I considered creating “blog rules” or “list of boundaries”, but I’m not sure if it’ll work on my blog 🤔 My header is pretty oversaturated as it is - portfolio, tags, navigation and so on; if I add rules to the pile, something tells me ppl won’t even look at it 💥 + I didn’t have specific issues with anyone yet (as far as I’m aware), I might create a list if something happens, but stayin hopeful for now

There’s certain things that do make me very uncomfortable/are triggering to me. But again didn’t have any specific issues where it was a huge problem + those stuff are highly personal to me to just put publicly. For now, I prefer to resolve issues personally, there wasn’t anything I couldn’t handle at this point 🫡 Mayhaps in the future it may change, we’ll see

Also some might have noticed that I don’t use any watermarks/signatures on my art, again considered that, but never ended up implementing that 🐻‍❄️ Some part of me just likes lookin at pictures in full HD quality with no watermark 😭 (I have an art signature, but I mostly use it in my mega drawings or if someone specifically asked for a commission lmao)

WOOO YEAHGH.... saw this base on @deepseaspriteblog (who also sprited the dreamer outfits, sorry i forgot to include that on the image!) for the cyclops species by @lucheek and i really wanted to make one.... and was attacked by the Pink Fever. sorgy. planning to take the general notes of this design and apply it to other species (fantroll, fankid and cherubs r def on the planner but if there's ever a lets make a rando guide which is another species by that same creator i will be THERE!!) hence why i made it a rogue of space. i saw somebody describe rogues as "one who shatters their aspect and distrubutes it among other players" n i thought that'd be a fun class for what will esentially be a multi-universe character.

“i’m so sorry sir, it won’t happen again.” you couldn’t count how many times you’ve apologized. life became a struggle when jude left for america. you’ve been so overwhelmed with keeping the house clean, organizing other papers. overall, you were a mess.

“sorry won’t cut it. you had one job, but you can’t do it. i thought you were a superstar when i hired you. this was the third time this week.” he threw the papers on his desk which scared you.

“please don’t take this the wrong way, but you assigned these papers yesterday. there is no way i could file all of them for today.” it was a mistake to talk back, yet there was no taking it back now.

“then fucking organize it by importance. listen, i don’t give a shit if other people give you other work to do. you’re so busy with your boyfriend, do you even remember that you have a job?” each word kept getting louder and louder. your ears started to ring and felt a sense of panic. next thing you knew, tears were running down your cheek.

“please excuse me.” you felt so vulnerable that you just cried in front of your boss. after closing his office door, you could hear him sigh in distress. you tried to clear up your tears, but it quickly failed since all eyes had been on you. shame had filled you to the brim. you ran down into your car while trying to excuse yourself from bumping into others.

the parking garage was only downstairs. the journey to get to your car felt like hours. thank god it was your lunch time. you forgot everything on your desk except your phone and keys. once you reached your car, the emotions spilled out. you didn’t have the guts to drive away. you just sat on the driver’s side crying until your eyes gave up. your whole body was about to give up, but your phone started ringing. a picture of jude’s smile appeared on your screen with a facetime from him. you answered only because he would get worried that something happened.

“hey beautiful, how was work?” you didn’t plan on showing your face which was the first red flag. jude was hoping to see your perfect smile. it took a minute before you answered, which was also another red flag. “hello? y/n are you there?” jude wasn’t use to your silence.

“yeah, i’m here.” after fully trying to recollect yourself, you still didn’t manage to shake off your trembling voice. you saw jude wiggle his eyebrows. you knew he figured it out. he was the only person who figured out you and your body language.

“oh y/n, what’s wrong?” jude fully sat up on his bed.

“nothing. work was fine.” now, you and him both knew damn well there was nothing wrong. jude had become determined to get you to talk.

“baby, if there’s something wrong then we can talk. i’m sorry for not being there right now, but i can still try to help you. please, let me see your face. i miss you.” you really tried to wipe away your tears. yet, the red on your face made it really obvious. you lifted your phone so jude can see you.

you saw him smile at you which left you confused. “you’re still so pretty even when you cry. talk to me, what happened?”

“my boss is an asshole jude. i had so much paperwork to do and i couldn’t finish it. i was trying to clean the house then when it was finally time for me to at least try to do work, i fucking fell asleep. jude, i don’t know what to do. i really miss you. i know you’re having a great time in america, but this is a lot to handle.” more tears came out. jude’s expression sadden to see you in such a weak mental state. “oh and not to mention, when i walked out of his office, everyone was staring. it was so embarrassing. i would drive home, but there’s nothing to drive home to.”

