So… tgwdlm happening in 2018, when Alice was 17, making her either a junior or a senior… Grace is a senior in the 2020-2021 school year, meaning that while Alice was either a junior or a senior, Grace was a freshman… so not only was Alice upset at her dad because she doesn’t like Grace, but because she’s like 3 years older than her which is a pretty big gap when you’re in high school

Random Hatchetfield Headcanons
The first time Alice Woodward ever smoked weed was when (after much inner turmoil) she asked Deb to shotgun it with her.
Max has two snaggletoothed incisors which is why people swear to god he has fangs.
Deb also has a snaggletooth which is what inspired the vampire part of Alice’s vampiric sapphic play. Alice also thinks it’s ironic she made a vampire character when Deb is a vegan.
Ruth as a Sophmore hit on Senior Alice a lot. Alice thought it was funny and she and Deb “adopted” her. Max and Steph also put the PANIC in bi panic for Ruth.
Max would find it weirdly hot that Grace wears bathing suits under her clothes because of the idea that he gets to see what her body looks like before even she does.
The hospital is downtown, so Becky Barnes definitely got infected in TGWDLM. Despite never wanting to do it again, Becky climbs the tree as someone calls the HFPD to save Kathy’s cat because she’s still infinitely compassionate even under Pokey’s control. Plus, Pokey knows she wants to get over the trauma associated with climbing trees, so he makes her do it to give her a big number about finally overcoming her past. She accidentally flings the cat as soon as the song starts, which is why in Show Me Your Hands, the cat dies so quickly even though it JUST got called in.
Peter infected Steph who infected Deb who infected Alice in TGWDLM. Pete and Steph would have been Sophomores and Deb and Alice were Seniors, but I always imagine Steph and Deb knowing eachother because MRFC said Steph is in the Smoke Club on Twitter at some point. Assuming Steph’s been a little punk for a while, she’s been in the smoke club since at least Sophomore year, and probably a new inductee the same year as TGWDLM (2018).
Alice and one of her parents (maybe Bill) were also raised in purity culture because we know the Woodwards and the Chastitys go to the same church. The Woodwards probably take it with a grain of salt though (Alice has expressed dislike over Grace’s prudishness)- either that or one of her parents (probably her mom) wasn’t originally from said church and also raised Alice with “this is what you’re learning here, but here’s also what I learned at my church at your age.” Bill was likely the one raised in purity culture because he does NOT LIKE DEB and thinks that if she HAS TO date a girl, she should date someone like Grace Chastity, implying she’s an exemplary teen girl. Ms. Woodward lets Deb sleep over and probably knows she smokes and likes her anyways; three points for Alice’s mom not being the puritanical one.
Ted reads romance novels. He’s a former geek turned sleazeball- you know he reads the smuttiest novels ever and calls them “his research”. He refuses to read any book with the friends to lovers trope because it’s too upsetting to think about. (Side note Time Bastard gave us a definite date that timelines don’t branch/reset before depending on whichever theory you believe because the homeless man is in every timeline, meaning that Jenny’s death is fixed in time and never changes: October 7th 2004, so the timelines change anywhere between October 8th 2004 and 2018.)
In whatever timeline Emma finally gets to have her weed farm, she meets Paul when he tells her he was prescribed that marajamij for his anxiety and he was too scared to try Xanax. She thinks he’s kind of cute for a wet cat of a corporate slave. “Fuck the patriarchy? Yes please.” (Side note Paul seems so uptight and unfuckable like bro gotta be blank down there like a Ken doll and has no discernible kinks from what I remember while Emma is laid back and chill asf and like… normal in comparison so yeah sure Paulkins canonically fucks but does Emma enjoy it?? Like dude even Pete’s more fuckable than him come on.)
Pete and Steph don’t kiss when they admit their feelings for eachother even though one of them would die before ever getting to kiss each other because they both think it’ll only make it that much harder to go through with sacrificing the other. One of the reasons Pete also chooses to be the one to take the bullet because he doesn’t think he even COULD pull the trigger on her. Like it’d be physically impossible for him, in his mind.
