2020 Asia tour, the first day they got out of the rehearsal studio—or rather, the basement they’d had to move into for rehearsals after COVID restrictions meant the government closed down the proper rehearsal studio. So it was a long uncertain road to get into this building, never knowing whether they’d be completely shut down tomorrow.

Dominique Hamilton (Rumpleteazer) and Aaron Lynch (Coricopat) both did the 2014 and 2017 Asia tours together. So they’re old friends—and now, finally, they’re back on this set, in these costumes for the first time in years. They’re back in the Junkyard, back home, and they can share this moment together.

Also Natalie Bennyworth as Cassandra, Jal Joshua as Carbucketty, Dan Partridge as Tugger, Fletcher Dobinson as Alonzo, and George Hankers as Mungojerrie—all of whom have also been in various productions before, so there’s a certain amount of homecoming excitement for everyone!

Mungojerrie: We called off the prank war last night at midnight, dork.

Okay but the results are important too.

Present at the Christmas feast were Sean, Max, Kelly, and Vinny: in other words, Munkustrap was baking (shirtless) for Alonzo, Tumblebrutus, Mungojerrie, and Rumpelteazer!

Appropriately (to remain in character): Tumble and Mungojerrie mostly posted about the food, while Rumpelteazer was more committed to documenting the baker baking process.

And the next day...

Anyway, yes. Munkustrap is The Alpha Male Who Feeds And Provides For His Family, it is canon.

Mungo was a dummy and broke his arm, so of course his bf Alonzo had to carry him everywhere.

There are many possible ways you could react to the looming end of your show.

You could say that you're very sad, like Alonzo and Rumpelteazer. You could look cute and plop your chin on your friend's head, which is sure to cheer them up. If you're Tugger you can be contradictory and refuse to be sad about—jesus christ it's a cryptid get in the car.

Please enjoy PJ DiGaetano's conjuring turn behind the girls' relevee. I believe Oasis is the only production that still retains these mid-ball spinnies!

Other important things are Alonzo and Tumble slinking slinkily to their spots behind the girls, and Alonzo being patted by Skimbleshanks and sharing a little moment with Mungojerrie, before Tugger goes SLIIIIIIIIIIIDE halfway across the stage to land at his feet and share a low-five.

Also Tugger stopping to ask Deut's permission before leading his boys forward!

Oasis cast 6, 2017. Since we don't seem to be missing anybody it's probably Bradley Craig as Alonzo and Graham Weaver as Tugger.
