the world—or how much you’ve missed him. What begins as a surprise visit quickly turns into a tender, charged reunion filled with playful teasing, unspoken longing, and the deep comfort of someone who knows you too well.
A/N: Thank you so much for your patience—I’m so sorry this took longer than planned! Life got in the way, but I never forgot this request. Once I sat down, Neteyam and the reader just clicked, and the story flowed into something softer and more intimate than I expected. I hope it was worth the wait and that it brings a little warmth to your day. Thank you for the inspiration and for sticking with me!
The lab was quiet, humming with the low thrum of machines and the faint antiseptic tang that never entirely faded. You sat hunched over a flickering monitor, wires tangled like ivy across your lap, muttering frustrated threats under your breath like it might scare the screen into working. A half-eaten ration bar sat beside you, forgotten. Your fingers were smudged with dust and grease, your eyes were strained from too many hours squinting at code.
It was peaceful, in that sterile, chaotic kind of way.
You didn’t hear him at first.
Not the soft hiss of the airlock sealing behind him or the muffled thump of heavy, bare feet padding over the smooth floor. Not even the shift in the air—warmer now, the kind of warmth that came with living things and open jungle, with wildness and calm wrapped into one impossible person.
“Still wrestling machines instead of asking for help?”
His voice was low and amused—like velvet and smoke. You jumped hard, elbow cracking into the metal shelf behind you.
“Shit—Neteyam!”
He laughed, that rich, deep sound that always seemed to bloom in your chest before your brain even registered it. He ducked beneath the lab’s upper beam, his frame nearly too big for the cramped space, tail curling in lazy spirals behind him, unbothered by the tight quarters.
And stars, you stared.
He was all azule skin and lean muscle, braids still damp from the forest mist, a few fallen leaves clinging to him like they didn’t want to let go. A smear of green streaked his bicep—sap, maybe, or war paint, faded from patrol. But it was his eyes—warm, gleaming amber—that made you forget how to breathe. The way they softened the second they found yours.
“You came just to scare the crap out of me?” you managed, cradling your elbow with a wince.
“Let me see,” he murmured, already crossing the room.
You didn’t even get a chance to argue. He reached for your arm, huge hand wrapping around your forearm with ridiculous gentleness. His fingers easily spanned your wrist, his touch warm, almost reverent.
“I’m fine,” you said, though your voice wasn’t as steady as you wanted it to be.
“You’re reckless,” he said with a teasing hum. “Tiny things should take better care of themselves.”
You shot him a look. “I’m not that small.”
Neteyam tilted his head, smirking. “You’re smaller than Spider. And Spider is… a stick with limbs.”
“I prefer fun-sized,” you huffed, narrowing your eyes.
He leaned down slowly, deliberately, nose brushing yours. “You’re doll-sized,” he murmured, and before you could fire back—
He moved.
One arm slid behind your back, the other under your thighs, and suddenly you were off the ground, yelping in surprise as he swept you up like you weighed absolutely nothing.
“Neteyam!” you squeaked, boots kicking helplessly.
His chest rumbled with laughter. He carried you easily, pressing you back against the wall with a soft thud, holding you just high enough that your nose was level with his collarbone.
“You really have no concept of personal space,” you muttered, breath catching as his body pressed into yours—firm and solid and way, way too warm.
“Tell me to put you down,” he said, voice low.
You didn’t. Couldn’t. Your fingers had curled into his shoulder on instinct, your heart a traitorous rhythm beneath your ribs.
He lowered his head, nuzzling lightly at your cheek. “You smell like lab and sugarfruit—sweet and a little wild,” he said, voice husky. “I missed that.”
You tried—tried—to glare. “You’re insane.”
“Maybe,” he murmured, his forehead dropping to rest against yours. “But I missed you.”
The soft confession stole your breath more than anything else had.
“…You did?”
He nodded slightly, lips brushing your temple. “More than I should’ve. But I was afraid if I came back too soon…I wouldn’t want to leave again.”
Silence bloomed between you, thick with everything you hadn’t said the last time he left. The last mission. The last too-long goodbye.
Your fingers were already curling into the chest beads that hung between you, grounding yourself in the reality that he was here—warm and solid and so stupidly beautiful. You hated how much you’d missed him. How badly you’d counted the days.
“I kept thinking about your hands,” he whispered, shifting his grip so that your fingers were cradled between his. His thumb stroked your knuckles, featherlight. “How small they are. How they feel on me.”
Your heart kicked like it wanted to answer him. You hated how easily he did that—melted you with nothing more than words and touch.
“…You’re not playing fair,” you whispered.