TGWDLM was originally meant to be an allegory for the institution brainwashing us. Show Me Your Hands and America’s Great Again: examples of people in power working for and fulfilling the evil wishes of some almighty, otherworldly, inhuman THING (be it aliens, be it those in power). It’s clearly meant to satirize the way that power corrupts and tries to convince you its way is better. Even Hidgens, THE FUCKING TEACHER, tries to teach his student that it will be better for everyone to join in that corruption and give in to the hive mind. This reminds me of how the school system in America tries to paint our history as something glamorous; manifest destiny instead of genocide of the indigenous populations. The people in power convincing those under them that the deaths of countless lives is a good thing and it will pave the way to a better future. Cool motive, still murder. Which is why Emma “Fuck the Patriarchy” Perkins is the last one to be infected. She was incapable of being brainwashed , and even when she was the last one left, she saw that the people watching didn’t care, and the all-consuming threat of corrupted power closes in on her until the very last moment.
The Lords in Black were going to try to convince whoever sacrificed their most treasured something to do more work for them, but Grace required very little convincing. Like Wiggly spoke into her mind like “Gracy-Wace! You forgot my booky-wook! Look in it, see any thing you like? Wanna kill all the pervy-wervys?” And she’s like “holy cow I can kill all the pervy-wervys with this book?” Pete would have needed the most convincing because he’s just lost the only girl who will ever love him (in his mind) and so he’d think these things took away his one chance at true love and NEVER want to deal with them again. Even if they offered him a way to get her back, he’s too smart to know that won’t come without an even bigger price AND too paranoid to think she won’t come back wrong like Max did.
If the Green-Foster family ever did get to move to California and Lex got to be an actress, her interview attitude would be a lot like Reneé Rapp and if she ever got asked about why she’ll openly shit talk people in an interview, she’s like “I used to work retail I learned pretty fast that nothing gets done if you keep your mouth shut.”

ALRIGHT fuck it have some Hatchetfield Severance AU thoughts
Charlotte
Charlotte Sweetly took a severed job in the hopes that if she and her husband could keep their work and home lives completely separate, their marriage would improve. The HFPD is not a severed job, but she hopes the more people agree to the procedure, the sooner it'll become common practice and Sam will be severed too. It'll be better for relationships everywhere.
The possibility of her innie having a work relationship has been brought up to her. She says the whole point is that they're different people, right? She doesn't need to worry about all that. She definitely worries about all that.
She assures herself that if her innie does have a work relationship, at least she's getting her physical needs taken care of, so it'll be easier to be faithful. Eventually, the more evenings she spends waiting for Sam to come home, the idea that she could be having an affair and not even getting to enjoy it just makes her more and more frustrated.
Charlotte S often wakes up at work with teary eyes. She craves cigarettes throughout the day even though she's never had one. She aches in her heart when she's alone for too long and she doesn't know why. She tries to make it better by being social with her coworkers. If she has friends at work, maybe her outie will feel less alone.
She works with three men. She wishes there was another woman in her department sometimes. Melissa's an unsevered supervisor, and makes her uncomfortable. She's excited when Bill introduces her to Sylvia from across the hall, they become fast friends.
She's fascinated by her own cat sweaters. She desperately wants to see a cat in real life someday. She knows she never will. It doesn't stop her from imagining the sweetest creatures with the biggest eyes and fur even softer than it looks.
Ted
Ted Spankoffski doesn't give a shit about the politics of severance. He doesn't think about it. He rolls his eyes when other people bring it up. He took the job because it paid well and the idea of working a full day in the blink of an eye sounded pretty sweet.
He carries condoms on him every day in case his innie gets some action. If the day passes and they're gone, he high-fives himself.
