Danny, due to one of his parents’ weapons exploding and having a bad reaction to a weapon the GIW had crudely made, was now the parent of a four year old child version of his evil self(boy was that a mouthful) and a two year old version of his female clone.

Tucker and Sam had set up an apartment for him and the kids in Star City, since they had found out the GIW had set up shop in Gotham. Tucker had even made fake papers for him and the kids. He was now Danny Manter, the parent of Ellie and Jordan Manter. Now, if only he could get his new boss to stop staring at him….

Dinah was concerned for her newest employee in a professional capacity, no matter how much her husband teased her about wanting to be the next Batman. She was a professional! She already had Roy, she didn’t need another one!

…. This became significantly harder to stick by after witnessing her new employee use a scream more powerful than hers during an alien invasion when one of the invaders got too close to his kids.

it’s insane to me that ppl are SHOCKED buck and tommy broke up? from the beginning we knew it wasn’t going to last? tommy was a plot device? they didn’t know until last minute if they were gonna do it with buck or eddie iirc? tommy literally got buck basketball tickets for their 6 month anniversary, when buck hating basketball was one of the reasons bucktommy even became a thing? and ur…mourning a queer relationship talking about how it’s HOMOPHOBIC to break them up? i’d actually say keeping buck in a relationship he wasn’t appreciated/heard/seen in is homophobic and dumb. like it was HIS FIRST KISS WITH A GUY AND NOT TWO SECONDS LATER THEYRE DATING. like let buck explore and enjoy??? it’s also so unrealistic to make them endgame when, again, ITS BUCKS FIRST QUEER RELATIONSHIP. *blank stare* be so serious rn. don’t even get me started on how fucked up them getting together was after the shit tommy pulled by leaving buck, WHO JUST REALIZED HE WAS QUEER, on the curb after their first date bc buck didn’t come out in the middle of the restaurant to his best friend and his gf. as if tommy himself wouldn’t understand EXACTLY how buck feels or why he would panic and not tell eddie like. *wide eyed blank stare*

A while ago Falynn K. asked this question on Twitter:

"So on a tall sailing ship you have the mast, and you have the yards across it--is the yard/spar actually attached to the mast, by like i dunno, a pin or something, or is it strictly roped/lashed to it?"

This is a totally reasonable question! A lot of folks who haven't sailed square riggers might think that the yard stays put, but in fact it needs to move up and down the mast so the sails can be fully set. (Y'know how everyone's always talking about halyards? They literally haul the yard up. You're welcome.)

So to answer the question: yards are held loosely to the mast by a looped line strung with large wooden beads called a parrel. The beads roll up the mast as the yard is raised and lowered. Here's a drawover that hopefully clarifies a little:

Once you start explaining things about tall ship anatomy it's hard to stop, so there's a bit more context for how the sails work:

Hello, although I know this isn't the topic right now with all the Error stuff happening, I wanted to ask more about Olive and the Twins!

How old was Nightmare when he meet Olive, and when did the "incident" happen to the twins in this AU?

olive and nightmare met before they were even in their teen years - but old enough to understand the world around them is flawed

the incident happened not too long before they could be considered of age to be king

oliver aiku knows exactly what caused you to block him on everything. everything was going so well, and he made sure to make it known that he only loves you and appreciates you, with his reputation of being a heartbreaker and all...

it's inevitable that he's got the occasional jealous ex here and there trying to ruin his love life. he'd get it if he was his old self, but he wants you to be his end game! you may not be deep into a fifteen year relationship and three year marriage yet, but he swears you're going to be the person he grows old with. why couldn't they have done it earlier when he was dating for fun rather than settling down?

but he guesses it's pretty obvious when you're the only partner that he's had who he posts about frequently, showing off gifts and dates that you go on for everyone to see. he's genuinely in love, no matter what other people say. he'll even put it on his official instagram because who is actually going to stop him? management? he thinks not.

oliver knows what he wants. if that's you, then blocking him isn't going to do anything. you clearly want each other, and he's willing to do anything to get you back. seems like his only option was via emails. he's gonna have to write it seriously, in case you actually don't "forgive" him.
