Michael Design (maybe)
This is my attempt of designing what Michael would look like (??) since idk if solmare is going to release a sprite for him in the last lesson so i took the matter into my own hands lol
I picture him as a tall man with long hair. blond, tan and brown eyes. some moles on his face and feminine features.
Tumblr media
I used mostly Belph, Sims, and Satan’s angel forms as inspiration since it’s the ones i like the most out of everyone.
Glasses version:

This is still a work in progress bc i have never designed a character in my life so i’m not fully convinced this is what i want
Im open to suggestions btw!
Also, i’ve been trying to color this following official designs but it’s so hard for me to mix pastels and bright colors tgt and making it look good so😭😭 the struggle is real.
anyways enough of my rant. i will post it when it’s completed😝😝

The Archangel Michael
Artist: Giuseppe Cesari (Italian, 1568–1640)
Date: 1624-1626
Medium: Oil on Canvas
Collection: Minneapolis Institute of Art, Minneapolis, Pennsylvania, United States
Michael the Archangel
Michael the archangel is described in the Bible, in the books of Daniel, Jude, and Revelation, as a warrior angel who engages in spiritual combat. The word archangel means “angel of the highest rank.” Most angels in the Bible are portrayed as messengers, but Michael is described in all three books as contending, fighting, or standing against evil spirits and principalities (Daniel 10:13; 21; Jude 1:9; Revelation 12:7). We do not have a full picture of any angel, and only two are named in the Bible (Gabriel is the other). Scripture only gives us hints of their movements during human events, but it is safe to say that Michael the archangel is a powerful being.

the trope of michael being less important does something to my brain. like you were practically fated to rebel and fall but you were gods favorite and hung the stars and no matter how close in proximity i am both literally and through service you retain this influence and empty space in place of your old self WHAAAAAT

Why does Cain wear different clothes from the rest of his family?
From a very young age, Cain showed typical angelic aversion to animal products. He doesn’t eat meat and can’t wear clothes made from animal fur or skin! Hence him eventually becoming a farmer and artisan. As a toddler, he developed a horribly painful rash that threatened his life. Luckily Gosh sent his uncle Michael to provide some clothes and healing for the boy.  Extra note: Michael was fully aware of what Cain was, but he told Eve and Adam to just ignore his differences, saying he was simply a ‘special child blessed by heaven’ to explain his abilities. Heaven didn't want to further encourage rebellion from Eve by reminding her of her ex lover. But of course, some things about Cain (specifically his ability to bend and influence light) would always make her think of Lucifer.

Does anyone have offering ideas for St. Michael? I already have an altar for him but there is a very small amount of offerings due to me not knowing what to add for him.

For @midamappreciationweek
I've read many fics where Jack got Michael back from the Empty for a lot of reasons: Adam, to manage Heaven, someone to split his Power with, things like that.
But what about this: Michael never went to the Empty. When Chuck pulverized him, the fragments of his Grace simply remained there in the air. So after Jack brought all the humans back, Adam's soul naturally called for Michael's Grace: they had spent so much time together, that one could simply not exist without the other.
Jack was quite intrigued by them, while Castiel could not believe his eyes.

just remembered a writing prompt where you can only summon angels, a powerful skill but is deemed useless as most angels are hesitant when it comes to violence. But unfortunately for your enemies they've forgotten that your abilities extend to fallen angels as well
and I just remembered that I watched Hazbin Hotel...
so what if when trying to summon Michael you make a lil' mistake in the sigil (or whatever) and summon this lil' goofy duck man who claims to be Lucifer Morningstar ruler of hell?
And then this lil' guy has to deal with the people who were just about to murder you

The other day someone asked me how I would describe Michael.
For me, Michael is like sunlight.  At his best he is charismatic and almost always in a good mood, and keeps a calm persona regardless of what is happening.  Being in his presence is warm and never a drain on my energy.  But there's a tiredness or weariness to him sometimes that I don't think a person can feel, not on the level he feels it.  It's not always present, but he slips into it from time to time and he knows other people can sense it, but it feels like he smiles through it always.  He wants to be supportive and doesn't like to ask for support in return but won't shirk away from it.  He likes to be more informal but in a way that makes it seem like he's not always been that way.  He has an appreciation for small things that I often overlooked before, and that makes me appreciate them too.  He's quiet, but his quietness doesn't take away from how strong his energy or presence feels.  He never seems to struggle with what he wants to say or convey, but he will sometimes hold back and makes me figure it out on my own.  Not in a tricksy way like Loki likes to do to me, but I'm not sure how I would describe it.
Really I could ramble on but I think that hits all the big points.  And, of course, this is just my experience with him.
It got me wondering what he is like for other people. I'm a firm believer in the complexity of divine beings and how they will be what we need or want them to be, so no two people are experiencing the same being. I know someone who I am sure sees an almost entirely different Michael than me.
Makes me curious how others would describe their partners or spouses.