Ted S thinks a lot about the kind of guy his outie is. The biggest hint he has is that he wakes up hungover fairly often, and always has a condom on him. That probably means he parties and is cool, right? Yeah, his outie's gotta be cool. He wants to live up to that and be The Office Cool Guy. He tries real hard to be laid-back and funny and he's VERY proud of himself for landing an office relationship.
He likes to joke that since he and Charlotte S have the same initial, maybe their outies are married. Neither of them really believe it, but it makes Charlotte laugh so he keeps it up.
Bill and Paul play nice for the most part but he can tell they don't like him much. When he stops trying to impress them, he tries to out-do them instead.
As a perk he was once given a small yellow rubik's cube for his desk. Sometimes he thinks he hears a ticking sound from inside.
Bill
Bill Woodward took a severed job after his divorce. He thought it would be easier to not think about it for eight hours every day, and not having to deal with work stress would help him be more present in Alice's life.
Alice is vehemently anti-severance. This made things worse between them.
Bill W is curious about the inner workings of CCRP and the other departments. He wants to know what's going on with everyone and what they do. He doesn't really care about the greater function of their jobs, just what they are. He asks more questions than he should.
He has a tentative friendship with Sylvia from across the hall. They cross paths in the hallway every now and then. They like to gossip about their departments.
He's prone to arguments with Ted - they're usually pretty lighthearted and just to keep things from getting boring around the office, but sometimes they're legitimate, and he feels like his irritation is coming from somewhere else. Somewhere that's unrelated to Ted.
He wonders often if his outie is married. If he has a kid. He's old enough, he's sure. If he doesn't, that means he's alone. But if he does, he doesn't get to know those people. He's not sure which answer upsets him more.
As a perk he's been given little bouncy balls shaped like eyes to keep at his desk. Sometimes he feels like they're watching him.
Paul
Paul Matthews took a severed job as a last-ditch effort to find purpose in his life during a particularly low point of depression. As time's gone on he's developed complicated feelings about having gone through with the procedure. He knows he only did it because he was in such a bad place, and he's sure his innie hates him. But he's accustomed to his routine now and he's fine with living this way. He doesn't think he could handle changing things again.
He keeps the fact that he's severed close to his chest, he doesn't want to advertise it. He can't help getting a little defensive towards anti-severance activists, though.
Sometimes after the workday he wakes up with scratches on his arm. Stress, probably. He tries not to worry about it and clips his nails shorter.
Paul M has an obsession with the number 23. He wakes up at 9:23. He eats at 1:23. He leaves at 5:23. He also fucking hates CCRP.
He wants out. But he wants to live. So he's playing a long, quiet game. He'll comply, for now. But the second he can find a way out, he's taking it. He's done more than his share of stints in the Break Room because he has such an attitude problem, but he has yet to actively cause too much trouble.
Bill is his best friend and he is Bill's good friend.
He wants his coworkers on his side. He's a bitch but he cares about them, he wants them all to escape together.
For his perk he was given an eraser shaped like a little white mask. When he looks at it too long his ears ring.
Emma
Emma Perkins is unsevered. She's anti-severance on principle, but she's been a little more outspoken since her sister died. Jane was severed, and it's believed that a malfunction in her chip was what killed her.
She meets Paul when he starts coming to Beanie's in the morning. She considers dumping him when she finds out he's severed but decides to use his connection instead. Maybe if they can uncover some dirt on CCRP she can expose the company and procedure that killed her sister for the bullshit it is.
She wasn't a protestor or much of an activist before this, but she does take every chance she gets to radicalize her nephew. "Fuck capitalism Tim. Do you hear me. Fight the system."

Tumblr media
The day had been so, so boring. Not a single class had been even remotely interesting, the teachers going on and on about who knows what, their voices monotonous, and not even in the way that you could fall asleep to the sound of them, but in the way that every syllable was like toned-down version of the sound of nails scratching painfully down a chalkboard.
