Mr. Wolf comforts you while you're overstimulated

Disclaimer: This experience won’t be universal and I based this off of my overstimulated experience; this is also my first fanfic, so I hope I wrote coherently and Mr.Wolf and the other characters don’t seem ooc :]

Everything in the warehouse was too much.

The lights were too bright and the guys and the TV were too loud.

Now, this isn’t your first time having a sensory overload, but the pain never gets any easier, especially when you’re little.

Your body became stuck while you were getting a snack in the kitchen, so now you were in a ball on the floor by the stove; you didn’t get why your executive function didn’t understand that you were in pain and needed to get away from the stimuli, but you hoped that the hands over your ears could help soothe you somehow.

But, it got harder and harder to suppress your whines and you hoped nobody noticed, but at the time you didn’t think about a wolf’s great sense of hearing.

“You guys hear that?”Wolf stopped watching the TV to figure out where the whines were coming from.

“Yeah, I heard that! The sound of that guy runnin' from the cops, I’m rootin' for him!” Piranha cheered at the TV screen while the news was playing.

“ Ah c’mon, look at his running form, he’ll never get away!” Tarantula nagged at Piranha.

“Uh-uh, now's no time for science, it’s all about strength and power!” Shark flexed in front of the TV.

“Get out of the way!” Piranha and Tarantula shouted, “Idiots” grunted Snake at the three of them.

“No, I heard some whimpering, anybody heard from Y/n lately?”

“No, thought they went to bed. Why?” Snake narrowed his eyes at Wolf.

“I’m gonna go check on them,” Wolf lifted himself from the shared couch.

“He’s real soft on that kid”, Snake still narrowing his eyes, but now at Wolf’s empty seat

“ Don’t be that like that, they’re just a kid and kids need extra help, I remember when I was a kid-” Shark raised his fin, about to go on a rant.

“Okay, didn’t ask, Shark”. Snake turned his focus back towards the TV.

“Awwww”, Shark said with his head down sadly, then also turned back towards the TV.

“Y/n! Where are you, pup?” Wolf tried to follow the sound into the kitchen until he saw your figure in the corner of your eye.

“Hey, hey, hey, what’s going on, hm?” he spoke while crouching down in front of you.

When overstimulated, you found it hard to speak and you couldn’t look up at him because then the lights would come into your direct view.

“Okay, okay, you don’t have to speak, but can I touch you? I want to take you to a spot with less lightning, sweetpea.”

You nodded your head. You knew Wolf would never hurt you on purpose.

He held you in a bridal stance, so you didn’t have to take your hands off your ears and took you to a darker area of the warehouse.

“There we go, that’s better, isn’t it? You try to get comfortable and I'll go get your headphones and go tell the guys to turn down the TV, okay?”

You nodded yet, again

“Can you turn it down? It’s hurting my pup’s ears”. Wolf stood next to the TV with his hands in his pockets.

Snake, Shark, and Tarantula all fell asleep, leaving Piranha the only one awake.

“C’mon man, it was just getting good” Piranha complained.

“Maybe I didn’t make myself clear enough. Turn down the tv, the kid cannot stand to hear the tv right now” he spoke while pointing at your still shaking figure. “If I find the tv was turned up one notch, then when I left it, there will be no tv, got it?” Wolf Snarled, showing all of his teeth.

“Fineeeee” Piranha said while rolling his eyes, “Nobody’s scared of all the teeth you have, I bet I have more”. He said under his breath as Wolf walked away.

“Okay, I’m back and I have your headphones and your favorite sweater” Wolf sang while shaking the sweater like a new toy; it basically was. That sweater had the best texture among Wolf’s sweaters and he knew you’d like that in your time of need.

You carefully unlatched your hands from your ears and immediately put on your headphones, you then put your sweater and ruffled the front of it on the pads of your fingers.

“Feels nice, huh pup? You okay now?” Wolf cooed while sitting down and sliding you into his arms.

“It’s wayyy past your bedtime, ain’t it sweetheart? So get comfortable, we're gonna be here all night.”

As you snuggled into Wolf’s chest, the last thing you felt was a kiss being pressed on your forehead.

