Mo Dao Zu Shi at an Amusement Park

Wei Wuxian:

Would have the time of his life on a roller coaster.

Totally teases anyone scared

He would cheer the whole time through the midst of all the screams

Even if he shouldn't have eaten before getting on one, he'd cheer even if he had to pause to throw up in a trash can... still one hand raised in the air while he does it

Can have fun on any ride, but really likes the fastest, scariest ones

Lan Wangji:

Straight-faced the whole time, but sometimes his eyes widen, or he feels the need to grip the safety bar of the ride a little tighter.

Only someone as close to him or as observant as Lan Xichen or Wei Wuxian would notice the slight change in his demeanor.

He'd enjoy the softer rides, or even the stalls most

Jiang Cheng:

A bit scared but trying not to vomit, so he can't be made fun of

Definitely not cheering the whole time, or at all

Some rides are more fun for him than others

If it's too slow of a ride it almost feels mocking

If it's too fast though, it's also not very fun.. it'll just turn his stomach.

He likes a good middle ground

Jiang Yanli:

Very "oh my" about it, but enjoys the ride and smiles the whole time, just making sure everyone is okay afterward-- not sure she's ever seen Jiang Cheng such a shade- !

She'd bring extra water, money, sun screen, snacks-- anything that anyone could possibly need, as the mom friend.

She's normally very composed, but maybe on one of those drops of terror machines she'd let out a yelp as it dropped and all her hair flew up.

She'd cover her mouth in surprise at herself, and clench her eyes shut during it

She may stumble a bit off of that ride.. everyone will greet her with water.

Jin Ling:

Definitely throwing up after putting on such a big show of wanting to ride the roller coaster

Totally sweating the whole time and screaming his lungs out

Needs a break but is trying to keep up with everyone else

Just doesn't wanna be left out

Some of the stall games are frustrating too

The haunted house is so lame... until he's in Lan Jingyi's arms, and they're both terrified of the chainsaw man

Wen Ning:

Throwing up before and after the ride,,, he didn't really want to do this...

Would enjoy trying different foods at the stalls, at least

Would really enjoy if there are performances and he can sit down and rest while watching them

Rest centers were made for him

Would search through the gift shop for Wen Qing and his friends

Lan Xichen:

Very good at playing it cool on the coaster, though not as well as Lan Wangji

Probably won't be heard screaming at the top of his lungs, but gasps would escape him--

Enjoys watching over the group the most

Peruses the gift shop and makes sure no one feels left out, getting everyone a little trinket of their own

Nie Huaisang:

At least pretending to be scared so someone consoles him

Putting on a big show of crying, maybe even some actual tears

He'd cling to the person next to him on the ride

Actually pretty good at the stall games

He could win one if he really puts his mind to it

When it gets too hot he dislikes it, and he'll fan himself and go rest, watching the entertainers

Wen Qing:

Like Jiang Yanli, she would bring extra everything-- but for Wen Ning, specifically

Of course, if anyone else needs something, she can share...

She's not getting on a roller coaster

Although she's practically unfazed by most rides, she'll still need to rest-- especially if it's hot

She'd enjoy resting with Wen Ning, and making sure he's okay

The gang at an amusement park because I went to Calway park recently

Darry: Did his best to keep track of everyone but gave up eventually.

Went on the scariest rides possible and dragged pony along with him

Made sure everyone ate real food at least once throughout the day

He actually had a lot of fun

His favourite ride was the rollercoaster

Soda: Him and Steve are way too much junk food

Constantly tried to talk to the pretty girls he saw

Darry made him go on the swing ride and then he ditched Darry because he didn't want to do anything like that again

He loved the bumper cars

Pony: He loved the scary rides which is why he stuck with Darry the whole time

He was the one who begged to go to the amusement park in the first place

He did throw up once after a really spinny ride and Darry made him sit down for 10 minutes and drink water

He loved the Ferris wheel because he could see the landscape beyond

Dally: He didn't want to go in the first place but Johnny convinced him to go

He actually enjoyed himself once he realized he could "accidentally" knock over small children

He bought cotton candy but refused to share with anyone except Johnny

Bro refused to go on most of the rides because he thought they were stupid

He did go on the bumper cars because he could ram into children and also the gang convinced him he should do something other than just the rollercoasters

Two-bit: Went on almost every ride

He got like 4 corndogs

He had so much fun, he loves going to amusement parks

His favourite was the log ride

There was a maze and he got lost for like 15-20 minutes

Johnny: Was low-key scared of going on the Swings and Rollercoaster but ending up absolutely loving them

He stuck by someone's side the entire time, usually Pony or Dally

He liked the carousel the best but will never admit that. If asked he will say rollercoaster but they all know he's lying

Steve: He loved playing the carnival games and definitely won a few prizes and gave them to Soda

He made Soda walk through the haunted house with him so many times so that he could look at absolutely everything in there

He didn't want to ruin his hair going on any of the water rides but gave in eventually (his hair was ruined but he had fun)

Headcannon that Bruce Wayne takes the Justice League to an amusement park and then never does that Shit™ ever again.

