I used to do art streams, but I've gotten rather shy with my process in the last few years ^^;... Maybe some day I'll do another art stream.

I often think about doing game streams actually, but I don't know how many people would want to watch me play the kinds of games I play. But maybe I'll try it out anyway at some point! If it's something people are interested in.

i agree that theres zionist propaganda in the knuckles show and that it should be called out. but am i the only one who thinks that one big post about it going around (the one that sjust a bunch of screenshots with no elaboration or anything and has like 15k notes) is not doing the best job at accurately conveying whats going on in the scene or what the problem is when it comes to the content of the show itself. at least not to people who dont know what happens already. like im not accusing the op of trying to confuse people on purpose or anything its just that like i said the post doesnt really present the scene accurately and is missing a lot of context and the post in question is probably the only thing a lot of people are seeing about this when its not a very good source of information

EDIT: Wing's perspective made me question my existence so I redrew that.

I struggled to do Gabriel's armor so I drew V1 instead.

I don't think I even know how to properly render textures and stuff. Until now all rendering I do is flat color at the bottom + multiply and glow dodge layer drawn (almost all) with pure grey.

This time I tried drawing all in one layer, with who-knows-what-its-name-is-in-English watercolor brush.

Gabriel is another beast of its own. I can't even pick the flat color right. V1's blue armor is easier to handle.

Anyway, it's quite fun... but probably should've studied color theory or some rendering stuff like that.

I've been in the planning stages of a shawl-collar waistcoat for a little while, but the other day I impulsively started another shirt, this time a frilled formal one using some white linen I got on clearance a while back. since I know my way around the construction of these pretty well by now, whereas the waistcoat will be unfamiliar and require closer attention, I figured that making another shirt would be nicer as a thing to occupy my hands while I clear out the backlog of a podcast I've been listening to.

I really want to find the dog groomer one with the Afghan hound and has a cochlear implant, the dog is cute and since hard-of-hearing runs in my family, that has a bit of a personal sentimental concept there...

Anyway, my Valentine's day was pretty cool. Nothing but good luck, people were very polite and friendly, and absolutely nothing went wrong this year. 🥹

Instead of having my working yarn looped around my fingers, it’s held between my middle and pointer fingers on my left hand backwards and across my middle finger mail. Also, I use my right thumb to guide and pull the stitches on my needles

so that is my normal technique but I work a little differently for two color/stranded knitting

My right hand technique stays the same: on my left hand, I loop my yarn around my pointer and middle fingers with the color I want dominant in front. There's some science behind this and how your tension changes by having one color in front versus another, but because most of my stitches are lavender and I want my dots to 'pop' I am holding my contrasting yarn in front/my pointer finger.

HOWEVER- because I am picker (continental) versus thrower (English) this messes with my gauge and generally leads to a looser tension. My front color is worked like how I normally work it but my back color must be manipulated farther to be worked as a stitch. So when I am doing my stranded rows, I size down 2 needles sizes. This gets a little annoying for patterns like this where there's 2 stranded rows and 1 solid row, but it works for me :)
