This took about 40 hours, give or take a few

#I can tell you one thing #Embroidering while having arthritis is really not a piece of cake. When you hand cramps just by holding it at an angle.#At least I can be grateful for my empty schedule #Makes embroidering till the sun rises back up so much easier #Insomnia also helps with this task #I was listening to the ost while working on it and… Live reaction #Occupied turf is so good actually !? Why wasn’t it shown more often !? IT’S FIRE !?#I forgot I only did a pacifist so I got so confused when neutral Flowey came out…#A mother’s love ? Should’ve called this “I’m gonna fuck you up”#The number of time I got my ass handed back to me in this fight is not even funny #The first time is great. The second I only discern my favorites and the sudden change in style. By the third loop I can’t recognize shit #my brain is melting and my eyes are on fire…#Advantages on doing it during daytime. Eyes hurt less. Good stupid tv to listen to in the background Disadvantages. People #Advantages on doing it at night. Alone. Personally work better at night #Disadvantages. No good TV. Time goes by slower…? I don’t know maybe I’m just loosing it with those freaking petals #For reference one petal took me about 3 and a half hours. So yeah… I thought it would never end… Took out almost all my yellow.#When the line tangles itself in the back and you realize only close to the end of it that half went missing #So you have to go backward to entangle it and loose 30 mins because damn it #Cats are not helpful in any of those scenarios #Why do I feel the need to make the back perfect when nobody else but me will know #This is the last time I do one so big without thinking it through #Note to self. scrolling back through my liveblogging of the day of the nyc concert because of recent notifications and its such a fun mixed bag of emotions to relive it all again

#helloooooo pineapple in my notes i do not mind the likes and reblogs <3 #but it was such a crazy day that day of the show. so much happened #i also didn't remember that the day before the concert is when my bus got messed up and was taking me back to ny #and i had to get a car service home and everything #and then there was the concert the next day!#and what i had done was worked monday. took all of tuesday off for the concert. got like maybe 4 hour of sleep if that #and then went back to work wednesday. stupid #it worked out fine lol but i dont think id do it that way again idk #other remembrances of the day:#my biggest regret is getting all worked up abt my stupid letter that never got to them anyway like jeez. obviously i still enjoyed the show #but still. OH and i missed out on getting the latte pinback buttons #not the biggest deal but i did want those. i was just awkwardly standing around before the nyc show #and the merch line was always super long anyway #what else. oh i wish i could have met those of you that were there. but next time! im cooler now so next time.#the show itself was crazyyyy. again so fun and surreal #one of the tags on my original review was something along the lines of me having not been this excited since i was a kid #and it was really like that. like it really was that absolute pure overjoyed excitement that i haven't felt for a long time #i felt the same at the hollywood bowl. just having so much fun (missing it now lol 🥲)#cant remember if i mentioned this before but when i was standing outside the stage door i saw both spike lee and adam driver leave backstage #adam driver is Tall. i didnt even recognize him at first fdhgkgkg #anyway. some thoughts almost a year later wow!

okay i just marathoned the entirety of ATLA live action & i might do an actual review of it explaining my thoughts more in depth, but the TLDR version basically boils down to this:

if you want to watch Avatar: The Last Airbender, just go watch the 2005 cartoon

#i was trying to keep an open mind & all that cuz of OPLA (my beloved) but. holy shit it was actually worse than i expected :/#like what were they thinking. did they use AI to write this or are the writers just like. really shitty #notes: they linger too much on random bullshit & refuse to move character development along #they tell when they should be showing & when they DO show it's for stuff that benefited from brief environmental storytelling in the OG #the plot drags so hard it was basically stagnant #there were some fun things but like. those things could've been funner if they'd been given the time other useless stuff was taking up #they changed so many minor details that really don't matter in order to make them more important #but this failed spectacularly because now there's just. stupid bullshit clogging up the plot??#instead of having 10 minute monologues 3 times an episode about plot irrelevant things #they should have taken a page out of the original's book & kept minor details to a minimum & focused on ACTUAL PLOT #SO MUCH CGI. LIKE I KNOW THEY NEED IT BUT COME ON. EVEN THE CHARACTERS?????? WHO ARE JUST STANDING THERE????????#they were given 8 hours & almost all of it was Aang angsting (lol) over being the avatar & not practicing actual bending #& then they ended the plot too early so they had to fill in the last like 20 minutes with something else #so they made up random lore that literally makes no sense. & overexplained all of it to the point i was blanking out from boredom #i think this is why i didn't enjoy Korra. they over explain the spirit world stuff & avatar powers & bending #that plus i just don't vibe with the aesthetic #being a writer is a curse because when i dislike something it's because i know exactly what went wrong & why #it's always with the analyzing & the judging & the internal note taking #even when i really try i can't just enjoy shit for fun