A strong headache pounds against your skull as you drag your feet to a seat at the back of the classroom. You sit down, basically throwing yourself onto the chair so you won't have to stand on your aching legs anymore. Your head goes straight to lay on the desk in front of you. Shifting around awkwardly, you try to get as comfortable as possible, in the hopes of falling asleep and getting this final period to go by as fast as possible.
However what is meant to be the start of your sleepy escape, is quickly interrupted by someone sitting down right next to you. You slightly lift your head, and see Alice Woodward landing on the seat next to you, and she looks like she's trying to hide the fact that she is equally as worn out as you are. She sighs quietly as she places her notebook and pencil case onto the desk, briefly glancing at you. You offer her a weary smile, which she mirrors softly, but not before yawning and rubbing her eyes tiredly.
Yawning with her, you lay your head back down to rest on top of your aching arms, closing your heavy eyelids as you fill your head with thoughts of your warm bed and the comfort of the sheets. Unknowingly, you shift closer to Alice.
You float in and out of sleep as the class progresses, like a small raft bobbing along the water of the vast ocean, except your raft seems to capsize frequently , which then startles you awake again. Of course you hadn't been expecting to sleep like a baby during class, but it still proves annoying to be constantly woken up.
Though this time you seem to get lucky (or just really really tired). Your eyes close once more, and you feel yourself fall into a sleep that would be the first time you've properly rested in hours. Your eyelids are heavy, like gym weights, and your body floats calmly and happily out of consciousness, the waters beneath your raft calming, softly rocking you to sleep.
Tumblr media
You're unwillingly dragging out of your slumber as your body registers an unusual weight resting on top of your tired form.
Your eyes flutter open wearily, your neck craning to look to the side. Your heart skips a beat and your eyes widen as you realise what it is, or rather who it is, that's resting on top of you. Laying awkwardly over you form, is Alice Woodward.
Her arms rest draped across your hunched-over back, her head rests on it's side, in the space between your shoulder and your neck, the side of her head nuzzling into a spot just above your shoulder-blade. She lets out soft snores and sleepy noises as snuggles into your form.
The thought of moving - and subsequently waking her up - crosses your mind briefly, but is quickly disregarded when you hear her mumbling in her sleep. Your chest tightens and your heart warms, she looks simply adorable, her calm form resting carefree atop your own. Seeing Alice like this practically gives you hearts for eyes.
You know that sadly, you'll both eventually be woken up, and will have to get up and move off of each other> Which will then of course lead to really awkward glances and 'sorry's being swapped between the two of you. But for now, you won't have to do any of that, for now you can just relax and find comfort in the fact that Alice feels comfortable and safe enough around you that she's trusted you with something like this.
Glancing up at her sleeping figure once more, you can't help but smile...
Settling back into sleep proves far easier for yourself than before. You'd never admit to anyone else but her, but your quick lull into sleep can be credited to the warmth radiating off her body, and the less literal warmth that fills your heart at even the thought of your current situation.
The comfort of Alice being right beside (or perhaps above is a better way of saying it) you, provides you with a feeling so joyful yet so calm. As thoughts of her dance across your mind, your eyes flutter closed and you're coaxed back into a peaceful slumber.
Tumblr media

A Few Headcannons Based on the Alice-Hidgens Internship (AU?):
If you don’t know what I’m talking about, go watch this TikTok and read the caption:
https://www.tiktok.com/@mariahrosefaith/video/6925575150674939142?lang=en&is_copy_url=0&is_from_webapp=v1&sender_device=pc&sender_web_id=6964853196158846470
I’ve just... always loved this concept. It’s wonderful. I accept it at full cannon at this point. And I’m like... 99% it would include the following ( I’m assuming this is a playwriting/ production internship and she’s not his TA for his biology classes):
- Hidgens is just OVER THE MOON that he finally gets to teach something he’s passionate about.
- Hidgens is also THRILLED that she’s gay and may be the biggest fans of Alice and Deb
- Speaking of Deb, she most certainly would spend her days off with Alice at the Internship and Hidgens would not only allow this but encourage it.
