My fifth Ahsoka Tano redesign, this time it’s her Rebels outfit.

It’s been awhile since I’ve done one of these; this was actually drawn last year, I just never posted it XD •_•.

But anyways….

I wanted to do something completely different from her Rebels design this time. While her official outfit is fine, it’s still a little too simple at the same time; that might be because of the animation style, but I’m not going to be excuse that.

Now this is going into some AU territory here….

For starters, I gave her a Jedi Temple Guard’s uniform. I mixed different variations from, I believe, The Clone Wars concept art, to kinda symbolize that she had to scrap together what she could find.

The mask as you can see is broken so that it can fit across her face.

Cloth covers almost all of her head-tails for secrecy.

The skirt portion splits at the sides for easier movement.

The reason why I put her in a Temple Guards uniform is so that she could hide her identity from the Empire. And also because, I highly doubt that being Anakin Skywalker’s padawan didn’t make her recognizable on some degree. (also her face was plastered everywhere across Coruscant at a point).

Another point for her hiding her identity is that if the Empire discovered that Skywalker’s padawan survived, she would be hunted down mercilessly.

I did keep her Togruta cultural pieces, since she is easily identifiable as a Togruta and I don’t think you could figure out who she is based off of that.

The head piece is based off of one of Padme’s concept designs. Although I forget from which movie I’m afraid.

Now for the lightsabers, I had the idea that Ahsoka would try to find other Jedi survivors during this time. But all she finds are discarded lightsabers, if she’s lucky.

The white lightsaber in the middle is, Plo Koon’s.

The two on the left are, Katooni’s and Zatt’s.

The two on the left are Aayla Secura’s and Ki-Adi Mundi’s.

She uses a different saber every time she encounters an a Inquisitor, while also trying to use different saber forms as a way to shield her identity.

Okay listen I know we’re all unhappy because “Ahsoka was never actually a Jedi Knight” well

1. Yoda was ready to make her a Jedi Knight. She chose to leave instead. So she wasn’t really a Padawan when she left either.

2. Luke Skywalker just made himself a frickin Jedi Knight and then Master so Ahsoka can be whatever the heck she wants to be.

3. Little reminder that most of the people alive in the galaxy don’t really even know who the Jedi were. Now they’re just myths. To them, anyone with a lightsaber could be a Jedi Knight.

4. Ahsoka was more a Jedi Knight than most of the actual Jedi Knights. She lived out the code better than the entire council don’t fight me on this you know I’m right.

With the sheer number of Venator and Arquitens class cruisers lost under Anakin and Obi-Wan’s command, they’re both extremely fortunate that Padme didn’t serve on the Senate Budget Committee.

My fourth redesign of Ahsoka Tano! This time it’s her Mandalorian outfit from the Clone Wars finale.

I don’t necessarily hate her original outfit from that Arc but it’s just so…….boring. It’s so similar to her second Padawan outfit, I just find it so simple and boring.

So i wanted to give this outfit a complete redesign.

I of course did keep her Togrutan Cultural items like: her Akul teeth, her Togrutan sash, the piece in front of sash (that was taken from Shaak Ti concept art), and the Anooba teeth (which I attached to the pouch on her arm).

I designed new jewelry that sits on her montrals.

The brown helmet-like wrap around her face is actually taken from concept art of her Rebels design.

I kept the idea of a red head wrap from my previous design but made it shorter so it wouldn’t get in the way of fighting.

Now, I wanted to give her actual Mandalorian armor instead of whatever she was wearing in her original outfit.

Her vest, gauntlets, boots, and the white bag were all taken from concept art of The Mandalorian; I didn’t keep her Clone armor because I made her taller so she would’ve outgrown the pieces. (but I did keep the Clone belt).

Her blue skirt has the same design as her original Mandalorian outfit because I did like the pattern.

Now the colorful pelt around her skirt is actually the skin of a Spice Spider that can (according to Wookiepedia) supposedly be found on Kessel.

I mostly just wanted to give her a new pelt and since Ahsoka did visit Kessel I figured you could suspend your disbelief a bit and imagine that Ahsoka killed a Spice Spider, and collected its hide as a trophy.

What do you think of this one? Thoughts? Opinions? I’m open to them.

concept design for shaak ti’s lekku prop that i’m making for a friend 🤝

i convinced a few of my friends to cosplay some star wars characters with me, including me as captain rex, commander cody @t3tch0, ahsoka tano, padmé amidala & shaak ti. since i’ve finally set up my 3D printer, I can finally use it for my cosplays too! i love making props (not the best at it, but i blame my disability and motor issues for that) and i really wanna get better at it!

i’ve only cosplayed for myself so far but i really wanna share that interest with the world 🌍

i’m super excited about this cosplay project and seeing my friend as my favourite characters 💞

I thought the first two episodes of Ahsoka were good, but really, my only complaint is that all the characters are just so muted. I know there has to be a change from animation to live action, but I'm so tired of seeing wild chaotic Ahsoka being the most stoic "wise" jedi. I wish the show would remember that she left when she was still a Padawan, and never even made it to jedi knight, and went straight to rebel. Yes she can be mature, but I really miss her having fun. I do really like Rosario Dawson but it just feels like the most cookie cut out jedi performance and it makes me sad.
