🌧 Let them let it out, let them cry, let them whine about it, let them know their feelings are okay and you care about them. be there for them, that's what's the most important. 🌧 Get their favourite stuffies and blankies, aka comfort items for them 🌧 Get their favourite snack if you have it around! 🌧 If your little one wants (always ask beforehand!) give them a cuddle 🌧 Put on their favourite TV show, or play their favourite game together! 🌧 if you can, try and give them advice, or just reassuring words and comfort 🌧 When they calm down, ask them if they want to do anything special. 🌧 Recommend a nap time, naps help a lot when sad. 🌧 Tell them a story to distract themselves 🌧 Use grounding exercises (name 5 things in the room, breathing exercises) 🌧 and last and most important. be patient and don't rush them to explain why they are sad, don't raise your voice and yell, make them feel loved.

How do I know if I am an Age Regressor?
Hello my cookies! If you are anything like me, you may have questioned at some point if you truly are an age regressor or not. Thankfully, there is no wrong or right way to regress, but for those of you who may be wondering if you are a regressor, here are some things to be aware of if you are questioning!
🫧 Comfort in Childlike Activities: If you find solace or joy in engaging in activities traditionally associated with children, like coloring, playing with toys, or watching cartoons, you might be an age regressor. These activities can bring a sense of calm and security.
🫧 Seeking Out Caretakers: You might feel a strong desire for someone to take on a caretaker role, providing comfort, guidance, or nurturing. This could be a sign that you experience regression as a way to feel safe and protected.
🫧 Emotional Shifts: Age regression can manifest during times of stress, anxiety, or emotional overwhelm. You might notice that you revert to a younger state of mind when you feel vulnerable or uncertain.
🫧 Change in Language or Behavior: You might notice that your language, tone, or even the way you express yourself changes when you regress. This could include using simpler language, baby talk, or feeling more playful and carefree.
🫧 Preference for Comfort Items: If you find comfort in items like stuffed animals, blankets, pacifiers, or certain types of clothing, these could be significant indicators of age regression. These items often provide a sense of safety or nostalgia.

Hi! I'm katee nice to meet you. I'm new to Tumblr and i came here to make friends but also ask questions. My question is how do you tell your friend that you have age regression? I'm very anxious to tell him/her. So sorry if this is weird
Hi Katee, sorry if it's been a long time! I only get on this blog occasionally 😅 This isn't a weird question at all!!
Tbh not many of my friends know I age regress. It's a very personal thing to me, and I used to be more open with people irl about it, but anymore I keep it to myself and my partners.
This isn't to say it's bad to tell people, this is just my preference. I will usually bring it up if someone mentions age regression, though.
My friends know I like cutesy things, they know I like stuffies and all that. They've seen sippy cups in my cupboard and kid utensils in my drawer. Most of the time, it's not mentioned. I'm also neurodivergent and a lot of my friends are as well, and I know a lot of neurodivergent people tend to like smaller cutlery. I personally like it even when not in smol space bc texture stuff (I have ones made of recycled milk jugs, the texture is just *chefs kiss*)
I think a few of my friends know and just don't really say anything. That's not to say you need to hide it or anything. I used to be embarrassed about it, but not so much anymore. I keep my onesies and other things out of sight though lol.
If you feel comfortable telling a friend, I'd bring it up in a neutral setting. Make sure neither of you are overly stressed. Also when telling people, make sure you are not regressing at the time. This is to protect yourself mentally and physically. I know my feelings get hurt super easily in smol space. If they don't take it very well, it can hurt. But please remember, no matter what, you're not doing anything wrong.
Ways I've explained it before are, "I like baby things, I sometimes act younger than I am bc I didn't have a great childhood and this helps me heal. Sometimes it happens involuntarily as a response to being scared. You don't need to participate, I just wanted you to know this is a part of me."
I know this is a longer response, but if anybody wants me to go into more detail in a separate post, I definitely can!! I hope this helps, even if it was kind of all over the place lol.

