I am not sure if Kinich knows what being romantic means, not that he had any clear examples of it at home. He’ll try his best to make you happy and show you his love though, even if it’s in a rather unconventional way like making sure you drank enough water or giving you some fruits he picked up on an expedition

Trust is very important in a relationship, and Kinich is aware of that. He would be a bit reluctant to talk about things like his childhood and past traumas but once you two get closed, he’d feel like hiding things away from you would only be detrimental

I don’t think getting with Kinich would take that much time, knowing how insistent his companion could be, you’d be aware of his feelings fairly quickly, making things actually easier for the both of you

So, I feel like Azriel would absolutely love the idea of settling down, in concept but would be really scared to do so, not because he's unsure of his feelings for you, no not at all, he loves you wholeheartedly sometimes a bit too much he'd be scared because he thinks you might change your mind. That he isn't good enough or he'll taint your innocence what innocence? It will definitely be a few years, maybe even decades before he is certain you won't leave him for someone "better". Azriel's brow furrows. "What do you mean?" He could see you desperately trying to hold in your laughter, but failed, and sunk to the floor, not able to breathe from how hard you were laughing. He could see Rhysand also fighting it off, but his face cracked, and he to, joined in, Feyre and Mor were not far behind.

"What? What is wrong with my hair?" Nobody could pause their hysterics long enough to say something. He stood in confusion until Amren, the only one who wasn't laughing at all said "It's bright blue, boy" that for some reason unleashed a new wave of giggles and Nesta cracked a smile.

He looked to the mirror hung in the hall, seeing that his hair was indeed a pastel blue, with flecks of purple near the ends. The truth was, he knew his hair would be an unusual colour today, his shadows had caught you buying the magic hair-dye, but he let you swap out his shampoo, as to not spoil your fun.

Even if he hadn't known, the look on your face said everything. "You are lucky I love you" he said, shaking his head and sighing, your smile only broadened at his words, your arms flung around his mid-section and face nuzzled in his chest. "I love you too"

If you ask him, he'll probably say when you said 'I love you' for the first time, or that time you woke up after a peaceful night, just looking at him with love but really, it was when he was pissed at Rhys and Cassian for disregarding his dislike of the Illyrians because they wanted him to 'embrace his culture'.

Rhys had sent him to go talk with Devlon and a number of other camp lords when they both had the afternoon completely free, spending it with their mates as if he didn't have a mate too.

After he got back, he had gone straight to you, and you had listened to him while combing your fingers through his hair. He had finally dragged himself downstairs to give Rhysand the news on the camps with you following behind him a few paces.

You waited outside the door, Azriel had opened it, about to leave when Rhys said he also wanted the report of some other mission by tomorrow morning. Azriel didn't even say anything, he'd just sighed and a muscle in his jaw ticked, then Rhysand had made some comment about his attitude, it was spoken with a light tone, but you had had it with his crap.

You had started berating him, yelling, really laying on it, not even letting him get a word in. Not that he could, he was too stunned.

Cassian had made the grave mistake of seeing what the commotion was. You brought him into it. Both Rhys and Cass had to just take it like children being scolded for taking an extra cookie. Neither would meet your eyes when you were done.

You grabbed Azriels hand, pulling him along as you stormed out. Once rounding the corner, you winnowed both you and Azriel to your house muttering under your breath. The only words he actually caught was "Fuck them" before you pulled him into bed and you simply cuddled for the rest of the night and well into the morning.

Az is your personal body guard and the shadows are the surveillance cameras. No one in Velaris is safer.

He needs no physical protection, he needs emotional protection. He needs you to guard his heart like a dragon guarding treasure. He needs you to occasionally remind him to stand up for himself against Rhysand and Cassian because he deserves good things too.

In the beginning, he is trying to impress you, to convey how much he feels for you through the dates as he struggles to articulate the enormity of his love. Like booking out theaters, really fancy dinners, picnics with way too much food and so on it's honestly overwhelming.

He eventually dials it back, finding a good balance of well thought out but not OTT (Over The Top). Every once in a while though, he'll still do an extra something.

His tendency to shrink into himself when he's in pain, to ignore his needs, to put what he wants on the back burner to focus on everyone else.

See, the massive injustice of Azriel is that he barely gives 2 shit's, as long as he looks somewhat presentable, he couldn't be bothered to do anything more.

He always felt incomplete, before he met you, there was a hole, after he met you, that hole was slowly filled up with your laugh, smile, and touch. If he had to lose you, that hole would be ten times as large and gaping, because the entire foundation of his very being went with you.

