got the chance to pinch hit for the @spnangelbang for the excuse of drawing Adam as a unicorn which is something I didn't realize I needed to draw, a bold move for someone who can't draw horses. also even though this art looks weirdly...idk like it is, the fic is kinda dark so keep that in mind

for the first time I made a banner that doesn't involve a table or tree let's goo. decided to make this one a map with various fic-related elements on it (plus the band from the fic connecting the words in the title) and tried to kinda show the age of it by adding smudgy ink spots and a coffee stain and yeah idrk what I was doing here but the inspiration was an old map with fairytale-y vibes. this was made back when I thought the fic was more of a fairytale but it's actually not all that much of one. basically there's a reason the unicorn is black and it's not for aesthetic purposes

picked up this fic because unicorn reasons and unicorn reasons has manifested in the form of an art piece, albeit with a smaller canvas because I was on a bit of a time crunch. went crazy with layers on the background of this and idk how it turned out looking half decent when I'm pretty sure my eyes were at least a quarter of the way closed while I was doing this because it was very late. also Michael was supposed to be invisible but I couldn't make it look decent so he's just hiding behind the tree instead. also also I know his hair looks kinda like Dean's I can't stop thinking about that fact okay. also also also that other dude in the dark green robe is an OC from the fic and idk why he gives me Metatron vibes but he's very much not

this fic ended up being a lot darker than I thought it was gonna be so the art doesn't entirely match the vibe, especially since my art style tends to struggle with making things overly angsty or serious. I made another art piece to try to make up for that and came up with this. I don't think I've ever tried to draw a pained expression or anything even resembling cuts on someone's skin so it does look a bit wonky. tried to mirror the other art piece by having Michael in a similar position except actually somewhat in Adam's line of sight. this scene was originally a little more idk romantic I guess but that didn't fit the vibe of the fic too much and man I think I definitely went overboard with all the cuts (although that brush seems like a good fit for this kind of thing, gotta keep that in mind)