- Hidgens is very, very invested in Alice’s work. Especially the lesbian vampires play. Though he tries to act all preachy like a serious mentor and give “unbiased feedback” he is gushing with pride inside.
- At least once Hidgens has suggested she put the play out for licensing and have her charge the high school to perform it because “she’s worth it”.
- Alice gets to hear/ watch/ read through Working Boys every. single, day. She knows it by heart.
- She also doesn’t half mind it. It’s a good show.
- Alice brought coffee for Hidgens on her first day of work and it excited him so much that she didn’t have the heart to stop doing it, so she brings him a coffee order every day.
- Alice thinks the professor is a bit kooky and dramatic, but really what else was she expecting from a playwriting internship?
- Alice actually genuinely likes Hidgens though. He’s a sweetheart once you get past the eccentricities.
- Hidgens hears out a lot of Alice’s ideas too. He realizes a fresh perspective could always be a good thing.
- They trust each other, and through the internship she’s able to talk him down from some admittedly bad ideas- even if she thought he was just joking about them and he wasn’t.
- These ideas may be like *ahem* marrying someone for money and then killing them?
- Alice is actually able to introduce him to a ton of playwriting grants she found when applying for schools so that he doesn’t need to commit crimes
- Hidgens actually gets enough grant money/ attention because of these to mount Working Boys at the Starlight. Alice makes a point of being in the front row on opening night for him.
- Hidgens, similarly, being there for opening night of when Alice’s play is mounted at Hatchetfield High.
- Hidgens considers Alice his rant buddy. As is seen in the above TikTok, half of the time she’s listening to music, but the other half of the time she at least tries to contribute to the conversation.
- Alice becomes Henry’s favourite person- sorry Emma.
- Look, putting the two gay playwrights together was absolutely an incredible idea.
- Even after the internship is over, they stay in contact. Hidgens reads over her scripts, she reads his. They also just get together for coffee every month just because.
Please feel free to reblog and add more ideas! But yeah! I just love this whole concept, I’m grinning like an idiot writing this.

I found Hatchetfield’s real life location!
I remember someone telling me that Nick Lang said in an interview that he imagined Hatchetfield as being an island in one of the Great Lakes, which would make sense, since Team StarKid started at the university of Michigan. I was looking at Google Maps today to see if I could figure out which lake it was. I saw that Lake Huron had several islands, including one with a yacht club, but nothing significant. Then, I decided to try and find Clivesdale, which I picture as being on a peninsula. It turns out that there is a peninsula which matches my mental image, and on this peninsula is a tiny town called Bad Axe.
Tumblr media
Bad Axe was founded in the mid 1800s by George Willis Pack who, presumably like the Men with Hatchets, worked in the logging industry. He found the area while exploring Huron county wilderness, and named the town after a damaged hatchet he found there. And Bad Axe high school’s mascot is “The Hatchets”!
Bad Axe has a few other similarities to Hatchetfield, including an auto repair shop, a place called Pete’s Bar which could be the inspiration for Pizza Pete’s, and, most notably, a coffee shop called Emma’s Coffee House! this can’t be a coincidence.
Tumblr media
Several notable people have lived in Bad Axe, including film editor Bob Murawski, who worked on “The Gift”, a horror movie about a woman with psychic powers, similar to how The Gift works in Hatchetfield; and William Potts, the inventor who first created traffic lights with yellow lights, the first of which was placed in Detroit, at the intersection of Michigan Avenue and Woodward avenue, which must have been the inspiration for Bill and Alice’s last name!
Clearly, Hatchetfield has more basis in reality than we initially thought. And whatever Nick lang is planning, it’s very complex, but this could be the key to solving more of Hatchetfield’s mysteries!