“y/n, i love you so much. if you ever need a break, please go take a break. quit your job if you have to. i can provide for us. it makes me sad that i can’t be next to you right now.”

I have this really big idea where the day they started dating was the one year anniversary of r and him living together

Idk if it's weird or not, but I was thinking like, she's going to her first ever riot (bc it's their anniversary, yk, that's what people do on their anniversary)

And r gets to throw a molotov for the first time :D

I feel like she was like, uncannily excited about it

Like, she had been practicing for weeks

So she chucks it and it lands straight in the unidentified and corrupt governmental official's window, blows it up

So r screams like a little girl who got a pony for her birthday, she turns and jumps onto hobie, then tugs him down and gives him a big fat kiss

and he kisses back :0

And she doesn't even notice for a while afterward she's just standing there all smiling like :]

And like, the moment she realizes it, the cops pull up and they have to split

so they're like, running from the cops while trying to figure out their relationship like, "Stop right there!! D:<" "So, are we dating, or did you..."

wc: 1.3k (failed my own 1.1k challenge but close enough) pronouns: none used; n/a warnings: fluff, some themes of social anxiety/embarrassment in public but nothing descriptive, asking about financial troubles, hao being both your mom and boyfriend, he's in zb1 in this summary: idolboyfriend!hao has to come rescue reader when their card declines at the grocery store and he is not prepared to find out the reason it's maxed out. ~masterlist~ ♡ ~kofi (no pressure at all)~ so i wrote this to see if i could force myself to limit to under 1.1k words... i have a tendency to get carried away and not as many people like longer fics so. i failed bc i went 200 words over but it was a pretty close. anyway if i write shorter works, i can write more so i want to get back in the habit of it. better for my stress levels too lmao. just finished my second "semester" back at school i'm so happy!! third semester stars 7/3 tho so that's annoying but. i have one whole week to do nothing (except work but). ANYWAY hope you enjoy :)

“(Y/N)?” You hear your boyfriend’s voice as he enters the grocery shop. Even though Zhang Hao is quite reserved, he’s more than willing to make a small scene if you’re in trouble. “(Y/N)!?”

The store owner, who is also manning the checkout counter, lifts his arm high enough for Hao to see it over the aisles, pointing at you exaggeratedly— more than unamused.

Hao rushes over to where you stand in the checkout lane; your groceries half-bagged, half sitting askew on the conveyor belt. A couple people are beginning to line up behind you. He frowns, trying to decipher what about this scene could’ve possibly made you text him: 

🚨 EMERGENCY AT MARKET!! PLEASE COME HELP!! 🚨

“Honey, what’s wrong?” He asks, brows furrowed in confusion. “You said there was an emergency!”

“Is not being able to pay for your large grocery order after someone has already gone through the trouble to scan and bag most of it an emergency?” The owner asks, resentful eyes still locked on your embarrassed ones. 

Hao starts to open his mouth to respond, but the owner cuts him off. “I’ll answer for you. It is an emergency... if the owner forgot to pay his utilities bill and the electricity went out while his wife was curling her hair for work this morning.”

Your boyfriend glances at you then back at the store owner. “Right…”

“I tried to just leave, but he kept this exact same rant going for ten minutes,” you whisper to him as the owner continues to moan and groan about how his wife chased him around the house with a slipper. “I’m really sorry to bother you. I know how busy you are.”

Hao shakes his head definitively. “It doesn’t matter how busy I am— I’ll always have time to help you out,” he says with an affectionate smile, raising his hand to squeeze your right shoulder comfortingly. “As long as you continue to conveniently call when I’m already on lunch break.”

You sigh, looking back down at your shoes in embarrassment.

“Did you forget your credit card? Is that the issue?” Hao asks, taking his wallet out of his back pocket before you even answer.

The store owner laughs. “Worse. It declined.”

Hao looks at you concernedly. Maxing out your credit card was not like you at all. Despite the occasional shopping splurge, you were usually quite practical with money. The look of worry on Hao’s face is valid. 

Still, he hands his own credit card to the store owner and begins throwing some of your grocery items into bags himself. As the owner hands Hao his receipt and credit card back, you pick up a few of the bags and head toward the sliding doors. Hao grabs the last bag and follows quickly behind you.

