I am also getting myself into to mood to test my hand at boarding a pmv for my friend's cover#I think my thought for this was ''I should try and give her a more insectoid bodyplan''#which in this mostly means gently three-part body and six limbs (my favourite amount of limbs to draw rn)#actually almost gave her eight but didnt like how that silhouette came out so I mermaided her uh. abdomen I guess#though maybe next time I do this I should push that idea more. the head and torso are still very distinct for one unified part#I feel like one of my old attempts was onto something with like. a more horizontal body plan... well! live and learn etc#happy late mid autumn I guess. I should play with touys about it... I miss model kits. mayhaps...

“You should really learn to relax~” midna cackles as fen’s shadow shatters at the aviary’s feet - a beat of silence ; then midna’s reforming. Her impish body taking residence - resting over those lithe shoulders with a otherworldly hum. “But I see some things never change” she greets once fully corporal, those ebony claws of hers now idly preeniny crest and crown pinions alike. “it’s been awhile”
What an odd feeling.
Familiar, comfortable, but the claim of something as intimate as her shadow still earns something just shy of a shudder. Every time, not quite a crawl along her skin but a trail of chilled sensory that makes her click her teeth and stall in her current task.
"Midna." It's an old, warm rasp; rumbling past her teeth, rough from disuse. The old spirit doesn't seek company often, busy with self-appointed little jobs ever since she acquired a facsimile of freedom.
"I'm relaxed." Now. Taut muscles sinking just a bit when she feels sharp but gentle edges draw along her scalp. The feathered strands sleeking down before flaring up a little, as if to make the task easier for her surprise passenger. Talons resume across a glassy surface, hissing with heat.
"I haven't been paying attention again, apologies for not paying a visit myself."