“I’m not trying to.” His lips brushed your cheek, then the corner of your mouth—barely a kiss, but the promise of one. “I want you to remember what it feels like when I’m close. I want you to miss me.”
“You don’t need to remind me.” Your voice was barely there. “I haven’t stopped.”
His expression softened. He leaned in, brushing his nose against yours. “Neither have I.”
And then, finally, he lowered you. Slowly. Like he hated giving you back to gravity.
Your boots hit the floor again, but he didn’t move away. You were still caged in by the lines of his arms, his chest, his tail curled behind you like punctuation.
“I forgot how small this place is,” he murmured, glancing around the lab. “How do you breathe in here all day?”
You shrugged. “I like it. It’s quiet. Controlled.” You hesitated, then added, “It’s easier not to miss things when there’s too much to fix.”
Something in his eyes flickered, like he understood. Because he did.
He pulled a satchel from his shoulder like it had just occurred to him. “I brought fruit,” he said, nonchalantly. “The weird kind. Sticky. The one that stains your mouth purple.”
You blinked at him, momentarily thrown. “You brought me snacks?”
“You skip meals when you’re distracted,” he said simply. “And you’re always distracted.”
Your heart squeezed tight, the same way it always did when he saw right through you. He pulled the fruit from the satchel and offered it, the skin glossy and deep violet, still cool from the shade of the forest.
You took it with both hands, fingers brushing his. “You walked all the way here just to make sure I eat?”
He tilted his head. “I came to see you,” he said, matter-of-fact. “The fruit is a bonus.”
You bit into it, juice slipping down your chin, sticky-sweet and tangy. Neteyam watched you with an infuriatingly pleased look on his face.
“You’re so annoying,” you whispered, smiling despite yourself.
He leaned down, brushing his lips against your brow, softer than a breath. “But you like me.”
“I do,” you admitted, voice barely a murmur.
“Good.” He laced his fingers with yours, holding your hand like it was precious. “Come with me. No missions. No patrols. Just us, this time.”
Your smile bloomed slow and sure. “Took you long enough.”
He squeezed your hand. “I’m not going anywhere, yawne.”
And for the first time in weeks, you let yourself believe it.
But you didn’t move right away. You just stood there, wrapped in the hush of the lab and the gravity of his gaze. You looked up at him—this impossibly tall, impossibly careful person who could carry you like a feather and still ask for your hand like it was sacred.
Your thumb brushed over his palm. “You really mean it? Just us?”
He nodded. “I’ve already told Lo’ak. He’s covering my watch. Mom knows. Kiri helped me pick the fruit.” His smile turned sheepish. “She said I was being dramatic.”
“You are dramatic.”
“Maybe. But I want time with you. Not stolen hours. Not quick visits. Time.”
You didn’t realize your eyes had stung until he leaned down again, catching a tear at the corner with his thumb.
“I’m here now,” he whispered.
You nodded, pressing your cheek to his chest. The soft tap of his heartbeat echoed through you, steady and grounding.
“Okay,” you whispered. “Okay. Let’s go.”
His arm wrapped around you again, careful, cradling. Not to carry this time—but to hold.
And this time, you let him.

all of you making Avatar-Rio comparisons are wrong.
THIS IS NOT QUARITCH. Eytukan is Eduardo!!!! the father of the girl and leader of the tribe who is harsh and hostile towards the protagonist at first because of his human ways, but eventually warms up to him and accepts him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Neytiri and Jake of course are Jewel and Blu. the beautiful girl from the rainforest who is very fierce and rooted in the ways of her people and who dislikes and mistrusts humans because they destroyed her home + the boy who was raised with human ways but eventually learns, thanks to the girl, how to follow her traditions (while still maintaining a lot of human traits) and whose human skills actually end up being helpful to fight and drive away the human invaders who are trying to destroy the forest for their own selfish economic gain
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tsu'tey is Roberto (childhood friend of the girl who seems like a possible love interest, but ultimately isn’t, he’s her father’s favorite and the better warrior who knows the ways of the clan/tribe, he’s at odds with the protagonist at first but ends up trusting him and fighting at his side)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
the kids obviously (rip Neteyam i guess Rio predicted your death)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
and this is Quaritch. it’s Nigel. the villain who is extremely skilled, proficient and cruel, who was believed dead at the end of the first movie, but returned to get his revenge (with a new gang) and followed the family into the jungle
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
yeah he doesn’t have white hair anymore. but it’s still him. look at the evil smile. same person

As the youngest sibling, Tuktirey, or Tuk, had formed a strong attachment to you. Her curious nature often led her to seek comfort in your presence, and she had grown accustomed to having you by her side. The transition from the Omatikaya forests to the Metkayina reefs proved challenging for Tuk, who struggled to adjust, expressing her dissatisfaction through whining and sulking. However, Upon arrival, her initial wariness slowly gave way to wonder as she explored the new environment. However, the encounter with Tonowari and Ronal, particularly when Ronal grasped her tail, left Tuk feeling uneasy. She instinctively ran to your side. Clinging onto your arm with a frown., she whispered, 'I don't like it here,' as she looked to you for reassurance and comfort. Tuk hid underneath (Y/N) riding cloak seeing comfort. Tuk clung to you, searching for some sort of comfort. (Y/N) chuckled at the adorable sight of her younger sister huddling beneath her ridingcloak. Tuk's large, curious eyes peering out at the world around them from around the cloak's edge. (Y/N) reached out a hand and gently ruffled Tuk's hair with a warm smile. She knew that her sister was a bit timid and not used to so many people.