When you’re outside, you breathe a deep sigh of relief; even a couple of people’s annoyed stares had caused your heart to speed up and your body temperature to rise. Hao falls into step beside you, but it takes you a few moments to relax enough to remember he’s there.

When you finally look over at him, he smiles reassuringly. The token introvert had set aside his nature (and sacrificed his coveted lunch break) to rescue you. And he’d also paid for your groceries.

“I’ll pay you back,” you promise softly, cheeks turning rosy once more.

Hao purposely bumps into your side as you walk, trying to get you to smile and break your tension. It works. You scrunch your nose up at him in a smile and he glues himself to your side, hooking a finger in your back pocket to keep you as close as possible as you make your way down the quiet street.

After another few moments of comfortable silence, Hao clears his throat. “So,” he starts, trying his best to sound nonchalant. “Are you behind on credit card payments? There’s no shame in it; it happens.”

“No,” you answer simply, shaking your head as you steal a glance at your boyfriend. You watch as his brow furrows in confusion.

“Oh,” he replies, lips forming a small pout. “Well, you know you could tell me if you were, right? I'd do my best to help you if that’s what you needed.”

“I know,” you say with a smile, watching again as he blinks curiously-- trying to figure out what the problem could be. “I’d tell you if I was having financial problems. I'd refuse your help, but I would tell you.”

“Right,” he affirms, nodding as if to convince himself that he could end his interrogation there. He fails, of course, and an unstoppable flurry of questions begins to fall from his lips. “So... So what happened? Did the card expire or something? Why didn’t you use your debit card? There’s money on your debit card, right? And I know you despise cash, but--.”

You stop walking and Hao’s finger still hooked in the pocket of your jeans pulls him back to face you. “There is an incredibly simple explanation for this,” you explain, placing your grocery bags on the ground for a moment as you pull your credit card out of your phone case. “This card isn’t my usual credit card. It’s a very limited credit account that I opened for a specific purchase. It looks almost identical to my actual credit card I use on a normal basis so I grabbed this one by accident before I left this afternoon. I was in a rush and couldn’t find my debit card, so I took what I thought was my credit card thinking I’d be fine, but... I was obviously not fine.”

“Ohhh,” Hao sighs, nodding in both comprehension and relief. “Well that makes a lot more sense. I was worried about you! I didn’t think you’d suddenly developed some sort of debilitating shopping addiction, but...”

“Rest assured,” you soothe, picking your bags back up and continuing with your boyfriend down the street to the bus stop. “I have plenty of money. I wish I had more, of course. But it’s enough to survive for now.”

“Are you sure you want to take the bus?” Hao asks, running his hand down your back comfortingly. “I can drive you.”

“No, you can’t,” you reply, taking the last grocery bag from his hands and draping it on your arm. You rummage through it for a moment before pulling out a fresh deli sandwich. “Your lunch break is almost over and I've used up all of it already. So, eat this on the way back to Wakeone or I will find you and I will shove it down your throat myself.”

“I can see you’re back to normal,” Hao says with a grin, taking the boxed sandwich in his hand as you reach the bus stop. “I love you.”

“Love you more,” you say, checking to make sure no one is around before kissing his cheek. His eyes closed, he sighs blissfully.

Your bus makes its way around the corner, pulling to a stop in front of you. 

“Oh, I forgot to ask,” Hao says quickly as you walk up the steps. “What was the purchase that you opened that new credit card for?”

You turn around, biting your lip in a smile. “I bought 40 copies of your debut album!”

“YOU DID WHAT!?”

You’re not sure if you’ve ever seen Zhang Hao more shocked than he is right now. You’re lucky the sandwich box didn’t fly out of his hand and onto the sidewalk. 

“It’s okay: I’m pretty sure I made a good investment!” You call back with a wink to your boyfriend, whose jaw is still dropped as the bus door begins to close. “Didn’t I?”

All Hao can do is nod-- a slow, exaggerated nod as he processes what you’ve said.

You wave at him, grinning-- any embarrassment you had felt ten minutes ago entirely washed away. Zhang Hao may have had to buy your groceries for you, but you think you might’ve already paid him back.