They all go in civilian identities, but since some of them (i.e. Bruce and Oliver ) are recognizable outside of costume, they have to wear disguises anyway. (I’m imaging the classic baseball cap and sunglasses, 2016 MCU-core). Obviously this does nothing but make people even more suspicious. Bruce and Ollie spend half a hour in the men’s bathroom trying to dodge the paparazzi—rumors quickly emerge that they’re hooking up. It’s a PR disaster.

But everything else is a disaster too.

Arthur drops $300 dollars trying to win prize goldfish so he can release it back into the ocean. (He loses every time and eventually used the power of the Sea or something and caused a miniature tsunami—the minimum wage worker behind the counter is not impressed.)

Clark and Barry somehow end up in a hot dog eating contest—Barry wins, Clark gets fourth, but when they get back to the Watchtower both of them spend a solid ten minutes throwing up.

Dinah and Diana get competitive and try to see how many times they can go on the park’s fastest roller coaster in a row. (The answer is 14, by the way.)

Hal, John, Kyle, and Jessica go to play laser tag but get their asses handed to them a bunch of twenty-somethings there for a bachelorette party. (Jessica switched sides halfway into the round and is now a member of the wedding party + Kyle gets a high heel to the face somehow and has to go the ER.)

Martian Manhunter waits in line to buy funnel cake but end up getting detained by amusement park cops because Hal looks suspiciously like the guy who tried to cut the line at the spaceship-themed ride. (He thought it actually went to space, Cyborg had to pay 50 bucks to bail him out.)

When all’s said and done, Bruce is out a couple thousand dollars and has to hire an entire new press team. (His all quit, they couldn’t handle working with Oliver’s press people.) But at least they did team bonding, right?

I kinda really wanted to read Jason and reader being best friends, and reader and Jason going to an amusement park with other friends. Whether friends and bestie/reader know about Jason's identity as Red Hood is up to you.

Reader wants to go to the haunted house attraction, but since they're easily frightened, they always avoid going on one. But they really want to have the experience someday, because even though it's scary, other people seem to have fun.

Maybe Jason sees that and decides to drag Reader and their friends inside, and they all have a grand time, because Jason is scarier than the actors. 😆

The scars on his face and arms had slowly started to fade, but they were still there. It showcased what Jason Todd, your best friend had, been through.

He had died and then was reborn, shocking you especially. And later on, you found out about his identity as Red Hood. But that didn't matter. Today is supposed to be a fun day full of adventure and excitement.

The sun hit Jason's face, causing him to blink rapidly. "Idiot," you muttered. He rolled his eyes playfully. "Whatever," he said, digging into your bag of popcorn while your friends laughed.

You and the others continued to stroll around the amusement park. As you and your friends went deeper into the park, you noticed a giant medieval-themed haunted house with a sign that read, "FREE FOR TWO HOURS!"

You wanted to go. But it looked terrifying. There was a man dressed up as Dracula taking pictures with tourists outside the haunted house. He looked terrifying.

You gulped as you tried to lead Jason and your friends away from it. But then Jason uttered the most jaw-dropping words ever. "Hey, there's a haunted house! Let's go," Jason said. He grabbed your hand and led you and the others right to it.

Jason opened the door and motioned for you and your friends to go. "Scared, Todd?" you challenged. "We'll see." He winked and went in after you.

The interior of the haunted house was scarier than the exterior. There were cobwebs everywhere. It was dark, and there was only one way. Straight.

There was a curtain. Jason, being the brave soul he was, slid the curtain. Someone dressed up as a skeleton jumped up and screamed in Jason's face.

Jason stared at the "skeleton," totally confused, before chuckling. "Funny," he said. The "skeleton" gulped. Jason pushed past the skeleton, venturing further into the haunted house. You and the rest of your friends followed behind him; some were already terrified but also trying not to laugh.

As you, Jason, and the others ventured further, the walls became more closed in, making you feel trapped. You heard a creak and gasped. The lights started flickering. Jason laughed.

"A little trick. I bet a fake spider or a vampire will pop out any second now!" Jason declared, running a hand through his hair. You and the others murmured "okays" and "whatevers."

