So weird that acknowledging a character is attractive must mean your sexualizing them

Like everybody can understand that hyperdeath asriel is described as hot amd move on but the moment you make an adult design for a frisk and make them attractive (and simply point it out) then you must be awful! Like your design isint even sexualized or nothing it's just an adult frisk it's not like ur drawing them half naked like some adult frisk designs.

Also love how all the post they used to call you out where incredibly removed from the context and they made it look like the other people's post where ones you made it's like they were manufacturing their own outrage.

oh, is that what they're doing now? that's nice.

you know what's funnier, i hate adult flowey with my soul and still i went to bat for them whenever people tried to pull the "it's creepy" card under my posts. i shut that shit down every single time, to the point i had people lash out at me. I'd heard that they'd been harassed and pedojacked over it and i genuinely felt bad for them, because that was horrible and they obviously didn't deserve that, no matter how much we disagreed.

like seriously do you have any idea how humiliating it is to hate something with full acknowledgement that it objectively does not matter and being like "but leave people who like it alone, i'm sure they're fine people" every time i expressed my dislike, because some people who agreed with me were incapable of being normal?

aaaand in the end they were the one who tried to paint me as the predator. honestly? I'm not surprised they misrepresented me so much. it was obvious from day one that they can't fucking read LMAOOOO

Why not both?! I really like Portal 2 of course with it’s more in-depth story and of course our Queen of Aperture’s newer model!

This was an attempt to make a mixed bag version of GLaDOS with a more logical bridge between the games

#im posting this very late because i was sort of weary of how it came out and ended up messing w it until it was like 4am oops.#and i have plans tmrw so... oh well! i did my best and ill put it out while i can!#and i tried to make the scene match barnard's colors lol #finn's ocs #finn's art #i know i said id do more sillay stuff with the simpler screentone only style but i had a couple more of these in me #and this is the first piece im making thats like an actual part of the story too rather than just setting stuff for fun #i wanna write something to go with it too but for now ill just sort of briefly explain the context in the tags here:#barnard has a pretty bad case of OCD and his compulsions have made it difficult to make friends in the past #he was never outright bullied or anything but people just didnt really have the patience to deal with it #he has compulsions that include stuff like walking through doors until it feels right and needing things to be perfectly aligned #which in group settings has lead to people having to wait for him to finish his rituals and join them #they might find it tolerable at first but eventually they grow impatient and hes just... not invited to stuff anymore #but juno is a newer member of the guild who ends up frequenting the same library. hes also kinda a little weird #and they dont become fast friends or anything but just sort of naturally spend time in the same place #though they never plan meetups they eventually fall into a routine. around the same time theyd just both be at the library #and read next to each other. and maybe talk a bit. and eventually they end up walking back to the guildhall together #since theyre going to the same place after all. and juno always waits for barnard outside the door #eventually barnard asks if this bothers him. juno kinda just tells him 'of course it does' without any malice or anything. just a statement #barnard is surprised and apologizes and juno says not to. but the next day juno doesnt show up at the usual time.#barnard assumes hes committed somekinda more by bringing it up. he ends up staying there late reading to get his mind off it & not ruminate #but when he leaves juno is in fact still waiting for him down the hall (see pic) having collected a bunch of books literally abt ocd #he fell asleep bc barnard stayed later than expected. and hes an eepy guy generally. and also one very bad at expressing himself #but now barnard gets that juno's 'of course it [bothers me]' had the implication of 'but its worth it' which no friend has previously done.#and from the interaction juno was also able to understand that this isn't something barnard just does for the hell of it so. he studies.#and checks a bunch of stuff out because he thinks it could help his friend too (theres ocd workbooks and such- i remember working w them)#and thats the point where they became more ''friends'' than ''pleasant library acquaintances''#from there on they also do get into juno's problems. whole other bag of worms. but this specific scene is more about bernard from his pov #sorry about when i said briefly explain. i lied </3 #but compared to the whole sequence im picturing its brief so shhh

#asks #thank you again! :)#part of it is just that i love the brigadier #(and the doctor of course)#part of it is just... characters who clash ideologically and also get on each others' last nerves and are also FRIENDS #because they're both good men to the best of their abilities and they're both TRYING to do the right thing at all times #and they see that and recognize it in each other!!#which means even when they're in conflict they're more on the same page with each other than with anyone ELSE they have to deal with #and then the brigadier is such a STABLE person and presence #and the doctor is so not that #but before during and after the unit era the doctor is able to drop in and out of the brig's life and the brig just...accepts him every tim #and they're always happy to see each other!#tl;dr this man not only successfully EMPLOYED the doctor but they came out of it FRIENDS. wild #dw #tag essay