As the doors close, you call to a now smiling but awestruck Hao:

“You’re welcome!”

thoughts/review on 2.4 (and a little bit of au talk)

i got yunli!! and e3 yanqing on huohuo's banner... at least i have guaranteed sunday now i guess

ouhhhh i finished the new quests... yanqing i love you....... (spoilers under cut)

seeing the designs for the borisin reminded me of an au i thought of a while back. i just call it the 'abundance swap' au. the idea is that instead of the xianzhou following the hunt, what if they were denizens of abundance? so like, xianzhou natives would be wingweavers, foxians would be borisin, and vidyadhara.... could be cobrakind...? or still vidyadhara. idk. the xianzhou fleet would be the cloudseizer fleet(?), the plaguemarks would instead be worshipped and nurtured, and they would spread the 'blessings of abundance' to each world they stop by. the arbiter-generals would instead have spirits bestowed by yaoshi instead of lan.

blondies would be more common, philosophies of the hunt would probably be forbidden, and most people would likely know some form of healing. what do they do with the mara struck? im not sure, actually...

ok one of the reasons i thought of this au was bc i liked the thought of wingweaver/borisin yanhuo but shhh... girls should be allowed to be beasts...

i had more thoughts abt this au but lowkey forgot like half of them... maybe ill make a follow up post once i remember

anyway, back to 2.4

oh maaaan oh man oh man oh man im glad yanqing's finally getting more attention in the main story!! he was kinda tossed around in 1.2 and in kafka's companion mission but got some attention during the huohuo event (fav event <3) and now he's a major part in the main story... this patch was made for yanqingers by yanqingers<33

hes depressed just like me fr... also, this pic was so pretty....

ok but seriously, im glad that his confidence issues were talked about here. it was brushed off in 1.2 and sword essence ended with an off screen conversation with yanqing and jing yuan. it talked about his problems a bit, but was left sorta unresolved, yk? im glad that he's not just instantly fine and recovered right away.

this conversation also gave me more insight on yanqing's feelings and personality. theres a lot of pressure being the cloud knight lieutenant, but when he uses his swords, that pressure is lifted, even for a moment. he's free, like a bird, but must eventually return to his birdcage.

this version rlly helped me understand yanqing's character more, and hopefully i can improve bnp(som) when i rewrite it, but for now i'll stick with practice oneshots.

i haven't finished much for the new march event, but HUOHUO!!!! HUOHUO IS HERE!!! AND SHE'S BEAUTIFUL!!!<333

And she doesn't date anyone here, I was gonna put she dates Erik bc he's like super hot but not gonna do that, but I also considered Alex but he's dead so.

I was also inspired by a xmen oc I saw online called "Remnant" so credits for them by matching the shadow and precognition abilities (I only thought about the shadow thingy since my mcu days HAHHAHA)

When Using Powers:

Eyes turn into white in her irises and Black in her Cornea and Pupils

Black shadows comes out of her hands, But when using all of her powers it comes out in her upper body (like Raven)

Backstory:

She had learned of her powers at the age of 7 and 8. She had lost control of her powers and had covered her school in a shadow dome. She was taken by Stryker at age of 9 to be with other imprisoned mutant saved by Wolverine (Origins). After being saved, she escaped with other group of mutants to live independently. It last up to 5 years (14) until they were caught by the government who had sent them to Xavier's School for gifted youngsters. In the span of 5 years she had learn how to generate her own darkness and try to control her visions.

In the school she was taught how to use her abilities in combat, offense and defense. She had also learned how to properly handle her visions (as she wore gloves growing up). At school she had befriended Jean and Jubilee. She was 17 when apocalypse came and she officially joined the XMEN to fight him. Throughout her teens up to her 20s, she had found her passion in writing, journalism, politics and science. Hence why she had become a part time assistant of Hank McCoy when she was 17. She is now 21, she had already published 2 books, works at a Media company where her works only required to make at home, and she handles the media affairs of the Xavier's School for gifted youngsters, she will be the one to speak with if ever there will be interviews, events or mission that the Xmen will be needed, she is also the one who reports incidents or events in the school, she is also the one who handles whenever tje school or Xmen have a scandal and she runs a journalism club (newscope) (teaches them to write, report, take photos).

Discovery:

Her first vision was when she was only 7 and had touch a ground where in the past it was blown up. She had more visions from the past, present and future. Yet nobody believed her.

Discovery:

Only a year she had discovered she was a mutant, she hid her abilities not until when she was 8 where she was shocked to discover she can manipulate existing shadows. She had found out by being mad she had completely dimmed out the room. But growing up, learning and developing her capabilities she had learned to generate her own darkness and not rely on existed dark.
