Timothy Olyphant one of my favourite actors, he played Todd Gaines in Go (1999) and was in Stephen King’s Dreamcatcher (2001).

            Olyphant is presently in Thailand filming the television series Alien: Earth and has got a new blonde hairstyle and blonde eyebrows. He still looks fantastic. Good news is that the tv series will be part of the Alien series, it will be the prequel to the films and will be set three decades before the events of the film Alien (1979). As an Alien fan, I’m looking forward to it.

Listen, I know, I've a lot of movies in my heart, but today one of my friends asked me ''choose just one, the one you think is your comfort movie'', and unexpectedly I realized. ''Oh God, it's Alien:Covenant.''

I don't know how to explain why, rationally I don't know. I find it cozy? Relaxing? Idk. But everytime I wanna run away from reality, I choose to watch it.

For the music, first of all. It give me shivers every single time a specific music drop in some specific moments of the movie. Second thing, the poetry and the infinite references to art/literature pieces. And last but not least, on the contrary I think it is the most important thing: I find the environments so damn comforting. That eerie atmosphere is giving me so much peace that is impossible to explain.

I mean, let me stay in the David's lab, while he's working, playing some instruments or talking about some old book he read. Let me walk around this dead planet. I wanna stay there with him and petting a xeno when I'm stressed, okay? Am I asking too much???

I really wish I could back in time and see it again at the cinema with my best friend like the first time.

Alien Earth is supposed to take place three decades before Alien, that makes the setting to be in the year 2092. Which also means it’s before Prometheus by one year since Prometheus takes place in 2093. So I am curious what the storyline is going to be.
