Okay everyone I've done it.

HERE is the new link to the cogdemos.ink version of The Lonely Shore. I'll be going through and updating all of my links quick here before bed. I'll port over the 2k special and the preview for ch3 tomorrow.

I'm going to go ahead and delete the demo off of dashingdon. I'm deeply sorry, because I know this will destroy everyone's saves, but this is what I'm most comfortable with.

Also. Technically this new demo has some ~bells and whistles~ that weren't in the old demo. There is now a stats mode (lets you know which stats are being changed/tested), a romance indicator mode (shows a little heart for romance-based choices), and a photo mode (not actually relevant yet, but will be in the upcoming chapter).

In addition, you can now select a nickname that Willow calls MC in addition to their name; there are two new job options (tattoo artist & unemployed); and skills have been. Um. Completely changed.

The stats screen looks quite different, so feel free to poke around if you'd like when you next do a playthrough. There's the new Keepsakes page I've mentioned before, as well as a Traits & Skills page, which is where you'll be able to see how I'm doing skills now.

Mxtx finally unlocked svsss in jjwxx but she removed wedding extra, deep dream extra and papapa to save the world scene.. so much bingqiu is removed but praying we can now finally get s2 or audio drama.💀

Yeahhh I’ve heard!!! Let’s pray for season 2 and an audio drama!!

It’s definitely sad so much Bingqiu is removed from jjwxx, but I’m honestly not pressed about it at all, especially when the original is archived on so many sites. (I personally keep a pdf of the original CN ver LOL)

On the bright side MXTX can finally profit off of these amazing stories they’ve written! Chinese censorship definitely sucks, but compared to the other versions of censorship I’ve seen, this is certainly more tame. (I’ve seen some where the entire story is just wiped out 😭😭)

Personally I’m still gonna use the unrevised version as canon. (And if I ever get to creating an unofficial SVSSS manhua,, EVERY PAPAPA SCENE IS STAYING HAHAHA)

not to talk about bleak shit on main but truly, i wish neil gaiman had just kept his mouth shut at this point. his tumblr went dead fucking silent as soon as the first allegations dropped, and that spoke volumes to me - this was a man who regularly answered asks and engaged with the platform and to this day the last post there was six months ago. he knew he was fucked. but to then go on his web blog, a site where (let's be honest) only his most loyal fans are likely to be tracking activity, and give several paragraphs of wishy-washy handwaving about "misinformation" and claims snowballing into untruths and whatever else. like. neil. stop. my respect for you is already dead in the ground, stop pissing on its grave.

lo! the conclusion of my phanfic bookbinding quest!

I finished binding together two final books! each one is a 144-page, 28,863-word collection of six of the phanfics i've written in 2024. the book with the starry-cover is unquestionably the neatest, prettiest book i've made since I started learning about bookbinding back in august. but i'm actually kind of emotional over both of them and think they turned out to be really cool objects.

Okay but side note i got an idea. And the idea is writing fanfiction about my favourite fanfic.

Get this; robert drops his camera somewhere and mr cycle has to go get it for him- but mr cycle still doesnt know about roberts vision quirk, so hes a bit lost on why robert cant get it himself.

I am LOSING my MIND over the idea, and i just have this one line stuck in my head of when robert tells mr cycle why he couldnt get his camera on his own, and mr cycles only concern is that this whole time he hasnt been looking robert in the eyes and AUHDHDHD

I think ive lost it, but would you guys be interested if i made a little one shot thing about that here on tumblr?
