Hello, I bring you this meme because I hate reposters and people who share unsourced art.
And if you want to contribute to the sourcers team, I really recommend this addon. (For Firefox, idk if it's available for other browsers)
That's it.

Scammers pretending to be Palestinian v6
(Scammers pretending to be Palestinian v6)
This guide is meant to inform you on some ways to differentiate legitimate fundraisers from those created by scammers who have been impersonating Palestinians for several months now. While originally I tried to list the scam blogs in these posts, Im just making this now a general overall method to spot scams.
Disclaimer: This guide is not to say all Palestine based asks are from bots or a scammer. Rather, it is meant to explain the reasoning why something is legitimate or not. Do not use this guide as an excuse to claim every single Palestine fundraiser is a scam.
TL;DR: In the span of you saying someone’s bot, you could be using tumblr search instead of telling me your reporting every ask you get as a scam without looking at the account.
One of the first things to keep in mind is that most asks you get will come from accounts who check the notes of a post. Meaning they saw you and decided to send you the ask or DM to share their fundraising post. This is not bot behavior and often is done by those is unfortunate situations that desperately need funding and as a result is a common occurrence across the internet. If this bothers you, it is suggested to turn off your askbox or limit DMs to mutuals instead of the posting in the scam tag that every ask you get is from a scammer when it’s a gfm account that has been vetted by a well known blog that may even be on a list of verified fundraisers if you bothered to look it up.
Secondly, while originally a non-gfm fundraiser may have been suspicious (such as PayPal or gogetfunding) it has since been decided and clarified that such fundraisers are now used when a gfm is shut down unexpectedly and the original creator informs the donors that they will need to resend it their support to a new fundraiser. If you do not see any mention of a previous gfm in a PayPal/gogetfunding post there is a possibility that searching parts of the post may show that the content is from someone else and the source may still be active with no mention of tumblr itself indicating the tumblr post is impersonating the real gfm.
Thirdly, due to language barriers legitimate accounts may use asks from other vetted fundraiser blogs with only minor edits. While this isn’t something I’d suggest doing, it’s understandable the situation unfortunately relies on copying someone else’s words to ask for support. However, please don’t reuse the post content unless you were given permission or are related to the original fundraiser such as being a family member. Images may be borrowed from other accounts, though they may be stolen from offsite places. This is not full proof of a scam, as it’s suggested to search around for proof of who originally posted the images. Please understand not everyone is natively an English speaker and Google translate isn’t always accurate. Some may reuse someone else’s posts unaware that it’s suspicious behavior.
Fourthly, most scam accounts have reused a certain style of ask often mentioning needing insulin (Humalog) for a relative, having nose freezes due to asthma, being down to their last pen and asking for “nt much”, or referring to their family being in the ruins of a church. The frequency of these asks is so common searching them in tumblr search should bring up plenty of posts. Additionally, the names used by these accounts generally appear across multiple blogs that have been seen running different kinds of scams later on. A majority of their posts are almost always stolen off a real fundraiser they don’t link to.
Fifthly, in regards to verification it is very easy to search a username and see who vetted an account. Scammers will often say they’re verified but don’t list who or even paste a username that has never existed at all when you go to check. If asked about it, they generally will opt to block you without responding. There are people who will take time out of their day to ensure someone’s legitimate just be patient.
Lastly, don’t just assume every Palestinian gfm is a scam and stop acting like sharing a scam is fine because you don’t want to accidentally ignore someone in need. If you regularly see the posts from legitimate blogs and share them you would eventually be able to tell the day old private PayPal account asking for insulin funds is suspiciously asking for a low amount of funds compared to everyone else.
Please read this post for other info;
If I’ve missed anything, please let me know.

Queer League of Legends Champions (with explanations) - Part II
Check out Part I
Confirmed Pansexuals – Twisted Fate
Twisted Fate was always speculated to be part of the LGBTQ+ community due to his, uh, flamboyancy. The sentiment that he felt something more for Graves was always there, portrayed in their stories through regret, friendship, and loyalty. The Boys and Bombolini color story officially confirmed him as queer, making TFGraves the faces of Pride 2022. This year, he was also seen with the pansexual flag in official pride art, with Riot finally labeling him. It's worth noticing a cute detail (that I doubt was intentional) where his card deck's colors form the colors of his flag!
Confirmed Queers – Ahri, Ekko, Evelynn, Ezreal, Kayn, Nidalee, Renata Glasc, Samira, Taric, Udyr
Ok, this is a long category. Here we have every champion we know for sure is queer, either through external confirmation (Ekko, Ezreal, Kayn, Renata Glasc, Taric), in-game dialogue (Nidalee, Samira, Udyr), or basic lore (Ahri, Evelynn). Let's start with the first group.
Throughout the first half of 2020, Riot released multiple chapters of a Pulsifire color story focused on Ezreal. It explored his relationships with numerous champions of the universe, but especially Ekko. The subtext was strong in this one, and the writer later took to Twitter to talk about how tough it was to have queer stories be censored when working for IPs, not so subtly mentioning Ezreal and Ekko after doing so. Even though Riot might not have agreed with making the Ezko relationship undeniably romantic, their love for one another is still an important part of the story, not to mention that it was the creator's intended vision to begin with.
Renata Glasc was confirmed as sapphic by one of her creators when sharing concept art of her design. Checking the link to the original post, they seem to have deleted the excerpt that mentions it, but people took screenshots before they edited it, most likely because of Riot. Taric, on the other hand, has been speculated to be queer since forever, although the motives are not that pure. Many people saw this hairless, beautiful man that likes jewels and was like, "Huh, that sounds kinda gay," which was the common dudebro mentality of the fandom at the time of his release that caused a lot of homophobia within the player base (more than usual). They weren't wrong, seeing as Riot did include Taric in official 2023 pride art, but he was not seen wearing or holding any flags. After all, it would make sense that he likes everything—and everyone—beautiful. But either way, both Taric and Renata are non-specified queers.
Shieda Kayn is a weirder case. I thought a lot about whether I should even include him in this category at all. There are many accounts of people affirming one of Kayn's writers pictured him as having fluid sexuality, but since then, wherever it was posted, it's gone now. I do believe it since we can still find Reddit threads on the subject, but the original source is nowhere to be found. I still decided to put him here, but take it with a grain of salt.
