Man, today was really rough and really bad and really long and and I just needed my son today. I really needed my son, you guys.

beyond insane that 3 free alleged blu ray players + vlc modified so it SHOULD play blu ray have all completely failed to work. god forbid people want to view the content they legally own & paid for???
#luckily the rip ended up working for 2 of the discs it was just the first kne giving me problems which made me think theyd probably ALL have#the same problem bcus it didnt seem like uhd would make a difference for the rip only for the playback on my incompatible laptop#beats me ig??? but still like why has it taken me hours & theres no straightforward way to just PLAY the discs i bougjt the discs i bought#the player i downloaded rhe software. even the software that came w the player had a bunch of nonsense bloatware type garbage & using the#media player aka the ONLY feature kf the siftware i needed it said blu ray player not found#like ON THE SIFTWARE THAT CANE WITH THE BLURAY PLAYER I BOUGHT?? I think it is genuinely really funny that of all the Lance's from my different aus, the most chill one out of all of them is the one who got violently murdered and came back as an unperceivable eldritch horror whose first act after coming back was vengence on the guy who killed him and then steal his house.
#Not to say he doesnt have issues. For one he isnt remembered by anyone and is so utterly alone#And two everyone who he interacts with him sees a distorted version of themselves rather than him#(Which would be fun considering both Shiro and Allura aka the only two who cld remember him keep rejecting parts of themselves)#But yeah compared to the others? schrodeinger reality!Lance is just less on fire garbage can#Ps8!Lance literally landed himself in a coma and communing with horrors because he rather try necromancy and isolation over therapy#c&ai!Lance depressed ass literally got bullied into found family by a spunky teenager and an aimless clone#And would literally rather chew glass than accept that#1) he is depressed and misses his family and friends 2) he was wrong for leaving like that and is sorry#There's another Lance who is trying to kill a god like being and fights voltron the robot who has gained sentience#(This au is still in workshop but yeah)#Compared to all of That Sr!Lance is doing marginally better emotional state wise#And honestly? breakfast for the last few days has been a bagel thin with egg salmon and cottage cheese topping it is the most delicious thing in the world but it does look exactly like eating regurgitated friskies cat food
#been eating a loooot more salmon lately much to the tease of the cats in the house they love the smell#they try and hop up and counters and shit and lick plates very annoying#most of my meals are what i call a protein salad aka throwing a lot of random garbage into a bowl of lettuce and cabbage and cauliflower#i need to start making like meals with an entree and side dish and not just. eating things all mixed together in a bowl

fucking pray fr me. i m not sure where my phone is
#i THINK i left it at my volunteering. it ran frm 12.30 till 15h and i went fr drinks w a guy right after being fully focused on conversation#so i didnt realise i was missing smth until i got home at like19h aka long after the museum had closed like hahha. oh no.#again i THINK i left my phone there. thank god a quick google search (on my LAPTOP) confirmed the musuem opens at 9 tmrw#and i dont have to be at work until 10 so thank GOD i can go there and pick it up. hopefully. if i DID in fact leave it there#if they dont have my phone???? fucking pray for me#my first thought was NO. MY TWO YEAR DAILY DUOLINGO STREAK and only the second or third thought was THE GUY IM DATING rip#but anyway yea do i THINK my phone is safe still at this museum. yes. however did i run back downstairs to rifle through the PMD garbage bag#which i had filled tied up and put outside in that interim btwn coming back frm the drinks and realising my phone was gone. well-#PRAY FOR ME. i will not rest until it is in my hands again. pray no one sends me an important text or snapchat in between. i can not read it#my work correspondence as well. all through my phone babes!!