love/hate songs
Since 8tracks is messed up and playmoss is gonna disappear and Spotify doesn't have many songs, I’m posting some of my playlists here. This is a list of songs about love/hate relationships for pairings. Enemies to lovers, tsundere personalities, hero/villain couplings, opposites attract, loving someone you know you shouldn't. More than a machine - Connor x reader - part 13
Tumblr media
Part 1 • Part 2 • Part 3 •  Part 4 •  Part 5 •  Part 6 • Part 7 • Part 8 • Part 9 • Part 10  • Part 11 • Part 12
You sat with Josh and felt the painkillers, that Josh had stolen somewhere, finally hitting the spot. You had eaten the poor sandwich he found and there was only a little left of the diet coke he got from a vending machine he hacked on his way back.
“I owe you, Josh. The pain is almost gone. I can actually move my shoulder without crying now.” You said with a half-smile to the android. Josh frowned at first, but gave you a light chuckle.
“I can’t imagine how it must feel like to… feel pain. Physically that is. You were lucky that it went out on the other side. Think if we had to remove it! We would have to dive right into you flesh and…”
“Thanks Josh. I don’t want to think about that.” You interrupted him and pretended that you would be sick just by the thought. That made Josh lighten up a little and he started to joke around with the android woman on the other side of him. Finding a little light in the middle of this mess was just a miracle.
Your eyes landed on Markus as he was making his way up the stairs where the altar once stood in the large church. He had been talking with people all around the church since Connor left. You guessed that he was still trying to figure out what to do. There wasn’t really much to do other than try again and again to convince the other humans to set them free. Many androids were captured and destroyed in camps all over the city. You had to at least try to rescue them. You knew it was their fight, but all other humans had to see that human can support androids too. You would be right there next to Markus, Josh or even North. So you listened when Markus spoke up.
“Humans have decided to exterminate us. Our people are packed in camps right now, being destroyed. Time has come to make a choice. One that very well may determine the future of our people.” Some of the androids around you roared as a respond to what Markus said. Some of them yelling for blood like North had done, while others were calm and collected.
“I know…. I know you are all angry. And I know you want to fight back. But I assure you, violence is not the answer here. We are going to tell them peacefully that we want justice. If there’s any humanity in them, they will listen. And if not, others will take our place and continue this fight. Are you ready to follow me?” There was a collective roar around you and everyone that was able to, stood up to cheer.
As the cheers slowly died out and the main crew of Markus, North and Josh stood discussing the last few things before leaving, the giants male android that was with Kara and Alice, stood in front of you and reached out his hand. Luther, you recalled Kara calling him.
“Can you help us before we leave?” He said as you took his hand and stood up.
“Sure. Anything.” Kara and Alice were too kind and too fragile to go into a war like this, so if you could help in any way, you would do it. Luther didn’t let go of you. He was supporting you as you walked. You were too grateful by his action, that you didn’t tell him that you didn’t really need his support, you were just limping a little. He guided you to Kara and Alice. Alice stood with her arms around Kara’s legs and looked smaller than before.
“We need to get out of here before hell breaks loose. I don’t want Alice to get hurt.” Kara said. She sounded stressed out and with good reason. People around you started to move towards Markus; ready to follow him.
“What can I help you with?” You said determined.
“We need to go to the Canadian border. We met a woman, Rose that is just like you, that helps androids. She said that it is safe for us in Canada. We need to find a way to get there.” You looked around for a moment. You didn’t know where this abandon church was, but if it was anywhere near the harbour where Jericho was, there wouldn’t be too far to the nearest bus stop.
“I have to admit I don’t know exactly where we are. But I know that the infrastructure in the city is amazing. If we are anywhere near the harbour you should be able to catch a bus from one of the main road further west. If they are still driving that is. I don’t know if the rest of the city has declared state of emergency.”
“Thank you y/n. I hope you are right with the busses.” Kara said and hugged Alice to her side.
“Please be careful out there. The police are everywhere and they might be checking everyone when they pass.”
“I will make sure they get to the border.” Luther said and you knew that he meant every word.
