idk if any tumblr users aspire to be/are currently doctors, but please take note of that last story. this is a weirdly common thing. a patient will come in with miserable symptoms, and the doctor seeing them won't even do a basic deficiencies blood test.

do not be that doctor. if your patient is miserable, that's not "a normal part of living", something is wrong. your job is to try and fix it.

also if you live in a cold part of the world like canada or michigan, you almost definitely have a vitamin D deficiency even if you go outside a lot. it's just something our people have to deal with, get your blood tested and act accordingly. if you have to buy vitamins over the counter, look into the brand first, the vitamin market is a bit of a snake oil situation right now and you wanna make sure you're Actually getting what it says you're getting.

Chujin's opinion of Starlo is that he is an immature loudmouth who only grew physically beyond middle/high school. He's a reckless moron that has no regard for the fact that he is poisoning the minds of monsterkind with his admiration for human culture. He thinks that Starlo's desire to bring a slice of the Underground is a waste of time and that if Starlo REALLY wanted to help monsterkind's situation, he'd try to figure out methods to escape the Underground instead of finding escapism in a pale imitation of the Surface. He is unable to conceive why Starlo even likes humans except out of some twisted, Stockholm Syndrome-esque fawning over monsterkinds' captors.

(Deep deep deep deep deep down, Chujin knows that Starlo is a kind person who doesn't have bad intentions. And, he can begrudgingly admit that if the Wild East prevents some monsters from falling into despair, (which is a death sentence for a monster,) then it does some good. But you'd basically have to dislocate his shoulder from twisting his arm so hard if you want Chujin to admit this.)

Starlo's opinion of Chujin is that he is some above-it-all asshole. He insists that he remained civil and respectful of Chujin ever since Chujin and Ceroba started dating and he started to get tangentially involved in Starlo's life, yet all Chujin's done is scoff at him for following his dreams. Chujin must think he's soooooooo great being some smarty-pants scientist instead of a nobody farmer/sheriff like he is and that's why he looks down on Starlo, what a snob! And as for Chujin's belief that all humans are evil? Greatly exaggerated! If humans were such wicked things, why would the westerns they make show such relatable concepts like justice and freedom and how cool revolvers are? Starlo's just trying to inject some fun into the Underground and distract everyone from how dire things are getting and Chujin has a massive stick up his ass about it.

(Deep deep deep deep deep down, Starlo knows that Chujin is a kind person who only wants the best for everyone. Chujin is beloved by Ceroba and the Sunnyside family and other residents of the Underground for a reason. The fact that he's such an admirable person drives him a bit nuts, because Starlo knows that he would never be able to measure up to him. It's no wonder that Ceroba fell for him so quickly. How could he ever compare? And as for Chujin's opinion on humans? While he strongly disagrees with Chujin's outright hatred, he does recognize that some humans can be dangerous.)

I would say that Chujin and Starlo would bitch at each other like two Southern belles backhand complimenting each other, except I feel like Starlo lacks the subtlety to be able to dish out those sorts of insults, let alone pick up on them. Instead, they'd try to be silent in each other's presence out of respect for Ceroba. It's a........... very tense silence, to say the least....

Since I started TNG half a year ago, I’ve gotten a lot of asks like “what would it be like if Sun, Moon and Y/N had kids?” and other things like it.

And I’m just gonna go out and say that I’m sorry, but I won’t be answering these questions. I myself do not want kids and never have, and since I project a lot onto TNG this question has always made me very uncomfortable.

However! This is not to say that I don’t want people to think about it for themselves. You want to imagine what it would be like if they had children? Hell yeah! Great! More power to you! I honestly don’t mind the idea, I just don’t want to take part in it myself.

So, if you send me something asking how’d they’d be as parents or if Y/N had found Sun and Moon as caterpillars or anything of the sorts, please don’t be upset that I won’t answer it! I’m just not comfortable answering that.

