i wonder if (Saint) Xelqua regresses sometimes without fully turning into the kid form.

Just suddenly more whiny, bratty, stomps his bird foot, generally just doesn’t want to deal with anything—well this is more of a tantrum isn’t it, but Grian manages to calm him down, pats his head without thinking and Xelqua leans into the touch slightly.

That’s something the kid form does, seeks out comfort from Grian specifically, not that the Saint would be aware of that fully, but he is subconsciously also doing it.

Grian suggests they go flying. They can play tag and chase each other around the sky.

#just thinking. i saw an age regress tag and remembered ah that’s basically what Xelqua does..#more complicated of course and actual body switching #but I wondered if it’s something he’d do without body switching #xelquas personality by default is pretty playful.
