The marketing for Legend of Ochi emphasizing the practical puppetry is good but man it's still so frustrating that when the trailer came out the main response was tons of people accusing it of being AI based on nothing. But the worst part is when it came out it was practical most of them didn't back down, they just got angry at it for "looking too much like AI"

"Why don't more people do practical effects?" Well, your reward for spending years on your passion project, an indie film with puppets, is legions of screeching Letterboxd users accusing you of using AI bc your puppets look too "weird" & harassing you into silence bc your art looks like the product of machines that stole your art, so