Right before everyone started to leave, you saw the three of them leave out of the other end of the heavily damaged church along with a few others that wanted to that the chance and get to the Canadian border. No one would blame them because what Markus was about to do had a very small survival chance. With just one action by a few hundred androids he had to turn the opinion around for the whole population of America. But you trusted Markus like everyone else around you did. So you followed along with the androids up to Woodward Avenue.
-------------------------------------------------------
It was late at night. Close to midnight you thought, by how the moon was rising on the sky. A sudden sound of propellers was around you and you flickered with the memories of the clearing of Jericho, but looking up you saw a small helicopter with a news logo on the side. It was the media that had gotten a hint and wanted to cover what was happening. No matter how this ended, it would be written about in the history books.
When you turned the corner on Woodward Avenue you gasped when you saw the police forces standing there. They were ready to greet the androids with fire. You were walking right behind Markus and were waiting for him to react, but he didn’t do anything at first.
“Surrender immediately or we will open fire!” Screamed one of the armed men and you could feel Josh walk closer to you for the next few steps. Markus stopped and then the rest of you stopped as well.
“We don’t want confrontation. We are protesting peacefully.” Markus yelled back at the soldiers.
“I repeat, surrender now or we will open fire!” The same man screamed as the ground started to shake. You looked worrisome around to see two huge tanks drive up behind you and the androids along with many armoured vehicle. They blocked the path behind you and you were now stuck in the middle.
“There is no going back now.” Markus said as much to himself as to all of you. Many of the androids looked nervously around.
“We are here to demand the immediate liberation of all androids detained in camps across the country. We are not leaving until out people are free.” Markus said loudly again, so the soldiers could hear. You limped a few stepped further up closer to Markus as the blitz from a camera came from your left. You looked passed the barricades that was places along the pavement and a dozen of journalises where standing there with cameras and microphones to get the best cover of the action.
“They have a human with them!” One of them suddenly shouted.
“Its y/n! From the first protest down town!” Yelled another. It made a lot of movement in the soldiers that were still pointing their guns at the protesting androids but looked like they were lost. They waited until someone stepped in the middle of them and barked an order that only they could hear. Afterward they all stood straight and one of them yelled the stupidest thing you had ever heard.
“Let the human go!” You were close to laughing and shook your head. You stepped forward, up next to Markus so they all could see.
“I am here by my own free will. I am here to fight for the androids rights! I am only limping because of YOU!” You pointed at the soldiers and they all looked confused again as they looked at each other.
“Let her go or we will open fire!” The commander yelled again and they threw your arms in the air in disbeliefs.
“I am here on my own!” You screamed with all you had in you. It was shrill but you wanted them all to hear.
“Fire!” was yelled before you could react. Luckily for you, one of the androids jumped to you and threw you to the ground as the first bullets flew. The pain from you shoulder was much greater than what the painkillers could keep away but your mind were somewhere else. A lot of androids got hit, but only few of them fell to the ground. You looked at those who were the unlucky once and started to tear up. The android that helped you were the WR400 you once helped. She was the second one you had taken in after Markus. She looked at you with a smile and you were glad to see that she was still alive. But when she got up to follow the rest that were still marching towards the soldiers, you could see that she had a bullet hole in her back. She had saved your life.
“Fire!” Were yelled again and more androids fell around you as they continued walking.
“Are you going to open fire at unarmed protesters?” Markus said loud but calmly to the armed men and you could hear the flicking of cameras sounded from the barricades again. The media were loving this and it was a good way to show who was right and who was clearly wrong in this.
The moment after Markus took a decision and sat down on the ground. All the other androids followed around you. You supported yourself on your good arm as you sat up along with them. The reporters were talking fast, taking pictures and filming while the helicopter was still hanging over you. You were sure that that was the reason for the commander of the soldiers to make them hold the fire.
Hurry up Connor.

There will be trivia with prizes for correct answers, so brush up on your knowledge of the game.
