Tell ya what. Nothing against Fenton of course, but the superhero spot in my brain is occupied by Darkwing and the autistic spot in my brain is occupied by Huey and the Team Science spot in my brain is occupied by Boyd so like it is what it is ya know?

Like I like Fenton but I think the stuff happening to/around him is more interesting than he is sometimes. Not all the time but just sometimes.

That being said he is a little cotton ball. Wouldn't hurt a fly on purpose. Will give you a free pie even if you didn't ask for one. Is somehow a regular character played by the busiest man in the world and that part isn't really advertised even though I know there's a demographic who would definitely watch just for him.

He sucks. He's literally the worst and i love him for that. But I wished he started off as a bad condescending person (like Amy) in the beginning, instead of tweaking out at the end. Lowkey he should've killed Sky (jkjkjkjk....nah not really). He was boring the first half of the season though.

Ella: 7/10

I LOVE ELLA YOU HAVE NO IDEA. She's so sweet and she should've went further, but Chris was an asshole so they had to get rid of her....sigh. One of my favorites.

Emma (tdrr): 10/10

One of the best characters on ridonculous race. Her and Kitty should have won, I do not care. Her relationship with Noah was also super cute and I hate how people forget she exist and say "Noah should've been with *insert character here* and not Emma." (As a nowen shipper I have came to accept nemma as a cute ship)

Kitty: 10/10

I love Kitty, like you don't understand. As a younger sister, I can relate to her a lot. She really is one of the best tdrr characters. I also loved how she worked with owen to get Noah and Emma together. Simply one of the best characters.

Explanation for the angst thing. HER LIFE IS ALREADY SO ANGSTY!! I have a billion and one fanfic ideas of Sayu basically escaping her current life (normally it gets worse before it gets better though). Sayu is a canonically disabled child, and the treatment she receives is awful :( All my homies hate Kano Nana…

I’d say that a lot of it is misunderstanding though, I feel like although Ayato is a bit of an enigma, he still has morality, and if he knew how much Sayu disliked being in the Shuumatsuban and how she was treated, he’d get her out as soon as possible. The same goes for Yoimiya, and probably most people in Narukami with a brain.

Sayu is literally my daughter, in the serenitea pot I have her hangout picture framed on the wall. I kinda headcanon Lumine sneaking Sayu into the teapot every once in a while to let her get some sleep undisturbed. In the mansion, I have a Traveller + Paimon bedroom, and the Paimon bed space has a lot of soft toys + one of those alchemical heaters that can act as a radiator, so it should be comfortable as hell.

But yeah. SAYUuuuu. Her situation makes me so sad, she seems so lonely and lost with her life. I just want her to have some friends her age and not be forced to do work she doesn’t enjoy anymore (and technically never should have been made to do. Again, she was really young). Oh and also have accommodation for what is heavily implied to be narcolepsy or something similar. I feel like Xianyun would treat her really well (and tbh Xianyun is just the Ultimate Parental Figure at this point and is picking up girls like Pokemon cards), but then again I feel like any responsible adult would help her rather than shun her and call her lazy. It’s just aughh.

I don’t have narcolepsy or anything to the extent of what Sayu deals with, but I am chronically exhausted pretty much all the time, and it can get really bad at some points, so it hits fairly close to home (probably should have circled the 11th box on this but oh well). My quality of life has improved a lot by prioritising myself over people’s expectations, and trying to get access to disability accommodation. I really love Sayu man, I hope at some point she gets the same…

Also I know there’s a fairly good chance that Sayu’s old sensei is dead, but I hope that they do come back. Even then, I’d still be mad at them because is Kano Nana is seriously the ‘best guardian’ they managed to appoint for her they never should have left :(