Moving on to our next category, we have Nidalee, Samira, and Udyr. Samira flirts more than once with Elegant Edge in Legends of Runeterra, and her attraction for her is not subtle. As far as I'm aware, she's never expressed interest in men, but we can't say for sure whether she's bi, pan, or gay. Nidalee and Udyr have had speculated romantic interests in other champions for a while now. Nidalee with Neeko, Udyr with Lee Sin. Nidalee and Neeko's story was first portrayed as one-sided, with Neeko rejected by her friend, prompting them to part ways. On the other hand, the addition of both champions to Legends of Runeterra explored their relationship once again, with the two reuniting and Nidalee finally realizing she did love Neeko and simply didn't know how to deal with it all those years ago. A love song, Shine On, even accompanied the update, which narrates their story beautifully. They have many romantic voice lines now, both in LoR and League.
With Udyr's rework, people started realizing he digs Lee Sin through voice lines expressing how he misses his "old friend" and that he's "loved twice, left twice" (which applies to his relationship with Lee Sin). Besides, his design includes memorabilia he exchanged with Lee Sin when they parted ways. It is also important to mention he's had a wife before, so he swings both ways. I think the context gives more than enough clues for us to safely say Udyr is queer.
Ahri and Evelynn are spirits/demons that prey on their victims (regardless of gender) through charm and seduction. Ahri is essentially a succubus, and Evelynn is the Demon of Agony, with desire and lust being important parts of their characters. It is also worth noting that Evelynn is genderfluid/agender, taking the form of anyone (or anything) that might lure her victims. So their lore essentially confirms them as not straight and not cis (on Evelynn's case, at least).

edward art's "i am the creator" meditation
in this post, i wanted to share with you one of the meditations from edward art's spiritual series. this meditation is once again all about "feeling". now, edward distinguishes between "understanding something intellectually" and "feeling as a deep level of knowing" — and this meditation shall help you to realise that you are indeed the creator of life!
here is the link to the original source !
steps
1 ⋮ lay down or sit up on a chair. just relax.
2 ⋮ now for this meditation i want you to close your eyes. just sit with your eyes closed for a minute. just see the blackness. now i want you to pretend that the outer-world does not exist anymore. ALL you have is your awareness and this blackness. keep repeating something like this: "the outer-world no longer exist. i am just here now." this means there is nothing to achieve or get or be afraid of in the outer-world because it does not exist.
3 ⋮ now that you starting to feel yourself to only exist in your mind. start to tell yourself that this is your home. your mind is your home. home meaning it is SAFE. start to FEEL you are completely and entirely safe in your mind. there is absolutely NOTHING to fear, ONLY what fearful things you create. start to FEEL that you are the CREATOR in your mind. but just FEEL this and keep sitting in the blackness. FEEL and repeat this: "there is nothing to fear in here. i can have what i want in here." in here, simply meaning your mind.
4 ⋮ you by now, should start feeling safer and safer. you might want to fear the outside, but simply remind yourself it does not exist. now, start to FEEL the possibility of what you can be and have. IF IT WAS SIMPLY YOUR AWARENESS AND YOUR MIND, WHAT WOULD YOU DO? i hope you can by now see and feel where i am getting at. if the outer-world did not exist at all, and it was just you and your mind, wouldn't you feel free to do anything and have anything? you might start to feel excitement. maybe the fears are starting to melt away and are starting to be replaced with safety.
5 ⋮ now that you are starting to feel yourself to only exist in your mind. start to see yourself where you want to be. become a king, or have your desire. it does not matter, it is your creation. you have no rules here. there are no rules in your mind. no consequences because the only consequences you have are the ones your create! if you want to FEEL that nobody can hurt you, then they can't! if you want to feel that you no longer have to fear this or that, you don't have to! If you want to feel that everyone loves you, you can! it is all yours in your mind! the outer-world does not exist.
6 ⋮ now that the FEELING of safety, freedom and fulfillment of your desires start to stir up in you, INTENSIFY them! FEEL them and then raise up it. FEEL deeper. FEEL the safety deeper and deeper, and then the freedom deeper and deeper. keep intensifying it until it overcomes you. the key to do this is to remember there is NOTHING to fear if you intensify it! when you intensify it and start fearing, you will see how limiting and useless fear is. it stops you from FEELING deeper. you say you deserve the upmost love? then FEEL that you do on a DEEP DEEP level.
7 ⋮ this mediation is to show you that when you imagine, you should imagine as though the outer-world and all its limitations does not matter. YOU ARE THE CREATOR. you might struggle to feel these things but it is only because you are afraid to imagine what you truly want. once you let go that fear, then you will see what i am saying. you will feel the freedom that was there all along. this is what changes "self." neville would always "turn his back on the senses." he would completely ignore the world, as though is never even existed and he would fall sound asleep in his MIND.
with love, ella.

⋆˖⁺‧₊☆ no more days to waste. // Autumn Drop Day 1 ☆₊‧⁺˖⋆

Hi all! Autumn has come, and this is a cc creation season for me, so I was very happy to find myself doing it again after a long pause. That's why I decided to dedicate some time this October to post random things I've made, edited or converted recently. Despite various setbacks, it's been lots of fun!
The first thing I wanna share is what made me wanna get into making cc again in the first place. Having a teenage boy as your sim story protagonist can be tough sometimes with how limited the wardrobe options get, and it made me realize that there really aren't very many casual jean shorts with a sporty type of shoe available for teens, to the point where I've tried multiple options but none of them were the specific type of outfit I was looking for. Despite my fear of clothing meshing, out of sheer rage and desperation I turned to shoeswapping, and apparently it's quite a simple task! That's how these babies were born. These include work of many talented creators, detailed information on which you can find down below. I hope these will be as useful to somebody as they are to me!
There turned out to be 15 shorts swatches and 15 shoe swatches that I could extract from the original creations, so I combined those to my taste. Those textures are separate in the files so if anyone with basic SimPE knowledge wants to swap some colors around, it's supposed to be quite easy.
Credits: @mdpthatsme for the original 4t2 Chino Shorts mesh, @rented-space for the age conversions, @moocha-muses for the recolors, @simsontherope for the textures; solistair for the original TS4 High Tops shoes edit, SkittlesSims for the 4t2 conversion of those and some of the recolors, @mossylane for some of the recolors; deedee-sims because I used their Vans shoeswap as the base for my files; wow this is a really long list but the shorts and shoes are just that good; anyway as always thanks to this source for the graphics in the post

ATTENTION: To anyone who uses my breed templates
It has come to my attention that Jocelyn (known as maplewood-estate, cath-creative-corner, jocelynxflores, eqsims, EquestrianEssentials and several other alts) of the Equiliberty Discord server has uploaded my breed template files to her server without my knowledge or consent. This is a problem for two reasons:
One.