He can handle pretty much anything. There isn't much that could actually detour him from someone he truly loves. He puts up with Rhysand and Cassian every day for cauldrons' sake, but the one thing that is necessary is silence.

Whenever he collapses is entirely up to the mother... unless his ultimate weakness coaxes him into something more regular. He can't go after you have fallen asleep because you hold on to him, he can't just leave in the middle of the night, you'd be cold, and when you inevitably request that he stay an extra 5 minutes, those papers on his desk just have to wait, his mate is more important.

You two were probably just chilling in his room hanging out like usual and after that is just pure silence

He slowly looks at you and then what happens next is dependent on how you react

If you tell him you also loved him, with an romantic undertone he’d flush but not argue because believe it or not

Now the next is him waiting a long time, well I lied

There is no world where he’d take a long ass time because he either blurts it out when you’re about to kiss or something, Larry teases him about it and tells you for him (on accident) or something else ensues

Highschool was the only way you could actively be near each other and Sal loved having classes with you soley because he got to hang out with you

That continues even as adults

Also the reason why you ended up moving in with Sal because he wanted to desperately hang out with you but couldn’t because you were unable to due to jobs, higher education, etc

Because of the cult and paranormal, fighting becomes essential at one point and no longer a choice

The same goes for him, he’s so obvious when he’s upset or feeling a negative emotion

Sal shows you affection in the obvious ways

When sals sleeping he can hold out on sleeping for awhile but then it’s lights out 💀

When sleeping in the same bed as Sal he’s honestly a pretty good sleeper

Even in his sleep he’s considerate and you never have problems sharing blankets or space

The only time either of you would ever fall off would be if your own accords (in which Sal probably has)

I mean most times you’re cuddling so there’s no issues there, especially if it’s cold

I’d say Rafes love language is both physical touch and acts of services. He loves having a hand on you at all times, it helps him feel grounded when he feels your skin on his, plus it’s a way to show you off. Rafe loves doing things for you, it makes him feel manly and proactive, sometimes it’s him making sure you don’t bump into anything or him bringing you breakfast after a long night!

Mornings are usually spent tangled between each other on the kings side bed, sometimes Rafe is already in the shower when you wake up and sometimes he’s on the balcony porch overlooking the backyard, he’ll be sitting on one of the couches dressed in just his grey sweatpants manspreading his legs and patting his thigh for you to join.

Rafe can be romantic, like I said he doesn’t go over the top in a show off way, but in private he will. He doesn’t feel the need to show his love to you for the purpose of others but he will do anything you ask! You want to go shopping? He’s already in the car, you want to go on a vacation? He’s already preparing the private jet!

Rafe absolutely loves it! Like I said he’s a possessive guy, so nothing feels better than to walk around Outer Banks with his hand on your lower back as you cling to his arm dressed in a cute dress and kitten heels! Ford would choose to show his affection for you with actions. Words are not going to be lacking, but showing you how he feels rather than saying it is much easier. So outside of shyness, this man is full of affection and tenderness; and always ready to let you know it. There isn't a day where you don't find his gaze full of love, with a smile painted on his face and his fingers trembling with the need to caress your cheek.

Here is something to consider regarding three primary moments.

Arriving in Gravity Falls, Ford turns out to be an educated and interesting man. He is young, with a bright future and lots of fresh ideas. You meet him during a walk in the woods; it could also be outside a store, where you make conversation and help him carry his groceries. Be that as it may, you and Ford promise to meet again, and inevitably become very good friends. He enjoys a company to surprise with his discoveries, feeding his ego as a scientist and first-time researcher; and you find a place of comfort among books and secrets that fill your head with fantasies and stories. He is a trustworthy man, with a kind heart and good intentions. He is an extremely pleasant person.

During the construction and management of the portal Ford becomes paranoid and insufferable. He begins to become selfish, and even borders on narcissistic as his head fills with voices that lead him down strange and disturbing paths; his dreams destroyed as he seems to coexist with those who don't belong in his world. Needless to say, at this point your friendship with him fragments. Ford does not seem to trust you, and his words as well as his treatment of you are given with violence and bad taste.

Today, returning after so many years, Ford is a man weighed down by the miseries he had to suffer as payment for his past ambition. You find in his eyes the ghost of regret; and although it is difficult to completely forget the pain and mistreatment, it does not cost you much to reconcile to recover the bond that had been suspended in time. That Ford you missed, with his sweet eyes and sensitive heart, has returned. Your best friend.

C= Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

Ford loves to give hugs, although it's not something he recognizes as such. He does it almost unconsciously. Sometimes you are sitting on the couch or in his study, in peace, other times even outside soaking up the sun and watching the kids play; and you will find his arm hanging off the back, wrapping around your shoulders so he can find a space to rest or to feel closer to you. It is trust and affection that lead this man to feel at home with those people who are special to him. You are already family!

D= Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

The idea of settling down fits Ford like a glove. At first it's complicated, because all his attention and commitment goes to science. But if he can find someone who can fit into his lifestyle, the option certainly begins to feel possible.

Now... let's see. First you have to keep in mind that this guy has been lost in other dimensions for years. All he knows about recipes are abominations impossible to find in the human world. It's as simple as that. Despite this, Ford is quick to learn; so a recipe book, and some help, can get this guy to master the skill and make friends in the kitchen.

As for the rest, Ford is not a dirty man but a messy one. He understands himself, just the same. It's as if the mess works in patterns and guides him to everything he needs… that, or he just forgets and doesn't say anything so as not to embarrass himself. Whatever it is, someone help this man.

E= Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

It's hard for him, but he does it quickly and without spinning. Ford likes to get it over with as quickly as possible so he doesn't have to keep seeing your face. It's like taking a stab in his heart—the need to take you in his arms becomes dangerous.

F= Fiance (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

The idea of marriage doesn't enter his head until he meets someone with whom he feels he is entirely compatible. Other than that, Ford is a man who is not afraid of commitment in any form.

G= Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

Extremely gentle. Ford is a tender man, with feelings that hurt against his chest because of the intensity with which he allows himself to be affected by those he cherishes. Physically he can be clumsy, but he is gentle nonetheless.

H= Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it and what is it like?)

He likes them without a doubt. He doesn't ask for it much, though; but he accepts them without a problem. He always does it with a smile. He thinks the gesture is nice.

I= I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

It takes him quite a while to say it without a problem. It's not that he doesn't feel it, it's that he just has a hard time with it. Chances are you'll end up saying it first, and eventually Ford will have the confidence to take the initiative and take you by surprise. As he does so his eyes twinkle, and the corners of his lips twitch with the birth of a shy smile.

Ford is not a particularly jealous man. If he does feel that way, he is likely to frown and look annoyed or uncomfortable. He would be embarrassed to admit that such an attitude was the result of a jealous rage.

His kisses are slow and sensual. Ford loves to kiss you on the lips, forehead and neck.

Ford tends to be a fun and sweet man around children. He's responsible, and you can easily tell he enjoys taking care of them. He tires quickly, though.

Despite having a lot of projects on his plate, not sleeping and, sometimes, not eating properly, Ford has an uncanny knack for waking up early. Although there is always something to research or do, Ford prefers to take a moment to enjoy a role-playing campaign, a movie or a walk with you if the evening is perfect to allow it. Sometimes the time is perfect to lie in bed, with a couple of hot drinks or sweet snacks, and some books. It doesn't matter what; but Ford has to spend the nights with you if you're there. There is no way to miss a moment that is special to him.

Many of his secrets, or special details, are things Ford has told you long ago. After his return from the portal, it will be difficult for him to continue to share many others with you—but it's not impossible.

If you meet Ford after his return from the portal for the first time in your entire life, it's going to cost him three times as much. It is assumed that in this case you are new and that leads to distrust, fear of rejection and ridicule.

P= Patience (How easily are they angered?)

Not so easily. Ford is patient.

Does he remember your favorite flavor? But of course. Does he remember that day, on that date, back then, more than ten years ago...? But please, of course he does. This is Ford we're talking about; this guy does role-playing campaigns, runs his own library on alien languages, and has even gone so far as to learn the colors you don't like about the candy you two eat on movie nights. He always sets them aside for you to eat in peace. He always remembers.

R= Remember (What is their favorite moment of your relationship?)

To have met you. To run into you was to have given him the opportunity to have an amazing person like you in his life. That day surpasses any other discovery—coming to Gravity Falls, and seeing you with his own eyes. You are now a part of his life; every day is an ideal moment. In the bad, and in the good.

S= Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? how would they like to be protected?)

Ford keeps an eye on you whenever you accompany him on his quests deep in the forest. He is more than ready to fight to keep you out of danger, using his weapons or even his hands if necessary. Taking care of others is a priority.

But speaking of himself, Ford wouldn't know exactly how he would like to be protected. Maybe have his life saved if he finds himself cornered; but it would be difficult considering his experience. It's difficult if he has someone on the side to look out for, of course. If that person is also experienced, then he would like to fight side by side. It would be fun.

T= Try (How much effort do they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

A lot of effort, although it is quite clumsy and in the end requires the help of someone else to put his ideas in order. If it's about his feelings it's hard not to lose his head in the process.

