anyways, not to brag, but I requested a physical copy of the June? American Girl Doll catalog and it had this incredible two page spread and I finally got around to framing it this weekend!! <3
Cécile’s Parlor Set is the only piece of doll furniture I own, so I thought I’d actually photograph Marie-Grace and Cécile with it! The desk has its special place on my doll shelf, but it rarely gets used now for props due to my limited doll space.
This has been high on my list of add-on WIPS for a long time, and now that I've finally read their books I've been motivated to make more of these girls' accessories. My original plan was to also include the necklaces, but I ran out of time and wanted to post something before January was over. Hopefully the necklaces will be coming soon.
**Front views of both hats under the cut**
Cécile's hat comes in swatches to match her meet outfit. It is a mesh edit of Melody's meet hat.
Marie-Grace's hat is a merged package with the base in the (retired) Milk Tea palette and the ribbon overlay in the Primary palette. It is a frankenmesh of @waxesnostalgic's mushroom hat and @vintagesimstress's 1890s hat.
Ribbon overlay found under piercings.
Both are hat slider compatible.

Doll show haul!!!! Only the outfit are what I got today!
First up we have Nicki wearing the Earth day tie die shirt I found for $3. She was my buddy all day today, and I think this shirt suits her so well!
Next up we have Marie-Grace in Kirsten’s Midsummer dress. I think this dress looks great on Marie-Grace, though I honestly might try it on Cecile next.
Then we have Molly in her after school outfit! I almost squealed when I saw this. I love this set so much.
Next up Addy! I’m so glad I finally have another outfit for her, even if it’s only her other meet dress!
Then I found Samantha’s coat for $5 and got super excited.
And finally, the best find of the day, Samantha’s bathing costume (the 1997 version) in complete condition, for $40. This has been one of my “only if I find a good deal, but MAN I want it” outfits. So it’s awesome to have it now!
This is the primary AG holiday decor in our house. Seemed unlikely that we could afford to collect all the historical holiday outfits, so this is the next best thing.
Hello everyone! Happy summer! I’ve been super busy with life stuff, but today I made time to change all of my dolls out of their winter clothing into their summer clothing! I am hopeful that I will get to take photos of them before the summer is over. I hope you have a great day!
The city of New Orleans is holding a huge benefit celebration to mark the end of the months-long yellow fever epidemic. Best friends Marie-Grace and Cécile are doing everything they can to contribute. Today, they're cutting pretty paper flowers to make into garlands, which will decorate the concert hall! While they work, they discuss Cécile's poem that she will recite onstage, and the duet that Marie-Grace will sing with Madame Océane.
Both outfits were made by me, as well as the scissors and paper flowers.
