I wanted to introduce one of my OCs: Asker Quang! He's a peregryn and came to the palace of dawn court at 26 to become a soldier even though the reason he started training the traditional peregryn fighting style was, that he wanted to learn more about wounds and the body in general to become a better healer. But because Thesan's father was a bit more conservative he had a hard time to get acknowledged as a healer. He's really good at it though, a damn nerd. Besides healing, he spends his free time drawing (anatomical sketches) and training, which he still likes nonetheless. After he finished his studies he took it on himself to write a book about wings and how to heal them (with additional illustrations if course). Regarding that he's the healer with the best grades in the last couple of years, his skills and knowledge comparable only to Thesan himself, they're good friends. The two of them bonded especially over their common learning of the old language (which Thesan had to learn since he is the heir/High Lord and which Asker just wanted to learn because why not (nerd (affectionately but shh don't tell him that))) Anyway, he's also an Enfp, if anyone wants to know

random zayne headcanons that i can't stop thinking about; pt. 2 / xxx

↠ roleplaying. it all starts innocently, with you calling him by his professional title at home. it’s not new for him, after all this is who he is - a well respected doctor who takes pride in his work. but there is something different in the way this word rolls off your tongue, something that doesn’t even get registered in his brain, but makes him feel a slight twitch in his heart.

“dr. zayne, are you tired? wanna go to bed early?” your simple question makes his chest all warm and fuzzy - you’re so precious and so good for him, and he wants to spend every minute with you doing everything and anything. 

“no, but you are. i can see your eyelids fluttering, and you’re yawning for the third time in the past 5 minutes. go to bed” he already knows his reply wouldn’t suffice you - you already wear a small frown on your beautiful face and zayne tries really hard to fight the urge to cover every inch of your skin with his lips. 

“doctor’s order. i will come too, give me a few minutes” and as soon as you leave the living room, zayne rubs his face with hands as if he’s trying to wake up, your intoxicating words are still lingering in his dizzy mind. 

after a while, he grows used to hearing you calling him by his title. he loves you and everything you do and say.

and actually, there are a lot of things he loves about you. one in particular is the way you moan his name when his fingers are moving in a devilish manner against your sweat covered skin, sending electrical shock through your entire body.

“dr. zayne, you feel so good!” your sweet voice sounds like music to him, especially when his name is adorned with your little sobs and chocked moans. he wants to do anything to hear you say it again and again. he needs you to feel all of his love, everything he has to offer laid bare in front of you to take and use. 

“tell me, angel, what is it that you want the most?” his palm cups your cheek as he’s watching you melt into his hand - feverish cheeks and slightly parted mouth letting out small sighs filled with nothing but pure pleasure, your clouded gaze makes him feel drunk; oh how he wants you all to himself, in every possible way, he needs you, he has to have you. his lips are a breath away from yours, slightly brushing your cupid’s bow when he begs you

“tell me, darling, and dr. zayne will take care of you.” 

and you wish you could forever engrave the look on his face when you tell him everything.

“i want you, all of you,” you look into his eyes, your palm covers his hand, gently moving his thumb over your lower lip. “i want your hands, and your mouth,” and you don’t even know if he can hear or understand what you’re saying, your voice is shaking with desire and lust; “i want you to fuck me, dr. zayne. deep and hard,” and ah, you just don’t get to finish the sentence as zayne’s lips find yours in a sloppy kiss, his mean fingers leaving galaxy colored kisses on your hips and thighs.

I genuinely don't think Curly would be as caring for Jimmy as some people depict him in aus where Jimmy gets stuck and burned rather than Curly.

I feel like the realization would truly hit in that moment of what Jimmy did and how bad it was as Curly desperately tries to get him out of the cockpit. He's trying to break in to save Jimmy, but is he? All the thoughts in his head; Jimmy's trying to kill them all, Jimmy's trapped in the cockpit, Jimmy raped Anya, Jimmy's going to die trapped in the cockpit, Jimmy trying to kill them all because of what he did to Anya, and sort of a final Jimmy did this. Is he trying to save him or trying to figure out why? Trying to finally make him take accountability? You can't hold trial for a dead man. Does he want Jimmy to die? Not really, but it'd be easier than figuring out where they go after this. After they drag him out and get his set up in medical and Jimmy refuses to look at anyone but him.

He's the only one who is truly willing to care for Jimmy. I don't think he's keeping him alive for the same reasons, just he can't bring himself to put him down. He wants answers, he wants to be mad. This is the first time he can talk to Jimmy and not have anything spun back at him but he can't get a response. He's never really been able to but for the first time Jimmy actually has to listen and he'll never know if he's actually listening to him this time. It reminds him too much of not understanding Anya. Anya has to care for him and he doesn't want her too, she shouldn't have to but they can't just let him die, can they? Should they? It's easier than hearing him in pain but that's a reminder he did this... even if Curly allowed it to happen.

No one seems to have thoughts on it but him and Anya. They know the reason he crashed the ship but they don't get the logic. Anya does actually, but Curly has to admit he does to. Has to admit he's always known Jimmy's logic behind things, things that need to be "fixed" but he's always taken responsibility and fixed it himself. The first time he really let Jimmy take responsibility and he couldn't, he can't fix anything and Curly know he can't either. He looks at Jimmy and sees every mistake but now he's wondering how many of Jimmy's he's been tacking on to his own. How different are they?

What should he had done to stop it? Maybe this should've happened to him...

Curly doesn't like those thoughts and how they only come when he's stuck with Jimmy, like he's always done to himself. He's way too gentle when he gives Jimmy his pills, too mindful of teeth that always gave him hollow smiles. A tongue that always told half truths, while he held his own. He holds his jaw too kindly and thinks about all the times he's clenched his and smiled for his friends sake. For Jimmy's sake. Jimmy still swallows the pills and struggles, whines like it's not his fault.

He hoped it hurt.

And he's a little scared that he's a little too okay thinking that.

tbh, one of the things I can't wait to be over with this campaign is the idea that any real person's engagement with feminism is somehow tethered to whether or not/how much they like imogen and laudna (and additionally, having the concept of lesbophobia attached to whether you enjoy the ship between them). i feel like every single time there's been a word of criticism about their behavior or development, it's immediately been met with a cry (in certain circles) that anyone being critical isn't feminist and doesn't support sapphic relationships, which has been a WILD experience on my end as a stan blog for a female character who has notable sapphic ships. but none of that has mattered in the wake of these two SPECIFIC characters. like they're the linchpins of feminism and all sapphics around the world, and to dislike or even just be mildly critical of them proves you have disavowed your rights to be a feminist. or queer yourself. if i am eager for ANYTHING to be over, it is that