And sure enough, when Jason turned a corner, you heard a scream and rushed in front. Jason stood there, laughing as the man dressed as a zombie fumbled to get up, and he looked terrified of Jason. Soon, you and the others burst into fits of laughter.

So yea. I've been at Port Aventura for the last 3 days and I thought... TGCF characters at amusement parks headcanons >:3

- Xie Lian is definitely the type to always lose items in rollercoster. Making him quite sad sometimes. It can go from a necklace to a water bottle he forgot he had in his pocket? I feel like Xie Lian would enjoy all types of attractions. Especially if he's with his friends or partner.

- I feel like Hua Cheng would be the rich friend. Always buying fast pass for the group. Making sure everyone can do what they want (especially Xie Lian). And mostly know all the attractions that could be enjoyable by each of the groups thanks to Yin Yu's help in planning the trip, and being sure of what everyone can or can't do. + he loves thrill rides.

- He Xuan clearly enjoys amusement parks, especially those with country themes... for all types of foods, deserts, and mostly buffet. Despite most of them being low quality. He'll always rant at how expensive most of the food is. He also loves hearing the scream of does doing thrill rides. Looking at them while eating.

- Shi Qingxuan would love amusement parks but especially mixed with other events? Like Christmas or Halloween. To see all the actors, take pictures and have fun. They would take aesthetic pictures of food. Meanwhile, He Xuan eat in the background.

- Feng Xin would always be in a competition with Mu Qing, trying to show he can do more thrill rides than the other. But they would both end up mostly sick. So they would go chill together after. And maybe talk about the goods and bads of the rides... until Xie Lian would appear, and they banter would start again.

- Ling Wen would be the savior when the group would go in amusement parks in other countries. Becoming the personal translator of the group. She would mostly enjoy the time outside. Going to the pretty areas of the amusement parks. And look at parades while drinking coffee.

- Qi Rong would go to the kids' area and do all the attractions with Gu Zi. The duo runs from one side to another. Leaving Lan Qianqiu exhausted after half a day of running after them.

My brain start to die with the exhaustion so I'll stop here an maybe keep going if I have the strength tomorrow- if some of you have other headcanon please share 👀

i'm going to thorpe park on friday so (naturally) here are my hcs for the foxes at a theme park:

they absolutely go to a theme park together sometime shortly before the girls graduate. wymack and abby were invited to join them, but they decided to stay behind for a much-needed day of peace.

HCs for each character:

allison treats everyone to fast-track passes to skip the long queues. what do you mean they aren't essential??? she's never been to a theme park without them. she also is number one hater of those couples in the queue who are doing WAY too much PDA. she refuses to go on any rides with water involved because she doesn't like getting her hair wet. she also ends up being 'in charge' as such- she's the one who always decides what ride they're going on next.

neil is such an adrenaline junkie: there isn't a single ride he won't go on, and he loves every single minute of their day, from the overpriced food to the queues (albeit short ones- thanks allison). guy after my own heart fr <33

andrew will go on most things, but anything too high is obviously a no (for example stealth at thorpe park which is 62m high). ofc only neil knows that andrew is afraid of heights, but the others don't comment when he stays behind to smoke rather than getting on the next ride.

kevin also refuses to go on any water rides. he gets stopped by a few people who recognise him but it doesn't really bother him. if they didn't have fast-track passes he would be the WORST complainer about the wait times

dan and matt are lowkey that couple in theme park queues, and they both will get on anything

aaron gets teased by the others for screaming like a girl. multiple times throughout the day, he gets his height measured by staff in the queue to check he's tall enough for the ride (damn kevin and matt for making him look even shorter by comparison). he also hates the PDA couples but if he went with katelyn they would totally be one of them

nicky is incapable of going through the exit of a ride without finding their photo on the screen first. and yes he absolutely does buy at least one of them to go on the photo wall in the lounge back at the court. fuck their ridiculous prices, he also has to get a couple of souvenirs because if you don't want one of those shitty little ride-themed water bottles then you must just hate fun (according to him anyway)

renee is calm and collected as always, but she screams a lot on all the rides because that makes it more fun

extra stuff

none of the boys thought to bring a bag, so they end up constantly asking renee to let them put stuff in her bag. renee does and says she doesn't mind, but allison tells her not to let them because how else are they going to learn to bring one next time???

