in fact she hated this person so much she refused to acknowledge them but NEVER TOLD ME THIS so i kept mentioning them as my friend and she would ignore me, to the point where she was ignoring art and shit i worked for weeks on. real nice way to support your girlfriend! putting your grudges before her. fuckssake

Phantom of Venice- Helena Berg 

She looks like a 1950s housewife with bit of goth. 8/10.

Haunting of Castle Malloy- Fiona Malloy

She looks exactly like you’d expect after spending 70 years alone in a bog. 1/10.

Ransom of the Seven Ships- Johnny Rolle

He’s kinda doing blackface, so no. 0/10.

Warnings at Waverly Academy- Corine Myers

She’s that weird girl in class that always makes you uncomfortable with how much personal details she knows about you. How does she know those things!?!? 4/10.

Trail of the Twister- Scott Vernall

I’m loving that tired professor™ look. And his beard... Gotta knock off points for his rudeness though.  8/10.

Shadow’s At the Water’s Edge- Rentaro Aiharo

He is a manipulative and abusive boyfriend towards poor Miwako. He uses his girlfriend’s MOTHERs death to try to get her to do what he wants and wreck the family business. (I am so mad the the game tries to give him a chance at redemption at the end, how gross) -∞/10

The Captive Curse- Anita Mittelmeier

She definitely looks and acts like your mom friend. I love her dress and totally thinks it suits her. To bad she’s kinda is a crazy ex... 8/10.

Albi in Ashes- Brenda Carlton

She is good-looking but her shirt is...ummm...not the greatest look. Some fashion styles like ruffles should stay in the 1800s. And let’s not go into the fact that she is a snake. 5/10.

Tomb of the Lost Queen- Abudullah Bakhoum

Again we have another tied professor™ look, he does not have a beard though so its not as good as Scott’s look... 6/10.

The Deadly Device-Victor Lossett

He looks like he could wrestle a bear and win. 8/10.

Ghost of Thorton Hall- Clara Thorton

Look I know this game doesn’t really have a villian, but we have to rate someone. She’s good-looking but totally a rich snob going through daddy issues. 6/10.

The Silent Spy- Ewan McLeod

Is is just me or does his legs seem weirdly proportioned?? He looks exactly like your stereotypically nerdy high school guy. 5/10.

The Shattered Medallion- Kiri Nind ( I’ll admit I didn’t play this game and couldn’t even sit through the walkthrough video)

We stan a muscular women. She looks like the type of people that are super obsessed with fitness and health so much that that it becomes their entire personality. 7/10.

Labyrinth of Lies- Xenia Doukas and Thanos Gansas

The first thing I noticed about Xenia was her perfectly plucked eyes lol. Thanos is totally buff and his beard is great but his proportions are totally off. I mean look how he is standing lol.  Xenia- 9/10 Thanos- 8/10

Sea of Darkness- Soren Bergursson

He is sweater guy™, he’s always wearing questionable sweaters and bumbling around. Too bad he’s also is kinda crazy. 7/10 

Midnight in Salem- Alicia Cole

This game’s graphics I tell ya...lol. I love a professional women who knows what she wants. However she is creeping on a HIGH SCHOOLER??? What even is this game? 1/10.

Ada: Ada is pretty good, but there’s no reason she shouldn’t have had an affinity track like the other companions. No need for a personal quest since the Automatron DLC is basically her personal quest, but add more interiority and exploration of her overcoming her grief (and for that matter, give more background of her dead friends). And sure, make her romanceable, why not.

Cait: No magic rehab chair. Her companion quest can still involve her struggle with addiction, but it’s a combination of helping and supporting her and getting her fixer to deal with withdrawal issues (also add back in fixer). Also get rid of the weird indentured servitude thing with buying her contract off of Lonegan. Instead, Lonegan tells you that you owe him for killing all his patrons, but will forgive the debt if you help him rebuild the Combat Zone, and he sends Cait with you to make sure your debt gets paid.

Codsworth: This one is good tbh. I think “robot butler” serves a very dogmeat-type role for people just getting used to the world, albeit with more personality. I wouldn’t add any changes without drastically changing the whole “sole survivor” framing narrative of the game.

Curie: Curie is a Mister Handy instead of a Miss Nanny. Her personal quest involves working with the Railroad to steal Institute technology from an Institute surface lab to grow a synth body for her or you can get Sturges to build a better robot body and upgrade her systems to experience the world in a more human way. (Note: this is only allowed if you get an actual trans woman to write it)

Danse: Danse’s quest is more or less fine, but his post-quest dialogue needs to change drastically so he becomes less of a bootlicker. His affinity choices change too. He gets post-quest options to officially join the Railroad or the Minutemen.