I specifically state in my TOS not to re-upload my work anywhere else, as it is hosted on Simfileshare, with backup copies on my google drive in the event Simfileshare goes down. I do not mind if my work is privately shared between friends (especially through imports etc) or in small groups, but I do mind when someone re-uploads the files somewhere themselves without credit or a direct link to my blog. That this person did this doesn't actually surprise me, as she is well known within the TS4 community for stealing cc from other creators, removing their names/IDs from the file, and refusing to give credit where credit is due. I formally requested that she remove my files from her server, which she refused to do. I was also accused of being a bully for pointing out this theft and for asking that the files be taken down.
Two.
Earlier today, it came to my attention that one of my breed templates - the Thoroughbred breed template - was corrupting save files. Upon further investigation with the affected person, it was revealed to me that they downloaded this corrupted template not from my simfileshare link, but from the Equiliberty discord server. None of the templates from the direct download from simfileshare have this issue, which leads me to believe that whatever copies got uploaded to that server, they were corrupted. I do not know if this corruption was intentional or not. It is important to always download my files (or files from any creator, really), directly from the source, as those files will always be the most up-to-date versions and also guaranteed not to be corrupted. If you wish to share cc to a wider audience (like a server), simply link to the relevant post on my blog or simfileshare page. This ensures that other people can also access the most up-to-date version, as well as discover more of my work.
Unfortunately, because Jocelyn reacted with hostility to my request, I was unable to explain the very good reason why I was asking that my work be taken down and replaced with links. This entire issue could have been avoided had my Terms of Service been followed, as the original upload was not corrupted at all. Unfortunately, because of this, a handful of people lost hours of hard work, which makes me incredibly sad. Obviously, as a creator, there really isn't anything I can do if my TOS are violated beyond blocking known violators, but I would like to think that observing any creator's TOS is a simple sign of respect. Going forward, I will continue to share my breed templates through this blog. I am also certain they will continue to be stolen, but there is little I can do about that. All I ask is that people remember that the safest files will always be those downloaded directly from the content creator's page, and that anyone who reuploads my files elsewhere instead of directly linking to my blog is violating my TOS and also possibly sharing corrupted files with you. Be aware and be safe!

Hi. I’ve been following you for a while and I really appreciate all the OFMD gifs you make and how you add really good image descriptions. I’m pretty bad at social cues and I wanted to know if you have tips for how to thank gif makers? Do you have advice for how to word the thank you without accidentally sounding weird or rude? Is it OK for someone to thank a gif maker in their ask box if the asker doesn’t follow the gif maker? Any sort of advice like that would be appreciated, or sample scripts that are socially acceptable to send. I know gif makers work really hard and I want to say thanks without accidentally breaking unspoken social rules I don’t know about and I felt safest asking you. I hope that’s OK. Thank you very much.
hi anon 💗 first of all this is such a lovely message and sentiment, thank you 🥹 i'd say you're pretty well on your way already!
i think every gif maker i know would LOVE getting a thank you message! as you say it is hard work, and having that acknowledged will always be appreciated 💗 (no matter if you follow them or not)
here is my specific advice on how to thank gif makers:
reblog! we share the gifs we make because we want to share our love for the show/movie/actor/etc. with other people, and by reblogging, you help us do that. adding something nice in the tags, whether it's something like "this is gorgeous!" or "thank you for giffing this moment, op!", compliments on the coloring (like "love the coloring"/"wow you did such a good job brightening this dark scene!"/"these look so crisp/sharp!"), or commentary on what the gifs show (like "he looks so sad, i wanna give him a hug"/"this scene is so funny/heartbreaking/sweet"/"i never noticed this detail before"), or simply emojis (any combinations of 💖, 🫠, 🥹, 🥺, 😭, 😍 or whatever the gif makes you feel), any kind of reaction like that will be very much appreciated - for me, it's the highlight of making and sharing gifs!
as for sending an ask, i think any kind of thank you message would make gif makers extremely happy 🥹 here are some sample sentences - any variation and combination of these would be lovely to receive, i think (some ideas/options in [brackets]): "i love seeing your gifs on my dash" "thank you for [creating/posting/sharing] your gifs, they [bring so much joy/always make me happy to see]" "i love your coloring, it's so [warm/vibrant/gorgeous/bright and sharp/colorful]" "thank you for giffing [character/person/show], i really appreciate seeing gifs of [that/them]" "thank you for adding [alt text/image descriptions] to your gifs, it helps a lot!" "i really admire how [fast/talented/creative] you are at giffing" ok these are just a few ideas but i hope it's helpful! 💗
this is not a direct way of thanking gif makers (as it should be a given), but i wanna add it because it's important to me: give credit if you share our gifs in other ways than reblogging the original post. please please please do not repost/crosspost gifs without credit. if a gif maker doesn't want their gifs reposted/crossposted at all, please respect it. most, like me, will be fine with it if you credit properly. here are some ways to do that: if you want to use a gif in your own post on tumblr, you can use the Add GIF function, which automatically adds credit (and we get a lil notification), or tag the creator and/or link the original gifset in the post (e.g. "gif by @bizarrelittlemew"). if you want to post a gif to another platform, e.g. twitter, these are some examples on how to give credit: "gif by @/bizarrelittlemew on tumblr", "📸: @/bizarrelittlemew", "gif by @[twitter handle]", "gif source: [link]" and variations of these, written either in the post itself or in a reply right below. not only in the ALT text (as that is for, well, ALT text) and not by making a general note on your profile that "gifs are not my own"/"the gifs i post are from tumblr" or similar (as this won't be evident from the post itself and doesn't credit the gif maker). ok that got a bit long but hopefully it makes sense!
also, if a gifset inspires you to write meta or make your own post about what the gifset depicts, we'd also be very happy if you linked it (like "this gifset reminded me of... / made me think about...") OR simply add it in a reblog of the gifset! the exception (for me, others may feel differently) is if the meta/comment "disagrees" with the gifset, like if the gifset shows "[character] being considerate" and the comment is something like "actually, i don't think this is [character] being considerate, i think they're manipulative". then making a separate post would be more welcome (i'd personally still appreciate a link to the gifset if you were inspired by it).
something that would be rude (since you ask how to avoid that) would be somehow criticizing the gifset in the comments/tags/replies, like disagreeing with the composition (e.g. "i don't think gif number X fits with this theme"), or being negative about the editing/giving unsolicited advice (e.g. "wish these gifs were brighter/sharper" or "hey op you should make your gifs slower/faster"), or talking about how you dislike the show/movie/characters (because the gif maker will see your tags/comments and they probably made the gifs out of love for the thing). as long as you avoid that, you should be fine! 💖
once again thank you for this lovely ask and for wanting to show your appreciation for gif makers 💗
#asks#Anonymous#gifs#gif making#gif makers#sorry for the super long post but i wanted to be thorough for such a lovely ask!! <3

So in one post you’re ranting about people on Twitter stealing jokes and in another you’re reposting other people’s art….