I came running here at the speed of light, please please please can I have some little! Toralei headcanons? With Clawdeen as a possible CG? Sksksks cause with all the trauma toralei goes through/has gone through, you can’t tell me she doesn’t secretly regress in private to cope with everything. I mean girls got a life time of abuse and -5 healthy coping mechanisms. I’m surprised more people haven’t thought of this

why of course!! regressor toralei isn't something ive thought about much but it makes sense!!! again going off of g3 bc you implied it + im most familiar with it

toralei regresses from about 5-7 i think

toralei also didn't realize she was a regressor for the longest time despite regressing for a while

clawdeen is like a big sister to her when she's small!

toralei is very very very shy about her regression

she actually didn't *tell* clawdeen, clawdeen accidentally found out

however clawdeen is a great person and she was so accepting (that didn't mean that toralei's ears weren't pushed back the entire time they talked though)

toralei is fussy and insistent that she's not a baby, she's a big girl! clawdeen always laughs quietly at this

toralei's favorite activity is playing with toys, especially ones that require her to run around (think a laser pointer), but she really doesn't mind what's going on as long as she has attention

toralei is an involuntary regressor 100%, usually it stems from negative emotions, like feeling alone or neglected

if she's super small, sometimes toralei does call clawdeen motherly titles :-(

toralei doesn't own regression gear necessarily but she does love a baby blanket she has

clawdeen likes to show toralei human toys and stuff– of course, toralei will call them gross human things for babies (but will inspect it further and maybe play with it if she thinks clawdeen isn't looking)

toralei doesn't ask for attention at first, but she does act out to try and get it in some way. as she gets more comfortable with clawdeen as a cg and in general, clawdeen kinda knows when she needs attention and toralei is less afraid to ask

clawdeen is a bit of a pushover when it comes to toralei so if toralei wants something, there's a 95% chance she'll give it to her

this is not helped by toralei being a bit bratty while small

toralei really likes playing with dolls! she doesn't have any of her own when she first started regressing but clawdeen brought some of her old ones from home. toralei was hesitant to play at first because they're human dolls but she warmed up pretty quickly

toralei also really likes card games! although she does have a tendency to cheat..

I mean, what’s a kid to do in a big house like this?

The black walls were pretty sure, and the gold frames on the painting were nice, as well, but surprisingly, there weren't any ghosts in this house—other than yourself, of course.

As soon as you properly died, you became attached to this house, a house you'd never seen before, and no matter how hard you tried, you couldn’t leave.

So again, what’s a ghost kid like you to do?

A constant thought you had during your time at the strangely cool house; a thought that was interrupted by the sound of jangling keys.

"Okay gang, here’s our new home!" Wolf announced, his arms turned toward the group, displaying the house.

"Oh you gotta be kidding me" Snake muttered as he face palmed with his tail.

"Um. Wolf. What the heck is this?" Piranha stated with genuine confusion.

"Okay, don’t panic, people! We may have just gotten the wrong address." Tranuala announced while clacking on her computer before coming to a conclusion, "Yeah no, they scammed us." She groaned while turning her computer around to the group to see what their new warehouse was supposed to look like.

"Yeahh, that don't look nothing like that," Piranha conveniently pointed out.

"I’m going back to the car." Snake turned to return to the car, but was grabbed by Shark.

"C'mon, Mr. Grumpy Pants, it can’t be as bad on the inside; have faith!" Shark cheered while marching to the front door.

As Shark opened the front door, everyone in the group grimaced.

"Yeah, it is that bad," Snake affirmed, still in Shark’s arm.

Whatever.

Everything in this house is so weird and frightening; now there are new people in YOUR house >:(

You crept behind the red and black-patterned armchair as you tried to figure out if these people were a threat without being seen.

"Well, ain’t this a fixer-upper?" Wolf verified this by swiping his finger on the dust-covered stairs.

"Yeah, as Wolf said, it's a fixer-upper, so we can fix her up." Shark asserted, trying to take the optimistic route in their new situation.

"I guess this is alright. I’m gonna go check the place out!" Tranuala cheering while running up the stairs.

"Yeah, me too!"  Piranha beamed, following right after her.

Okay, so they didn’t seem so bad.

Everyone went to search around the house except the wolf.

Oh no.  What if he’s on to you?

Wait, can wolves sense ghosts?

Even if he does, he doesn’t seem bad, right?

You went to look at him from a different angle when you accidentally knocked over a small stool.

With the speed he turned to the area of the noise, he might not be able to see ghosts, but he could definitely hear them.

Or maybe you’re just a really noisy kid.

"Hello" Wolf spoke cautiously to you.