nicky brings way too much stuff (which then also goes in renee's bag). someone tell him you do NOT need to bring a big bottle of sun cream and two pairs of sunglasses your ass is not going to use them

neil sometimes hesitates when he sees andrew hang back when he doesn't want to go on a ride. once or twice, he chooses to stay back and wait with andrew for the others to be done, but all it takes is a look andrew's way to understand that andrew doesn't mind waiting on his own at all (but he loves neil's quiet company those times neil stays behind with him)

Magnus Bane versus the various weaknesses I like to assign to him, continued

Malec with kids (Madzie and Max?) at an amusement park. Alec is completely on board with taking the two kids on any of the thrill rides the park has to offer. Compared to the stunts he does in training and on missions, the loops and falls are nothing (and actually quite fun when enjoyed outside of a fight.) Magnus on the other hand, quickly realizes that he can't handle the high speed up and down and loops and free falls as well as his companions. The High Warlock getting motion sick. It's a good thing Ragnor and Raphael aren't there to see it. They would never let him live this down.

Trains are usually a nightmare as well. There is that one, (I think from Japan?) that runs so smoothly that you can balance a nickel. But that's the only exception.

Really, Magnus probably should have been able to foresee that his stomach wouldn't react kindly to the wild rides, but Alec's loving care afterwards makes up for feeling so nauseous and faint.

MY DUDE I'VE BEEN THINKING ABOUT LULU WORLD

Like, it's already been established that Lucifer made Lu Lu World, but he's also been off doing his own depressed thing for a while, so I've always wondered when he made it.

I headcanon that he made Lu Lu World after Charlie was born as somewhere fun and exciting to take her.

Of course, all of demonkind were welcome to go there too, as it is an amusement park, but it was mostly for Charlie's sake. I like to think that Charlie loves going to Lu Lu World. She has such good memories there, and I 100% took Vaggie there on one of their first dates.

And I would love Lucifer taking the gang to Lu Lu World 🤩LOL I can imagine him winning Alastor one of those cheap game prizes, and Alastor's all like "ha! Is that the best you can do?" Then he goes and wins Lucifer an even bigger prize.

Salty, Lucifer takes him up on the challenge and wins him two prizes. And then it just escalates into this battle of who can win the other the most cheap, stuffed animals. They've both got such egos, and neither of them are backing down. It strange. It's deranged. It's surreally entertaining to everyone watching.

(Lucifer wins when he wins Alastor a Furby, but he doesn't know about Alastor's Furby obsession, so he's so confused when Alastor's face lights the fuck up when he hands him this fucked up, creepy little monster thing with soulless dead eyes. Then again, he should've known Alastor likes fluffy little freaks. Niffty is his favorite, after all.)

Modern AU

My headcannon is obviously that Katniss is scared to death of roller coasters but don't know until she go to one.

So she and Peeta go to an amusement park after school. It's Katniss's first time in one. They're not even dating yet.

They walk around, without the courage to hold hands yet. Share a hotdog.

And then they go on the ferris wheel and share a shy kiss. The two are a little embarrassed about it.

To break the ice, Peeta suggests going on a roller coaster and Katniss accepts.

At first she even thinks it's fun, but then it gets too fast, and come the loops, and hard drops. She starts to feel terrified and grabs Peeta's arm and puts her head on his shoulder as he laughs.

She gets angry thinking he was making fun of her. And hides behind the carousel where no one is around. Peeta goes after her and apologizes.

They are alone and so close. Katniss's lips tremble, she still mad but Peeta looks so adorable. She pulls him and he kisses her against the wall. Hearts racing and intense kisses.

They stop after a while. Peeta wipes his mouth and Katniss fixes her hair.

"You know Katniss... we could go in the bumper cars"

She accepts.

i have a headcanon that all of cartman’s “first times” were with butters: first kiss, first sexual contact (as teens), first date attempts. because they both trusted each other and they both had sexuality and identity crisis, so they kinda… experimented with each other.

and even though kyle laughs when he just learns this fact of cartman’s life, after he finally starts dating cartman he can’t help but feel these jealousy and envy when eric mentions that “he has already tried that with butters”, and he’s very likely to subconsciously start disliking butters a little, because he just can’t let go of this thought of cartman and butters kissing or having an awkward date or something.

i think my eggman never really recovered from the events of unleashed actually. he was already crazy, but when you've plummeted to the earth's core and the only thing you can remember thinking about is killing that god forsaken hedgehog once and for all -- even if it was dark gaia's presence that amplified his emotions in the moment, you can't just go back to being "normal" after that. you can't glue a broken mirror back together and expect your reflection to not have cracks.

I have gotten especially attached to a certain bastard cowboy, and recently, I decided it was high time to jot down some (read: multiple pages worth of) headcanons about him and the Wild Ones in general because I was bored