I think you have a deep misunderstanding of the problem.
There is content creation... Someone makes a thing.
There is content curation... Someone shares a thing someone else made.
There is attribution... Someone credits the creator of the content.
There is theft... Someone takes credit for content they did not make.
I love content creation. Artists are great.
I love content curation. There is way too much content on the internet and without people sorting through it and finding the best stuff, we would all go nuts looking at all the bad stuff just to find a few hidden gems. When I was doing this as a job and when I wasn't creating content, I used to go through about a thousand images per day just to find 5 to post on my blog. It's actually a lot of work.
I love attribution. One of the main ways I grew my following was by content curators sharing my work and crediting me.
People like the thing. They see who made it. They follow that creator.
I do not like theft. Sometimes you can't find a source for something. I understand that happens and I struggle with that sometimes myself. But people sharing something they did not create and taking credit for its creation is super scummy. Especially if they are erasing watermarks and adding their own. This will give people the impression they made the thing, so they won't even try to find the creator of that content. The original content creator will never get the benefit of more followers.
So, whenever I curate content, I always try to find the source. Especially if it is a creative work that took a lot of time and effort to make. I also try to give people multiple ways to consume that creator's content.
If you look at the art you mentioned, you can see links to several places to follow the artist.
And if I cannot find a source, what I will absolutely not do, is give people the impression I am responsible for creating the content. And oftentimes someone will recognize the creator and I am able to add attribution after the fact.
As both a content creator and a content curator, these are the best practices I have developed over years of doing this. Some people accuse curators of being just "reposters" and being lazy for not creating their own content, but they are an extremely valuable asset to artists. We need ethical curators to share our work and attribute it properly so we can build audiences.
What we don't want are content thieves and those assholes who say, "credit goes to the artist who made this."
Hopefully you have a better understanding of the issue now.

THESE ARE A FEW THINGS YOU CAN DO! Though I don't think they'd be helpful. Love you Aestraaa!!!
Emphasize Your Perspective: When sharing your fanfiction, you can make it clear that your work is a creative interpretation and doesn't necessarily reflect the views of the creator or their personal beliefs. (i.e always explain to not purchase the game, not interact with the creators, upcoming show, etc)
Engage with the Community: Connect with other fanfic writers who share your love for the characters and the game BUT ALSO SHARE YOUR VIEWWW! Focusing on the community aspect can help you find like-minded individuals who appreciate your creative work.
Create Original Characters or Alternate Universes: If you're uncomfortable with the association with the creator, you can explore original characters or alternate universes. This allows you to maintain your connection to the world while distancing yourself from specific elements of the gameplay?
yes, these are definitely going to be important when i do eventually post writing again. that won't be for a bit, as i've said. as long as i am not posting my writing, i will continue to speak about palestine— but when i do post a fic, i will definitely highlight these and include some sources that link to donations, articles, neil being a zionist, not to buy the game, etc. i already am exploring a complete alternative universe (knight!ellie) and the only unoriginal part is ellie, everything else has nothing to do with the tlou world. i don't feel comfortable posting it around this time, so after a while, it'll come out. but using my platform for palestine is what i'm choosing to do right now. still writing as always, but im not putting it over this.

I already submitted 1 for this week, but some of my fav fics have had updates/new chapter drops in the past couple of weeks, so wanted to shout these out too:
Dominoes by @meridiansdominoes
https://archiveofourown.org/works/11864643/chapters/26789934
One of my fav fics ever, starring the original Domino squad… We’re off to UMBARA kids! *stressed AF*
In Command by @wild-karrde
https://www.tumblr.com/wild-karrde/702398234256195584/in-command-master-list?source=share
I’ve already screamed at you about it, but so excited to see the re-write of one of my fav fics progress! The emotion that shines through just gives me chills. And Senna is my stubborn and reckless spirit animal.
Walk Me Home by @cyarbika
This new chapter drop had me drooling. Spicy 🔥 Sassy and Sexy - my fav combo. Lemony lemon.
How Long Will it Take You to Slow Down by @saturn-sends-hugs
https://archiveofourown.org/works/44765179/chapters/112629625
Every new chapter drop in this series gives me anxiety because this series is deliciously whumpy. But Saturn writes Echo’s headspace in such an emotional way. He’s a PTSD loaded trainwreck I can’t look away from. I love him in every way! Love how Tech got some time to shine in this update,
Fools Errand by @staycalmandhugaclone
https://www.tumblr.com/staycalmandhugaclone/752401340394799104/fools-errand-pt-1
This is a new arc in Doc’s Misadventures, about a medic running with TBB. And listen - this might be the best arc yet. Stay Calm is the most descriptive writer and just sucks you right into the story. Her OC Doc has so much compassion for those around her, but is also a 100% certified badass and it’s just the best combo, honestly. I love her. And seeing her relationship grow and change with the boys has been amazing. Echo really gets time to shine in this story, which has been stellar. Heavy whump and spicy in some story arcs.
As always, thanks for all the things @fandom-friday !!
Multiple submissions are ALWAYS welcome! This is an absolutely fantastic list, and I am completely and totally honored to be included on it with so many outstanding writers! Thanks so much for putting this together and sending it in!

Oh, sorry! I didn't know! My memories of Pokemon are a little fuzzy so I'll try my best to explain.
So, Kyogre is a whale-like Legendary water-type Pokemon that possesses the ability to expand the oceans and create storms. It battled with it's rival Groudon (another legendary Pokemon that has the ability to expand continents). It is believed to be the personification of the sea itself and is also described as the creator of the ocean in mythology. A powerful Pokemon, it has control over the water and rain. It is hailed as a savior for quenching areas of the world plagued with drought. Kyogre is able to fly and generally lives deep in the ocean, resting in a deep trench.
Kyogre is normally very calm and peaceful until it meets it's rival, Groudon.
I hope this helps!
Thank you for explaining and absolutely! I hope I got it correctly and that you like it!
And just for curious people and me... here's link to original request!

✧ Zhongli had a small feeling about you being a but different form normal humans since beginning
✧ he noticed how you have strong bond with water and how you seem to have some sort of control over the water anytime you're around and he'd lie if he said his curiosity wasn't picked
✧ he knew you were a human and never doubted it but he was really curious where you got that sort of power from
✧ he won't actually ask you about it at first, instead he'll recall every single meeting with water species and try to associate some with you! But as could be expected, none actually fit it...
✧ but once he discovers the truth either through you or through other ways of gaining knowledge (or by him remembering something), he won't really make a fuss about it and will observe in silence, after all he doesn't want to scare you away
✧ he'll patiently wait for you to reveal all of your powers to him, he wants you to do it out od your own will and trust, and he has all time in the world!
