ok i dont rlly have a well thought out plot in mind but basically. Alex goes to SAS for extra training K-Unit and the time hr's training there is coincidentally the same time the SAS soldiers are training with the 141 and maybe KorTac and so Alex meets like. Ghost and Soap and stuff

i just think it'd be funny if Ghost met a 14-15 y.o british spy that can and has handled guns and literally killed people before. like i just wanna see it play out

bonus points if alex gets teased for his codename being Cub + K-Unit already knowing the 141 + alex beating ATLEAST one 141 member in a sparring match

Rereading Skeleton Key in the Alex Rider series right now and just realized something

Artemis Fowl: Arctic Incident was published in May 2002

Alex Rider: Skeleton Key was published in July 2002

Both take place in Murmansk (specifically iirc they take place in the same submarine base)

so now I'm choosing to believe that both happened in-universe and this base is just very very unlucky to have first a twelve-year-old and then a fourteen-year-old boy fuck their shit up

Blunt/MI6 being Moff Gideon/The Empire (them wanting to use alex for his force and because of his father)(Yassen breaking out Alex after delivering him to them cause he realizes he wont just let himself do that)(not to Hunter's child)

That moment where Din's name is revealed could be Yassen's name revealed to be 'Yasha'

Alex would have so much fun with the force. He'd be a MENACE and Yassen would need the patience of a SAINT(John and Ian having the force too??)

Alex’s chest is hollow.

“Your parents work for the Foundation,” he says softly. “That’s why you’re on the run, isn’t it? Because they would turn you in?”

Danny pulls into himself even closer. “No—I—I don’t know,” Danny snaps. He has that same wild animal look in his eye that Alex saw on their first day together. “You don’t—It doesn’t matter now.”

Alex’s eyes locked onto the only figures he could see that weren’t fleeing, and some predatory instinct cultivated through long practice recognized them as hostiles. Four of them, spanning the width of the street. It was the assurance they moved with. Deliberation while the world around them devolved into chaos. But what the fuck kind of assault team were they? Baggy black clothing, hoods drawn low over their faces. Their uniforms were a tactical nightmare, and didn’t ring familiar for any of the more ideological terror organizations SCORPIA sometimes encountered.

They were advancing down the street without care for who might see them.

That was a mistake.

The shock of the ambush was receding, leaving cold purpose behind in its place. MI6 was plainly incapable or unwilling to secure its own territory. That oversight would be remedied.

Center-left, target raised a hand, sleeve flapping back to reveal pale, unprotected skin underneath. No visible armor. No visible weapon but a curling tattoo that appeared to move and twist.

That was good enough for Alex. He wasn’t Yassen, probably never would be. But… four targets in a line. Put three down, try and secure the fourth for retrieval and interrogation.

Not waiting to see if the target had some sort of remote for a secondary device, Alex deepened his stance and pulled the trigger. The target dropped. Before the retort from the gun faded, so had another.

He expected return fire, but the other two were recoiling, bulky robes swirling as they tried to retreat from the bodies of their teammates, In the chaos, one of their hoods fell back to reveal a stylized mask underneath. Identifying details. Alex adjusted his aim and fired again.

His bullet never met its target, because his target was suddenly gone.

Not collapsed, not fleeing. Both of the remaining targets vanished as if they had never been there at all, except for the two bodies cooling on the asphalt.

Some questions for you all or whoever wants to answer: Have you ever thought about side stories or spin-offs here? And what kind of writing do you enjoy most (action scenes, reveals, etc)?

Hi beachpie!! Thank you for this ask! We all had something to say! @kkachis said: 1. yes we have. mostly in the form of improbable crossovers because TTB alex and danny are the main iterations of these characters in our brains and we love making our blorbos meet each other 2. for me i like choreographing action and writing horror scenes the best @artistfingers said: i like to write silly dialogue and shenanigans and, anything revolving around lying, half-truths, concealed identities… you name it. when characters are on different pages and when the reader knows or suspects something a character doesn't… when the narrative conceals nuances of a character's understanding… i love that shit. i guess my favorite writing is very character-based and personal. with TTB i've also had a ton of fun practicing action and very literary styles too!

As for me (@ghostly-cabbage) : 1. In the main story of TTB? Not so much. Mostly because it's going to be such a monster of a fic that, honestly? Everything that we want to touch on and explore we probably will! I won't say never tho 👀. Adding onto what kkachis said, we totally also think and talk about OTHER crossovers asdfghj. For a period of time we went absolutely insane on discord with @abrielarnold about a Danny and Alex crossover with Lockwood & Co. Recently, we even ping-ponged some hilarious crack type stuff of TTB! Danny, Alex and Yassen crossover with Generator Rex. It never fails to be SO much fun. 2. My favorite stuff to write is ovbs the horror stuff but more than that, I love quiet heartfelt moments between characters. Is the scene soft and melancholic? Gentle and bitter sweet? I am THERE. I also LOVE LOVE LOVE to write altered mind states. Be it from dissociation, panic/flashbacks, drugs, doesn't matter. Anything that gives me an excuse to fuck with the literary style? I want to do it.

Alex Rider Baby Driver au??? (SLAY) (in case you didn't watch Baby Driver it's about a young Getaway driver (called Baby))

Alex as Baby (obviously)(omg his codename would be Cub😭)( he's a speed demon for sure)(tho Alex would NOT be quiet like Baby, he'd mouth off a lot and prolly get punched a few times)(assuming Alex would be 14 then the heists that would take place would take place before the movie)(or it could be still following the movie events AND THEN IT COULD BE ALEX GETTING FREE OF SCORPIA (Doc / The heist groups being SCORPIA?)

The other criminals that join the jobs could be AR villains?? (They dont really like baby in the movies so it would fit)

Who would be Doc? It could be someone from SCORPIA if we're going that way. Ooo it could be Yassen (Doc forcing Baby to be his driver and dragging him into the criminal world. Then at the end of the movie helping baby get away)(that seams very Yassen-like (with him killing Ian and basically kickstarting Alex's fall into the intelligence world. And then trying to protect alex in the end by not shooting him)(or if we're going the TV verse, then training him and saving his life by shooting Nile)

Joe would be Jack

And Deborah could be Sabina(or Kyra) if you need a romantic relationship

Or it could be platonic with Tom

Or it could be just Alex wanting to free himself on his own too XDD

Doc/ the heist groups could also be mi6??? If you wanna go the opposite direction. Blunt being Doc (tho I'm not sure how much I like that since Doc gets kinda 'redeamed' at the end and I'm not gonna excusing Blunt)(So I think Yassen is better for the job)

Tho if its mi6 one heist crew could be the K Unit

Or the K Unit being a heist crew could be added without mi6/ Blunt being Doc (just cause it would be cool and you could make either Nice K Unit or Shit K Unit)

Guys I dreamed that yassen, Peter Hale & I were in some weird maze and I met Marc Uwe Kling (a german author) and he was really attraktive and he drew two little guys for me on a postcard for my mum but then yassen, Peter & I had to hightail it again because we were still being hunted in a maze. Peter just broke through walls like it was nothing and yassen protected me from our pursuers. Idk who was even after us. I saw them and I have no idea still. We did meet the hunter who was running around Silas‘s island in vampire diaries at one point. But i think someome just had his face. Because I remember dream thinking „hey that guy looks like the guy from vampire diaries“ which is a truly wild thing to be weird about in a dream while you’re being hunted with yassen gregorowich and Peter Hale.