Despite being a sweet person, Ford can become quite inconsiderate when there is something he wants/desires very much, and in turn there is someone in the way to reach that goal. From hurtful or uncomfortable words, to acts that go so far as to make you feel abandoned. It's as if there's a button in his head; something that transforms him into a silent, dark and detached man from the real world.

Also, Ford can end up being very overprotective; and even have narcissistic attitudes for which it is better to walk away for a moment so as not to start a fight. It's not always.

V= Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

Not too much. The most you've seen him struggle is with his beard. Ford prefers to incinerate it for an instant tidy look... and not so safe, though.

In the beginning, yes, definitely. It would take Ford years to get over your loss, and there would even come a point where he would have to accept living with that pain if he can't fill the void, or understand that you're not coming back.

If he were to overcome it, there would be times when homesickness would hit him hard; but he could go on with life as usual. Ford has suffered enough losses already—one more shouldn't stop him in his tracks.

X= Xtra (A random headcanon for them)

Ford can sleep anywhere, and in almost any position. It's a skill he's acquired over time. Sometimes it takes you by surprise to arrive at the cabin at night, and find him fast asleep in corners that make you feel as if you're going to wake up with an intense pain in your neck. It is enviable, especially at his age.

Violent, delusional, crazy and demonic people. Especially if they happen to be creatures from some other dimension with anger issues.

If you put your shoulder near him, chances are Ford will eventually drop his head on it. Sometimes he even goes so far as to intertwine his fingers with yours.

You’re always helping out around the lair, hanging with his brothers and Master Splinter (his family is the most important thing in the world to him), and just taking care of everyone but especially him.

💜B is for Bloom: what flowers does he give you? Of course he knows your very favorite! But personally, Donatello also loves to give you stargazer lilies (purity, innocence, sympathy) and purple roses (enchantment, mystery, love). He likes to leave a single bloom on your pillow or windowsill, just so you know that he’s thinking of you.

💜C is for Caring: how does he care for you? How do you care for him? Donnie cares for you through acts of service. He likes helping you in any way he can, fixing stuff around your apartment, putting up a security system, anything! Ask and you shall receive. But Donnie needs to be cared for by force. He’ll work and work until he’s at the point of falling apart if you let him so don’t let him. Make him take a break, take a shower, get something to eat, you're the perfect temptation for it. As long as he gets to cuddle with you and mumble about some program he’s working on or a machine he’s trying to fix up, he’ll let himself be distracted for a while.

💜D is for Date: what is date night like? Going out is, obviously, not doable. So you stay in, sometime at the lair and sometimes (for more privacy) at your place. Order some take out (he loves pizza, of course, and Chinese), cuddle up on the couch, and watch a show together. Donnie prefers TV over movies and you always have a show you watch. But he’s a romantic at heart and expresses it softly. Stringing up fairy lights to set the mood, buying your favorite foods when you’re down, dancing with you to love songs. And he always takes a picture, Donnie has a little box full of memories from past dates.

💜E is for Eye: what catches his eye? Donatello’s a sucker for a girl in a pretty dress or skirt, a pair of glasses perched on her nose, or a cute smile/laugh. Wearing purple also works, he loves seeing his favorite color on you! Any of these are sure to catch his eye, he’ll be sneaking glances and flirting all night long.

💜F is for Fervent: how does he express his passion? Softly and quietly. Donnie struggled to put it into words without rambling and sounding like an idiot, so he shuts up and just shows you how he feels through just touching you. He holds your hand (and especially loves when you walk holding onto his arm), plays with your hair, hides his face in your neck and kisses it, whispering sweet nothings into you. If he’s really fervent, his kisses will become messy and frantic, laughter spilling into the air.

💜G is for Gifts: what sort of gifts does he give and receive? He likes to make you things, from fixing up old electronics (to the point that they work way better, it’s super impressive and a side gig of his) to making jewelry from scrap metal, once he even tried his hand at crocheting your favorite animal for you. It...did not turn out quite right. Rufus is a little funky looking and lopsided but you love him anyway! In fact, you made an equally cute girlfriend for him and gave her to Donnie (he named her Fran, after his favorite sitcom). For Donnie, he likes useful things (clothes, scraps for his tinkering), cute things (little trinkets, pictures of you), and food. Feed him and he’ll be the happiest guy in NYC, especially sweets!

💜H is for Heartthrob: how do you make his heart race? Donnie is very easily flustered, so have fun with that! Any little thing can get him stuttering over his words, blushing, tripping, heart racing, the works. Flirting with him, calling him silly pet names, sending him selfies, stealing kisses. You’ll leave him feeling dizzy from loving you too much, but he’s not mad about it!