"Oh that's interesting. So you just happen to find sea calming? Would you mind telling me more about it? I'm genuinely curious about the reason."
﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌
✧ Gorou noticed your skills almost immidietly and you could feel it by the way he stares at you with curiosity in his eyes! But he pretends to look at something else once you catch him
✧ he doesn't like being remembered about his dog-like appearance so he doesn't mention it to you either, especially since it'd mean admiring he's been admiring your powers
✧ but one time you played with water close to him and he got distracted, his tail immidiely wagging, you couldn't help but state with a smile but that ended with him being flustered a bit
✧ in the end he admits he was paying special attention to you and that's when he finally knows everything from you! But it ended on that, he trusted you were a human and never even dared think otherwise
✧ of course he heard about your rival and saw how troubled you got by it, he definitely was interested but also a bit startled by your sudden change... after all you were always so calm and collected
"Huh!? No, I wasn't staring... I was just... I thought I saw Lady Kokomi pass in the distance, that's all."
﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌
✧ I feel like Itto wouldn't assume you for having some special powers even if he saw your tricks with water, he'd just find it impressing but that's all!
✧ he'd actually get more interested in it if he hears fairytale or so about some water creature, that'd when he starts seeing similiarity between you and them
✧ he's not secret about it tho, you can do anything and he'll casually mention your similiarity
✧ but when he discovers fully about your powers and despite everyone telling him it's not something normal humans do, he won't question anything and will be the biggest supporter in return
✧ most likely asks you to perform your skills when he's bored or when he needs a distraction so be prepared to be associated with his troubles if you agree
✧ but don't worry because this man will do his best to defend you with his life!! It just doesn't usually works...
✧ but going onto next trait of yours, he's surprised how calm you are and tried making you a bit less official and have some fun, at least when you're around him
"Just imagine how much fun everyone would have if you did a water slide! At least a small one! ... Please?"
﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌
✧ Tighnari is rather observant so all it took was one trick with water when he was on patrol, and he started being more interested in all the why's
✧ he can't count how much books about animals and even mythical species he read for the last few days with hope that at least one would lead him closer to discovering
✧ in the end, he figures out it's the best to ask you himself. As much as he'd like to discover it all himself, it seems he has ko choice if he wants to know the truth
✧ and when he does discover it, he won't hesitate to ask you for a small showcase of your abilities. And he'll make sure to note them all!
✧ he's DEFINITELY not believing you're fully a human after all of that tho, he's sure you must have at least a bit of other genes in you
✧ he associated your calmness with water ever after discovering your association with it, but then he realized that even the calmest sea can be chaotic...
✧ that's why he expected you to burst sooner or later so when you met your rival, he was already prepared and quickly dragged you away as he offered you your comfort food or some plushy to calm down
"I expected situation like this may occur so I brought your favorite sweet with me. Here you go."

An attempt to investigate and explain fandoms and headcannons thorough Orientalism
Recently I started reading Orientalism (in short - a book on how the West saw and created the narrative of the Orient more than 100 years ago) and suddenly had a bit of a realisation. The author, Edward W. Said, mentioned how an important aspect of Orientalism was the fact that firstly, it fascinated the westerners because they already felt a certain (superior) way about that territory due to their history with it and the colonial past related to it, and secondly, the Orient was incapable of resisting being fantasised and thought about.
Anyways, I think I saw a link between this and what I and many other people do on the Internet with fandom characters and celebrities (which by the way isn’t as common as we think outside of websites like this). I must also add that my points of reference for this text are (ironically) my own fandoms and communities and what I see and do in them. This post will likely reach no one, but even if that won’t be the case, take all of this with a grain of salt as I am also very biased in my data sources.
I believe that just as with the western ideas of Orientalism there are 3 important factors that enable us to photoshop pictures of grown men and add glitter and bowties to their hair (not that it’s not cute and funny of course)
1. Personal Creative Empowerment
There already exists a certain attitude towards what we call “headcannons” - we know everyone has them! However, what we forget is that it wasn’t always likely the case. Unlike 100 years ago anyone today is at complete liberty to create any art, fiction or similar, at their own pace and in their own places. We feel empowered and capable of creating and publishing any art and any stories, and we always take a moment to imagine something in situations where someone from 100 years ago (or pre internet) wouldn’t have taken the time to. AO3, fanfiction.net, Tumblr - all of these places house many small creators, who upload silly art, romantic and cute stories, write these “POWs” and interact with other fans about their chosen fandoms. This removes the elitism from these communities and makes everyone who visits such websites think “hey… I can create and upload my silly tv-show art too! just like [this creator] and [that creator]!”. It is a very positive and empowering concept, and it creates a much less limited environment that allows us to share content and amplify the made-up and non-existent narratives we create for our own comfort and amusement.
2. Honest Internal Fascination
Our fantastical and sometimes concerning thoughts and ideas about characters, people and fandoms all relate to things we find inherently fascinating ourselves. Whether it be a WW2 era movie, or a fantasy game, or a documentary, we always talk about, draw and write about things (and aspects of things) we ourselves are connected to beforehand. We find a character who we feel personally connected to in some way, an idea which resonates with us on a deeper level, or a general concept of being someone else somewhere else and being able to do things we cannot do right now.
3. Power(less)fullness and Entitlement
Most importantly, we feel entitled to produce these pieces of content and “yap” about these things because neither the made up non-existent movie characters, nor the very much real but distant actors and personalities can not resist or in any way inhibit (stop or resist) our creative eruptions. They are powerless and helpless against our metaphorical imaginative offence, and find no way to express their own thoughts on the matter, making us feel even more entitled and empowered than we previously would have been. It also notably enables us to twist and shape these characters ideas or people into whatever we want - give them any traits they originally didn’t possess or assume their behaviour in situations. The terms “yassification” and “babygirl” come to mind, often made to relate to characters who didn’t show any such behaviour in the actual piece of media. The oversimplification of motives and traits also stems from this empowerment, allowing us to make anyone into anyone, just for our own psychological comfort and amusement.
~~~
Now indeed, just as with Orientalism, the most evident reason behind our actions is also true and honest fascination and interest (sometimes even love) - we don’t have a monetary or political motive behind our actions (in some cases however this isn’t necessarily true), we are simply drawn to these things due to our very real emotions and feelings. However I do believe that without the aforementioned 3 factors there would be much less “fangirling”, Tumblr posts about characters, and discord servers discussing how literal war officers from a popular movie would behave in an aqua park (real example).