"Hey, it's okay."(Y/N) spoke softly, trying to soothe Tuk's worries. "They're just curious, they won't hurt you." (Y/N) quickly picked her up from the ground As you picked her up, Tuk wrapped her arms around your neck. Pressing her cheek against your chest she held herself tight to you. With a soft, childish pout, she continued to mutter and mumble against you, all the while continuing to examine the people of the Metkayina with her big, wide eyes.You could faintly feel her tail wrap around your ankle as she held herself against you.
"They're... weird." Tuk mumbled against you, her arms still wrapped around your neck. She looked at the Metkayina in wonder, her face turning pensive with every passing moment. The Metkayina people looked nothing like the people of the Omatikaya tribe, she thought to herself.(Y/N) covered her mouth
Tuk scrunched her face up in annoyance when you covered her mouth, mumbling something incoherent underneath your hand as she attempted to speak. You could feel her tail wrap a little bit tighter around your ankle, a clear indication that she didn't like being shushed like a child - despite the fact that she was a child. After all, she had her own opinions she wanted to voice!
(Y/N) readjusted her hold on Tuk she was starting to get heavy and slip Tuk wiggled a little in your arms, trying to get comfortable. She also looked a bit sleepy and tired from all the commotion happening around her. Tonowari glanced back at Tuk, noticing her squirming, and spoke up.
Tonowari spoke "She looks tired. We can set you up with a place to rest before anything is decided ." Even though(Y/N) was the eldest and she had been comforting her sister she was still young and still relied on her parents for some things.she tucked herself by the nearest parent
Jake noticed you tucking yourself against him and Neytiri, seeing the uneasiness and worry on your face. He gave you a slight reassuring smile, patting your shoulder in attempt to comfort you. As for Neytiri, she glanced down at you for a brief moment, a hint of worry on her face, before she looked up at Tonowari with a nod.
Neytiri agreed "Yes... I think that would be best."Tonowari nodded back in response, gesturing for you and your family to follow him. He led you through the Metkayina camp, through a maze of woven huts and tents. As you passed by, curious Metkayina children peaked out from some of the huts, watching you and your siblings with wide eyes. Eventually, Tonowari stopped in front of an empty tent and waved his hand towards the entrance.
"You can stay here for now. It should be comfortable enough." Tonowari spoke once again
Jake and Neytiri both nodded in thanks, their gazes moving over the tent before looking back at Tonowari. "This will do. Thank you." Neytiri reached out and grabbed Tuk, taking her from your arms and carrying her into the tent. Jake waited until both the kids and Neytiri were safely inside.
~~~~~~~~~
That night well everyone slept in their hammocks Tuk scurried into(Y/N) waking her up (Y/N) groaned slightly as she was woken from her sleep by Tuk's stirring. Her eyes cracked open as she felt the small weight on the hammock. She turned to look at her younger sister in the semi-darkness, a mix of annoyance and confusion on her face.*
(Y/N), groggily incuired"Tuk… what are you doing? It's late…" Tuk looked up at you with wide, pleading eyes. There was a hint of fear in her expression, and it was clear that she had something on her mind. "I don't like it here." Tuk whispered to you, looking around warily before turning her gaze back up to you. Looking for comfort in her older sibling.
As you glanced down at your sister, you saw her wide, green eyes peering up at you. She was still a child, despite being seven years old
- and right now, she was scared.
The entire situation and move away from the Omatikaya clan, and to the Metkayina reefs, was scaring Tuk. So, Tuk clung to you, searching for some sort of comfort.
(Y/N)’s annoyance quickly faded as she took in Tuk's frightened expression. She could never resist her little sister's pleading eyes, especially when she was scared. Softening her gaze, she pushed aside the blankets, making room for Tuk to slip in beside her.