You turned your head to see if someone was behind you, because surely he couldn’t be talking to you.

"I’m talking to you, kid. Come out from over there." Wolf stood by the chair in front of the knocked-over stool.

You did the exact opposite—you ran through a nearby wall. Don’t blame yourself; you don’t know who this guy is!

"Fine, I’ll just nap here until you come out. I've got all day, kid; I’m not going anywhere." Wolf nuzzled himself in a chair across from the wall you went through.

That resulted in you pouting to yourself—why won’t these people just leave?

For added courage, you took your moon plushie to confront Mr. Wolf.

You floated in front of Wolf until you were face to face with him, which made Wolf bolt back in his chair.

"Hey, hey, hey, no need to get that close!" Wolf said while straightening his clothes and running his fingers through his fur.

"Oh sorry." You spoke quietly while hiding behind your stuffed moon.

Whether you are a noisy kid or not, all of that went out the window when talking to this tall wolf.

"Whose that, hmm?" He was pointing to the moon in your arms.

You jerked your plushie away from him out of protectiveness, scared he was going to take it from you.

He crouched to your eye level and said, "Relax; I’m not gonna take it from you. I just wanna know its name."

"It’s s/m/n." You mumbled into your moon’s plush body.

"I don’t know why you were so against telling me; that’s a nice name."

Wolf’s smile felt very parental; it made you relax a bit and float more towards the ground.

"Thank you!"  You giggled.

"So how’d you get here before us?"

"Oh, I spawned here, and I can’t leave." You commented as you looked down sadly.

"And what do you mean by that?"

You looked to see if he was joking; was it not obvious that you were a ghost? Though, you only saw hesitation on his face.

Cidjdisjis your headcanons made my brain all fuzzy (it means I loved them) and OMG the unparalleled angst of Toralei calling Clawdeen mom names when she’s really regressed or scared cause her irl mom is a peice of trash 🥺. Absolutely going feral. Ooo and I think I didn’t see but would love to note is that she just has so many little habits that are ‘considered’ childish, but she still has them cause she’s been so regulated whenever her moms around. So they slip out when she’s not. Aka she totally plays with the yarn charms on her boots. Rocks on her heels, definitely has a fear of thunder. DEFINITELY sucks her thumb in her sleep/when no one is looking. Wrings her hands a lot. Does a lot of stuff involving her hands cause of restless energy.

clawdeen finding out about toralei's regression -

it was definitely accidental

i think clawdeen + toralei were searching for something in toralei's room and found her baby blanket

immediately toralei got super defensive and was trying to act like it was nothing

clawdeen was skeptical but put it back and continued as usual

a few days later clawdeen has to visit toralei again for something, but when toralei opens the door she seems.. different

she's in pajamas, she's shuffling more, her eyes seem bigger, her fur seems spikier– she just seems younger in general

clawdeen asks her about this in the most gentle and non-judgmental way she can

toralei tries to look all angry, but then her ears go back and she asks clawdeen not to tell anyone

of course, clawdeen agrees! she says she's friends with other regressors and it isn't a big deal to her. she just wants to make toralei comfortable

toralei lights up at this and, just like magic, she has found a cg!

they definitely take on more sibling roles to toralei

i think toralei told them when they were visiting so if they found some regression things clawdeen gave her or she was acting differently they knew why

the twins were very accepting and understood perfectly!

meowlody loves playing with toralei! she especially loves playing pretend and will get super into her role

purrsephone, meanwhile, prefers to take a back seat and do less hands on, active things with toralei

one thing they all love to do, though, is play dress up

...playing dress up usually just results in a little toralei doing a fashion show and the twins enthusiastically cheering her on from the audience (as well as helping her into her costumes)

their love for music doesn't go away when toraleis small! they like performing kid songs, playing on toy instruments, and having sing-alongs and dance parties!

purrsephone is a bit more strict and good at reeling toralei in when she's being a bit too bratty and demanding

Here he is, buying Florida Lottery tickets at the Circle K store. No, there he is at the pet shop, ordering a rhinestone necklace for his monkey. Or is he driving that yellow Ryder rental truck?

Only the elusive Michael Jackson knows for sure, but phantom sightings of the superstar singer during his two-week stay in Pensacola are driving the city crazy.

He sends vibrations to you," said Karen Griffiths, 30. "I love him to death. I don't care what anybody says. . . . Michael Jackson was put on this Earth for a reason. He's just one talented person."