I want to finish this by saying that I personally find nothing bad in this behaviour - indeed I display it myself (look at my posts and you’ll get it). I do however find it infinitely interesting.
Can you tell us more about Filipino mythology and moneters, cause there's no 1 official website and I almost always barely passed filipino? Can you also list like great sources for me to read? Thanks
I had a pretty busy week last week so it took a while to get to this ask but I'd love to give more info on the topic!
More on Filipino Mythology:
Si Apolaki at Mayari - Bakit may araw at gabi
EN: Apolaki and Mayari - Why there's day and night
An illustration of Apolaki and Mayari created by the illustrator PM Graphix
I am currently still doing a write-up on the Tagalog pantheon so I could start by maybe talking about that and what I've found. For the mythology section of this, let me start with something that's actually not from the Tagalog pantheon but is often attributed to the Tagalog pantheon: the Kapampangan story of Apolaki and Mayari or why the day and night exist. This story has been sourced from Maximo D. Ramos's book Philippine Myths, Legends, and Folktales (which you can buy on Amazon here, sadly I cannot find a free version of the book without going through suspicious links) and posted by Jordan Clark of The Aswang Project on his website.
BATHALA, the creator of the world, had a son named Apolaki and a daughter named Mayari. The light that shone upon the world and enabled the people, the beasts, the birds, and the fish to see came from the bright eyes of Apolaki and Mayari, So all the creatures loved them dearly. Bathala himself was very fond of his children, and he watched over them as they wandered across the meadows of heaven. Since the eyes of Apolaki and Mayari shone continuously, it was always day on the earth. In time Bathala grew feeble with age and died. Then Apolaki and Mayari had a quarrel, for each wanted to rule the world alone. “I am the man and I will succeed my father to the throne,” said Apolaki. “I am going to rule the world, whether you like it or not.” Mayari’s eyes flashed with anger and she said, “I am no less my father’s child than you. I will succeed him to his throne, whether you like it or not!” The quarrel grew from bad to worse, and finally words could not express their furious rage. So they picked up wooden clubs and fell upon each other with fierce blows. Back and forth they fought until at last Apolaki struck Mayari in the face and she became blind in one eye. When he saw his sister stricken, Apolaki took pity on her and said, “Let us fight no more, my sister. Let us share our father’s kingdom equally between us. Let us reign by turns and be friends.” Mayari agreed, and from then on, Apolaki, whom we know today as the Sun, has ruled the world half the time. Mayari, whom we now know as the Moon, has taken turns with her brother in ruling the world. When Apolaki is on the throne, the world is flooded with warm light, because the light beams from his two bright eyes. On the other hand, when Mayari is reigning, the world is bathed with cool and gentle light; for she is blind in one eye.
Now from what I've researched, a lot of places tend to attribute the story to the Tagalog people or state that it is a shared story from both the Tagalogs and their neighboring Kapampangan up north from them but I cannot find any specific source prior to the late 1960s that even mention that Mayari was part of the Tagalog pantheon so it may be a more recent addition.
The source that first states Mayari's inclusion as a part of the Tagalog Bathala's court comes from a paper written by F. Landa Jocano called Notes on Philippine Divinities (1968) where he does not cite a specific source of where he has learned Mayari was of Tagalog origin nor even stated that he had learned it from a Tagalog local and considering Jocano himself isn't a Tagalog nor is he Kapampangan, it's unlikely he's learned it from his upbringing or otherwise.
I had also done a little digging on his sources and none of them bring up Mayari nor her sister Hanan, the goddess of dawn, so the paper leaves much room for doubt. Tala, the goddess of stars, who is also listed in Jocano's paper make a lot more sense despite the lack of sources as it is the actual word for star in Tagalog but I still have to do further research on her as well.
Either way, I had also never heard of Mayari as a Tagalog deity outside Jocano's work and online articles that heavily source Jocano (The Aswang Project, one of the most popular sources for Filipino mythology which I had used as a specific source for Kapampangang mythology, has cited him twice in regards to Tagalog mythology specifically but not Kapampangan mythology). This is also despite me being born and raised within a mostly Tagalog community.
All of that for me to say that this story of Apolaki and Mayari may be a later addition to the Tagalog mythos after interests on Filipino mythology got revitalized from the mid-20th century onward rather than something that has always been a part of the Tagalog mythology.
Note that I'm not saying that it is an impossibility that this had been part of the Tagalog culture prior to that time period, but a lot of sources that discuss this do not bring up this story until after Jocano's work. I will have to maybe do more reading on this to find out more information about this and Mayari's status on whether or not she did belong to the Tagalog pantheon prior to the 60s.
I also want to add a quick note that it's pretty common for people to misattribute this story to the Pangasinense people as well but it may be from both people constantly confusing Pampanga from Pangasinan (think of it as how people confuse Sweden and Switzerland), as well as a name overlap with Apolaki who is referred to as Apolaqui in Pangasinan. The two places are both north of the Tagalog Regions. I might look into this connection/association/coincidence later on.
Further Readings and Sources
It's actually pretty hard to suggest a specific source for Filipino mythology given that a lot of them pull from the same reference (Notes on Philippine Divinities) which I had said has some dubious information but Maximo D. Ramos's book that I had referenced is a good read as it collects various myths from different places throughout the country. I myself had been thinking of getting a copy of the book soon as well as his other books.
Some Filipino Monsters
As for Filipino monsters, I could say that its similar with Filipino mythology, in that with so many cultures, there's many different kinds on who you're asking. These ghouls seem to be more widely similar from culture to culture, however, probably owing to the fact that the Catholic Church didn't discourage the belief in them as much as they did the precolonial gods. Whether you go to the northernmost part of the country to the southernmost islands, there is a lot of similarities between the creatures that they could be classified easier than the gods with some creatures even sharing traits from cryptids from other Southeast Asian countries.
I'll give some of them here that you may hear pretty often when looking through catalogues of Filipino monsters. I have to be honest that I may not source as much for this section since I will be bringing up some personal stories and anecdotes that are passed around the community. I'm also open to discuss more about these creatures as well as other monsters later on.
The Aswang
An artwork of an aswang uploaded to Wikipedia by H.M.Bec
Aswangs are often considered as the most ubiquitous of the Filipino monsters. When you look up monsters from the Philippines, this may be the top result. Aswangs are often portrayed as people who transform into ghoulish creatures that feast on human flesh but especially children, babies, and fetuses. There's so many stories and variations of aswangs, however, that some of the monsters in this list are actually sometimes considered as part of the aswang category depending on the source or who you ask.
Aswangs are shapeshifters, often turning into dogs, pigs, and many other creatures, in order to stalk their prey in the middle of the night.