Tuk immediately scurried into the space, burrowing under the blankets next to you. She snuggled close to you, her small body fitting perfectly against your side. A sigh of relief escaped her as she felt the warmth and comfort of your presence.
“Alright but go straight to sleep” Tuk nodded eagerly, clinging tightly to you. A small yawn escaped her as she snuggled closer, her eyelids already growing heavy with fatigue. Tuk, in a sleepy voice responsed “ok I will... promise..."
Over the next few days(Y/N) stayed close to her siblings never not keeping watch
Jake and Neytiri were both silently grateful for your protectiveness over your siblings. Especially with all the wary glances and muttered comments they had heard from the Metkayina as they settled in the village. Although they tried to keep a calm composure and act as though the odd looks and comments didn't affect them, a tension was still present in the air.
Meanwhile, Tuk, Loak, and Kiri were all sticking close to you, either holding onto your hand or staying by your side. None of them liked the strange looks they were receiving either.
Tuk had wondered a bit to far from their pod and(Y/N) immediately dragged her closer Tuk let out a quiet huff when you suddenly grabbed her hand and pulled her back to the pod. She pouted a little as she looked up at you with a slight frown on her face. "Hey! | was just looking around!"
“Well you can look around in front of the pod it's the same water and sand " Tuk gave another huff as she crossed her little arms over her chest, clearly unimpressed with your overprotectiveness. She raised a brow at you, a slightly defiant gleam in her eyes. "I'm not a baby you know. I can walk around just fine by myself."
(Y/N) gave her a look. Tuk held your gaze with her own, determined to not be the first one to look away. Her little arms crossed over her chest stubbornly, and her tail was twitching with mild annoyance. "Well, it's true! I can walk on my own, and I can explore without you always being there to drag me back!!" “Fine then next don't come find me when you're scared and you can forget about getting into my bed” Tuk's eyes widened slightly as she heard your threats, and a flash of panic crossed her face. She was stubborn, but she also didn't like the thought of not cuddling with you when she got scared at night or during scary storms. Her resolve quickly faded, a hint of guilt showing on her face. “Hey! That's not fair!" She cried out .
(Y/N) couldn't help but smirk seeing Tuk's expression falter, the threat working on her as expected. But they still had a bit of a stubborn look on their face, trying to maintain some sense of dignity. “Well then, you better stay close to the pod. No more wandering off, got it?" Tuk huffed again, her face reddening slightly from embarrassment at how easily you manipulated her. However, she nodded her head obediently, begrudgingly agreeing to stay close to the pod. Her voice was a mixture of irritation and submission as she mumbled her response.
"Yeah, yeah, fine... I'll stay close to the pod. No more wandering off..." Jake and Neytiri, who were nearby, exchanged a knowing glance and a faint smirk. They had been subtlety watching the interaction between you and Tuk, amused by how quickly you managed to get Tuk to agree to your terms. They knew how stubborn their youngest child could be, and it seemed you had figured out the perfect method to handle her. “Hey you know what why don’t you go bug your mom and the old man mmm?” *Tuk pouted slightly as you suggested she go bother their parents. She let out an exaggerated sigh, still slightly annoyed by your earlier threat. But despite her irritation, she couldn't help but be amused by the idea of bothering Neytiri and Jake. "Fine, I guess I'll go bother them... maybe they'll be less boring than you.”
“Ohh no I get a moment of silence with the yapping brat “ Tuk's eyes widened with mock offense, her little fists clenching at her sides. With a slight huff, she gave you a pouty glare, and her tail flicked with irritation. She tried to keep her voice steady, but a hint of playfulness laced her words. "Hey! I am not a yapping brat! I'll have you know, I can be quite entertaining when I want to be!”
“ yeah sure now off you go” she pushed her by the head . Tuk yelped slightly as you pushed her forward gently, stumbling for a moment before regaining her balance. She grumbled a little under her breath, still feeling a bit annoyed by your playful push. She shot a mock glare back at you, her lip twitching as she fought back a stubborn smile. "Oh, fine, fine! I'm going! Sheesh, you're so bossy!" She turned away from you and scampered off in the direction of her parents. Skyler grabbed her before she left and instead went outside the hut to the edge of the walk way and dropped her in the water
Tuk let out a small squeal as you picked her up and tossed her into the water in one fluid motion. She splashed into the water, coming up a moment later with a look of surprise and glee on her face. She giggled, her tail swishing happily through the water "Hey! I wasn't expecting that!" “That’s the whole point brat” (Y/N) retorted.