Deacon: Synth Deacon canon. The dead wife story is the bait-and-switch instead of the synth thing, and he has a personal quest to do actual spy stuff (infiltrating one of the Institute spy caravans like Trashcan Carla or Cricket as guards, finding out their Institute contact, and getting a few of his friends assigned to a surface patrol so he can rescue them). Or just have Glory be the Railroad companion and have the same thing.

Dogmeat: He’s a dog

Hancock: He’s a fun character, but too entrenched in Fallout 4′s veneration of the American Revolution to leave alone. I don’t think Hancock would be a companion, he’s the full time mayor of Goodneighbor. The characterization leans into his dictatorial tendencies, in that he is both Mayor-For-Life and functionally immortal. He still has the same “found John Hancock’s hat and clothes” but it’s presented more cynically and serves as a criticism of the American Revolution. He relies on the rhetoric of “freedom” from Diamond City in the same way, but uses it to prop up himself above others.

Longfellow: Longfellow has to be interesting enough to warrant traveling with him in Far Harbor instead of Nick. He would be a pro-Far-Harbor companion while Nick is mostly pro-Acadia. He can keep the dead wife, as a treat, but it’s integral to his story rather than than a one-off mention. Rather than joining the Children of Atom, both of them were obsessed with destroying them in their youth. She died in an altercation with one of the cultists, Longfellow killed the cultist, then was overcome with the realization that he had killed someone who was essentially brainwashed by a cult. He distanced himself from Far Harbor after that, essentially becoming the hermit you see when you meet him. He sees a lot of his younger self in Allen Lee, and he will provide extra options when dealing with the Children of Atom due to his familiarity with them, including peaceful options.

MacCready: MacCready’s quest is weirdly disjointed, so here’s a way to combine the steps. MacCready hired the gunners to bring his son and Lucy to join him in the Commonwealth, but fell on a dry spell of work and couldn’t pay his debts. Now they have them captive and are holding them until he can pay. The player can either help MacCready raise the exhorbitant ransom, do a series of morally questionable jobs to cancel the debt, or fight through the gunners to get to them. He’s not romanceable, because he’s married.

Nick Valentine: Mostly the same, but with a few changes. Nick was a private eye before the war, not a cop. The Eddie Winter case is only the first quest stage, the next quest stage involves him believing he’s wrapped up the last of old Nick’s business, and wants to do something that is his own. He and the player go about solving an old cold case of his and finally bringing closure to a decades-old mystery. Also sure, he’s romanceable.

Piper: She’s significantly less Mulder-esque and more Murrow-esque. She’s unpopular with Diamond City not because McDonough’s a synth (he’s not in this version) but because her pro-synth campaigning undermines his attempts to win elections by creating a convenient bogeyman. Her personal quest involves her being brought in by Diamond City’s Synth Activities Committee, who attempts to silence her. Then, you have to help her dig up dirt on the members of the committee and expose it in order to shut them down.

Porter Gage: Porter is sort of limited by how the raiders are written, but his character traits are that he is smart and crafty for a raider, so let’s work with that. His personal quest can involve inter-gang politics, and can involve getting rid of some of his detractors in a way that doesn’t draw suspiscion (let’s say... Dixie, William Black, and a new Pack character).

Preston Garvey: Preston is great, I would only change it so that Sturges gives Minutemen quests, and only if you ask him, which would remove a lot of the mechanical annoyances of Preston. Also the Minutemen are something different, perhaps descended from a pre-war Longshoreman Union. Alternatively, Preston has an early personal quest (before you reestablish the Minutemen) that has him realize that the Minutemen were more rotten than he realized, and drives him to build something new instead of trying to reclaim the past.

Strong: Man idk. At this point just write a different super mutant companion because I have no idea what identifiable elements Strong actually has that I can work off of

X6-88: A lot of stuff can be improved by changing how synths work in general. Other than that, add a redemption arc similar to Danse’s. As you work with X6, he gains more affinity with you and starts to like you. Of course, he knows this is considered a glitch in coursers, so he says he has to return to the Institute and submit to a mind wipe. You can convince him otherwise, or let him be wiped, which will reset his affinity to neutral. If you convince him to not be mind wiped, he will start to express views against the Institute. You can take the Institute route and forcibly have him wiped at this point (which will reset affinity again) or convince him to defect. He has post-quest options to join the Minutemen, Railroad, or Acadia. The Railroad is more suspicious of a former courser, and he has to do a quest for them against the Institute to prove his loyalty.