Aswangs are also considered as one of the main stock monsters in FIlipino media so you may see them as the villains of a lot of fantasy series and movies. They're one of the villains that Alexandra Trese faces of regularly on the folklore-inspired supernatural comic book series turned Netflix original animation Trese. They're also the main antagonist in my favorite FIlipino fantaserye series Juan De La Cruz (although I don't particularly like the lead actor anymore lol).
Here's some stuff I've heard about Aswangs from those around me.
Aswangs often won't attack their neighbors and would rather attack neighboring villages/barangays/towns. This is so they avoid detection or suspicion from their community. So, if you suspect your neighbor's an aswang, then you might just be lucky they won't target you.
Aswangs are often said to have come from the province of Capiz. It's an often common joke and stereotype that Capizeños may be aswangs themselves or know people who are aswangs. The people of Capiz are mixed on how they feel about the association with the provincial government seemingly trying to shake off the specific association to their province.
They can go to mass but cannot stay during the consecration of the holy host. Holy water and holy [coconut] oil also boil in their presence.
When you look directly into their eyes, your reflection would be upside-down. They also don't have the dent between the nose and the lips.
They could pass their curse through different ways and may depend on belief or tradition. One belief states that if a person marries an aswang, they also become an aswang.
One of the other beliefs that can turn a person into an aswang is if one makes contact with an aswang's saliva.
According to another belief, a person could also become an aswang if they ingest a black chick alive.
Similarly, an aswang cannot die until they pass their curse to another person (typically a relative). This is done by passing a black stone or chick hidden in their body to the chosen new curse holder.
They hate the typical ghoulish hated items like holy crosses, water, oils, and the classic garlic and salt, but they also hate calamansi (a small Filipino citrus fruit), and my mother had always told me that they hate suha or pomelo (a type of citrus fruit) and the smell of burning rubber.
A typical weapon used to fight against them or ward them off is the buntot pagi or stingray tail that is often sold in occultic shops around the country. You could also buy this from online stores as I've learned (x)(x)(x).
Now here's a story I've heard about them:
A story I had heard was that of the aswang bus. I had heard it repeatedly throughout the years but the basic premise is that there's a bus of a bunch of aswangs from a different province that's traveling to [province you are in] and are hunting down people at night. This is some of the more funny stories about aswangs because I keep imagining an aswang bus driver purposefully running over people and then a bunch of aswang tourists hops off of the bus to drag the body for a snack later.
I honestly might come back to the aswangs topic later since I had just learned some things from a Capizeña who works to help around our house.
The Manananggal
An artwork of an aswang uploaded to Wikipedia by Gian Bernal
The Manananggal is a ghoulish creature and is often times categorized as a kind of aswang. They are typically humanoid creatures that appear as regular people (often women) during the day, but at night their torso severs from their legs and fly away with bat wings. They often feast on fetuses using their long proboscis tongue.
These ghouls share a lot of similarities with the Southeast Asian ghoul called the Penanggal which is a similar creature but instead of their torsos separating, their heads separate from their body alongside their entrails.
Manananggals are also some of the typical stock monsters in Filipino fantasy stories. I can't think of any specific instances of the manananggal being the main character besides the softer depiction of a manananggal girl named Anna in Dayo: Sa Mundo ng Elementalia who acts as a deuteragonist to the human boy Niko. They are also featured in Trese where a tribe of manananggal is shown. They are also the main lead or love interest in some horror movies and even horror romances.
Here's some stuff I've heard about Manananggals
It's name comes from the Tagalog word "tanggal" which means "to remove" or "to separate" and specifically means "the remover" or "the separator". This of course is a reference to the fact that it removes its torso from its legs or separates its body in half.
Unlike the typical aswang which transform back during daylight, the manananggal needs to find their way back to their body or else die by sunlight.
The unattached legs of the manananggal is their weakness. If found by a person, they only need to sprinkle salt or smear crushed garlic on the legs in order to destroy them.
A lot of the typical things that ward off the aswang are also typically effective towards the manananggal.
Similarly to the aswang, manananggals are also said to had come from Capiz.
The list is shorter because honestly, just take what most you've heard about the aswang and apply it here. I don't know specifically if things like the upside-down reflection or the lack of the dent between the nose and lips could apply to manananggals, however, and I don't think I've heard people claiming that about the manananggal.
Now here's a story I've heard about them:
One story I heard that I find quite funny was something my sister heard from one of her high school friends. This friend was struggling to fall asleep at night and was tossing and turning in bed when she heard bat-like fluttering from outside. She went out to inspect the source by looking out the window and was shocked to see a manananggal climbing up a coconut tree and seemingly harvesting the fruit in the middle of the night. She wasn't flying up the tree, she was climbing it.
The next day, an old woman who was selling her goods door-to-door came by their house. She was selling coconuts.
The Tiyanak
A screenshot of a tiyanak from the movie Tiyanak (1988)
The tiyanak is considered as a demonic baby that would transform itself into a regular looking baby, crying in the middle of the night in order to attract their unfortunate target who may feel pity towards the child. The tiyanak may also be classified as an aswang but is typically considered as a separate thing more often than the manananggal from my experience. This creature has noticeably a lot in common with a lot of other Southeast Asian and East Asian myths about demonic babies and toddlers like the tuyol or the tuyul.
Like the previous two, the tiyanak is also part of the typical stock monster antagonists found in Filipino media, but not as much as either the typical aswang or the manananggal. They are often used to add a bit of a scare factor into a story and isn't typically the main antagonist of a story as of recent horror movies (with only a single short B-Movie I could think of called Flight 666 from the Shake, Rattle & Roll horror anthology series. It is not a good movie but it's stupid fun). They are featured, as usual, in Trese as the main supernatural antagonists of a specific story arc. Their depiction from the comic and the Nteflix show has been changed due to the controversial nature of the comic book depiction.
When they appear in a horror series, there's often a sort of reason or lesson as to why one has appeared and typically based on the typical origins of the tiyanak.
The most common belief is that the tiyanak is the ghost or ghoulish corpse that had come from an unbaptized child.
At times, they may be a ghoulish baby that had been created after a woman gets an abortion, other times it is simply just a baby that had died before baptism often as a stillbirth or even as a joint death with their mother.
I had also heard that it may be an abandoned baby that had died to the elements.
It is also believed, the reason that they are cursed to wander the earth after death is because they were not given a name through baptism.
Because of this, when they typically appear in stories, it is often either a story about the bad that could come from abortion or child abandonment depending on the values of the writer.
The tiyanak would also sometimes lead people astray with its cries.
Speaking of its cries, there are some places that believe if the cry sounds loud and near, the tiyanak is actually farther away from you than if you hear the cries to be quieter and farther.