💜I is for Intimate: what are intimate moments like? Very sweet and quiet. He’s not a loud guy, when he has a moment with you, Donnie likes to settle down into the quiet. Conversation will be kept to a whisper, his arms are holding you to his heart, leaning low to whisper softly and kiss your neck. He could spend forever and ever just like this, the two of you on some rooftop somewhere, looking out over the city as twilight glimmers overhead, a few faint stars starting to shine.

“Should we go home, Don?”

“Let’s just...let’s just wait here a moment, dove.”

💜J is for Jewelry: what sort of jewelry does he give you? Keeping to his favorite color, Donatello likes to give you amethyst jewelry. Rings, a pretty pendant on a black choker, earrings, just anything little thing he can find or fix up for you. He loves when you wear them and especially when he overheard a neighbor complimenting your earrings, your voice happily chirping back that your boyfriend got them for you.

💜K is for Kiss: how does he kiss you? Softly, sweetly, all the time, on every part of you that he can kiss. He can’t kiss you in front of others (but you can get away with stealing a kiss, Donnie just sitting there all flustered as his brothers tease him) but the moment you’re alone, he can’t stop kissing you. He’s especially fond of kissing your neck and shoulders. Kissing you is one of his favorite things to do.

💜L is for Love Letters: Does he write letters? Do you? Do love texts count? He’s not a pen and paper guy but you do a lot of talking through texts and he can get very romantic. Sometimes you’ll just get a flurry of texts because he was thinking about you and got overwhelmed by the emotion.

“I miss you.”

“It’s weird because the lair just feels so lonely without you here, I’m so used to you and all the cute things you do. Humming as you walk around, hanging out with me while I work, just...you. You make it better.”

“You make everything better.”

“I just miss you and love you.”

But if he’s leaving the city for one reason or another, he’ll actually write love letters through email, very long and sappy ones.

💜M is for Magnetic: What first draws him to you? Your kindness. He’d noticed you, actually, before officially meeting you. You live around the lair and they’re familiar with all the people who live around there, so Donnie definitely noticed the pretty girl who always stopped to help someone and fed the strays on the streets and had such a sweet smile. Mikey and Raph liked to tease him about it, pointing you out whenever they passed by and calling you his “little girlfriend.” Only now you are his girlfriend and he can be all proud about it instead of getting nervous/annoyed.

💜N is for Need: What are his needs? How do you meet them? Donnie needs patience most of all. His lifestyle is, well, weird and he overworks himself and he’s not good at the whole romance thing at first. So you’ll need to be patient, to understand that he truly loves you and is truly trying, and to give him time. Sometimes you’ll have to force him to take that time but he understands that he can get into his own head on, occasionally, needs to be brought back down to earth.

💜O is for Open: how open is he with you? Donatello opens up fairly quickly and there are no secrets between the two of you. Though it takes him a moment to learn this lesson, he’s of the opinion that secrets will only pull you apart but honesty will bring you both together. So you know everything about him (even the pop-tart thing, he told you before one of his brother’s could) and he knows everything about you. Deepest fears, secrets, worries, hopes, dreams, it’s all out in the open with the two of you.

💜P is for Pet names: what does he call you? He has two nicknames for you, dove (because they’re his favorite bird and so pretty, just like you) and darling. While he rarely uses them in front of others, he does it a lot in private and your name in his contacts is either “My Dove 🕊️” or “My Darling⭐”.

💜Q is for Quiet: what are quiet moments together like? Quiet moments are his dream come true! There’s nothing more Donnie likes than to cuddle up with you in bed, a giant mug of coffee for him, and something to do together. He likes reading, of course, and will read anything and everything. Or perhaps a TV show playing, a video game, or building a Lego set, but honestly, he just wants to hold you close and keep you for a while.

💜R is for Reminisce: what is his favorite memory with you? The moment you met. As stated, he’d seen you around and thought you were cute and kind but it was nothing more than that. Just stolen looks. That is, until, Mikey got knocked off a rooftop during a fight and came crash landing through your living room window and...you didn’t freak out. Well, you did, but not about the giant turtle, rather about the fact that he was cut up and bruised and bleeding and you were worried about him. Donnie came racing in to see you kneeling beside his brother, trying to stop the bleeding, and you just stole his heart. He never got it back so, the ninja that he is, he stole yours in retaliation.

💜S is for Song: what's your song? Aphrodite by The Ridleys. It came to him long before you were dating, back when he was just another boy in love and thinking about you as he worked, music playing in his lab. It came on and he just...got lost in it. In you. And later on, when you were finally dating and he took you dancing on the rooftops, this was the first song he played.

