It was really fun, ive never drawn in the undertale battle style before so i was surprised at how easy it felt, granted it still took a little while but nowhere near as long as i expected.

So, uhh, yeah. Papyrus is cool, challenge was fun, hope you enjoy.

i wonder if (Saint) Xelqua regresses sometimes without fully turning into the kid form.

Just suddenly more whiny, bratty, stomps his bird foot, generally just doesn’t want to deal with anything—well this is more of a tantrum isn’t it, but Grian manages to calm him down, pats his head without thinking and Xelqua leans into the touch slightly.

That’s something the kid form does, seeks out comfort from Grian specifically, not that the Saint would be aware of that fully, but he is subconsciously also doing it.

Grian suggests they go flying. They can play tag and chase each other around the sky.

#just thinking. i saw an age regress tag and remembered ah that’s basically what Xelqua does..#more complicated of course and actual body switching #but I wondered if it’s something he’d do without body switching #xelquas personality by default is pretty playful. I consider the graphic novels to be their own individual canon - they're an adaptation of the source material and follow a different series of events than book canon, so they're in the same category as like the movies, show, or musical to me (and DS game, lmao). They exist completely separate from the canon they're adapting from, so they're their own entities.

The material I consider strictly "canon" is the first series, so Percy Jackson And The Olympians only. Then HoO and TOA as extraneous canon on top of that - sort of a like "recommended but optional." TKC and MCGA also kind of operate as their own canons within themselves but can be linked to main PJO canon, so similar category. Published companion novels and similar material (so like Singer of Apollo) are also optional add-ons.

Stuff like Un Natale Mezzosangue and Nachos After The War where they weren't ever formally published are non-canon official material to me, kind of in the same vein as promotional material released alongside the books (the activity guides and such). The official art exists in the same sphere to me. I also personally consider CHB: Austin's lore to be semi-canon or non-canon official material, because they're actually affiliated with Rick Riordan (he has directly interacted with the camp's activities in the past) and I think it's just kind of cute.

The ReadRiordan articles are just straight up strictly non-canon. They just are. That is just an objective fact about them. I am slightly more lenient towards some of the old official Riordan website's media, like the interactive Argo II map descriptions, just since those descriptions were one-and-done and presumably had to have been approved versus a ton of articles with different anonymous unaffiliated authors. It's at best in the same category as the non-canon official promotional material.

As for Sadie and Carter wearing camp t-shirts - it's a cute cameo! And also kind of interesting in that they're technically one of first official published depictions we have of the camp shirts with any kind of details on them (the old official art doesn't count actually cause that was also bonus material).

My high school did a yearly poetry recitation contest (Poetry Out Loud), so Oh Boy do I know some poems. My favorites are Ozymandias and "the world is about to end and my grandparents are in love," by Kara Jackson. Also in 8th grade we had a Poe unit and had a class contest to make the best music video of the Raven, so I still know a good chunk of that.

i hadn't heard of the kara jackson one! just read through it and enjoyed it, particularly these lines > 'grandma returns to her love like a hymn, marks it with a color. // when the world ends will it suck the earth of all its love? /will i go taking somebody’s hand, / my skin becoming their skin?'

Hello hello again! Anon is back for more MCC Time Warp because I am enjoying the topic.

Mostly because I'm looking at the list of participants and seeing bb fWhip and knowing that oh that could be chaos with bb Grian if they're left without a babysitter. Am picturing lil Solidarity going 'wait you grew up where? we're going to do normal childhood things' and enlisting lil fWhip's help, and then immediately regretting everything.

This ask has been marinating because I really wanted to watch Fwhip to give like - a proper headcanon on it or write a short bit or something but I never got around to it and considering ive had TV shows and the such on my watch list for 4 years despite having plenty of time, I should just. Answer it have this read the alt text

I am aware at the least that Fwhip covering his face is out of character but I really didn't want to imagine Fwhip with a beard. It would have been incredibly cursed, but when you said "immediately regrets everything" I could only imagine a fire, caused by Fwhip being. Fwhip, Grian just assuming that the fire would die out within a minute or two and then it didn't, and Solidarity panicking and escalating the entire situation. Smajor came around to check on them considering Solidarity snuck out from the clinic and I Totally Didn't Forget Why Jimmy Was In There And Didn't Want To Deal With It and came across three teenagers acting like incompetent Sims.

Afterwards maybe Scott would have lead the three over to the Ace Race clouds map because to me it's always looked like a cool place to splash around with all the water and such, as long as you avoid falling to the void there's not *too* much you can actually get hurt with in the water areas.

Actually if I were to rank it, the top four fandoms I've had the biggest impact on would probably be MMX, QSMP, Steven Universe, and then Transformers in that order.

MMX I dominated Ao3 (last I checked 90% of my fics are still top of the fandom kudos ranking)#(not even sorting by ship just sorting by tag. and ngl I'm still very proud about that)#QSMP I did the timestamp archive and clips as RA #For SU I ran GHQ for 7 frickin years. which is still insane to think about #I remember when I went to the SU art show Grace instantly clocked who I was #which was mortifying and flattering at the same time #and then for TF I was the only person who took notes on Mae's super in-depth post-Cyberverse interview #It's really cool but also crazy to think about how much work I've done for all these fandoms #Like. I talk about GHQ and RA when talking to employers and potential employers #because of how much time and effort went into that #I dunno just thinking a lot about the past today #I still wanna finish that MMX fic someday I still love my MMX readers #and I love seeing how many people still read them #:')#it's an old community and small at the time but new waves of people come and go #it's cool seeing who passes by