Here's a story I had heard about them:
A common Filipino story of the tiyanak is the parking lot story. Story goes that in certain parking lots of buildings, typically malls, you may hear a baby cry in the middle of the night when you're alone. This is a tiyanak that's trying to lure you in by seemingly tricking you into thinking that it is just an innocent abandoned baby which is sadly common in the country. It is common enough that there are some people who would often want someone to accompany them when they're alone in a parking lot at night.
Further Readings and Sources
As much as I had stated that The Aswangs Project and their handling of discussions about Filipino mythology, specifically Tagalog mythology, is dubious at best, they have a lot of good articles about aswangs that do align with local beliefs so reading through their website for monsters specifically could be a good and free resource. They had also made a documentary that you can watch for free on YouTube that covers a lot of this and more about aswangs.
For written works, I would suggest any of Maximo D. Ramos's works as I've brought up before. There's his published paper The Aswang Syncrasy in Philippine Folklore which is considered as basically the holy grail of Aswang research, which, as I had stated, take up a bulk of the FIlipino monsters. It's hard to find easily accessible PDFs of the paper and I remember that I found a copy of this or a similar work by Ramos but the link has eluded me.
For a less academic and more fun fictionalized source for Filipino monsters I suggest The Lost Journal of Alejandro Pardo: Meet the Dark Creatures from Philippines Mythology by Budjette Tan and David Hontiveros which is available through Amazon here. It follows a fictional researcher and his discoveries of Filipino monsters and other creatures. It's a pretty easy read with a lot of good information about cryptids and monsters from the Philippines, owing to it's style of found media. If you've seen something like Gravity Falls's officially published Journal 3 from the show's universe, it has a similar vibe to that.
That's all I have for now, but I am looking more into this topic! My PC has issues right now so I might answer questions more slowly than my already slow answering speed. I hope this post helped you learn a little more about Filipino mythology and cryptids.
I'm srry ur bedroom keep getting stolen and reposted even w u clearly stating every time not to repost!! It must b jarring to see some stranger post a photo of your own room :(( hopefully ppl learn to read one day
Thanks so much for the support @dirtmunch I’m literally EXHAUSTED.😔 I really wish I never shared my original content ever! And I never will again. Makes me feel bad for the people that actually cared and would like to see an update on my collections or new nostalgia room. I just will never share ever again for people to steal and rip off. I’m to the point where I’m cracking down. I’m just tired of it. I just found a bunch of people on Pinterest also taking it! EVEN though I posted them on my personal Pinterest and it’s the first ones that come up saying IT’S MINE DON’T STEAL, they see it and do it anyways. Mine r the first ones to come up that link to my room tour, showing they r mine. they know. They don’t care. I confront them, and I never get responses. They ignore, delete, ex. I posted my photos to share with my small tumblr community at the time (I was a super small creator at the time). And did a room tour on my YouTube cause my followers requested it and didn’t think much about it. Now my photos took a like of their own and bigger creators just take them cause I’m small and can’t do anything about it. Just what it comes down to.
Lesson learned, don’t ever post anything original online if u can learn anything from my experience. It WILL be stolen and people won’t care. As long as they can get likes off someone else’s content and claim it as their own, all they care about. It literally was a tiktok trend to TAKE my bedroom photos and use them as your background like it’s their room! Think if this happened to u, isn’t that weird? Also disrespectful that people don’t even tag or care to find the source.
INSTEAD I’ve always tried to be encouraging! ANYONE can do what I did. Go to your local thrift store, garage sales, church sale, look at every wrack you can to decorate your own space like this and very inexpensive. Be creative decorate your own room! Don’t take people’s content. ❤️
hi!! for some reason the masterlist i had saved didn't let me see the whole masterlist! I only ever saw part 1 (the omega) thank you for answering my question <3
Okay, this is a good general PSA that apparently is not well known (from what I'm seeing across different fandoms) but if you reblog a post, no matter what post it is, if any changes are made to the original, the reblogged post Will Not Change.
So, using this as an example, if you reblog a creator's masterlist, anything that creator adds to that masterlist After you reblogged it, it will not reflect on the version of the masterlist you reblogged.
So, if you want to reblog a masterlist and use it as a tbr, or if you want to use that reblogged post as a reminder to read, always go back to the original. ALWAYS. Go back to the original creator's blog and check the original masrerlist there (which I can guarantee is either pinned or linked on a pinned post, or old school linked in the bio) because if you're going off a reblogged version, be it one you reblogged or one you saved from someone else, it will not reflect any changes made to the original.
#makes me wonder how many people that reblogged the masterlist dont know how far the fic has come#because theyre only looking at the version of the masterlist they've reblogged#and not the original#i had people last year that didnt know this either#came in handy during a debacle claiming id changed my fic#earlier reblogs proved that wrong because the accuser didn't know reblogs stay the same#they dont change#thats why people say reblog posts that might be changed later#then theres proof changes were made#answered
Your ROTBTD reblogs are hilarious and it's really good content O_O like yours, Hiccup is my favorite and while the general idea of the Big Four was genius (who even came up with them back in the day???), I've just never been able to commit to them because... well, Hiccup just outshines them all. Cheers XD
Thank you so much! Please send some love to the creators of those posts as well, their amazing work keeps my hyperfixation gears turning
I believe I managed to reblog the one that originated the name and i think its origins itself?... I'll link it here-
Iejvjekvjdj I would be lying through my teeth if I say I love them all equally, Hiccup was always been my biased favorite because,,, while he was also my first favorite childhood movie,,,, yea he really does outshine them by movie standards alone,,, even rapunzel and RotG can’t compare now to his ENTIRE GIANT FRANCHISE (ignore httyd 3)
which is funny because I remember waaay back then (before httyd2) he was always treated as the awkward guy that relied on his ‘pet dragon’ a lot (god i hated that so much I dropped so many fanfics because of that) compared to the rest
I straight up made my own tier list for my opinion on the movies a few days ago
Over all Hiccup wins hands down, sorry-
However, all of them do have their merit and I still very much love them! It’s just that HTTYD has so much content now that you can rewatch and enjoy and analyze, while the others don’t really have as much which can either kill the interest or let your imagination make it up as it goes
#HEY WOULD YA LOOK AT THAT MY FIRST ROTBTD ART IN YEARS#and its to praise httyd#HAHAHAHAAH#enjoyyyy#httyd#httyd movies#rotbtd#rise of the brave tangled dragons#fr tho why did brave end like that#it rlly got the short end of the stick out of all of them#brave got nothin#tangled got a show#rotg has their og books#anD HTTYD HAS TWICE THE BOOKS AND TWICE THE SHOWS#HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA#rotg#pixar brave
