I have the silliest little idea for a meta human OC who becomes a superhero to help folks. A teenage fem presenting heroine. Gale or something. Wind powers.

Then she suddenly drops off the face of the earth. Years later her equally meta human twin brother Typhoon pops up and says his sister unfortunately passed away but he was inspired by her heroic nature and came out to be a hero in memory of her.

The catch is— they’re the same person. Just trans as hell. He figured it would be easier to fake a heroic tragic demise than come out as himself. The character would serve as a meta commentary on having to play a part and sell a story in a world where super humans are commonplace.

I was struck with this idea at like 2 am and I just had to draw it. North, (human) Aster and Jack flexing :))

Despite acting as though nothing bothers her-- Mira does have some insecurity about her height. Growing up she grew quickly-- outstripping other girls at the boarding school her parents sent her to [so they wouldn't have to deal with her 'unladylike behavior']. She was made fun of and mocked for her body type and height-- even called 'too boyish' by classmates.

Dating was a challenge-- most guys aren't interested in women taller than them. Mira was unaware of her orientation til much later in life-- so the struggle was real. She either skipped most school dances and functions, or went solo when attendance was mandatory.

She never had many friends growing up-- as being the school freak, along with her 'behavioral issues' led to early isolation.

The first time she felt like she actually belonged somewhere was when she underwent training with Zoey and Rumi. HUNTR/X was the first place she actually belonged-- and as such she'd fight for her found family.

Absolutely-- 100% loves stepping on men.

When it comes to men and masculine presenting folk-- Mira is the dom. There is no debate on that-- she's in charge and you're lucky to be with her. She'll make this clear to any gents who actually manage to grab her attention and interest.

For the femmes-- she's far softer. She might even let the right kind of lady take charge. Same goes for nonbinary and agender peeps-- Mira can be putty in their hands. But if they want that hard 'fuck you' energy, she's capable of that too.

Flings and one night stands are given NDAs to sign-- given her fame she needs to take those extra steps to prevent folk from trying to monetize being with her. Mira's never really considered a serious relationship, as she sees intimacy as a means of stress relief more than anything.