💜T is for Touch: is he touchy? Super touchy, in a shy sort of way. He loves to hold and touch you and keep you close because, holy crap, you’re real. You are everything he ever dreamed of, everything he ever wanted in a woman, and, even crazier than that, you want him back. Can you believe that? He can’t. So he touches you all of the time to know that you’re real and here and you love him.

💜U is for Unique: what's a cute quirk of his? He tends to doodle while thinking and, more often than not, he’s scribbling things that remind him of you and writing your name too. Little bits of you are all over the place and his brothers like to tease him about that, holding up a note covered in flowers and schematics and doves and your name with a “really” look on their face.

💜V is for Value: what does he value in a relationship? Honesty, affection, and patience. Donnie needs someone he can be himself with, someone who can understand how crazy and hard his life is and help him through it. But he also wants to help you through your own stuff and be there for you as much as you are for him. More than anything else, he loves affection. Pet names, cuddling, kissing, just hearing your voice and feeling your touch is heaven to him.

💜W is for Warmth: what are cozy moments like? Super sweet! He’s got blankets, a pile of pillows, books and food and, best of all, you. Having it be a rainy/windy/snowy day outside just makes it even better.

💜X is for X-ray: what's something he keeps close to the heart? Just how terrified he is of losing you. When you’ve dreamed of something for so long and finally found it, the idea that something could take it all away is terrifying. He does worry a lot and he expresses that and you’re always there to help him through it but the fears won’t go away. Maybe they never will.

💜Y is for Yearning: How did he yearn for you? Through stolen glances and little touches and late nights spent thinking about you. It took Donnie a long, long time to work up the courage to ask you out and that time was spent quietly in love with you, to the point that you didn’t realize his feelings but his brothers and Splinter absolutely did.

💜Z is for Zzzz: what are late nights like? Late nights are simple. He’s been up too long and working too hard, as usual. So once you’ve started to worry about him, you do something about it because he’ll just keep going like this if no one stops him. So you make something to eat and drag him out of the lab, sitting him down and having a very late dinner together. Then you drag him to bed with you, Donnie too tired and too in love to fight it, he always says the same thing as he drifts off to sleep.

SFW Alphabet (Benny Cross x Shy!Reader)

First time making one of these and this was so much fun! I took a bit of creative liberty in order to dive into Benny's past a bit so I hope it doesn't feel OOC. Please let me know if you love it! This is paired with my Benny x Bunny series! 🐰

A= Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

Benny shows affection through acts of service. He wants to take care of you so he's always doing things to help you out. Your car is making a rattling noise? He'll take a look at it. Your feet are sore from walking around in your heels all day? He'll carry you on his back the rest of the way. You try to carry something heavy? Not on his watch. A customer at work was rude to you? Consider it handled. He has your back in everything.

B= Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start)

You are his absolute best friend. Benny doesn't have many friends and he doesn't make them easily. When Benny loves, he loves fiercely. His friends are his family and he'd kill for them.

C= Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

Benny ALWAYS has a hand on you. Whether it's just a hand on your thigh if you're sitting beside him or an arm slung around your shoulders or his hands wrapped around your waist if you're standing in front of him, he's always touching you somehow. There's a few reasons he does this: he likes having you nearby in case some trouble starts and he can protect you. He wants to show everyone nearby that you are his and only his. But most importantly, he likes having you there to ground him. You're his anchor when he feels himself losing control of his anger.

D= Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

Benny is not much help when it comes to cooking and cleaning. In fact, he does more harm than good when the stove is involved. You almost always end up having to shoo him away, telling him to go mow the lawn or fix the leaky pipe in the bathroom. Sometimes though, he likes to lean against the fridge and keep you company while you bake, totally enamored by how beautiful you are when you concentrate on things you love doing.

E= Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

You are Benny's whole world, but that doesn't mean he is immune to doubts. Not about you, never about you. They're about himself. He gets in his own head and those poisonous thoughts of feeling inferior and ignominious run wild. Sometimes he wonders why you're even with him. He's not good enough for you, how could he be? You're so perfect and sweet and pure and he's . . . so corrupted, so rough.

You're always so quick to correct him when he voices these thoughts, telling him that you love him and that means all of him, including vices, bad habits and flaws.

F= Fiance (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

Are we kidding? Benny knew he wanted to marry you after only spending a few hours in your presence. He's so whipped, so drunk on love that he goes out and buys a ring the very next day.

G= Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

Looking at someone like Benny with his tattoos and leather jacket and loud motorcycle, most people wouldn't assume he could be gentle. Benny didn't even know he could love someone to the point of changing for them until he met you. He thought he was a lost cause, a destitute brawler who nobody could love - hell, his own family didn't even love him.

But you did somehow, and Benny doesn't know if he should laugh or cry at that. He'd never, never expected to be blessed with someone as kind and supportive as you in his life and for that, he'd do anything for. He'd touch you gently, hands exploring your curves at night. He'd whisper softly into your ear as you nodded off into dreamland beside him. And he knew that's what you needed, so he'd provide it in any aspect he could, private or public. He didn't care if the guys teased him about it either.

H= Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it and what is it like?)

Any excuse to touch you is how he works! He loves feeling your slight figure tucked so completely against his own. You're the perfect height for him to rest his chin on the top of your head, your face pressed against his broad chest, his hands locking together around your waist. It's like you were a lock and he was the key - molded together perfectly.

I= I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

The L-word is very foreign to Benny. He didn't hear it much when he was growing up and he's said it to others even less. In fact, he's never told a girl that he loved them, so for him to be that vulnerable with you is a huge deal.

Those life-changing three words would probably just come out of him before he even realized it himself. It would be after he had a bad day, problems with the club and new members becoming more antagonizing. He'd park his bike out front, anger disappearing the moment he catches sight of you in the front yard, on your hands and knees, an assortment of small unplanted plants surrounding you.

He cuts the engine and approaches you, warmth spreading in his chest at the oversized sunhat you wear. You glance up at him and smile.

"Remember that butterfly I was telling you about yesterday?" you ask when he stands over you. "Well, I was reading up on them and I guess they really love these flowers. So I'm planting them for him. I hope he comes back and appreciates it."

And how can Benny's heart not melt at that? You were so damn cute and the way you viewed the world was unlike anything he'd ever known.

"I love you," he whispered, heart suddenly pounding at the recognition.

Your mouth falls open and you sit up a little straighter before smiling broadly at him. "Oh."

J= Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they get jealous?)

Oh boy, Benny is a force to reckon with when he gets jealous. It doesn't happen often, surprising to say, but when it does . . . it's bad. He deals with his jealousy with his fists, much like how he deals with all other negative emotions. He's having a bad day already and someone at the bar tries grabbing your ass? Oh goodbye. He's dragging that man out the backdoor and going to teach him a lesson about touching what's his.

K= Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

Kisses with Benny are so intense. He kisses you like it's the last time he'll ever see you. And for all he knows, it could be. He lives a dangerous life and anything could happen to him. So he kisses you like he needs you to breathe. And he also loves to see your lips all swollen afterwards.

L= Little ones (How are they around children?)

Benny came from a rough home and his childhood was very unpleasant, so the last thing on his mind is children. But that can be changed, he's very easily influenced by you. All you have to do is give him puppy eyes and the soft pouty-lip look and he'd consider just about anything.

M= Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

It's rare that Benny is still there when you wake up in the morning. He has a lot of trouble sleeping and usually ends up getting up early, leaving you to sleep as long as you can. You'll usually find him in the kitchen, already made a pot of coffee for you to wake up to.

But on those mornings when he does sleep in and you wake up to find his warm body tangled with yours? Those are the best. That's when you get that sweet side of Benny that nobody else is privy to. He'll run his thumb over your cheek, the early morning sunlight casting a beautiful glow over his face as his blue eyes roam over your face. He'll lean in, slowly peppering you with the softest kisses, one for your nose, one for your forehead, one for each of you cheeks, and the last one reserved for you lips.

N= Night (How are nights spent with them?)

Nights spent with Benny Cross are anything but ordinary. That's one of the things you love most about him, the spontaneity. You could be getting ready for bed and he'd come to you asking if you want to take a ride with him. Of course you say yes because every ride with him is an adventure. And you might just be driving around the city, under the streetlights or he might take you out into the country to look at the stars. Either way, he wants to make the most of it so he will always bring an extra jacket for you to stay out as long as possible.

O= Open (When will they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or do they reveal little things slowly?)

Being vulnerable is very difficult for Benny. He wants to, believe him, but every negative memory he has beats down on him daily, so it will take a long time before he feels comfortable letting down his guard and breaking the toxic cycle that his parents burned into him. Your smile helps, your kind eyes, your petite hands squeezing his encouragingly.

P= Patience (How easily are they angered?)

Remember how he fights at the drop of a hat and his anger is easily triggered? Well, that doesn't apply to you. No, you rarely ever test his patience. The very few times you do, it's most likely because you're doing something that he thinks is too dangerous and you argue back because you don't like when he acts controlling. One thing leads to another and the more calm he remains, the more riled up you become so you end up being petty or bratty. Then, his patience is strained and he'll usually put his foot down and flat out refuse to cooperate with you anymore.