You know, throwing this out there completely randomly, we really don't talk enough about Zhao from Avatar. Like his story is absolutely wild. Man was trained by Jeong Jeong, freaking found Wan Shi Tong's library, found out about the solar eclipse from the library, burned a section of the library down, escaped from that alive, captured the avatar, successfully breached the walls of the Northern Water Tribe which had never been done, and killed the freaking moon spirit. Like he is a bastard and regularly loses to teenagers, but you can't deny it's quite the resume.

One thing that really grinds my gears when it comes to the discussion of Rebels is the consistent misrepresentation of Kallus' redemption for ship purposes.

Kallus' redemption arc is not about Zeb. Yes, Zeb kickstarts it, but he did not make Kallus a rebel. And I find it so irritating when people reduce his arc down to "haha he fell so in love he switched sides" like please.

For Kallus' redemption to work, for it to be worth anything, Zeb cannot effectively be a part of it. The entire point of Zeb telling Kallus to search for the answers to questions he hasn't asked is because Kallus needs to see it for himself. He needs to realize for himself. He needs to realize everything he's been a part of.

And that's why I dislike it when people woobify him and turn him into this character who's constantly asking for forgiveness from Zeb. Because even aside from the fact that it's just weird to put Zeb in the position where he needs to constantly forgive the guy who was complicit in his planet's destruction, that's just not what the arc is about.

Kallus looks for the answers. And in the end he's more aware than anyone what he's done, what he's been a part of, and that it needs to be fixed. He's not a soft character and his redemption doesn't change that, it just means that he's changed his actions to be consistent with his morals. Zeb is not guiding him or teaching him or even present for most of it, and that's important.

the real kicker would be hua guizhong and ping yan and their possible angst at the fact their counterparts aren't dating nor even remotely as close (remember cyanide was before the crackship was revealed so neither guizhong nor madame ping are characterized there as having anything going on between them)

honestly? fanan and the fox siblings would be such a wild difference that when folks like xiao stare at zhongli like "what do you mean you're a god there?" zhongli would be able to just shrug it off and say "if fanan is from a completely different country why wouldn't i, an already acomplished thaumaturge, be an Immortal? it IS an alterlate reality after all" and xiao would be inwardly still kinda sus but have no basis on which to really argue LMAO

recently reblogged a post about transfemme thinking self ugly and i feel like i should share w yall my wisdom.

for the past year or so i have started disassociating facial features with what "gender" i think they are "more suit for", as in what is masculine or feminine.

what i typically do is whenever i go out in public, or even at school with teachers or with friends, assume as if they are presenting "opposite gender" as what they seem to be

slowly you will realize that all features of the face can occur with anybody, regardless of their sex. this really helped out with my dysphoria because all of the "masculine" features i had werent limited to "men" or amab people or whatever group.

i also noticed that a lot of times we might find features on old people or fat people "ugly" (or at first view i saw it as such) but i began to realize that those features are just commonly associated with the opposite sex/gender and therefore we find them "ugly"

also, seeing someone who wears makeup a lot without makeup will really make you see how similar "male" and "female" faces are, although i dont usually wear makeup so maybe you get used to it after a while.

also i dont have like a trick anyone could do but once i saw someone of the opposite sex (i presume) who looked exactly like me, so like literally everytime i look in the mirror and think "im so masculine i hate my masculine face" i have seen actual proof against it.

this wont like eliminate your dysphoria, but hopefully you stop seeing yourself as an ugly tranny freak but instead as an ugly person of your gender

i know thats not the happiest ending, but in reality, theres not much of a difference between people. of course female sex will have greater chance of certain aspects than male sex and vice versa, but there will always be women with broad shoulders, rectangular build, large noses, and balding hair and there will always be curvy men with soft faces "weird" amount of breast, and "dainty" figure, transgender or not

oh and i cant forget!!! nonbinary people like exist too!!! disassociating masculine or feminine quality completely upends your idea of "androgyny" (and hopefully will steer it away from afab with short hair and much makeup)
