Simstomaggie's Amalia Recolored

Here's part one of my 300 followers gift! You guys were pretty split between more Victorian recolors and a build, so I thought I'd try and do both. First up is this dress, originally by the lovely @simstomaggie.

It comes in a whole 45 swatches this time - fifteen (mostly) plain solids, fifteen decorated ones (as seen above), and fifteen with a white base and colorful accents. I have once again included the PSD file, please feel free to use my textures for other things, so long as you provide credit! I'm quite pleased with the skirt & bodice textures for this one...

Also I'm sorry in advance for how pixely the "decorated" skirt textures look, there wasn't a lot I could do given UV sizing. There are lots of smooth skirts that look just fine though :)

The decorated version was originally inspired by this fashion plate sent to the Sims of History discord by @zeehasablog but clearly I diverged pretty soon after I realized how little texture space I had to work with... I think I managed to get the spirit of it though!

Annie - A BGC Simblreen Collection

The 1982 version of Annie starring Aileen Quinn was one of my favorite movies growing up. All of us kids in the neighborhood spent countless hours acting the story out, and I'm pretty sure I still have the soundtrack memorized to this day.

You may be wondering why I did not make the outfit Annie wore while she lived at the orphanage. The reason I chose these four in particular is because they were featured in a 1982 Sears catalog. Girls could choose outfits inspired by the movie, or contemporary ones with the Annie logo.

All items are in my Combined Diary palette with a few swatches added or removed. The movie dress is a mesh edit of @linzlu's Samantha collection. There is some weird texture on the fingernails. This comes from the original mesh, and shouldn’t be very visible. The sailor dress uses a collar from @waxesnostalgic.

Hedgehog Hair Set

This was my treat for week 1 of Simblreen

This set was made because the lovely @mrtri91 asked for a late 18th century Hedgehog hairstyle and then I got carried away!

There are 3 base hairstyles (Georgiana, Elliot V1 and Elliot V2), 5 add on accessory hairs and 2 bow overlays for Elliot V1. Overall, there are 32 different variations of the hairstyles (I think!).

The accessory hairs are 3 variations of curls hanging in the front, 1 set of curls hanging behind, and a set of rolls. They only work with the Hedgehog hair set for now and they are found in the piercings category. All of the front curls are under Left Brow Rings, the back curls are under Right Brow Rings, and the rolls are in Left Nose Rings. This means that you can have any combination of front curls, back curls and rolls without them conflicting with each other.

The bow overlays are found under Right Nose Rings. One is using @simulatedstyles's palette from his dresses of that era and the second uses @anachrosims's Georgian palette.

This was a long labour of love, as I spent over a year trying to put the Prix de Thornolie together, and these silks were just one of the many things I put together!

There's a funky bit of weirdness at the bodice. I have redone this thing over and over and over and I am not skilled enough to fix it. I did my best.

Look, I did a thing! Range Rustic Counter from Horse Ranch, emptied out and with slots added to the shelves where the plastic things used to be. I've wanted to do this for a long time, finally got around to it. The shadows of the stuff are still there, because I'm so very lazy, but once you place objects on there it looks normal. Long Minoan Overskirt "Helen"

You're tired of colorless ancient worlds with the ever-the-same five garments you put onto your sims? Pep it up a little with this overskirt Minoan style!

- BGC - for women, teen-elder - disallowed for random - 28 swatches, plain and patterned - the texture covers the hat uv space, so it isn't compatible with hats or any cc that covers the same space - tights category - will fit over most EA and cc skirts, dresses and trousers. Will clip though, because skirts and their movement with the sim are different

This is my first very own from scratch mesh with many hours of work. Be fair, do not claim as yours.