That usually leads to him receiving the silent treatment for a few hours, but you both usually make up before bed.

Q= Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every detail or forget the minor things?)

Benny has a lock-trap memory when it comes to something he actually cares about. In school, he struggled to do well on tests about subjects he found boring like math and English. But history and science, he excelled in.

If knowing you was a subject in school, he'd be valedictorian. He remembers everything you tell him, bringing it up in moments that shock you. He may not always seem like he's listening, but he is. He knows your schedule, your work drama, your favorite sweater. He makes mental notes of the way you like your coffee, what song gets you to dance in the kitchen while you cook, and what side of the sink you leave your stuff on. He loves the small details like how your laugh sounds different when it's just you and him and the way your face lights up when you see your favorite flowers. It's all very important to him.

R= Remember (What is their favorite moment of your relationship?)

A day he thinks about a lot - especially when he's not in a good mood - is when you first moved in together and you wanted to bake him something to christen the kitchen. He leaned against the doorway, arms crossed casually as you put on your apron and gathered the ingredients. You shot him a cheeky grin as you went to the record player, picking out an album that made your hips sway with the rhythm. He was perfectly content to stand there admiring, but you always had to involve him in some way or another so you tugged his arms gently, pulling him to the center of the kitchen and the two of you danced slowly, his hands pressed against the small of your back and yours wrapped around the back of his neck, foreheads touching.

He thinks about that night often, feeling so grateful that you chose him to spend the rest of your life with.

S= Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? how would they like to be protected?)

As you already know, Benny would die to protect you just as easily as he'd kill for you. You'd never need to worry about anything happening while he's there. He doesn't get intimidated by much and is always ready to throw a fist if someone threatened you. He's the definition of scary boyfriend privileges.

T= Try (How much effort do they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

He thinks it's important for him to put a lot of consideration for you during your every day life, not just special occasions. You're always going out of your way to do something kind for others (even strangers) and he wants you to know that you deserve the same level of effort you provide.

He's not so great at remembering the dates and anniversaries, he's often times so busy that he doesn't know what day it is anyway so don't feel bad. But the dates he takes you on? Those are magical. He finds places that remind him of you and he points out details he thinks you'd like.

U= Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

Benny and bad habits? That pairs like milk and cookies. Smoking, boarder line alcohol abuse, not getting enough sleep, fighting . . . the list goes on. But Johnny tells you that he sees a huge improvement since Benny's gotten together with you and you can't help but blush at that.

V= Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

He isn't one to care much what other people think of him. He barely holds himself in high regards, why should it bother him if someone else does? He's used to getting the occasional glare shot at him by the pansies standing on their lawns as he rolls through the neighborhood on his Harley.

W= Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

Benny used to be independent, even a little detached. But that all changed when he met you. You changed everything for him. He no longer had to go through life alone because you were there with your sweet smile and comforting words. You became the most important thing in his life. His world revolves around you.

X= Xtra )A random headcanon for them)

Benny came home one day to find you and a couple of your friends making jewelry. Friendship bracelets, you had informed him with a smile on your face. He just nodded, kissed the top of your head and continued on his way out the back door to hide in the garage.

The next day you had presented him with a tiny box all wrapped up in a pink bow, a brilliant smile to go with it. You told him it was special and just for him. He opened it carefully and his heart melted at the object inside. It was a bracelet, made with various shades of pink and white rope, a small B charm woven into the center, a bunny next to it. It was . . . one of the ugliest things he's ever seen, but he adored you so he told you he loved it. You practically bounced up and down with excitement as you helped him put it on.

The absolute razzing he took from the boys when he showed up with his bright pink friendship bracelet showing proudly on his wrist was worth it. He'd never take it off.

Y= Yuck (What are some things they wouldn't like, either in general or in a partner?)

There isn't much that you could do that Benny wouldn't like. Except when you do things that puts you in harms way like running to the store late at night without him or leaving the door unlocked when you're home alone. He sees it as unnecessary risk and he's tried talking to you many times about it.

Z= Zzz (What are some sleeping habits of theirs?

Benny has trouble sleeping, always has. Most of the time, you're asleep before he gets home despite your best efforts at trying to stay awake to greet him. He often finds you asleep on the couch, book forgotten in your lap. He'll carry you to bed, and crawl into it behind you. You snuggle up against him, muttering something incoherent and sighing contently before falling back to sleep and Benny felt a tenderness in his chest as he pulled you closer, wrapping the blankets over both of you.
