okay, so I’ve been a bit caught up the past couple days bc I joined an online horror writing retreat at the literal absolute minute and I’ve been sprinting for my life since Monday (some of which will soon be shared here once it’s ready to go!!! :3c)

but even though I’m still going to respond to everyone individually, I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has been so, so kind and supportive about me introducing Seth the other day 🖤🖤🖤 I’ve said before that you guys make writing the Mortuary amazing, and I was incredibly touched by the enthusiasm y’all took the time to share 🥰 I’m incredibly lucky to get to share my murder scrimblos with y’all, and I look forward to us all getting to have a lot of fun with this newest one together. Expect some hcs up for him very soon!! (And poor Leon, who’s been waiting for his for like a year now lmao)

(sorry it’s taking me a minute to respond to asks/tags on this blog, as I have a few waiting, but I did want to say I’m doing much much better and thank you to everyone who was kind enough to send me some support when my face was… air-bagging, or whatever we want to call it :’D my skin is healed and I’m back to wearing my favorite eyeliner again, and my meeting with my committee went well (they liked my revised concept and I don’t have to get my pages to them until july), AND next week is the last one of the semester, which means I should get to be around more often since my office is closed over the summer!! 🖤 which is good, because there’s a new friend who’s been waiting to introduce themselves

everyone who takes the time to read this blog and write in is the absolute best, I am so so so fortunate and lucky to have gotten to know so many wonderful people and the morvants and I love all of y’all so much 🥰🖤🖤🖤

history shows that my “feelings” aren’t just “hurt”.

as all of this probably meant literally nothing to you about 3 months ago and will probably mean very little to everyone in about a year, you lack the very basic understanding and knowledge of our history. our people were told to be polite and chill out back in the 1930s when we were told we’re too dirty to walk the sidewalk or have a business. we were told we’re just being hysterical and to say baruch ha’shem that at least they’re not killing us yet. we all know how that one ended in the 1940s (well, i hope you know). y’all using that against us to prove a point of a trend you’ll probably remember nothing about in a few months, is a very dangerous antisemitic disgrace. as these are not the 1930s anymore and i have history to remind me what happens when we let things slide, i won’t let anyone hurt my feelings or say that i simply have a victim’s complex.