Genuinely, where are ML people congregating these days. None of the Discord servers I'm in are super active anymore and I barely see people in them posting about new episodes/specials and definitely not as they're airing. Where is the new episode camaraderie

There used to be so many active Discord servers and groups on Tumblr/Instagram who talked about where to find links for whatever was coming out and livestreamed episodes themselves and went crazy while watching them all together and I can't tell if this is something that has gone by the wayside fandom-wide or if I am a loser who just isn't invited to be part of these things

#miraculous ladybug #honestly ml is a pretty interesting case study #I've been here since 2015 so like right at the beginning and it was easier to watch livestreamed episodes then than it is now #people are very cagey about links and wont give them out anymore #when it used to be very celebratory to share links and people would like. bond in livestream chats #god do people even remember le ranch. do people even know how watching that before episodes came out changed us #people dont even talk about new episode links until like. an hour before the episode comes out #so youre kind of sol if you dont live in a convenient timezone #and this is probably due to a whole number of things. ml getting more popular so people realized #they could make money off of livestreaming it #and then going after all other livestreams to get them taken down so we all had to use to same one site (miraculous.to)#disney taking over and getting real strict about their content takedowns #twitter going to hell. instagram getting worse. people leaving tumblr in 2018.#brand ambassadors changing how they interacted with fandom. fandom getting a lot bigger #so everything got a lot more spread out with more cliques and groups completely separated/unaware of each other #people who did a lot of the legwork leaving fandom and not explaining to anyone how to do what they used to #popular hosting sites getting taken down #etc etc etc

I don't remember why but I dreamed about looking up the common religions in different regions of Thailand last night

#in addition to like. more regular dreams where someone kidnapped part of our camping/hiking group and I needed to use my knowledge of #dog/wolf behavior to appease a wolf that we needed to pass by to get between two forest clearings and also since my character was a #clean-freak / germaphobe he had the power to have bugs not bother him in the woods and then that all happened twice because ofc we needed to #keep to the story script when it restarted and I had to keep everything on the rails but this time two other wolves also came up and they #all decided I was chill and we left each other alone even while I was de-escalating the kidnapping situation but then the kidnappers started #running away and I was like 'you know what would make them think again? three wolves chasing them' so I got the wolves' attention and #started running and they thought it was some kind of chase game and eventually after a couple times of them catching up with me and thinking #that was it they realized someone ahead of us was also running so THEY were the target and we finally started chasing down the kidnappers #and by this point I was considered part of the pack and also we were in a school gymnasium but right after some sort of fair or assembly so #we had to dodge chairs and tables and stacks of equipment and occasionally children but they mostly kept out of the way #oh and I think after the reset but before the kidnapping there was also a part where one of the other characters (I feel like one of my #siblings was playing this one) insisted that our top priority should be finding clothes and I was like 'wait are you NAKED?' and they were #like 'yeah we all are???' and I was like 'WHAT no I'm fully dressed. my character is wearing a suit and tie! and a hat even!' yeah yeah and #then the kidnappers/bullies came up and one of them was a blond lady with a bolo tie.#btw the reason I'm saying stuff like 'my character'/'was playing a character' is because in this dream it was explicitly characters we were #playing in some sort of game where the focus wasn't roleplay but it had a roleplay-y aspect where the different characters had different #strengths and abilities; such as Betrayal at House on the Hill or Western Legends or Dead of Winter #anyway. IDK why dream-me thought thailand was one of the most religiously diverse places on earth. in real life it's over 90% buddhist.#ThornShadow.said

#because my life is just a comedy of errors #I went out Saturday night after having stayed in all day (except to go to the gym) because it was so hot and world youth day was making #everything insane #I ordered Goan food from a place 20 minutes from where I’m staying #walked to pick it up #and as I was heading back #I saw all these old ladies gathered by the side of the road chattering with each other in Portuguese about the pope #I didn’t really know what was happening but I decided to hang out for ten minutes to see what would happen #and lo and behold the pope came right by us #not the stones #me stuff #portugal #lisbon #there aren’t many good food pics #because I was barely eating last week #(b/c heat and jet lag)#but my goal this week #other than getting archive work done #is to explore the city more
