i was just thinking about like. how robin sees language? because obviously modern english isn't his first language (or something like that anyway, since the way he communicated at first was obv a lot more different i think). so like,, does he translate his speech before he actually says it? does he think in the language he spoke before he died and THEN try his best to verbalise it in a way the rest will understand??? also just like. does he ever feel misunderstood or like his proper thoughts can never be properly communicated properly bc of the kind of "language barrier" that he has?? like in the show he obviously has a really good grasp of english esp in the later seasons but does he still mess up sometimes?

I don't know how to articulate this well, but I really fucking hate the way a lot of thin writers write fat characters. Like how men write women "breasting boobily" there is something so dehumanizing about how fat characters are often written. "He waddled", "he lumbered", the writer of the book I'm reading always mentions this characters "fleshy hand" when he does something with his hand. Like, we already know that he's fat. There is no need to describe everything he does as "doing it fatly".

The funniest thing about House MD to me is that all the shippers are right. House and Wilson really are just Like That. I'm so used to big ships being completely noncanon or distant subtext at best. Not Hilson. They have a fake dating episode. In the episode where House mocks a gay man for being in denial, the multi-episode-long subplot is about him trying to break up Wilson's relationship because he's jealous and wants him to himself. Wilson, his best friend and person whom he lives with. This show is insane.