Being your own caregiver is important. It’s not just prepping a time and space to regress. It’s also about treating yourself with kindness, respect, and understanding.
Even if you have a Caregiver, you still need to be able to treat your little self the way they deserve to be treated.
This could look like ~
🩵talking to yourself through big emotions
🍓making sure any little items are clean and ready for you when you’ll need them
🩵redoing your day plan to accommodate your little self and their needs
🍓giving yourself constant reassurance and affirmations
🩵checking in with yourself about your wants, needs, feelings, boundaries and to work with your little self on them

Here are some ideas for folks tht may be struggling getting up &&doing the tingz !!
♡ Print off a sticker chart !! Ik for me having external motivation aka cute lil stickers showing how good I’ve been can rly rly help !!
♡ Bring along your stuffie/favorite toy !! They’re your fren & wanna help u do the thing !!
♡ Play age-appropriate music & dance & sing along while u work !! This can make the thing feel less daunting & more silly & fun !!
♡ Have a kid-appropriate movie/tv show on in the background !! Just be sure to not get too distracted, little one !! ଘ(੭˃ᴗ˂)੭
♡ Ask your cg for a reward if u complete all da tingz !! Rewards can be things like regression time w them that night, sweets, etc !! If u don’t have a cg, thts totally ok !! U can also do these things solo !! ദ്ദി ( ᵔ ᗜ ᵔ )
♡ Make urself a snack/meal first !! Ik for me sometimes the energy boost is definitely needed !! Some age-appropriate foods can be apple slices w peanut butter/caramel, mac n cheese, milk in a baba, etc !! Just stay healthy little ones !!
♡ This one’s may be harder for some, but try calling another liddol fren/someone who supports your regression if you’ve got any !! I’m lucky enough to have this option, it’s ok if u don’t !! But sometimes talking to somebody helps me get up & at’em !!
♡ Play a regression podcast !! This one’s good for those of us tht may not have a cg/regression buddies to talk to !! When I’ve been cg-less these have rly rly helped me !! ૮ ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶ ა

🩷How to tell someone about your regression🩷
��This is just some tips on how to do it, aka how I usually do it. If another way works for you that's great! This is just some idea on how to do it and be comfortable with it!🧃
🩷videos and online resources, if you are shy about explaining it yourself there are some great Textposts and videos online that explain regression and what it is, I have some myself on my tik tok and Instagram (I'll link the TikTok below) and there is a short film on YouTube called "too little" that's awesome🩷
🧃explain, I like to start by explaining what agereggression is, or even ask if they know something about it already, sometimes they do and that can be a great point to work from🧃
🩷be open, be open about why you regress at least as much as you are comfortable, people are kess likely to react poorly if they know why and can understand it🩷
🧃text message, preparing a text message or letter in advance, maybe even with a friend or cg, can be super helpful, especially if you experience going nonverbal🧃
🩷be sure, do not open up to someone because you feel forced or scared, be sure you feel safe with the person and exposing such a vulnerable side to them, nobody is entitled to your safe space🩷
🧃test the water, I like to hint at regression and test the waters first, wearing jewelry with kiddo nicknames or similar on it or having merch from more well known brands, if someone recognizes them and asks about it you know there is base knowledge🧃
🩷open up, I like to let people know about my trauma and other trauma-responses first, once they are aware of certain things it helps with the talk later on as it won't be as much if a shock that you might have to cope in unconventional ways🩷

1. How to NOT steal stuff!
Any work with the tag “Free to use” (also known as “F2U”) means that they are allowed to be reposted, used in collages, edits etc. Just check if credits are needed!
*Important addition (that I can’t believe I had to add):
* “Why does this matter?” “Can’t you just ask where they got it from?”
It’s a question of politeness and fairness, yes, someone can ask where that piece is from but it’s not a guaranteed answer, people can lie and people can forget!
Also, people might see it and take it at face value, think the post belongs to that person when it doesn’t
Adding to that, there’s folks that do not want their work reposted for many reasons!
To top it off, heres the issue of the original creators not getting the attention they deserve, imagine that you spent hours on a piece just for it to be stolen and that post getting more attention then your own original post, that one you worked hours for it to, to be just the way you wanted it to be, that would upset you wouldn’t it?
Overall, crediting and asking to repost is just the polite thing to do
For Artworks:
Your first need to check if the artist allows reposting of their work or the use of them for collages, if they allow, then you link to their original post and state who drew the pics of art
For GIF’s + non-product photos:
Credit to the original post! Or at least as far back as you can find it!
Usually photos of products such as toys, plushies, accessories etc made by big brands are easy to spot and know where they came from (ex: blogs that post PNG’s usually don’t need to credit all their sources), but, small business/hand crafted works should always be credited!
Reposting moodboards:
Similar to artworks, first ask permission to repost, if allowed link to the original creator!
“But they said “no”!”:
Then don’t do it! Even with credits! Don’t do it! Is as simple as that! Respect others right to say no!
2. How do I identify stolen work?
There are many giveaways of stolen posts, such as:
• Low photo quality
• Watermarks that don’t match
• Lack of information about what was made (for who it was etc)
• Unable to answer simple questions such as what brush they used or long it took

