sometimes pro endos and anti endos should just. chill. interact. don't limit yourself to only interacting with people with morals that are 100% the same as yours. everyone's all "no one is perfect" until the imperfection is that they don't agree with you on something. like no actually flaws aren't just skills people aren't good at, they're also moral things

I said this in tags on another post, but it’s relevant and deserves its own post (I should be reading my usual pre- sleeping fic selection, BUT! I had this revelation -being sleepy is useful once again! -)

They NEEDED Steve to disappear, to be gone. To never care about Bucky anymore. That way they could treat Bucky as they see fit, and that means treating him like shit.

Steve would NEVER accept or allow Bucky to make amends, he would NEVER let the government take care of Bucky or be part of his “rehabilitation” in any way shape or form. That’s why he became Nomad, that’s why Bucky stayed in Wakanda. He would had fight with teeth and nails for Bucky.

“He died already more than once! He was a victim! A prisoner of war. He saved the fucking universe. What the fuck do you mean with amends!”

He became a wanted criminal for that same reason, to not let them have Bucky (nor other people in a fucking watchlist)

They needed Steves relationship with Bucky to become bitter, to be nothing more than a memory.

Steve being in retirement wouldn’t have cut it and…

Bucky was always going to follow Steve, no matter what.

So they needed him to stay alone (or with a companion that didn’t really care as much as Steve, enter Sam)

This way they killed two birds with one stone in Endgame: Reinforcing Steves “love” for Peggy, because “he’s NOT gay, you guys!”, and the partial isolation of Bucky.

hii! can i ask how people think butches are privileged?

i've just heard the take a couple times that women (+ adjacent) are oppressed for being feminine, rather than being women. it seems like a small difference but some follow that logic and claim that masculine and butch women *aren't* oppressed for their supposed proximity to the patriarchy. take that with a grain of salt because i dont have sources of that take, but for something similar you could observe the stereotypes of 'not like other girls,' where young women who prefer to dress casually and have men friends are said to have internalized misogyny. ultimately this serves to remove blame from men in perpetuating patriarchal values, and instead places it on gnc women, which is just a progressive way of punishing any woman who dares to be Too Masculine. genuinely ty for the question i needed to organize a few of these thoughts.

what if, in a blog of problematic daughters or innocent daughters with problematic fathers, I also made the Doctor's biological mother, the one who gave birth to the timeless child and he was ripped from her and fell through the crack of their universe, and she's been trying to get to him ever since, VERY PISSED, and she's playing on the same league as the Toymaker since she can regenerate forever (as can her "kid"), she's basically this eldritch horror who wants her KID BACK. And okay if he/she wants to stay it's also fine, she just needs to learn how not to accidentally disintegrate all living beings and they are golden.

and it's part silly for us roleplayers because hey She's A Horror Beyond Comprehension but also so emotional because the Doctor also gets a mum who wants to hug and care for and spend time with him/her/them? and the only way anyone else can interact with her is if she's met her kid and was told not to just go around murdering everybody, because otherwise they'd be nothing to her