(Y/N) couldn't help but smirk seeing Tuk's expression falter, the threat working on her as expected. But they still had a bit of a stubborn look on their face, trying to maintain some sense of dignity. “Well then, you better stay close to the pod. No more wandering off, got it?" Tuk huffed again, her face reddening slightly from embarrassment at how easily you manipulated her. However, she nodded her head obediently, begrudgingly agreeing to stay close to the pod. Her voice was a mixture of irritation and submission as she mumbled her response.
"Yeah, yeah, fine... I'll stay close to the pod. No more wandering off..." Jake and Neytiri, who were nearby, exchanged a knowing glance and a faint smirk. They had been subtlety watching the interaction between you and Tuk, amused by how quickly you managed to get Tuk to agree to your terms. They knew how stubborn their youngest child could be, and it seemed you had figured out the perfect method to handle her. “Hey you know what why don’t you go bug your mom and the old man mmm?” *Tuk pouted slightly as you suggested she go bother their parents. She let out an exaggerated sigh, still slightly annoyed by your earlier threat. But despite her irritation, she couldn't help but be amused by the idea of bothering Neytiri and Jake. "Fine, I guess I'll go bother them... maybe they'll be less boring than you.”
“Ohh no I get a moment of silence with the yapping brat “ Tuk's eyes widened with mock offense, her little fists clenching at her sides. With a slight huff, she gave you a pouty glare, and her tail flicked with irritation. She tried to keep her voice steady, but a hint of playfulness laced her words. "Hey! I am not a yapping brat! I'll have you know, I can be quite entertaining when I want to be!”
“ yeah sure now off you go” she pushed her by the head . Tuk yelped slightly as you pushed her forward gently, stumbling for a moment before regaining her balance. She grumbled a little under her breath, still feeling a bit annoyed by your playful push. She shot a mock glare back at you, her lip twitching as she fought back a stubborn smile. "Oh, fine, fine! I'm going! Sheesh, you're so bossy!" She turned away from you and scampered off in the direction of her parents. Skyler grabbed her before she left and instead went outside the hut to the edge of the walk way and dropped her in the water
Tuk let out a small squeal as you picked her up and tossed her into the water in one fluid motion. She splashed into the water, coming up a moment later with a look of surprise and glee on her face. She giggled, her tail swishing happily through the water "Hey! I wasn't expecting that!" “That’s the whole point brat” (Y/N) retorted.
"Would anyone want to read --" Listen, imma stop you right there. Yes. YES, someone would want to read that. You write that weird little fucked up story. Or that domestic little slice of life story. That drabble or that 300k monster.
I promise someone wants to read it.
"guys I do not condone any of this in real life" "this is fiction" "consent is key. this is only fiction" "murder is bad irl" — I wish fanfic authors didn't feel like they had to clarify this in author's notes or else they might be accused of being abusers or worse (I admit that such disclaimers are also something I personally use for my own stuff because I feel like I had to make it clear). like... people used to not care if an author wrote dead dove fics because people used to understand that ao3 fics are not a reflection of someone's in real life views or morality in any way. people used to understand that fanfics mean what they mean; fan fiction. none of it is real. maybe it's purity culture that normalizes witch hunt and censorship in the past couple years, and therefore authors feel like they have to clarify that just because they write about violence or noncon stuff doesn't mean they're murderers or sex offenders in real life. and I think it sucks that these things (purity and cancel culture?) have made authors feel like they have to apologize for the art they created instead of being proud of their hard work and all the dedication they put into creating these art. artists should not have to feel like they have to apologize for creating art that isn't all rainbow and sunshine. artists should not have to be made to feel ashamed of their own art if it's not all rainbow and sunshine.
I don’t agree with the “you can write noncon and dark fics as long as you make sure your readers get the message that these things are bad” or “you can write noncon and dark fics if it’s your way of coping with your trauma” take either. because writers do not owe you anything. the message writers want to send to their readers — whatever that message may be, if there’s any message or moral of the story for readers to take from the stories at all — is none of your business. why writers write what they write is none of your business. remember “don’t like don’t read”. no one forces you to read anything you don’t like. dark and noncon fics are a form of creative writing and creative writing is a form of art. you can’t pressure artists into creating art that “fit your moral compass” nor can you apply your own moral compass to artists to determine if they can create dark art or not, if their reasoning behind creating dark art passes your moral compass. like… what artists create and why artists create are none of your business. and you don’t get to shame artists for creating art that you hate / art that disgusts you. what you can do is ignore the art because it clearly was not made for you and that’s okay. what isn’t okay is you harassing artists because you don’t like the things they created.
writers, embrace and be proud of your works. as long as all the trigger warnings are tagged properly, you have nothing to apologize for.