3. What do i do if my work was stolen?
1. Inform the person that it’s your work and to either remove it or credit them
2. If it’s still not credited or taken down, report their post
3. If the report didn’t go anywhere or if the account is still doing it to yours and others content, please make an awareness post about it. Strength comes in numbers after all!

Let’s stop with this unpleasant and rude act of stealing others work!
I really hate to see that on our community, please, inform more people about it and report any acc that profits of others uncredited/stolen content!

a serious talk about pacifiers
Please, no matter what anyone says, it is not 100% safe to use pacifiers.
this isn’t just about baby pacis. I’m talking about adult size ones too.
over time your teeth will shift if you use a pacifier intensely and for a long time. They will, after prolonged use, cause your teeth to splay/ flare out as well as potentially develop an Over/ underbite. If you feel your bite feels weird after using a pacifier, it’s not all in your head.
I’m not saying these things to scare you but it’s a common misconception that if you have a fully developed mouth than it’s perfectly okay to use adult pacifiers without any repercussions and that’s just not true.
I know our pacifiers can be essential to our mental health, our regression, etc. (plus they’re super adorable) so I’m not telling you to stop using them all together (i myself, am still going to use them). I would however recommend limiting usage to 15 minutes (25 max), try your best not suck incredibly hard on it, clean them before and after every use (because bacteria), wear your retainer or Invisalign regularly if you have them, and most importantly talk to your dentist or orthodontist because everyone is different. You may not experience these issues in the way I have or at all.

👑Tips for littles on a budget👑
This is some tips for tinies (or carers looking for gifts for kiddos) on a budget! Of course you don't need any gear to be a good regressor but a lot of us like toys etc. and it's okay to want them!
🧸thrift stores, a lot of thrift stores have toys and plushies, sometimes they are a bit broken or dirty but there are lots of tutorials on YouTube for cleaning and restoring plushies and toys🧸
🐾e-books, you can find kids books online as e-books which are often pretty cheap or you can watch tiktoks of people reading those books🐾
🩷diy onesies, a lot of regressors like onesies but the prices are pretty steep, if you can't afford them don't fret! Its super easy and affordable to make one yourself all you need is an old t-shirt and snap buttons plus a way to attach them, just get a big t-shirt, sweatshirt or even hoodie and add 2-4 snap buttons in the crotch, boom you have a super cute and discreet onesie!🩷
🧸diy toys, there are lots of toys you can make yourself either by sewing or crafting and there's lot soft videos on YouTube for it, or get creative🧸
🐾mobile games, I love to play video games when im regressed but game consoles are expensive so free mobile games are a great alternative🐾
🩷dollar store etc, while you shouldn't rely on stores or websites that use cheap labor for everything it's okay to make exceptions every now and then, especially for toys, pacis, sippy cups and similar🩷
🧸pull ups, instead of cute printed diapers get big kid pull-ups in the baby-section or medical diapers from a drugstore, they are less then half the price of a pack of adult diapers from brands like tears etc.🧸
🐾learn to diy, making things yourself is often the most affordable thing to do, not with everything obviously but with a lot of things, learn as much stuff as you can so you can make lots of gear yourself🐾
🩷look for affordable stores, lots of paci stores on Instagram are very affordable and the ones that aren't often have sales so keep an eye out for that, lots of shops also have promoter codes they are happy for you to use, for example with my code 'bunnybab' you get a small discount at pacisbybunnie and cozypacicorner🩷
🧸buy second hand, thrift stores are a great place but if you want little specific stuff looking on vinted, swoop or even insta is a great idea! Lots of people sell gear they no longer connect with🧸