All week, fans have wooed Jackson, trying to coax him to show his famous face by Valentine's Day. They have waited, waved, pleaded, petitioned and even starved themselves to try to win Jackson's attention.

To no avail -- until Friday.

This is Jackson's only weekend in Pensacola. He is expected to leave by the end of next week after rehearsing at the Pensacola Civic Center for a 13-city tour beginning Feb. 23 in Kansas City, Mo. He arrived in Pensacola on Monday. Pensacola is not on the concert list, so about 8,700 fans in this Panhandle city of 60,000 have signed a petition urging Jackson to perform.

The die-hard devotees just want to see their Thriller, and what they got at last was Mr. Bad himself.

On Friday about 200 people -- from infants to the elderly -- gathered in freezing temperatures for a pep rally outside the downtown civic center.

"We want Michael, We want Michael," the crowd chanted for more than three hours. Finally, Jackson appeared for three seconds on a civic center balcony. For most, that fleeting glimpse was enough.

"I'm speechless," said Tammi Robnett, 17. "I'm freezing. I'd catch a cold over Michael Jackson any day."

Mayor Vince Whibbs, known for being stingy with public proclamations, broke down and announced that Friday was "Michael Jackson Appreciation Day."

Officials estimated Jackson's entourage has pumped tens of thousands of dollars into the city's economy since the 150 members of the band and crew began arriving last month.

Even the civic center, which normally co-sponsors events with Coke, allowed rallygoers to down free cups of Pepsi, Jackson's trademark soft drink and only known junk-food vice. The Jackson entourage has had cases of Pepsi shipped in for rehearsals, which ended Friday.

Why all the commotion and devotion over one person?

"I love him a lot, and I just wish he'd take the time and understand it instead of just hiding himself," said Mariella D'Ercole, 18, who rode a bus from Toronto, Canada, to see Jackson.

Others, like Leon Rankins, want to be discovered. The 16-year-old musician and songwriter from Pensacola has a fantasy: He's singing at a nightclub, giving it all he has, and Jackson walks in. The audience freezes. Jackson points a gloved finger at Rankins and says, "That's him, he's the next great artist." Then they sing together.

You don't have to convince J.D. North that Jackson has been a boon to Pensacola.

"He's one of the hottest acts out there," said North, program director for WJLQ-FM.

The rally and petition drive were North's idea. So was the two-week hunger strike by two of his disc jockeys to focus attention on world hunger, an issue Jackson has championed.

The disc jockeys lost about 20 pounds each, but that hasn't coaxed Jackson to show his face. It has heaped a lot of attention on WJLQ, Pensacola's only Top 40 station. North's petition drive has been featured on Cable News Network and in USA Today, not to mention coverage from the local newspaper, television and competing radio stations.

One competitor even delivered biscuits to the starving disc jockeys last week to tempt them into breaking their fast, which ended Monday.

North persuaded the mayor to issue the "Jackson Day" proclamation and approve Friday's pep rally, although North had to leave his station's broadcast van at the office. It's covered with the red-and-white Coke logo, the van's sponsor.

"They told me, 'No. Until they Jackson and his crew leave, this is Pepsi land,' " North said.

Forget Pepsi. For the fans, this is Michael Jackson land.

Dozens of teen-agers skipped school to wait for hours outside the 10,000- seat civic center hoping to see Jackson before and after rehearsals.

"I didn't skip school, I just checked out," corrected Rankins, an Escambia High School student. "I'm sure Michael would understand."

For Rankins and a few lucky others, their persistence paid off.

"Oh God! I saw him," screamed Bobby Cheatum, 17, as Jackson's tinted red van swept by the civic center late Thursday to the Pensacola Hilton next door."

But so far, most fans have only tales of rumored sightings -- dozens of them. About 30 callers a day report the latest gossip to the 24-hour "Michael Jackson hot line" North has set up at his station.

Jackson has been spotted in a Burger King wolfing down a Whopper Junior. He's been seen walking down the street with his monkey and girlfriend. He has appeared at a high school party.

Dozens reported he was in the emergency room of West Regional Medical Center for treatment for a leg injured during rehearsal.

"I've heard that one so many times it's got to be true, although the hospital denied it," North said. Besides, he has personal proof: A friend of a friend of a friend saw Jackson in the emergency room and got his autograph. At least, that's what he heard.
